Houston’s 16 Hottest Cocktail Bars, July 2024

"This Heights locale in the neighborhood’s east side is a regular spot for nearby families and friend groups alike. Leaning into the galactic themes that have shaped Space City, enjoy interstellar artwork on the restaurant’s walls while digging into burgers, hefty plates of nachos, and a cocktail menu that pays homage to the city. Consider the William P. Hobby, its Irish interpretation of the Paper Plane cocktail, or the “409,” a Galveston approach to New Orleans’ hurricane." - Brittany Britto Garley, Kayla Stewart

"A Laid-Back, Hill Country Place People love the inclusive, hill country (i.e., Austin -like) vibe of Cedar Creek. It has a solid food menu, wide selection of beers, and refreshing frozen cocktails. The Frozen Mimosas are a brunch must, or if you're there later in the day, go for a Country Ass Tea. Photo via Cedar Creek Facebook page"

Google
a chill place to hangout. they have food but i cant really comment on it bc i only got nachos. the service is pretty fast and when it's a slow day it's such a relaxing spot to catch up with a friend or read a book or such. it's very laid back. during the busy hours however it gets really busy, packed, no spots to sit, parking is difficult... just a heads up!

Google
My family and I come here occasionally for special days and they always have great food and easy to find seating! I got the potato taco and empanadas and they were 10/10!! The only reason I put 4 stars is because we had to wait inside for 30minutes to place our order… Other than that this is a great place to bring your family and friends!❤️

The food was pretty good, though not quite what we expected. The outdoor seating had a great vibe at night. We ordered the avocado burger and the salmon salad — the salad was decent.

Great salads. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good for groups or social meet ups. Seems kid friendly - frequently see kids playing by the creek.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Place is a joke. Cousin of mine got a straight raw Nashville hot chicken sandwich and their “comp” was refunding the sandwich and 1 free drink. This is unacceptable and avoid this place. Terrible service and handling of the whole situation. Very unprofessional. Wild. I also paid for all this. Never again unless management wants to be responsible to properly address this issue.

If you’re looking for a laid-back spot in Houston with great vibes, solid food, and a killer patio, Cedar Creek Bar & Grill is the place to be. I’m here now, and like every time I come, it never gets old. The atmosphere is unbeatable—whether you’re here for brunch, happy hour, or just to kick back with a drink, it always delivers. The outdoor seating is the highlight, with its spacious setup, cozy fire pits, and a relaxed, rustic feel. It’s the perfect place to chill, catch up with friends, or just enjoy the Houston weather. The food? Always on point. From their burgers to their queso and everything in between, you can’t go wrong. And let’s not forget the drinks—cold beers, solid cocktails, and a selection that keeps me coming back. I come here all the time, and every visit is just as good as the last. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Cedar Creek is one of those places that feels like home the moment you walk in. Anyone else a regular here? What’s your go-to order?

Cedar Creek is such a welcoming spot to spend quality time with friends and family. As you pull into the parking lot and stroll down the charming little bridge toward the main building, you can already feel the warmth of the place. There’s plenty of outdoor and indoor seating to choose from, and on a lovely breezy day, the outdoor area feels especially inviting. However, during the sweltering summer months in Houston, the spacious indoor area is a comfortable refuge. You can easily order food and drinks at the bar, which adds to the convenience. I recently brought my mom here for her first visit, and it was heartwarming to see how much she enjoyed herself. She savored a delicious frozen peach Bellini, and it brought such a smile to her face. Although we didn’t get a chance to try the food during this visit, the kindness of the bartender, Ricky, truly touched us. His friendly demeanor helped make our experience even more enjoyable. Overall, our time at Cedar Creek was genuinely delightful, and I can’t wait to return again. It holds a special place in our hearts.

Cedar Creek, a Cafe, Bar, and Grill, located at 1034 W 20th St, is a visually entertaining place to be seen. Being my 1st time here, it's a bit of a challenge to comprehend at first. I arrived at 4:45 pm and walked into the establishment through the front door. The place at first was dark, but just needed for my eyes to adjust. Being a cafe, bar, and grill, I didn't know what to expect at first. There was no hostess and no sign to indicate to help yourself to a seat. I walked further into the interior and found many tables reserved for a group party. After finding an open table, I sat down and waited for the wait staff. While waiting, I noticed that there were only 2 barmaids working the Bar. I also notice a couple of staff members running food orders to tables. Although several of these employees locked eyes with me, no one came to offer any service. After watching the crowd grow, I started to see the function on how this establishment runs. Thus, after 10 minutes of waiting, this is what I noticed. So for you first-timers, like myself, Grab a menu, wait in line at the bar, place your order (if ordering food, they'll give you a number on a stand), then find a seat. Sadly, I noticed that quite a few people would place their drink order, wait there at the bar for the drinks to be made and then stay there and drink their drinks; all while others are trying to place their own orders. Thus creating chaos, as some people were skipped over, who were waiting. I noticed others leaving, just because of no consistency in placing orders, in an organized manner. I don't know if they are short staffed, but when you have guests trying to figure out where the line starts or ends, where to place your order, etc... this shows poor management, organization skills. After I placed my order, I was rung up for my order and asked if I wanted to keep an "Open Tab?" I declined, so the bar made closed my order to be closed. Something I don't like is being asked for a tip on a receipt when you haven't even been served or provided any food. However to avoid this, you need to keep an open tab. After signing my receipt, I was again confused. I ordered a Fountain Drink to which I was not provided. The barmaid just kept moving on to the next customers. That's when I noticed the Wait Staffs Serving Station in the corner. As it turns out, the fountain drinks are self-served and on a paid, Honor System. Directly on the opposite side are the straws and condiments. As for my order, I had decided on the Thursday Night Special, which happens to be Steak Night. Sadly, neither on the board or the menu does it specify what it all curtails. So I had to ask, when placing my order. I was told that it consisted of: a 16 oz Steak with a Garlic Butter Sauce, Mashed Potatoes, and Asparagus, all for $27.°°. I also decided to order a side Salad. As far as salads go, the Side Salad was delicious. It had Lettuce, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, shredded Carrots, and Red Onions, with your choice of Salad Dressing. The Mashed Potatoes were good, but I would have liked to have some Butter for it. So I used the Garlic Butter Sauce from the steak, for the Mashed Potatoes. Topped on the Mashed Potatoes was Cheddar Cheese and Bacon Bits. The Asparagus was perfectly cooked and flavored. The best I've had in a long time. As for the Steak... It was definitely not worth buying. It was a poor quality cut of Beef. The fat, I can live with, but the Gristle... Try and be discreet and nonchalant while spitting that into a napkin several times; with a room of people looking on. As for the rest of the place, it was lively and festive. Plenty of outdoor sitting on the Pet Friendly Patio to enjoy with friends, family and/or pets. Despite my overall 1st time experience in dining here, I will definitely come back to see if they have improved their organization and staffing issues, as well as try their regular menu items. As busy as it was, that definitely has something to say for this place.

Yelp
This place is absolutely fantastic and definitely worth a visit! To begin with, their wings are incredible--perfectly cooked, flavorful, and some of the best I've had. The alcoholic drinks are just as amazing, with a wide selection that caters to every taste. It's also a great spot for brunch, offering a variety of dishes that make it a perfect choice for any time of the day. Moreover, the atmosphere is welcoming, and there's plenty of seating, which is a big plus. The outdoor seating is particularly nice, offering a comfortable and relaxing vibe for those who prefer dining outside. Whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a casual outing, this spot has you covered. In addition, while the experience was fantastic overall, it's worth noting that the parking situation is a bit limited. I'd recommend coming early to secure a spot, especially during peak hours. Also, keep in mind that you order everything at the counter, which may not be for everyone, but the efficiency of the staff makes the process smooth and easy. Furthermore, despite the minor inconveniences, this place truly delivers. The food, drinks, and ambiance make it a standout destination. I came here with a couple of friends, and we all had a great time. I really recommend giving this place a try--you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Food sucks, drinks are mid. Only thing going for it was the atmosphere and now with the aggressive towing that's going on you're likely to end up with a $300 tow bill at the end of the night regardless. Have been coming here for years but never again.
google avatar

Donna V.

Yelp
I've supported this establishment for years but the recent towing tactic is honestly disgusting and will without a doubt drive every customer away. After witnessing FOUR towing trucks circling around the lot pulling every single car, I couldn't shake off the uneasy feeling being a paying customer while sitting inside the bar. Every spots that has it going seems to always let customers down with some insane enforcement that could potentially ruin their revenue. Cedar Creek is now sitting at the top of my "banned from existence" list. Anxiety mixed in with your drink? No thanks, I'll spend my Saturday night elsewhere.
google avatar

Jando S.

Yelp
The key to enjoying Cedar Creek is to find parking early and bring / meet a bunch of friends to enjoy the open seating and rowdy environment. Service and crummy bathrooms will always be the sore spot, but as long as it's understood right away, this can be a pretty good venue to enjoy a few drinks and a few bites. Good weather is also key. The patio is vast with drunkards and dbaggery, but the good news is that it's so large that there are plenty of places to park a group. The drinks are always flowing with multiple indoor / outdoor bars with the latter being a bit limited on selection. If I need something simple like a beer, a shot, or a frozen drink, I can get what I want outside. If I need anything more complicated than this, then it's an inside (bar) job. The weekends, especially game days can make this place a cluster. The parking is one of the bigger challenges and the picnic tables can be a little gross at times, depending on who was sitting there previously. Always shoot for their happy hour, which on days like Mondays, is all day. The food can be a gamble, but if intoxicated all the burgers, nachos, fries, wings and frito pies will taste wonderful. To avoid any potential disappointment, I'd recommend knocking a few back before diving face first into any of the food.

Yelp
I really liked this place, I'm a sucker for big patios and this place offers that with so much seating! They also have a bunch of indoor seating which is convenient for when the weather isn't great. lol Parking here seems awful LOL (I get a lot of anxiety when I can't find parking) but luckily we found a spot right at the entrance, but be prepared to struggle with that. I really liked their tenders, they were super good, juicy and had good flavor. My boyfriend said their nachos were surprisingly pretty good too. Their drinks were bomb ngl the frozen mimosa was so yum! But I reallyyyyy liked their mojito, it was super refreshing! This is a nice lil spot to kick it with some friends and talk over drinks.(plus they had jenga at our table..EXTRA POINTS FOR THAT) Definitely will be coming back, the vibe was real nice.

Yelp
Super cute large patio!! Cute inside giving cabin fever. Steak Night on Thursday - asked for medium rare, definitely not could hear it still mooing "Feel like I'm eating steak, beef jerky, and gum all at the same time" Salad was delicious but GOT DAMN it was big asf.

Yelp
Loveeeee Cedar Creek. It's a very simple place but family and dog friendly! Food is fine and the drinks are good. It's also a great place for large parties! You order at the bar and they bring the food to you. Perfect place to hang out on a nice day!
google avatar

Yelp
Towing system in this area is UNFAIR and EXCESSIVE! We were here for not even 30 minutes and were towed. This is my second time getting towed in this area. NEVER AGAIN! If you plan on coming, be aware of where you park and for how long because these towing companies will drain you! DO BETTER CEDAR CREEK!
google avatar

Vickie P.

Yelp
We had mixed feelings about this one. It seemed to be a fun place to hang out. It had an outdoor vibe even on the inside. Flies and even a critter crawling on the order counter. That wasn't a great start . The place was busy and it was counter service. You get all your own stuff. The food was ok but it seems more a bar vibe than a food service place. Probably won't go back but it's more of a younger party hangout. They had a lot of outside seating and it is pup friendly. Give it a try, might be you're thing. On to the next place.

Yelp
Actually really surprised how good this hummus plate is . Very healthy option ! of course watching astros game wish they would play the sound instead of music but all good

Yelp
I was next to order. placed my order, bartender got the beer glasses, and then a young woman came up and started asking the him about mixed drinks. he blew me off to talk to her and got out a glass to make her drink (hadn't paired my beers yet) until I got his attention. He gave me a look of death and then he poured my beers, but kept laughing and talking to the girl. Very disrespectful
google avatar

Michael G.

Yelp
Beware this place is a parking scam, came here to eat one night and my car was towed ‍ this place is not worth the hassle of eating it when they'll just potentially make more money off towing your vehicle ‍‍
google avatar

Katrina C.

Yelp
Ordering process can get kinda stressful because there are no real lines, but the staff is very patient. Food came out extremely quick. The chips on my chilaquiles had lost all their crunch so it was a little underwhelming. Still flavorful though. The patios are is always perfect so Sunday football. Plenty of TVs and seating.
google avatar

Kalia A.

Yelp
You know I loved the vibes. They played really great music and had good bartenders but things were all over the place. My order got misplaced and people were often confused. The quality of the food is not worth the price but I do like the variety of the menu. I was not able to get pictures of all the meals due to how hectic it was it was but I'll still provide my ratings based on our experience: *Mango Mimosa - 3/5 *Watermelon Frozen Cocktail - 4/5 *Crawfish - 4/5 (they charge for the seasoning and the butter!!!). The sausage was the most expensive and it was low quality and a no go for me :/ *Elote Quesadilla - 5/5 *Chips & Queso - 5/5 *Side House Salad - 5/5
google avatar

Yelp
These guys must be getting a kickback from the nearby towing company. The trucks circle like VULTURES; patrons and barhoppers alike are getting towed. Counting the days until this business goes under.

Hannelore M.

Yelp
Predatory Towing! They must be getting a cut from a sketchy private towing company. do not go to this restaurant or park in their parking lot!!
google avatar

Leonard T.

Yelp
Car got towed while at the establishment. Had to take pics of my receipt and my bank statement after they told me I was lying for being at the restaurant. Giant parking lot and people pissed off everywhere for the same situation we were in. I get that there are bars around the area but they have this practice down the wrong way. Will not ever return here after tonight regardless of the food or drinks.

Josh M.

Yelp
They are getting paid by the towing companies to hide their signs in the parking lot saying you cant park there without any lights on it either. They know they run a dead bar no one goes to and think they can make their money back from the towing. Do not give this place business.
google avatar

Kayla N.

Yelp
Every time I've driven by Cedar Creek, I always comment on how nice it looks with their outdoor lights and finally decided to stop in with my friend. As the weather wasn't great when we stopped, we sat inside which was decorated for halloween with lights and witches hats all over the sealing - loved it! You have to order at the bar so we made our way there. I asked about a couple of the cocktails and the bartender didn't sound to confident on them being a good choice so we kept it simple and decided to start with two beers (two different beers) and some frickles (fried pickles). As the menu looked great, we planned to order dinner as well but figured we'd start with the app and order the meals later. We sat down at a small little table with our beers and waited for the frickles order. As soon as we took a sip of our beers, we both commented on how flat the beer was. With them being different beers... that wasn't a great start. After that, the frickles came and I was disappointed as they were heavy on the breading and not great. The frickles were definitely edible and "good" but not a menu item I'd recommend or order again. With the beers being flat and the frickels being meh, we decided to close out and eat dinner elsewhere.
google avatar

Steve J.

Yelp
Good food, great drinks, fun atmosphere. Recommend country ass tea frozen but the beer selection is solid. Came here after the last hurricane and was so glad they had power. Make sure the creek don't rise on ya.
google avatar

Yelp
I came here 2 or 3 times a while back and really enjoyed it. A few nights ago after our company Christmas party, I suggested we go here for drinks and to continue the night. There was going to be a little over a dozen of us. Me and my buddy arrived about 20 min before the others and decided to walk over to Roast & Brew so that he could grab a coffee for the rest of the night. In the 15 min that it took us to grab the coffee, they had ALREADY towed my car. What was about to be a wonderful rest of the night turned into a $300 tow and $2000 worth of damage (destroyed one of my rims somehow??). I absolutely cannot believe that this happened. I hope the small % kickback they get from the towing company was worth the dozen bar tabs they lost out on.
google avatar

Cynthia V.

Yelp
Great patio and indoor space that sprawls between 19th and 20th, so plenty of space for you and your group. They have a nice selection of food, beers on tap, frozen cocktails, and otherwise full-service bar, so will suit your needs for a nice leisurely lunch, happy hour, or night out. Large parking lot, but not nearly large enough to fit everyone if they are at capacity, so otherwise use street or paid parking nearby.
google avatar

C A.

Yelp
**DOG FRIENDLY** Large outside sitting area. Readable prices. Friendly atmosphere. Nachos are good!

Carolyn Clare H.

Yelp
I truly enjoyed this restaurant until I was towed out of their parking lot. They have tow trucks circling like vultures and will tow even paying customer. Unfortunately, I will never return here and support this establishment with my money and I will be telling all my friends and family to follow suit. Good businesses get good business, and sad to learn this is not a good business.
google avatar

Tri D.

Yelp
After an underwhelming experience at bungalow heights with their raw wings & subpar drinks, the group decided to walk over to cedar creek to end the night. This spot has a lot of outdoor seating & a decent amount of it on the inside. The service that was provided was exceptional compared to bungalow & so was the food. I decided to order a Jack & coke & some lemon pepper wings. My drink was more Jack than coke which was perfect because I hate watered down drinks. The lemon pepper wings were a little over fried but I rather that than some undercooked wings. The wings had a lot of lemon pepper flavor as well. The fries were seasoned nicely. Overall it was a good experience. It's a good spot to hang out with friends. The vibes were on point from our bartenders. Will I come back? You bet I will.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Owners are now towing cars if you like to bar hop. There's other bars around cedar and if you even think about parking at cedar then going to other bars after they will tow.
google avatar

Lena S.

Yelp
Do Not Go! You will spend more on rigged towing than you will on bar tab and that is even if you are parking in "customer" parking on the street.
google avatar

Yelp
I came here a few weeks ago, about 20 days or so ago according to a review I left for another nearby spot. I should've left my review much sooner than this. I should've left my review much sooner than this to leave a public safety warning. Let me first say it had nothing at all to do with Cedar Creek but there was a bonafide creeper out that night. An unhinged older pervy white guy with long wild looking hair, he wore a black tshirt and long blue jean shorts. He sat right behind my friend at the bench behind us and in direct eyesight of me, not at all far from me and just stared at me, grinning as if he was waiting to abduct me and carry me off in a mini van. I swear he never even blinked. It was utterly creepy and disgusting. We were sitting outside. It was pretty quiet/dead with one, maybe two other small parties sitting outside as well. The outside patio area is pretty massive and my friend and I were on one side and the other party/ies were sitting in different sides of the patio as the one we were on. I regret not going inside to tell the employees about the outdoor creeper. It was kinda difficult though bc I would've had to walk by him to get inside. I say all this to say, ladies, I'd strongly recommend going here in a larger group or with a guy you'd feel safe with particularly at night. It's too easy for a creeper to lurk, bother and god forbid assault you. I would feel much more comfortable coming here if Cedar Creek had a security guard guarding their outdoor patio area at night. With all this said, i would return but with a large party, at an earlier hour (if not with a large party) or with a male whom I trust. About the service, a very nice guy, I believe his name was Javier (it's been a while I might've gotten that wrong) took our order at the bar and was fun and super cool to chat with. Really wish I could've gotten to him to tell him about the perp that was outside. But anyway Javier, set a great tone taking my order with his welcoming fun vibe the moment my friend and I walked in. You order at the counter, they give you a number and bring you your food once it's done. If you're outside, no worries just have your number out on your table and they'll kindly bring it to you. I tried a friend's lemon pepper wings during a previous visit which is what prompted me to leave Bungalow Heights and head to Cedar Creek that night. They were crispy and perfectly seasoned. This time around, I ordered hot lemon pepper wings. I should've got the buffalo sauce on the side because it ruined the crispiness of my wings and made them super soggy. It also wasn't the best tasting buffalo sauce. Definitely noted this for next time. I also had a side of fries. The fries were as crisp and tasty as they were previously. All in all, I enjoyed my most recent visit and felt much more comfortable when the guys in our party rejoined my friend and I. When they arrived the creepy guy was still lurking around and I think the guys showing up finally scared him off. They let him know his perp behavior would not be tolerated. Lupe and others if you're reading this I appreciate y'all so much for that. Thank you! I can still see the guy's icky face and hair in my mind. Sorry to make this review about the creepy experience with the weirdo who was not at all employed by Cedar Creek. Just want to caution the ladies about it. Please know the Cedar Creek staff are great people and the food is tasty for bar fare if you order it right. Nice and convenient for a late night to please your belly before heading home or wherever you plan to stay that night ;). I also tried their cowboy burger bowl on a previous visit and that was a 10 out of 10. Fresh lettuce and veggies. The beef is seasoned very well and it tastes like it's cooked on an open flame. Very delish.

Yelp
I had a recent visit for a good friends birthday party and at the end of the night when I went to close out I was given a $430 tab that only $165 of it was mine. I told the bartender that it was incorrect and was told that people at the party was adding to my tab. I told the bartender that only me could charge up my account and of course that didn't happen. I even walked up to the bar to order and over heard someone say my name and the other bartender was adding to my tab. I asked him if he was verifying the name and he laughed, then I said that the name that was given was mine and it was not ok. They did not seem to give a shit that I said only me and it's strange how they just allow anyone to add to a tab without verification. I suggest making sure you keep that tab close. I told them I would call and dispute my bill which I did and the only response I kept getting was that the manager was sick and I called over and over for almost two weeks and never got a call back. My bank also didn't help so I just got fucked over by this place. Be aware of your tabs and don't expect any help from their management who I'm sure was not sick but more just ignoring my dispute!

Yelp
Flys were a problem outside (June 2024) 3.5 - chips and queso with fajita beef 3.0 - Chicken sandwhich, Nashville. 3.8 - Fries.

Yelp
Not a patron, nor will I ever be, due to the fact that they hired 4 towing companies to tow peoples cars in their lot. Was parked in their lot for LITERALLY ONLY 5 minutes to drop off some friends at the bar next door and go home to study. I made sure they got inside, and BAM car was gone. the two men they hired to tow cars were standing outside and laughing. I had actually been wanting to try this restaurant, but I've since gathered a taste of their classless etiquette. thank you for the wonderful experience, Cedar Creek. I won't be back!!
google avatar

Hayden M.

Yelp
Good took 45 minutes was cold they brought me 2 other orders. But otherwise it was cool the ambiance was fine and the food was cold but ok. Had to get to-go to warm up

Yelp
Lunch specials are great. Burgers have great flavor and the salads are pretty big. Moose Out

Hannah P.

Yelp
Writing in as another victim of their towing scam. Four different people showed up to the tow lot at the same time to pay the $300 fee. Avoid at all costs.

Heather W.

Yelp
Was here the other night and had my car towed. I guess they aren't getting enough business and have resorted to kickback from towing customers cars. Terrible restaurant. Do not recommend.

Sarah C.

Yelp
I used to really enjoy coming here but after tonight will never come here again, their new towing policy has really ruined it! Was drinking at their bar and my car still got towed.
google avatar

Jenny N.

Yelp
I've come here for steak night twice. The way it's cooked really varies depending on how busy it is but that steak always gonna hit. The garlic on top really adds to the flavor of the steak. They have plenty of options for drinks as well. Staff have always been helpful and friendly. Overall a fun place to hang out on a weeknight or weekend!

Cooper W.

Yelp
I went to this bar for the first time last night and got towed from their parking lot for some reason. There were only 5 people inside, and all of them were there because they had gotten towed as well. What a sketchy, weird place.

Yelp
Been here quite a few times over the years with friends and family. It's a great neighborhood bar mixed among the others on 20th St. It's one of the few locations with a huge parking lot. 20th street is currently closed for construction, so take 19th and Beall. You line up to order food and drinks. You get a number to take to your seat for a staff member to deliver it. They sometimes take a while walking around to find your number. The food is a little overpriced for what it is, but it tastes great. Their garlic parmesan wings were a favorite, but I found out they don't make that flavor anymore. The lemon pepper tonight was lackluster in flavor. Thank goodness for the ranch. The wings are a pretty decent size, but it's not as clean with a few feather strands. Can't do it. Lol. If you don't mind, that's on you. The elote fries are loaded with ground meat, cheese, corn, and roasted jalapeños which are spicy. Could use a little more corn considering it's elote. The white queso and spinach and artichoke dip are nice and cheesy. Perfectly paired with the tortilla chips. We love the plentiful patio seating out here. Can't go wrong. It's a nice place to hangout and catch a game. It's similar to Onion Creek on White Oak.

Yelp
I want to start by saying to food was non other then excellent. The customer service was top notch. Everything was going well until. I noticed that the table next to me had a dog sitting at the table. While we sat and ate our food, me and my wife noticed the dog jump down off the chair and piss on the floor. The customer then picked up the dog and then started to feed this dog with utensils that we the public have to use. I take very high offense the this . I will not be returning.

Yelp
Great bar with decent music and seating area. Crawfish season is on point with their seasonal deals and cold beers. Plenty of customers on a normal day with a great environment. Would recommend for an outdoor sit and talk session with friends and/or family.

Yelp
Y'all I love the food here. "It's bar food" and like yes but it's also so good. The fries are always a must. I usually order their cauliflower wings but tbh they changed something and they're not great now BUT they have delish sandwiches, they're chicken nuggets are pretty nice and most importantly- the best atmosphere. The vibes of all of the bars around this area are each so unique but this one is good for the elderly, toddlers, brunch. All of the things.

Yelp
Cedar Creek has become one of my favorite Sunday Funday spots, especially when the weather is nice out. It sits right up on the creek (which I assume is Cedar Creek), and has this really homey vibe to it. It has a massive deck with an outdoor bar area. Inside you got a large space with a full bar with plenty of seating. It's unique in that half the seats don't match. The bartenders are always on point with a great attitude as well. They have daily specials on food and drinks. One of my favorite things to get is one of their frozen concoctions. I am a sucker for a frozen mimosa and they do it great here. It hits different in the summer. Don't sleep on the food. Everything I have had here is delicious. Their wings has become one of my favorite wings in Houston. It goes well with their elote fries as well. Overall, this is a great spot any day of the week!

Yelp
Please do not go here or park in their lot. Even if you eat there and then walk over somewhere else, they will quickly tow your car. The signs are not clear and misleading. Unfortunate experience.

Yelp
We got to check out Cedar Creek today for brunch and it did not disappoint! First off, the service was fantastic! You order at the bar but everyone we interacted with was so helpful and nice. The food was delicious and everything tasted homemade. Also the drinks were bomb and nicely poured It was pretty crowded inside so we sat outside and enjoyed the nice sunny day. They have ample space outside and are dog friendly.
