Wow, what a hidden gem.
Travelling back to northern NB from Fundy Provincial Park, we stumbled upon the Cedar Cafe while searching for a character lunch (and boy, did we find it). Winding backroads, rolling hills and beautiful agricultural land will lead you to the Cornhill Nursery, home of the Cedar Cafe.
Friendly staff, tasty food and a truly unique ambiance, the Cedar Cafe was a pleasant surprise. We indulged in a brie and tapenade appetizer, followed by a half pastrami sandwich - would recommend the homemade rye bread - and carrot-dill soup, and finished off with a slice of traditional carrot cake.
Would highly recommend to anyone travelling through southern New Brunswick. You will not regret!
