Cecilia's On Hay Tapas Restaurant & Accommodation

Stayed here for two nights, rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. We ate in the in-house restaurant on one night. All of the tapas that we ordered was delicious, my favorite was the mixed seafood in tomato concasse. Service was really efficient, the manager Drew and his staff were all friendly and helpful. Highly recommend both the motel and the restaurant.

We stayed a few weeks here in 'Leigh's apartment'. The place was super clean, had everything you could ask for including a washer/dryer, fully functional kitchen, comfortable bed. Drew and Gail are awesome folks, super accommodating and fun to hang out and have a chat and beer with. We would highly recommend people stay here! Enjoyed a night out at the tapas restaurant too. :)

Fantastic vibe and delicious food! I was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience that Cecilia’s on Hay provided. The owner is incredibly friendly and the setting is delightful. We trialled 6 menu items and his homemade red sangria. Very impressed with everything and will be recommending to all that visit or stay in Kalgoorlie and surrounds. I will be returning for sure! 10/10.

Delicious little dishes, all made from scratch with generous lashings of special sauces. Stand outs for me were the saffron Morton Bay bugs, pork in Chef's caramel sauce (special), pork belly and chicken parmigiana balls. Service was fun and attentive and recommendations were spot on. We loved the nice touches around the place including art, beautiful crockery and stylish comfy chairs. Very much enjoyed our evening.

My wife and our friends had the pleasure of dining here last night, even if I use every superlative that I know it would still not give this establishment enough credit. The meal was everything that I have always wanted in a Restaurant with such a range and selection to please even the most discerning palate. If you have only a small appetite this place is perfect, conversely if you have a huge appetite you will not come away hungry, in short it caters for everyone, something that À la carte restaurants fail to deliver. The wait staff cannot be praised enough on their diligence, of course having the owner being part of that staffing it is what you would expect. But the staff were continually coming past and asking if we needed anything they made a great evening and awesome one. We now have a new favourite, one that we will be frequenting often in the future

I'm sure that Kalgoorlie has many interesting hotels and accommodation but Cecilia's on Hay used to be the 181 Hay in its more notorious days. Now converted to cater for discerning travellers this place has, in some of the bedrooms, maintained the theme of its history. Comfortable bed and best sleep I had in a long time. If you want to know any more "Just Book It" and see for yourself They don't do breakfasts but if you have the tapas in the evening you wont be looking for breakfast. Gail prepares the most elegant and delicious dishes, all at very reasonable prices, whilst Andrew keeps you jovial and convivial with his pleasant and friendly demeanour

Had a great night out courtesy of Andrew, Gail and their friendly crew. Classy venue - great night out dining on tasty tapas delights, classy cocktails, top shelf spirits and classy vino all at an affordable price. Dress to impress and join in the fun.

Restaurant Review - was invited for a function, tables were placed almost directly in front of the speakers for the nights entertainment - a musician playing popular songs. No one at either table could talk without almost shouting. Several people found what appeared to be fragments of glass in their meal. When the person in charge was approached, he explained that it was in fact just salt, but did it in a way as to make us feel stupid for asking. The whole night was not a good experience.
