We really liked this place. It was cozy and comfortable with bar tables and stools, bar with 60+ inch TV's, and outside patio. Our server Shari was really sweet and helpful and we got our order in quick. Because the food is cooked fresh, it took a minute to get, but it was worth the wait. I'm not sure how long it's been there, but it is worth trying the Food and Drinks. We also got 2 orders of Party wings to go and can't wait to try them. The Fish and Chips (Cod) was thick and delicious and the Calamari was good also.

We love, love, loved it! Cute little bar with an amazingly full menu with lots to choose from. The staff is something to shout about! The staff was friendly and attentive it was like we'd been coming there for years. I want to go again, for sure! The menu has so many delicious looking options that I want to try more! Thank you Cedars Corner for a wonderful Birthday celebration dinner. Highly recommended!

Small but super cute place. We sat outside on the patio and it was a beautiful night. Had the best service we've had yet on our vacation and the food and drinks were great too! The Gouda Mac n cheese bites were amazing as well as the onion rings, and my husband loved the basa fish meal he had.

Google
So after 2 visits last year, I was on the fence about this place. Then, I went with a good friend last night and we met Aesthetics. She was a WHOLE VIBE. The service was great, the drinks were great, the food was great. We enjoyed ourselves and she was key to making this a great night after a difficult and busy week. Definitely, must try the fried shrimp, calamari and the Henny sidecar. The music was also great. Love supporting small businesses.

Google
If I could give zero stars I would. This visit was a complete disaster and shows how one employee can ruin a business. When I arrived the music was blasting so loudly that people were making comments and even trying to sit outside just to escape it. The problem was that the only staff member on duty that never went outside to check on them. I watched two different groups sit there for about ten minutes with no service at all before they gave up and left. Mind you there were only about three parties in the entire restaurant while I was there. One group even came in ten minutes after me, placed their order, and got their food to go before my order ever arrived. I ordered a simple chicken sandwich within five minutes of sitting down. I had about thirty minutes to eat and get back to get back to the courthouse. At the 25 minute mark the server finally brought out the wrong sandwich. This was after I had already paid since I was on a tight schedule. At that point I had no choice but to walk out without any food even though I had paid for it. This is exactly the kind of poor service that puts restaurants out of business. Good food means nothing if the staff cannot handle even the basics of customer service.

Good vibes, food at great prices, drinks was made just right for me (I really don’t drink), Excellent customer service.

Wow! What a classy place to spruce up downtown! The ambience inside is so nice. Everyone is so attentive and serves with a smile. The food is delicious! The drinks are gorgeous, presented with such class, and taste amazing! Definitely worth coming with those you love - again and again. :)

Google
Ever had food so good you bit your lip on accident? Well, when I ordered the Waygu cheeseburger that's exactly what happened. Also whoever made the new Miami Mocktail THANK YOU that was an amazing drink. Pineapple mango lemon sprite all the things I like. So the thing about Cedars Corner Bar here is that It's THE ONLY ONE IN FAIRFIELD YOU CAN SMOKE CIGARS AT! So all you cigar lovers out there this spot is for you to bring your Gentleman Squad for a night out for the game or chill outdoors and smoke a stogie. Also this is 21+ bar only so bring an ID. Excellent food Cigar smoking outside seating Nice environment Cigars Full bar Huge TVs wheelchair access Nice bathrooms Open seating Most luxury bar in Fairfield Great for a hang-out spot before or after the party

Yelp
Last night was my first time at Cedars Corner Bar & Kitchen, and it was such a great experience! We were hosting a small Friendsgiving and I arrived early. The location is on the smaller side, but they have a cozy "back room" that can comfortably seat about 11 people -- a table for 8 plus 3 side chairs with mini tables. There's a huge glass window that looks out to the street and a beautiful floral wall with their bar name lit up in lights. I asked if we could use the room for our group and the staff kindly said yes. While I waited, I ordered a Watermelon Breeze -- delicious! Once everyone arrived, we settled in, ordered drinks and appetizers, and everything was amazing. The hush puppies were incredible, and I tried a green tea shot for the first time -- so good! It was everyone's first time here and we're all locals, so it was nice finding a new spot we actually enjoyed together. The bar area on the other side looks perfect for date night or even just coming in solo. Great music, great vibe, and great service from the bartender/servers. Overall, we had a wonderful time and hop will definitely be back!

Yelp
First impression.. Super clean establishment! Unisex bathrooms were spotless! (We always go to bathroom first after seating lol!) Very modern interior.. came in sometime after 5pm and it's self seating and server was quick to assist us for drinks and food. They were patient with us and help provided recommendations as it was our party of 3 first time there. We ordered: avocado toast, wagyu and gyro burgers. Man.. all came with crispy fries! Yum. Flavor of the burgers was delicious and good size too! It didn't disappoint for sure. Drinks: We got the watermelon and lychee martini. Sweet and you can't really taste the alcohol which make it delicious and dangerous lol! They had a super cute IG worthy backdrop in a private room that you can book for events which is neat! Only thing is people do smoke cigar out in the patio and we can smell it but if you don't mind the cigar smell or maybe be seated further away from the door it should be fine. Overall, I would definitely come back if I was in the area!

Yelp
I was warned this place had poor service, but I still wanted to try the place out. I wanted a burger and a beer, and there aren't many late night options in Fairfield. Half of their seating was apparently reserved for some party, so there wasn't any available seating inside. The girl behind the bar said we could sit on the patio. Great! We go outside, find a clean table, and sit. Then we wait. And wait... And wait... At one point, a server came and brought food to one of the other outside tables. Of course he saw us, so we could expect to be helped soon, right? So we waited some more. Then some more... Then some more... Nobody came to bring us menus or offer water. Okay, whatever. Let me go inside and try to flag someone down. As I walk back in, the woman who originally told us we could go to the patio sees me but doesn't acknowledge me. She's probably busy. No big deal. I find an open spot at the bar and wait for the bartender to have a moment to hopefully get a chance to ask if we're supposed to order at the bar or if a server is supposed to come to our table. While waiting, I see some of the other workers just kinda standing around near the back of the bar, clearly not busy, but not being attentive to me. After a while of not being acknowledged by anyone working, the bartender tells me he'll get to me to after he delivers some drinks. Cool! Except he never the managed to get back to me. I stood around for a bit, watching the other workers not doing much, watching the woman who originally greeted me and told me to sit outside continue to not be helpful. After a bit more waiting, I left. Couldn't even get a drink.

Yelp
Visited on a Saturday night for a couple of drinks and grabbed a seat at the bar. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The whole place has a charming vibe--perfect for a cute date night!

Yelp
Food: I ordered the chicken strips and waffle. My husband had the fish and chips made with cod. The chicken strips were hot fresh and a solid 8/.5/10. The waffle tasted really good but could have been hotter. My husband's fish and chips had a good taste but was rather greasy. I'd give an 8/10 overall for the food especially since it's really a cute little bar with some quick and easy dishes. Ambiance: The place is cute and modern. With seating both indoors and outside. They even have a small side room they can serve guest or a group of friends could reserve Service: The service was good. It was a small crew of three but the really worked hard to try and give good service Parking: Parking is limited but not to bad if willing to walk a block Overall: Cute little spot to grab a drink and some good quick food. The portions were decent for the price.

Yelp
Ordered chicken and waffles, got cold waffle, sent it back, got another cold waffle. They also didn't write down 3-4 items for the table yet ached like they did.

Yelp
This spot is in a prime location right on the corner, downtown Fairfield. The inside is well lit with large screen TVs behind the full bar. I ordered an espresso martini that was perfection. To eat, I had the 3pc fish combo with fries. They give you a choice of catfish, sole or cod. I chose 2 pieces of catfish and one piece of cod with salt and vinegar fries. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. The portions are so large, I was only able to eat one piece of catfish and some fries, and took the rest to go. They also have chicken wings, salads, burgers and appetizers on the menu. This is a cool and casual place to catch up with friends or catch a game with solid food and excellent drinks.

Yelp
We stopped by Cedars Corner Bar & Kitchen for a local dinner in Fairfield, CA. This establishment has been here one year as of July 13, 2025. We ordered a few dishes: Wagyu Cheeseburger & (2) Fried Codfish with 6 pieces of large chicken wings, and French Fries. The food was very good especially fried codfish, my spouse ate the majority of the codfish with a big smile. The fried chicken wings were not over cooked or greasy, just very tasty. The Wagyu Cheeseburger was very good. Their serving of food was too much for us, so we brought the majority of our dinner home. My spouse enjoyed her good Strawberry Margarita, and I had ice cold water. :) Brittany the waitress was very attentive ensuring we did not need anything. In fact, she suggested that we order different meals, then we could try multiple dishes. We are giving them an overall rating of 5 Stars "*****"

Yelp
Food was good but service was mediocre. The server was by himself during the lunch hour, and he was bartender as well. He was very pleasant and had a great attitude. However he forgot to put in my togo order so I had to wait until a large private party (who arrived after me) were served. Not the best experience!

Yelp
This place is awesome. I am not familiar with Fairfield and Suisun City...but this is the area I decided to meet my friend for a night out since it's in between where we live. We were already out drinking, and at some point of the night we really needed food. This place happened to be the only full bar in the area open late that serves food. Our expectations were definitely low, as we were just expecting some average food at a place open this late. Lo and behold...the food was awesome! I ordered the impossible burger, which came with fries. The fries are very obviously house made with the finest quality and are some of the best fries I've ever tasted. They have a beer battered texture, with a slight like taste and plenty of salt and pepper seasoning. The burger was also good quality as well. Our sever was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which added to the quality of the experience. The ambiance was cool, with nice lighting and some Christmas decor. I also ordered the Sex on the Beach cocktail, which was surprisingly strong....some places skimp on the liquor. Overall, this was a quality experience and I highly recommend it!

Yelp
It was good enough for one visit. The best thing I can say about the place is it had good fries. The wait staff left a lot to be desired... The owner was doing all the work while the servers seemed to only want to chat with regulars. I watched as our food was brought to the bar (NOT where we were sitting) and sat for 5 minutes. Our server just looked at our food and kept talking. The owner finally brought it over himself. Coke was served in a small glass and never refilled because the server was more concerned with having us pay our bill so she could leave for the night, and never brought our receipt.

Yelp
Fairfield needs bars like this! I actually stopped by on a whim for a nightcap and ended up staying for a couple hours making conversation. A lively addition to the city! Expresso martini was delish & the portion size of food was great. I hear the catfish is amazing so it's on my list. I enjoyed the toffee cake too.
google avatar

Yelp
This place was super cool... Glad it wasn't packed. The drink was perfect. I tried the Mexican cigars, which were good, but I wish they had more of a cheese stick texture versus a smooth texture--but they had delicious flavor. The music was good, too. Overall, it's an excellent place to chill. The only thing I wasn't sold on was the cigar smell, but honestly, I was okay and enjoyed my time there.

Yelp
Great spot for drinks & music, big screen TV's.BUT make sure glasses are clean!! And for whatever reason they only have one person working the kitchen so I wouldn't go there for food, although it's decent food. The wait time for food is crazy but drinks and music was cool.

Yelp
Cedars has become one of my go to spots! I would definitely consider myself a regular now! I love walking in and being warmly greeted by all the staff! Everyone is so kind and attentive! And the food? Absolutely delicious. I've even started ordering Togo orders just for dinner. I'll for be a faithful regular! Such a great vibe! Great music great ambiance and great people!

Yelp
There is room for improvement * Date night was the week that cedars bar and grilled opened and we knew not to expect too much. The service was great with the exception of our server being distracted mid order by another employee. We ordered drinks while we meandered through the menu and decided on the calamari and 2 piece cat fish along with their three piece chicken tenders. The catfish came out first and it took a while for the chicken tenders to come out. I think our waitress forgot about the calamari order so we needed to remind her but when it came out it tasted fresh. Minus .5 on forgetting the calamari Minus .5 on how everything was seasoned the same. The calamari was accompanied by either ranch tartar sauce which was the same as the catfish so hopefully down the line they'll have their own aioli sauce for the calamari. Otherwise I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The music was the vibe and the service was great. Can't wait to see them iron out the issues because I will certainly be back!

Yelp
The wait time to be served has always been bad and we end up walking out before any drink/food orders can be taken. No one greets you when you come in. It's honestly felt like it was just people working there to get a check. In an environment like this people should be more bubbly and approachable not looking overwhelmed that there are so many people. I'd try them one more time down the road but customer service is EVERYTHING in this type of setting!! Sometimes the wait to a place doesn't matter as long as the customer service is on point.
google avatar

Heath B.

Yelp
Great spot that is also open late! I'm from the south and truly, the fried catfish was on point! I recommend the filets. Fried chicken wings and shrimp were good too. Good fries and can get them salt and vinegar which I like. The service was great. Friendly and timely. The atmosphere late night was cool. Good music and a chill bar vibe. I will go back there whenever I'm in the area.

Yelp
I noticed this new spot across the street from Rustwater and decided to try it out with some friends. Last night we went in and sat in the lounge area. Ambiance was nice, a little bright but nothing too bad. I loved the overall interior of the place, a nice spot to hang and talk amongst friends. Our waitress was SO nice and she made our drinks. She apologized for taking so long but we didn't mind at all and the drinks were nice and strong! Something well deserved and welcome after a hard days work :) at the end of your shift this is what you're looking for. The cocktail selection holds lots of variety and since it's an open bar they can make pretty much any drink. Unfortunately, no blended drinks though :c We primarily came for the drinks and cigar bar but we couldn't have that on empty stomachs. We ordered some appetizers and wings. Hushpuppies - 9/10.. good taste, nice and crisp, hard to get good hushpuppies and these didn't disappoint. Mac and cheese bites - 9/10, loved the gouda in there! Nice and creamy Wings and fries - 8/10 GOT DANG THESE WINGS WERE MANDO! We got lemon pepper and buffalo, taste was real good.. only thing is they were kinda soggy, next time I would just tell the waitress to fry them hard and they'd be perfect! The fries had an interesting seasoning, but nice and crispy :) After, some of my group got cigars next door and smoked them outside on the patio where there was a nice heating tower. It was also fun to sing some throwbacks and RnB songs along with the guests, the vibes were definitely a 10/10. Overall I would definitely recommend this place, such a great addition to the city, already making arrangements to come back ^_^

Yelp
Picked this spot for date night with my husband. He had a craving for some fried fish. I had seen it a couple times during my drive through downtown from. We were able to find parking on the street right in front of the restaurant. Like many establishments, they don't have their own parking lot. I appreciate the city's attempt to revive the downtown scene, so I make every attempt to try the new spots. The server/bartender seated us quickly, but was a bit laggy to get us menus and to take our order. He was friendly, but seemed a little pre-occupied. We liked that the menu was simple, but enough variety to satisfy most customers' craving. The drinks came out quickly, but I was a bit deflated to see they were basic looking unlike the description on the menu. The food was served in a paper- lined red plastic basket, which I didn't mind; it worked for the fried food, but for my salad..... hmmm not so great! Their fish was VERY flavorful. My husband said it was fresh, seasoned well and not dripping in oil. The shrimp meat was dry and tasted overcooked, but the batter was crisp and crunchy. I was hoping the fries that came with the combo would be enough to share, but nope. It was just enough for my husband to gobble all up. Next time, I know to order my own. The fried mushrooms were good on the outside, but the inside... I couldn't tell if the mushy-ness of the taste was because of the juicy-ness of the mushroom or uncooked batter. The salad was basic, the lettuce was fresh and green, they were generous on the cheese, but a little stingy on the croutons. For the price, I probably will pass the next time we visit.

Yelp
Overall rating: 4.5 stars We stopped by this place on a whim looking for a quick dinner and beer. I hadn't been to Downtown Fairfield in a while and was pleasantly surprised to see that the sidewalks are being cleaned up and new trees have been planted. Yessssss, let's make Downtown Fairfield cute! Love to see it. Beautiful interior -- a long bar with ample seats, bar tables, and seating outside. The music was fit for your typical millennial playing at a higher-than-usual volume, so much so, that the women at the table next to us couldn't help but get their groove on while a gentleman at the bar cheered them on, which was fun to see. There was a group of girlfriends having dinner, a woman either working or studying with her laptop and books at the bar, two gentlemen playfully teasing other patrons coming in and out of the restaurant -- this was a Thursday. Generally, it's a casual and pleasant place for people to hang out and unwind. We ordered an IPA and the fish and chips with three different fish -- cod, bass (I think?), and catfish. I thought it was good. Decent portions. I ate the whole thing. The fish tasted fresh and the batter for both the fish and the fries was a good flavor. Our server was attentive and courteous. I think the owner came out and served us our food. He seemed cordial also. It's a nice little spot that Downtown Fairfield needs. Hope it sticks around.

Yelp
This place has it all -- great food and lots of it, amazing service (that bar tender, Brittany really rocks) and a good ambiance with lots of character. What more does one ask for. Fish and chips was epic-- more than I could eat at one setting. Not sure what they do to those fries but ooo-laaa-laaa! Brittany mixes a great drink (Feeling Peachy was a big hit!). Definitely recommend dropping by.

Yelp
Yes! come to Cedar's Corner for all your lounging needs. They're slightly newer spot on the block and downtown FF is looking a bit lit at night. Cedars is a grown crowd, BUT the staff are super friendly! We had Jaz help us and this girl deserves all the accolades...personable, friendly, and well-versed in the libation arena. You can have 3 samples of their beers on tap and my dining companions love the peach and mango. We also go some snacks of Mexican cigars (cheese lumpias really), some Wings, fries and rings and some spicy cauliflower... all pretty standard snack favorites no prob. We did miss out on their flavored fries as they were out but we made due. Live entertainment w/ Ariel every 2nd Wed of the month and we cant wait for the next time. This star is the highlight of our attendance; they're a 4 piece band and she performed some old skool r&b, Motown, amazing songstress! Great times and looking forward to our next visit!

Yelp
I went here with a group of 7 people on a Friday night in October. We were immediately seated and someone took our drink orders within 10 minutes. It took around 30 minutes to get drinks and my drink was incorrect. We ordered appetizers before we got our drinks. We waited forever and asked the waitress about ordering entrees and let her know we were going to a show down the street at 8 and asked if we'd be able to have food and eat it before then. She acted like we were crazy despite it being 45 minutes since we ordered appetizers and we still didn't have appetizers. We stupidly ordered entrees. About 30 minutes later, we complain to the bartender (because our waitress stopped coming by) and the owner came about 20 minutes later and dumped all the food and appetizers on the table. They didn't tell us what anything was or deliver it to the correct person at the table. We only got one drink in over 2 hours because no one took our orders. We asked for water with our food and they dumped a pitcher and plastic cups on our table. We'd asked for another round of drinks and the waitress said she'd be right back and never came back. Now on to the food- it was not good. The catfish breading was bland. The wings were not good. The chicken strips had a weird texture and lacked flavor. My husband ordered lemon pepper chicken strips and they just had some lemon pepper seasoning sprinkled on and were bland. The fried cauliflower was disgusting. The only thing that was decent was the fries. We spent around $400 for poor service and bad food. I'd never go back.

Yelp
I really enjoy coming for the food and ambiance. I want to say big shout out to Aesthetics, Danial, & Ryan. They always take care of us and are waking the most interactive and friendly. They have become more than job host. They are the embodiment of a great, approachable, and fun staff. They deserve a raise and praise for their work. Looking forward to the cigar bar opening. All love to this place uncle Amen!

Yelp

Yelp
This is a shot of angels envy. They got a good liquor selection and they fish and chips is fire off top. The spot is cracking on the under pull up.

Yelp
This place is really fun! The inside is nice and really well decorated. Service was fast and really nice! Has a really laid back atmosphere. And I saved the best for last, the food!! I got the Grilled BBQ chicken sandwich. So good! And the fries were some of the best I've had. I travel to Fairfield often for work, I'll be coming here whenever I'm here.

Yelp
We visited for lunch two weeks ago on a Wednesday morning and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I believe Daniel was our bartender, and I had the pleasure of speaking with Freddy, the morning's cook. He was exceptional and persuaded us to return for Taco Tuesday, where we saw him again and were not disappointed. The tacos were amazing, and we will definitely return. To experience a great meal and excellent service, visit Freddy and Daniel on Wednesday mornings.

Yelp
I've been to this place a few times now, and it's definitely a cool little spot for Fairfield. There's a cozy vibe, like you could hang out for hours (and I have). The bartenders and service in general are good, as well as the CATFISH. You'll miss out if you don't try it, believe me. It can get crowded on weekends, as it is a small-ish venue. I like that they have a party room for special occasions. Having been raised out here in Fairfield, I can say we've never had a place like this until recently. Good stuff. Again, don't sleep on the catfish.
google avatar

Lorenzo K.

Yelp
Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. I loved the fact that they have two huge TVs inside. It's a really nice place on the inside. All the food was cooked perfectly! I'll certainly be back.

Yelp
Wishing I could give my first experience 10 stars. The staff is remarkably fun, engaging, and entertaining. The atmosphere and ambiance is relaxing and peaceful. The catfish, shrimp and fries meal is addictive. I bet you can't eat it just once? I've only been there once but I've eaten the plate twice. I want to give the staff their shoutouts by name before I wrap this long review up. Chef Moe Owner Ayman Kanisha Nikki W Takeylia We shall return. I didn't even brag about the secret alley to the cigar humidor. Picked out a cigar and enjoyed it on the patio. Fire first impression!!

Yelp
My husband and I were excited to finally check this place out, on a rare kid-free evening. Especially because we had heard the food is amazing, and their cocktail list looked great. The vibe inside is cool, too. However, it was only 6pm when we got there and it was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk. We waited awhile and someone finally came to bring us water and a menu, but after 30 mins no one ever acknowledged us or came to take our order, so we left. There were plenty of bartenders around, but the service there was just awful. Apparently this is the usual for them, after telling a few friends about our experience. Won't be back there again.

Leila D.

Yelp
Giving this place a 3.5 stars, still new and working out kinks from my observation. Ordered spicy cauliflower appetizers and had to ask for utensils and napkins that should be gp! Happy menu looks interesting, lemon drop for $8, variety wines and beer $5 not bad. Not too much on menu, alot of fried bar stuff! Fish and chips was ok. And the spicy cauliflower we had to ask for ranch and hot sauce. Bartender made my lemon drop perfect to my tastings! This is a great come up for downtown FF!

Yelp
Glad to try out a brand new spot in downtown Fairfield. They have a friendly, welcoming staff and mostly bar seating. There are some tables as well. We had the fish and chips and it was excellent. My wife chose cod, and says it was among the best fish and chips she's ever had. The fries were amazing as well. Nikki was our server, and she was as sweet as can be, she took really good care of us. I had a really good beer off one of their many taps, they have a full bar as well and stay open to 2 am on the weekends. Will definitely be back. The owner was super cool and came to check on us, he let us know the vibe he's going for and it's exactly what downtown Fairfield needs.

Yelp
Was indecisive for what I wanted for dinner so suggested to hubby let's go to Cedars Corner Bar & Kitchen in Fairfield. I attempted to try this place months ago during football season and the service wasn't that great.. there was one waitress and she seemed to be pretty overwhelmed (complaining to other customers) so I decided to exit. Glad I gave it another try. We ordered an appetizer-Mexican Cheese Cigars...Was pretty bummed they didn't have calamari tonight but the Mexican cheese cigars were pretty tasty. We both ordered the catfish and fries.. The food was definitely cooked to order FRESH AND HOT!! The fish was fried to perfection, crispy, well seasoned and flaky. The vibe was also nice-bar atmosphere with good music, 2 televisions and the All Star games on. The customer service was also great. Pleasant attitudes from the servers/bartenders. Good drinks-an old fashion and a Mexican mule. They have happy hour Sunday-Thursday 2-6. We will definitely go back and I recommend it if you haven't done so-give it a try.

Yelp
The drinks were so good! The service was EXCELLENT. The food was sooo good!! Please try the Mexican Cigars great appetizer. Impossible Burger was well seasoned and they give you plenty of fries. This is definitely a great place to come and check out sports with good food. This place is a triple threat! SERVICE, FOOD, PRICE.

Yelp
I am not going to lie although this is a "nicer dive bar" as the bartender put it, this place has some of the worst customer service i've experienced at a bar. I went in and it wasn't even that busy there were 3 people working, yet i didn't get asked if i wanted anything for 7+ mins till i waived someone down. I asked simple questions about the menu and they couldn't answer what i thought wasn't a complicated question. i've been here a handful of times they really need new staff working here because it's the same experience every time. -their vibe is nice/ casual -R&B, hip- hop or rap is usually the only music playing -located in Downtown Fairfield where there is usually a lot of parking -the bar food and cheap(ish) drinks is what keeps me coming back

Yelp
Came in to order a salad to go. Waited over 40 minutes when the restaurant was slow. Would NOT come back. Would not recommend if you want good service. This place is horrible.

Yelp
I had been stalking their IG , anticipating the opening. So after a long day of WFH, I couldn't wait to visit. Today was their first day fully open to the public ..... Service : Bar staff were friendly , welcoming and attentive. My food took longer than expected but I was enjoying the conversation with staff and patrons. No biggie , but after 2 cocktails I was hungry. Owners : Offered suggestion's, asked questions on service and also attentive. Food: Standard Bar food, ordered the Buffalo Chicken strips /Fries and the Mexican Cheese Cigars which came with a side of guacamole and chili verde dipping sauce. When drinking you need food, so you eat. Cocktail: Ms.Nikki, who had never made a Hennessy Sidecar crafted me a surprisingly pleasant cocktail. Way to go, Nikki girl! Ambience : Perfect Vibe, not too loud, not too quiet. Music was easy going and great for an adult RNB/ contemporary type vibe. Crowd: Diverse, Friendly and Welcoming . A couple offered me a piece of cat fish which he raved about. It was definitely good , not a huge fan of Catfish, but whatever seasoning they had on jt , was on point . Prices: Standard Bar prices and as expected. Overall Experience: Cedar Corner has great potential here in Fairfield. I'm excited for them and anticipate great things ahead . They've gained a frequent flyer.Excellent location, and I will definitely be back to breeze through their menu and try other options. Boss Lady, handled the bar , bartenders and customers with ease ensuring all suggestions and questions were addressed. Job Well Done, CC ! Up next a , Mexican 75 cocktail (splash of fresh lemon)

Yelp
Great Service, Great Food and Great Ambiance. Even had the WNBA game on. The mimosas were a little watered down but everything else was perfect.

Yelp
Nice, casual bar with a pretty good menu. Each time I have come, the food comes out really hot and fresh. Both bartenders are great. I was told they have a different chef come in for Sunday brunch with a different menu then their normal, hopefully I can try that soon. They do have an outdoor seating area with heaters. They have a larger table in separate room/seating area but I would not recommend for large parties. I'm attaching photos from different visits. The Philly cheese steak is really good as well. Not a huge fan of the Mexican cigars but I definitely recommend the hush puppies. Food is a little pricey but you do get a healthy portion and you can tell it's freshly prepared. That's expected for a mom and pop place.

Yelp
What a lovely place for "Happy Hour". Peaceful reserved and pleasant. The service was handled with such delicacy that I felt special. I had the Basa fish. It was crisp and tender. Seasoned to perfection. And Oh Boy those French Fries were double crisp. I seldom eat fries because they are so bland but not these. I enjoyed this most wonderful simple meal. Oh yeah. I added the Strawberry cake they had also. Delicious. It was a great place to cheer me when other things of my day were not tiptop I would say.

Yelp
I came here in the middle of a workday and ordered a Caesar salad to go. It took the server 10 minutes to take my order, and she charged me upfront. I then waited 40 minutes for my food. I talked to a manager, who gave me five dollars off of the $20 salad. I told him I should just cancel my order. He gave me the rest of my money, and I watched him throw the salad in the trash. Do not recommend. Very rude and terrible service.
