Stopped in to check this place out on a Friday evening. The staff is friendly the drink pours (for whiskey) were very nice. The bar layout is good with areas to chill and converse. The food was very ok. After looking over the menu I decided a flatbread was in order since it would be hard to mess up. They had a Cheetos Grilled cheese that sounded great but the execution and canned tomato soup fell short. I was disappointed that the meat free options were a black bean burger or a plain salad... One other pout is the bar area smells sour, like a bar that needs a good cleaning.

This is my second visit. The second was just as bad as the first. The place is a very neat place to hang out. Bartenders are cool drinks come out fairly quickly. Servers are awesome. The food is just horrible. The first time I had the burger it was cooked extra well done and dry very dry. This time I had the chicken (cardboard) and cold very cold waffles. The chicken tenders (3) had been sliced in half the breaded and very fried. For $14 I would expect a better. It was just horrible. A friend ordered the same thing and it was the same way. I never eat here again.

Always enjoy going in for a great lunch special! Definitely give the Chicken Sandwich a try it’s delicious and worth every bite! But if your craving a salad check out the Cobb Salad. But if you like a little kick to your hunny mustard.. get a side of that for your salad.

Ok my 1 star I will gladly edit back to a good rating if there are improvements but lets talk business. Where is the manager? There are some hard working folks here and that was visible but people are not checking on tables. The last 3 times it took nearly 20 min to get menus or a drink ordered let alone the wait to get drinks from the bar only 10ft away. Getting rid of the pool table was a good move as there is now more seating. Health score rating is an 83 right now which means management is not properly training people to clean and maintain the restaurant. I used to love having a turkey burger with onion rings. Last sunday was served a frozen onion ring with fake grill marks. Inquired to our waiter whether or not the onion rings contained Monosodium glutamate as I suspected. Waiter did say they were frozen but was not able to get ingredient list because they threw away the box. It sucks having a rare neurological disorder that MSG does affect suicide headaches also known medically as Cluster Headaches. Thanks a ton for letting me suffer the rest of the afternoon and today in pain. The highlight was our table served plastic cutlery which easily broke. Ive worked in the service industry in restaurants and I would have never allowed this. Taphouse with new management and owners has turned into a resturant nightmare and I can only imagine the quality of the food we are not seeing behind the scenes. Nothing seems fresh and frenchfries we always have to ask to cook them extra longer because they are usually raw in the center. Here is the deal management. Ill gladly give a much higher review if you train your staff on guest first principles, stop using frozen food and use fresh food, have a floor manager that makes sure each table is getting quality service and needs met. It does not take rocket science to run a good restaurant that people want to come back to if they feel welcome and the food and atmosphere is great. Make the improvements otherwise Taphouse which used to be awsome food and good staff deserves to be shut down and the space given to some other restaurant that can deliver the quality.

I want to like this place more, but my order (chicken and waffles) was forgotten and I ended up waiting nearly an hour and most of my party was done and ready to leave. Then it was too dry and crunchy for both the chicken and waffles. Also, the music was way too loud, I couldn't hear the person next to me even with her nearly yelling in my ear. I know it was Pride weekend and all, but it's not supposed to be a club!

Best place to have a cocktail and relax. Patio is super chill. If weather permits, you can bring you doggies! :) if your looking for an awesome drink, ask for Joe! He’s super friendly always has a smile on his face! Friday’s there’s a DJ and they play some bomb ass music! Not to mention the billiards tables :) Stop by and have a great time!
