The Hottest New Restaurants to Try Around Baltimore

"Cross Keys continues its redevelopment journey, hardly recognizable from just a few years ago. The latest opening is Cece’s Roland Park, a coastal European restaurant helmed by chef Nick Sharpe, a Maryland native with Michelin-starred credentials. The expansive, 7,000-square-foot space is matched by a menu of myriad influences: ’nduja and chickpea spread with za’atar spices, creamy corn soup with piquillo peppers, short rib agnolotti swimming in a Barolo-influenced sauce, and whole branzino served alongside calamansi limes. If you want a bit more casual, head to the adjacent Cece’s Kitchen where you can enjoy wood-fired pizza in the open-air courtyard. A warning that the vibe feels definitively more suburban than city life but, on the warm summer night we were there, no one seemed to mind at all." - Jess Mayhugh, Tierney Plumb

Everything about the experience was 10/10. Jodie got us a last minute reservation before a show we were going to. Only had an hour to eat. Our server Grace was great with my allergies and got our food out quick. Vibes were great, food was delicious and the restaurant was clean. We shared the meatballs, gem lettuce salad, vodka pasta, artichoke ravioli and seafood pasta. Will definitely be going back to sit in the courtyard.

Cece’s is such a hidden gem. The overall vibe is immaculate that caters to the upscale date ambiance. Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We ate our way through a handful of the menu items. I especially loved the two pasta dishes we tried. The pizza was also incredible. They had so many options that made sharing food easy.

Celebrated my mother's milestone birthday! Beautiful ambiance. The tuna tartare and wagyu meatball appetizers were fresh & flavorful. The truffle mushroom pizza entree was tasty and a generous portion. Our server was attentive and offered wine tasting that was very helpful in making my selection to accompany my meal. There was a small birthday treat with a candle. Can't wait to experience dinner options. Open 11-2p for lunch. Online reservations available. Outdoor seating available.

Our group of 11 came in for dinner, and from the moment we walked through the door, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The staff was attentive and ensured that every detail was perfect throughout the evening. We were especially impressed by how they managed to seamlessly cater to a large group like ours without missing a beat. The food was outstanding, with every dish prepared to perfection. I highly recommend trying the Orange Crush and Passion Fruit Daiquiri; both were refreshing and expertly crafted. Even though I had a special request that wasn’t on the menu, the kitchen went above and beyond to accommodate it, which truly shows their commitment to customer satisfaction. As for the meals, the King Salmon was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and cooked just right. The Veal Chop was another highlight—juicy, tender, and perfectly cooked to my liking. Every bite was a testament to the skill and care that goes into their cooking. Overall, the combination of fantastic food, exceptional drinks, and top-notch service made our dining experience unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on all fronts, I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. We will definitely be coming back!” We came back in 2025, menu items are changed. Not sure if they are doing seasonal menu or not

Google
This is an amazing spot that I will def be returning to, everything we ordered was plated perfectly, and delicious from beginning to end. The restaurant is lovely with a perfect ambiance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Their pizza is made in a brick oven and is easily some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. This is a spot I wholeheartedly recommend!!

I'm definitely going back. This hidden gym was a great find one Saturday afternoon while in the Baltimore area. The patio is beautiful, and the food is delicious. My cocktail was made with perfection. Can't wait to return in the fall and enjoy the patio then, too.

Cece's in Roland Park is one of those places that quietly impresses without trying too hard. From the moment we sat down, the vibe felt intentional—laid back, but elevated. I kicked things off with their lemon drop made with Tito’s, and it was spot-on: chilled just right, citrus-forward, and balanced enough to sip slow and enjoy. Now let’s talk about the bread. It’s the kind of thing you swear you’ll only have one piece of, and before you know it, it’s gone. Soft, buttery, and honestly addictive. It’s the kind of bread that makes you question your self-control in public. The branzino was perfectly seared with a crisp skin and moist, flaky interior—clearly someone in the kitchen knows their way around a pan. The seasoning wasn’t just surface level; the flavors were layered, vibrant, and intentional. I caught a subtle note of citrus zest that paired beautifully with the agrodolce cipollini onions - tender, sweet-and-tangy bites that brought just the right contrast to the dish.. When paired with their Sauvignon Blanc, it brought the whole dish together in a way that felt thoughtful, not forced. Sides: I almost skipped the roasted broccoli because of the anchovy mention, but the server explained it was blended - no fishy taste, just depth. They were right. And the spinach? My personal favorite. I love garlic, but this was done with a light hand—seasoned just enough to enhance, not mask. Everything felt cooked with care. Service was another win. Our server was attentive without hovering, and everything moved smoothly without us ever needing to ask twice. We sat outside, and the setting was relaxed with just enough polish to feel special. Highly recommend for a date night, a relaxed but elevated dinner with friends, or even a solo evening when you just want to treat yourself to good food and a chill vibe.

I’ve eaten at Cece’s of Roland Park twice now—once in February and again in July—and both visits were excellent. I live in PA and was in Baltimore for work, so I made a reservation for 3 and asked some family to join me. The place was really busy in July but still had great service. I had the lamb sirloin, which was tender and full of flavor. My family had the scallops and roasted beets (which I surprisingly loved, even though I used to hate beets!). The corn soup with mussels was honestly amazing—I could’ve eaten a big bowl of just that and been happy. Only surprise: a 6oz glass of Riesling (Weinbach Theo) that my oldest family member ordered ended up being $42, which caught us off guard. Delicious wine, but definitely something to be aware of. Otherwise, a great dining experience. Fresh, creative food and a cozy, vibrant vibe. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

Yelp
Food a bit disappointing, but will give it another chance. Beautiful restaurant and we had great service, but the food wasn't quite right. Maybe the head chef wasn't working tonight. The "roasted" carrots were literally raw with negligible carrot flavor. The "risotto" was basically a rice pilaf. Wine and bread were great. My rigatoni was slightly undercooked. Eggplant caponata was just ok. The food gave me the impression that the kitchen was going through the motions but not spending sufficient time - or they just didn't know how - to make sure the food was prepared correctly.

Yelp
Overall, good. Nice atmosphere, though a little loud. I enjoyed the food and drinks (I had a Mezcal Sour and a vodka martini). I ate some short rib pasta, which was tasty but not plentiful. Also an enormous French fry or two, and some gorgeous looking garlic bread that was impossible to separate without tearing (the level of butter was dense in it, but it rafter good and had excellent texture). Service was knowledgeable and attentive.

Yelp
My experience at this restaurant was a bit disappointing. I do not want to be harsh as they just opened and would love to give them another chance down the road. The atmosphere of the restaurant is upscale and sophisticated. The interior design was very well put together with gorgeous saddle brown booths, great ambient lighting, and a very open bar at the center. The service was very attentive and accommodating. Also our individual server was very knowledgeable and friendly. For food we split the meatballs, traditional pizza, and grilled octopus to start. The meatballs were mediocre at best and the pizza was lacking flavor, however, the crust had a nice crunch to it. For an entree I had the 12oz NY Strip which was served with hash brown logs as a side. The steak was cooked to the correct internal temperature but was not very warm. The flavor was not bad but nothing special. Overall, a bit disappointed in my first experience at Cece's but would be willing to give them another chance. On my next trip I would try a pasta entree to see if it could deliver more flavor.

Yelp
Cece's of Roland Park has been on my bucket list for quite sometime and I am glad that I finally got a chance to go. This restaurant just has a nice swanky, sexy vibe. It is very dimly lit, very cozy and intimate. The decor was reallty old school modern-chic, reminded me of a home with a cute sunken living room. Perfect date night, birthday celebration, or just want a nice dinner out. Upon arrival we were seated immediately and our server Emma immediately greeted us. For drink starter's I went with the smoked old fashioned and my friend her opted for the espresso martini. Both cocktails were made to perfection. My drink was so good, I ordered a second one For food we started with the hearth roasted carrots( greek yogurt, harissa and pistachios) and the wagyu tartare( pistachios, truffle ailoi and mint). Both appetizers were delicious. The roasted carrots were amazing, and the wagyu tartare was fresh and clean on the palate. Delicious. For dinner we opted for the Amish Chicken. This dish is a whole chicken, and it is perfect for sharing. Two ppl can eat this meal, to be brutally honest, possibly three. The portion was huge. The chicken was very flavorful and moist. It was accompanied with white beans, kale, focaccia croutons and chicken jus. The server will pour the chicken jus over the chicken when it comes to your table. For dessert we did the dulce de leche cake and the smoked vanilla panna cotta. Both portions were huge, next time I will get just one dessert. The desserts were so decedent. Overall the dinner was phenomenal, there was not a dish that we did not like. We are planning to get a few friends together for a small brunch outing here after the holiday. There is other dishes I would like to try, such as the branziono and the pastas and pizza. The village of Cross Keys is bustling with really nice shops and restaurants, and CeCe's is a nice addition. I wish them all the success

Yelp
I've been to Cece's a couple of times now with dinner for friends, and I've enjoyed it both times! Between my two visits, I've tried quite a few dishes from the menu: burrata (with persimmon, radicchio, banyuls vinaigrette); ahi tuna crudo (radish, mandarin, Calabrian chili vinagrette); little gem lettuces (with basil, avocado, and parmesan); wagyu tartare (pistachio, truffle aioli, and mint); roasted octopus (with garbanzo bean and green chermoula); ricotta cavatelli (trumpet mushroom, butternut squash, brown butter); mushroom risotto (with mixed mushrooms, manchego, and puffed wild rice); and more. Their menu is great and varied. I also love that they offer a chef's tasting menu (for $79 with an additional wine pairing for $40), which is a great way to try a lot of their menu if you're with a smaller group! Their beverage program is also great. I'm obsessed with their Cece's Martini (Stoli, blue cheese olives, and "filthy olive juice"), but their wine list is wonderful as well. The restaurant is gorgeous and has great ambiance. It's upscale but still comfortable. Some people definitely dress up for a meal at Cece's, but you can still dress comfortably. The restaurant has a fantastic outside space (heaters, couches, an outdoor bar, TVs playing sports), which I hope doesn't close for winter! It would be a great place to watch a football game while enjoying some great wine. The service is great, too. During both dinners, all of the staff were friendly and helpful and added to a great experience. So good food, good drinks, good service, good vibes! I'm sure I'll be back many times in the future!

Yelp
I'm impressed. This place gives swanky, mafioso meet-up spot vibes. It's dimly lit and the servers all wear a similar attire. Totally unexpected from the outside. It's my birthday dinner! We were seated immediately upon arrival at a nice cloth-covered table set with a small globe lamp. It was perfection, actually. My partner ordered a smoked old fashion, and I ordered an espresso martini. You could smell the old fashion a mile away. That's her thing; she loves them, and this one topped her list. My martini was as good as an espresso martini can be. Yummy! Our server was attentive and gave recommendations when asked. The ambiance was chill, romantic, and the decor was old-school modern chic. We both ordered roasted octopus (we love octopus). For the main dish, I had mushroom risotto, and she had mezze rigatoni. The roasted octopus was a first for me. It was served differently than it is normally served, but I did enjoy it. It was served with garbanzo beans, tomatoes, and a very fresh green chermoula. It tasted very fresh (a bit citrusy; I couldn't put my finger on the flavor). OMG, the mushroom risotto was divine! I ate the entire dish. It was layered in flavor with some puffed wild rice. Mushrooms are yet another love of mine. The combination of mushrooms and manchego..... yum! It was so satisfying. My partner loved her dish as well. It looked very rich. It was a lovely dinner and we'll definitely be back for more.

Yelp
Our waitress made this one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. I am upset that I do not recall her name.

Yelp
Let's get into Cece's Roland Park for a moment! This place is giving 10/10 and we are obsessed ! From the moment you step in the ambiance is a vibe and one that you have to experience for yourself! Last month my sister and I went for a little Girls night and we were not disappointed! The staff were extremely friendly and gave great recommendations. I would suggest making reservations if you are gonna do dinner here on a Friday or Saturday as it does get busy! The food was better than I could have imaged. I would say the menu is a little bit of new American meets Italian. My meal highlights would be the pizza specifically the spicy pepperoni, the gem salad and the pasta! I left dreaming of this meal! I think Cece's is a great place for a slightly elevated dinner with family or friends. A elegant happy hour or brunch! Can't wait to go back and continue to explore their menu!

Yelp
Best restaurant I've gone to in awhile! Fun atmosphere, amazing food, and great drinks. Huge space for small or large groups. Can't wait to try the outside space in warmer weather!

Yelp
An amazing, new upscale restaurant in Baltimore. While the menu first appears to be small and a little different, the food is incredible. The waitress graciously explained many menu items as they had fancy names but are truly normal entrees. Food was incredible, staff was really nice and the restaurant is absolutely beautiful!
google avatar

Trevor T.

Yelp
Good food and excellent deals if you ask your server or bartender. Ambiance is very nice and clean and again the food is excellent. Batbacks? Whaaat? Not sure what use if but ok. Worth a date night for sure.

Yelp
A friend and I walked in without a reservation yesterday evening and were immediately greeted and seated. The restaurant was beautiful, spacious, and well decorated. We ordered the burrata as an appetizer to share and found it to be incredibly fresh and tasty. I ordered the gnocchi while my friend opted for the mezze rigatoni and a side of broccolini as our entrees. Both dishes were delicious and well-seasoned. We ended our meal with the chocolate and hazelnut cake that was one of the best things that I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The service at this restaurant was top notch. My water glass was constantly being refilled, plates were being cleared, and our server and other members of the team were checking in. Some of the menu items are pricier, but all in all, the impeccable service that you receive, ambiance, and the freshness of the food make up for that in my opinion.
google avatar

Erica R.

Yelp
Nice establishment. Customer service was cool. I didn't enjoy my salmon, it was undercooked. Broccolini was ok. Cool for an one time experience.

Yelp
5 stars all around! My significant other and I stumbled upon this restaurant accidentally, and I'm so glad we did! Words may not do it justice but here goes... The first thing I noticed as we were seated was the classy decor and the serene ambiance. We were seated in the outdoor patio, which is centered around some cute little shops. The trees are lit up, there is a fire pit...I don't know how they managed it but they created an oasis inside of Baltimore. 5 stars for the ambiance! Our meal began with the house focaccia -- with its well-balanced flavors including salt, olive oil, garlic, and cheese, it was hands down one of the best focaccias we have tasted. For our entrees, we decided to take the recommendation of our wonderful server and ordered the short rib agnolotti and the rotolo. The short rib was cooked to perfection -- tender, flavorful, wrapped in al dente pasta and served with a savory sauce. The Rotolo was a much bigger portion, definitely big enough for two, with delicious creamy Caciocavallo cheese. 5 stars for the food! And last but not least, the service. From the minute we walked in, the hostess and servers were warm and welcoming. Our hostess was incredibly attentive, and also gave us great recommendations! We were in a bit of a time crunch and our server honored our requests- she was efficient, brought the check over early, and made sure our leftovers were packed up for us quickly. 5 starts for the service! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

Yelp
All I'll say is Short Rib! The food was amazing and the service and vibe was un matched. I can't wait to go back! 10/10!

Yelp
"I've been looking forward to trying Cece's. The food was delicious, the ambiance was elegant and cozy, great for a date night. Our server was wonderful!

Yelp
My first time at Cece's of Roland Park, and now I FINALLY understand all the hype. The atmosphere and service gave the restaurant a very classy feel along with a beautiful patio. The service was great too! But more importantly, the food. We had the clam linguine as I heard it was highly recommended, and it was incredible. But the pizzas were the star of the show. We had the pepperoni bolognese and the sausage and pesto pizza. We sat in the main dining room, there is also Cece's kitchen within the restaurant which was where the delicious pizzas were made and served from. Also loved the branzino and the veal chop. Go for the Velvet hour as a cocktail. Overall a delightful and delicious experience! Very much looking forward to going back, no special occasion needed.

Yelp
From the beginning we didn't feel welcomed - our table wasn't ready and they were talking at the host stand and didn't explain to us. We finally were invited into the bar when I asked if there was a problem, 15 minutes into waiting for our table. The restaurant was way too loud! You couldn't hear each other at our table! It was our anniversary and that wasn't acknowledged! The managers had no control over anything and didn't care! The food was fair at best- I have an onion allergy and I asked what was in the salad / he never mentioned onions and it came full of onions! I asked for the branzini to be prepped without the onions and it came plain with all onions on the side! The veal chop was raw and the scallops were fair. One fish came and it was cold. Overall, I wouldn't recommend or return!

J S.

Yelp
We went there with high expectations but were underwhelmed by the overall experience. Service was good and the restaurant itself is beautiful. We liked the range of dishes on menu. The food was pretty average, though. The roasted carrots we got to share were undercooked and practically raw and the mushroom risotto was also undercooked. I'm inclined to give this place another chance but the kitchen needs to improve on execution.

Aileen H.

Yelp
I haven't enjoyed a dinner experience this much in YEARS! Cece's checks all of the boxes. From the moment you walk in, the hostesses greet you like you've just come home. Honorably mention to Carmen. The decor is elegant yet cozy, making this the perfect spot for all seasons. I sat at the bar, where John Michael and Tim gave outstanding and detailed recommendations about cocktails and wine pairings. Even during the dinner rush, they were so attentive, and even the assistant manager Nauman came by the help or check on us throughout the evening. Lastly, the food. Oh my god, the food. The complimentary chili oil and Parmesan bread was phenomenal. The flavors of the Wagyu tartare and octopus were magical. The scallops and filet were better than any I've ever had at any Atlas Group Restaurant. Cece's is the place to go!

Amanda S.

Yelp
Atmosphere 5/5, service 5/5, food 3/5 Such a beautiful place with stunning decor. A little Great Gatsby mixed with modern elegance. Service is kind, attentive and knowledgeable. The food fell flat. The burrata was good, but had more tomatoes and cucumbers than actual burrata. The corn soup was the star of the show. The gnocchi was bland and tastes like butter. The short rib agnolotti was ok, but the sauce was a bit over powering. I'm happy we got to visit and be fancy. Maybe next time we will try Cece's Kitchen instead.
google avatar

Danielle H.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this restaurant! My suggestions: - Burrata - Violet Artichoke - Short Rib Pasta - Ricotta Gnocchi - Panna Cotta ( if you like s'mores then you will love this) The service was excellent ( I can't remember the bartenders name but our waitress, Piper, was so sweet and very helpful)! The decor and ambience was everything. Great spot in Baltimore for date night or a girls dinner.

Scott D.

Yelp
Uneven. Pretty space but big and very loud. Great start with tasty focaccia delivered to the table. Trendy menu with all the currently en vogue choices -- burrata, oysters, amaro after dinner. Not very original - kind of copycat. Pizza was very good. Burrata salad ho hum. They screwed up one order royally and apologized but did nothing to make amends - leaving us feeling not great.

Marcy F.

Yelp
Way way too LOUD. ! Then my food was cold. Plate was hot ,food cold. The veal chop at our table was raw. Service was good. Disappointed. Pretty restaurant. Salad came full of onions after server was informed of onion allergy. Enough said.

Yelp
Incredible experience at Cece's! We went on a very busy Saturday night so service was a little slow at first. The managers took notice and sent us a delicious pizza "on the house" to snack on. They also sent out the most amazing focaccia doused in truffle butter....my husband loved it so much he asked for some to go. Our server, Jonathan was so kind and great at explaining each item we ordered--flavor profiles and how it's prepared. The beef tartare was easily the best we've ever had (and we try and get beef tartare anywhere that it's offered!). My husband and I also split the short rib pasta which was very good and perfectly Al dente. We went out to the beautiful outdoor bar for espresso martinis before heading home And loved the ambiance and the service. We will definitely be back!

Michael B.

Yelp
This chef really knows how to use a bacon stretcher. Stretched to perfection. Bowl of steam was served at the perfect temperature. The bagagaloop special was as advertised. Chef's blo-hum was the perfect finisher for the meal. Chef was a bit shorter than I expected for a celebrity chef but was cheerie as a cherry. Kudos

Chloe S.

Yelp
I was unbelievably disappointed and disgusted with my dining experience. The food was mediocre, particularly at its steep price point. I found the restaurant to be uncomfortably loud. While we were eating our meal, we were horrified to see a MOUSE run past our table! Definitely not appetizing.

Toby G.

Yelp
Beautiful place. Front desk was disorganized, no greeting. Very off putting. Nice waiter. Drinks were slow to come. Never asked if we wanted another round. Food. I found the flavors to be off. Gem salad looked great. I love salads but I didn't like the flavoring. The avocado and pieces of blue cheese in a bland dressing didn't work. I had to ask for pepper and put a lot on the salad to give it flavor. . Pizza was great except a the blobs of buratta on every slice does nothing for me. Gnocchi - flavors didn't work for me. Very strong sage flavor, I had enough after a taste. The description sounded great with mushrooms and butter but the sage overpowered it. The pizza was a good size, the gnocchi portion was small. Sort of like the old joke/ The food was terrible and the portions were too small. The food wasnt terrible, but I just didn't really enjoy it except for the pizza minus the buratta blob. We would go back for pizza, underwhelmed by the food. It's just not very good.

Sue C.

Yelp
Went for dinner on Christmas Eve. The food was wonderful. Probably some of the best I have had in a while. The waitress staff was also amazing during a very busy chaotic evening. However what I didn't like is that I was not seated in the fine dining restaurant but next door in their casual restaurant right next to the noisy kitchen. When I asked to be seated in the dining room I was told they were booked out. No kidding. I booked the reservation about a month ago. It was a disappointing start to the evening. The room we were in had no atmosphere, was noisy and didn't look like a fine dining establishment. When you are paying over $100 a person you expect to be seated in the actual restaurant.

Yelp
love the vibes here. Greg is an amazing waiter with great menu recs. nice to go out to dinner and have the full experience without any hiccups. go to Cece's and ask for Greg!
google avatar

Alan B.

Yelp
The service was fantastic and the pizza was excellent. The meatballs were delicious too. We wanted to sit at the bar only to find out that you cannot order pizza at the bar. If I can go to the Prime Rib and have a hamburger at the bar, there's no reason why this restaurant cannot serve me pizza at the bar. We ended up eating on the casual side because as I said we wanted pizza. The walls are decorated with giant photographs of the local private schools. I find this to be ridiculous considering the area is also surrounded by wonderful public schools. How pretentious can this place be? I don't think I need to go back. The highlight of the evening was the new ice cream place that opened up nearby.

Rebel P.

Yelp
First and foremost, Arlene is AMAZING!!! Super knowledgable on wine and pizza and both were delicious thanks to her recommendations!!! She made a new experience SO MUCH FUN. This is our second time here, but our first Saturday "DATE NIGHT". When we came in, the hostess was sweet but the inside bar was a bit crowded. We decided to go to outdoor bar. That's where Arlene turned our night around. She is AMAZING AT HER JOB and we will come back.

Corea M.

Yelp
Hate that I have to give it 3 stars , Beautiful space inside and out. Loved the uniform look of the staff , the outside was a great conversation space to just chill and chat , but the food and menu needs some work . For a big establishment like this they have to have a little more variety and choice options for the not so fancy food eaters like my husband.

Hamilton S.

Yelp
Food was amazing, and Gregory, our waiter, went above and beyond. Vibes were great, and a wonderful place to celebrate l.

Betsy M.

Yelp
Very underwhelming. Expected a lot more having read other reviews. We sat in the kitchen area. The service was absolutely terrible. Our server was nice enough, but that's as far as it went. After getting our first drinks, she never asked if we wanted anything else. Couldn't even get more water. When our entrees came, we had to ask to have our appetizer plates, etc. cleared. Then they just moved the dirty dishes to the empty table next to us. Asked for salt and pepper. Never got it. The food was mediocre at best. The lamb ragout pasta was lukewarm. Will definitely not be returning. Not worth it. There are SO many other places I would go first!
google avatar

Laura G.

Yelp
Delicious and a great time! Cool vibe and aesthetic, and our server was super nice and attentive.

Jacinda N.

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit...ambiance, food and service were all EXCELLENT! We were seated outside and had an amazing dinner experience. A couple of highlight dishes for us were the Roasted Octopus, Carpaccio, Gnocchi and the Short Ribs. ENJOY!
google avatar

Kelly J.

Yelp
Food was absolutely awful. Bad tasting food in very small portions with high high prices and poor to no service. Food does not taste good and not cooked properly. It takes hours

David C.

Yelp
My wife and I dined here last night and it was absolutely incredible. Not sure how Ceces has bad reviews but we've dined all across Baltimore and for us this category is on the same level as the Rec Pier Chop House, The Food Market, Clavel, and Foraged, etc. The corn soup with crab was phenomenal, as well as the short rib pasta, and we elected to go with the lighter fish (Branzino). If you're an oysters fan - that was an incredible starter as well. While the courses could be timed out a little better the overall spread was very good. I've seen a few posts that said portions are smaller but our waiter had explained that prior so no surprise there, and the experience is meant to be multiple dishes shared and set as courses with tons of variety. The sizes are consistent with European dishes. Overall the service was excellent, they recommended a phenomenal bottle of Italian red to pair with our courses. I would highly recommend Cece's (regardless of the recent reviews) and find out for yourself!

Yelp
I dined at Cece's for the 2nd time in a week with an out-of-town friend. Her surprise visit presented the perfect opportunity for another perfect dining experience at Cece's! She was very impressed with the local photos of Baltimore architecture, and the sophisticated yet cozy atmosphere. My goal was to try something different on the menu and I was mostly successful. I did not hesitate to order the smoked old fashioned, my cocktail of choice, and was not disappointed. My friend was equally impressed with the Italian Greyhound. We shared the burrata which is my favorite. Because I knew that our main course portions would be more than adequate, I reluctantly passed on the corn soup (another favorite). I selected the Branzino filet and my friend selected the Wagyu striploin with sides of the broccolini and potato rosti. We cleaned our plates, but unfortunately did not have room for dessert! Instead we capped off our meal with a delicious cup of coffee. From arrival to departure, the staff was warm and welcoming. Their professionalism and knowledge of the menu made our dining experience one to remember and repeat!

Yelp
We went with a very large group of family. We only ordered drinks. We asked for separate checks and she even wrote all our orders down separately. However at the end of the night, not only did she lump it all together, but she lumped it all together on one bill to get 20% tip included, then neglected to tell us, so we tipped another 20% and didn't catch it until after we had paid. Then, when comparing bills to a few other family members who were able to get a separate check, we see we were double charged for items. I went back the next day and the manager said he would have to talk to accounting and he would get back to me. 2 emails later, not a word from him. I will never go back and would never suggest it. Now I have to spend time disputing the charge with Amex. Terrible experience!

Yelp
Glad to see Cross keys making a come back . This is a great restaraunt for the area . Food reflects the Michelin rated chef . Our server Greg was well versed on the food and had great suggestions for wine pairings . if you want a restaraunt with a great vibe and food to match , CeCes will not disappoint .

Yelp
This is more than a restaurant, this is an experience. The glamorous outdoor lounge with its modern sofas and fire pits , with its bar in the middle, impeccably dressed, professional, and friendly staff, serving amazing cocktails, and gourmet dishes, the live music...all to make you feel like you are in an exotic resort away from everything. Finally, a place to chill in Baltimore, safe, easy to park, upscale and warm. My favorite; the whiskey sours, the grilled octopus, the oysters, the crab bisque, the salad... This coming from a Parisian enjoying the art of living.

Yelp
This was our first time visiting Cece's and we were absolutely thrilled with the experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is very classy and inviting. Our waiter Greg was wonderful! His knowledge of the menu and suggestions were phenomenal. Some of my favorite items were the corn soup, burrata, and the short rib ravioli. This is a try dining experience! Enjoyable, well paced, and some of the best food you will ever taste! Make the visit to Cece's you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Came with my team and everything was wonderful! We had the corn soup, waygu meatballs, Bolognese pizza, and Chicken Milanese . Our server Grigoriy "Grig" was so lovely and gave us the full experience! The drinks were crafted well also! The ambience was beautiful. We would for sure return.

Yelp
Services is a little slow, but I'm going to chalk that up to being a new restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing. THE BREAD, corn soup, octopus, and gnocchi all stood out. The bread is doused in a truffle situation making it a perfect start to the meal. The corn soup tasted of fresh light sweet corn with fluffy pieces of grab meat. The octopus was perfectly tender, which is really hard to do correctly. And of course, it's really hard to mess up gnocchi, but it was fantastic.

Yelp
Our server, Gregory, was wonderful and the outdoor seating was lovely. The food was good. Annoying that there are two restaurants here - Cece's Roland Park and Cece's Kitchen - but you can only reserve a table at Roland Park and it's really unclear which outdoor seating is for which restaurant. They make it really confusing and we are not likely to want to show up and hope to get a good table outside.

Yelp
Cece's is stunning. Outdoor courtyard is like nothing else in Baltimore. The pastas are my favorites, but the roasted chicken is not to be missed! Server made great recommendations. Can't wait to go back
