The 38 Best Restaurants in Rome, Italy | Eater

"Located a short distance from Stazione Trastevere, C’è Pasta… e Pasta (translation: “There’s pasta… and pasta”) serves delicious kosher meals to eat in or take away. Order at the counter and don’t miss Roman Jewish classics like carciofi alla giudia (fried artichokes), filetti di baccala (battered fried cod), aliciotti con l’indivia (layered anchovy and frisee casserole), and concia (fried and marinated zucchini). As the name promises, they also serve pasta dishes and sell fresh pasta to cook at home. Must-try dishes: The Roman Jewish concia and baccala are particularly special." - Katie Parla

When I crave roughage, I visit C’e’ Pasta…e Pasta for concia and deeply roasted vegetables.

Amazing. Homemade pasta and other roman dishes . Changing selection. Lasagne was the best I ever had in my life

A simple local deli with a good variety of vegetable dishes, as well as some seafood, meat, & pastas. However, some of the pasta is made for local to take home and cook. It’s a popular location with the locals for its low prices, quality food, and value. Our favorite was the mushrooms with seasoned & diced tomatoes.

Lasagna was meh, eggplant parmesan was very good. It's a place to eat quickly and leave. Served on plastic plates and heated in a microwave. That being said, it's also inexpensive so that's expected. All in all, enjoyed it there.

This place is great for a quick bite! The staff is very friendly and they treat you well, the food is good, however not the best you will find in Rome due to the fact that they microwave it right in front of you and still charge 5€ for a lasagna slice. The food is very filling however and it still tasted very good! If you want a fast bite to eat then this is the place to go and keep in mind they only serve pasta, no meat, no pizza, just pasta

As tourists, we didn't feel welcome in the place. We asked for the 'fries' and the guy harshly replied that it was potatoes. So we picked food, kind of in a hurry (we were not alone, so of course we understood by ourselves that it was good to be rapid). However it was apparently unconveniant to ask questions about the dishes which seemed to be delicious. Regarding the food, the 'potatoes' were good but very oily. The omelet was nice but quite salty. To be truly honest, it is good food that you have there, and well prepared, you can feel and taste it. Another point, you don't know how much you will pay at the end, and there's no detail on the receipt.

The most delicious lasagna I have ever tasted! Great family owned establishment that sells fresh pasta, and ready made pasta dishes as well. Highly recommended if you want to taste some of the best food in Rome.

Stop what you are doing an go here! We were staying across the road from this place and travelled all the way into the city for dinner each day - what fools we were! We went here mostly because it was close by and we were feeling a little lazy - and it was the best meal we ate in Roma! We started with roasted cherry tomatoes and potatoes cooked in olive oil and rosemary, then got a serve of the cheese and pepper ravioli with the the spicy tomato sauce - and all 3 were delicious. The pasta was so fresh, the tomatoes tart, but sweet and the sauce - delicious. The people in front of us got told to speak English rather than broken italian - so speak slow if English is your language. They have about 6-8 pastas and 3-4 sauces, just ask what they are and they will tell you. We had two plates of starters, bread, two beer and two plates of pasta for 24 euro. Bargain! Definitely stop here if you can.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this little neighborhood gem quite by accident and it was our lifesaver during our week long apartment home stay in Rome. The artisan salads and pastas are fresh and delicious. They offer warm bread along with each order. C'e pasta ..e pasta allowed us to enjoy excellent home cooking on a budget . Tutto Bene !
