I've been to Cece's a couple of times now with dinner for friends, and I've enjoyed it both times!
Between my two visits, I've tried quite a few dishes from the menu: burrata (with persimmon, radicchio, banyuls vinaigrette); ahi tuna crudo (radish, mandarin, Calabrian chili vinagrette); little gem lettuces (with basil, avocado, and parmesan); wagyu tartare (pistachio, truffle aioli, and mint); roasted octopus (with garbanzo bean and green chermoula); ricotta cavatelli (trumpet mushroom, butternut squash, brown butter); mushroom risotto (with mixed mushrooms, manchego, and puffed wild rice); and more. Their menu is great and varied. I also love that they offer a chef's tasting menu (for $79 with an additional wine pairing for $40), which is a great way to try a lot of their menu if you're with a smaller group! Their beverage program is also great. I'm obsessed with their Cece's Martini (Stoli, blue cheese olives, and "filthy olive juice"), but their wine list is wonderful as well.
The restaurant is gorgeous and has great ambiance. It's upscale but still comfortable. Some people definitely dress up for a meal at Cece's, but you can still dress comfortably. The restaurant has a fantastic outside space (heaters, couches, an outdoor bar, TVs playing sports), which I hope doesn't close for winter! It would be a great place to watch a football game while enjoying some great wine.
The service is great, too. During both dinners, all of the staff were friendly and helpful and added to a great experience. So good food, good drinks, good service, good vibes! I'm sure I'll be back many times in the future!
