Do not walk, RUN for the best authentic Mexican food in N.VA (Middleburg, Va). Family owned & operated (mom/aunt are the chefs, cousins are the servers). SUPER friendly. Maria (owner) is young but beyond her years is customer service & a joy to talk to. Food is AMAZING!!! Super fresh and made daily. We didn’t want to leave. DELICIOUS and only Mexican food place we’ll go moving fwd!

What a great place! We had Mexican before but never had anything like this. It was out of this world. Everything tasted fantastic. It was bursting with so many different flavors. The salsa and chip was the best we've ever had. We even asked if we can buy the salsa. The owner was so kind and wonderful. She said that they make the salsa, chips and everything they can from the fresh every day!

So we only had chips and salsa with a few beers and shots BUT Maria, Jeffery (Geoffrey?) and Vladimir were absolutely wonderful. The vibes were great, they were so kind and made sure we were taken care of. Can’t wait to come back and try some food! Salsa was amazing.

We came to CDMX Mexican Bar & Grill for a special night out and had an amazing experience. The restaurant is small and intimate, the service was outstanding, and we were blown away by the food. None of us were expecting to get great Mexican food in Middleburg, Virginia. Wow! It was fantastic. Highly recommend it here.

The food is good and the prices are fair. The margaritas are soft but very pleasant. They have tables outside.The tacos was delicious. A good option and the customer service is good.

We loved the chicken burrito and the pork dish, they were perfectly seasoned. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Loved the atmosphere. There is an accessible entrance on the side. The bathroom was clean but small. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant!

Amazing Mexican food in Middlesberg! The interior is inviting and colorful! Food is great and the frozen margaritas are tasty! Selvin is a great host and waiter! When at Salamander or in town, check it out.

First time visiting Middleburg last Thursday and came across this Mexican restaurant in the downtown. Food service was wonderful good customer service the waiter employees are very professional to me. Makes me want to come back in the future.

We went here during the Christmas parade timeframe. We checked in at the front desk at 12 and they said there was an hour and a half wait. We understood the long wait for two reasons one the area is crowded during the parade timeframe and two the restaurants super small. However two hours go by and are literally standing out front waiting to be called .. to no avail. Mind you multiple tables are visibly empty inside and out. So already giving a bad impression prior to ordering any food. We end up asking about our table and they finally seat us. Our waitress was a little frazzled. Our queso was ice cold so you couldn't even eat it not to mention it came out last .. which makes no sense seeing how we ordered it as an appetizer. Our drinks were pretty bad, we had margaritas that were just syrup with a tiny splash of tequila. What was good was my fajitas and my husbands arroz con pollo. My son had the Mac and cheese and fries which is just easy Mac so it was fine nothing to write home about. The chicken was well seasoned along with the rice and beans. So no complaints there. But outside of that the experience here was negative. We likely won't return because even though the food was good we had an 80 dollar tab for at best 45 dollar food and two drinks

Margaritas are great and service is top notch. Love this place. The food, steak fajitas, is delicious.

First time visiting and pleasantly surprised by the food and service, given some of the prior reviews. Our meal was hot and everything tasted fresh. We ordered chori pollo and arroz con pollo. There were a ton of fresh veggies in the arroz con pollo, and the chips and salsa was warm and fresh.

Stopped in here briefly for a libation and to see how the atmosphere is. Enjoyed it. Modelo on tap and the best chorizo I've had in awhile. Will definitely be back

They charged us $50 to reserve a table and then did not credit us the $50.toward the bill. Nothing was said at the time of the reservation that this was a fee they charge to save a table. We have never experienced this before. The food was marginal and slow. We had to get our menus ourselves after waiting 10 minutes at the table. CDMX has gone down in quality significantly over the past year.

The service and food were very good. I loved my steak nachos fajitas. Really big portion. My partner had a steak chimichanga with rice and beans that he liked very much. Margaritas were also good. This is a nice addition to Middleburg.

First time here - food had good flavors - salsa was OK but not a lot of flavor - chips came out warm which was nice - I ordered the Burrito Deluxe - 2 chicken burrritos with rice and beans - again flavors were good but the burritos were very small - about 1/2 the size you would get at Taco Bell - ended up leaving still hungry - wife got the pork tacos - very good and appropriate amount of food for the price - I was jealous - overall OK - the couple sitting at a table next to us got the nachos and the plate was piled high - will go back but skip the burritos - not a good value

Trio dip app was so good and we already had warm chips and salsa which were very good. We got the aroz con pollo and jambalaya burrito and both were so tasty and very large potions. Waitress was fantastic and took very good care of us. It's a small place inside and I'm sure doesn't get the reviews it should but you should give it a try! Definitely going back to try other stuff in hopes I don't stuff myself with chips and dip!

Went with our son....service was great, chips and salsa were spot on! Love warm, fresh chips! I had carnitas soft taco, and a steak soft taco with black beans and rice...a little heavy on the salt in the beans, but the tacos were great! Our son had nachos supreme...he enjoyed them. The service was wonderful. The young man was likely also the manager on duty. He was thoughtful, kind, checked on us, and brought us extra napkins without us needing to ask. We look forward to going back soon!

Poor quality ingredients. The "American cheese" they use is mozzarella & it tasted really old. Fajitas were gross and presented poorly and we kept finding hairs on our table and plate. They play inappropriate TV on all TV's that hold space in the corners of the restaurant so it's definitely impossible to keep your child from watching. Overall the food was not good, atmosphere was that of a cheap bar. Regretted coming here.

Small portions, high prices, and whole family got food poisoning. I would not recommend dining there.

Food is very good Mexican. The drink menu has no prices. We ordered 2 margaritas that turned out to be about $24 each on our bill. Our friends ordered 2 other types of Margaritas and they turned out to be about $20 each on their bill. It would be nice if they listed the prices to prevent surprises like that.
