Portland-Area Starbucks Workers Join a Nationwide Strike Today | Eater Portland

"As part of Starbucks Workers United’s week-long Strike With Pride on June 30, pickets were held at Cedar Hills Crossing in the Portland area; the first pickets began at 6 a.m. and continued into the afternoon. The action joined more than 150 locations nationwide demanding that company leadership negotiate a fair contract and address ongoing reports of anti-LGBTQ policy changes, including workers’ allegations that management has prevented Pride decorations and engaged in union-busting tactics that disproportionately impact LGBTQ employees." - Janey Wong

I had a great time but that place closes up at 6 pm. How do businesses survive? And there were several that had closed up. You got to check out the Lego store and the shop that uses a big press to put decals on clothes.

A good mall that has a good outside but there is nothing inside and no one comes there. the only store inside that people want to go is Powell's books the rest of the indoor mall has nothing.

So many shopping and food choices in one place! Great for families when people want different options and don't want to drive multiple places.

Nice selection of places. Good food. Creative stores. Great food. You can find a Powell’s books, a movie theater, a Trader Joe’s and Mod pizza - just to name a few. Enjoy your visit here and take lots of pictures.

Love this mall, the inside is lame and a little eerie just because it's so empty, but it's a nice space and the outside of the mall is lovely. Veggie grill, Jamba juice, and Powell's always makes for a wonderful day out.

Cedar hills crossing, where the crosswalks are limited and if a sidewalk is closed you're gonna have to navigate your way through the entire parking lot to get to the bus stop. part of the walking path doesn't even have a sidewalk, just dirt. but dont worry, there's even more parking past the dirt! extremely unwalkable for such a "walkable" area, it's essentially just a very large parking lot. UPDATE- one month later and a portion of the sidewalk is still closed and blocked off. it's the street that leads to the bus stop, but since the sidewalk is closed i now have to take a 5+ minute detour through the parking lot to reach the same place. hope you're not trying to catch the bus when you reach this blockage, because you're gonna miss it

This place is dead and has been for years. Nothing worth going into the mall. 95% of the businesses are closed with nothing in them. Even the restrooms were shut down this time. It did look like they were remodeling some food places, but who knows. The outside businesses are all great, just nothing worth going inside for.

Great selection of stores, inc New Seasons Market, Office Depot, Powell's Bookstore, Ross, Ulta, WinCo, Best Buy, McDonald's, plus much more, across the street is Dollar Tree on the Walker Rd entrance, Chic Filet located directly across the street from main entrance. Clean, well-lit at night, much safer than other parts of Metro area, preferably to the east. Lots of parking, bus lines drop off/pick up directly in front of shopping center & behind it, along w/Milliken Way MAX station one block behind shopping center next to Nike corporate offices. Great place to shop, worth the trip.
