The highlight of any Cedele visit is the food. From Soup to sandwich, grain bowls, mains and dessert, Cedele food is always good. We ordered a Fish and Shrimp Main, a Tofu and Portobello Mushroom Main and a Breakfast bagel from their all day brunch menu. Food was delicious, portions were good and each came with a free soup (choice of Mushroom or Pumpkin). We finished with a slice of Walnut Carrot cake which is the perfect balance flavour without being too sweet, and solid cup of coffee. Service is limited, you order and take a number tag, staff will deliver the food to you when ready. Cutlery and condiments are self service. At lunchtime on a Sunday, the location was not packed but there were tables that were waiting to be cleared. Atmosphere is loud and hectic as the cafe is in the middle of the floor in the basement. Overall, a very good option for a quick, healthy and delicious meal.

Came for a cuppa of Long Black after a weekday lunch within the same mall. The Coffee (together with the Vivocity outlet) here have standard. (So far only Wheelock Place Cedele’s coffee is below the standard). Didn’t take their afternoon tea set offer (Becos still very full after lunch)

Something that puzzled me ALL the time. Why are servers not properly trained, not to hold a customer's cup at the rim (photo merely for illustration purpose)? I mean, Hello, HYGIENE Please!!!! I get pretty disturbed when servers touches the rim area. Who knows where they hand/finger went before this? Goodness!. Cedele, please freshen them on this. Ok that aside. The red velvet cake was pleasing. I especially like the cream cheese. The caramel sea salt milkshake was pleasant too. Personally, a sprinkle bit more salt will be good (no am not savory tongued but I feel it will be even better if a tiny bit more salt is added).

Cedele cakes are fragrant and well made. I can taste that they use good ingredients. The atmosphere is not the best. It would have been a better dining experience if the tables were clean. There were crumbs left over from a previous customer. Note : Staff may not alert you of offers while you order. If you are unaware and don’t ask for it you won’t get the discount.

Second visit with an order for Iced Earl Grey Tea and a Grilled Sea Bass and Prawn pasta. There was no syrup available except brown sugar at the self help counter. Was eating the pasta when the mouth was hurt suddenly. It turned out a fish bone was left intact in the sea bass. The kitchen needs to be extra careful dealing with a fish on pasta as usually everyone would expect a Boneless serving for a pasta dish. Tomato sauce was overwhelming for me especially after biting the fish bone.

Ordered Mango Lassi 6inch cake for a birthday. Had high hopes for it, as a gf's mum was raving about their onde onde cake. Quite disappointed with the mango lassi cake though.. the 'cream' was kinda gooey and wet, nothing creamy about it. Texture was kinda off. And mango pieces were not generous at all, as shown cross-sectioned. Mango taste was not memorable at all. Usually it is very hard to go wrong with mango cakes, but this one ticked all the wrong boxes. :( Considering it costing over $50, i would rather go elsewhere with my money.

Amazing coconut butterfly pea cake. Very fresh bits of coconut and lovely coconut flakes in the cream. Lettering on the cookie was very pretty!

No service charge as you order at the counter and carry your own food. Own seatings. Stuff isn’t v trained for online vouchers. Carrot cake is still their best item. Matcha latte pretty big cup, but doesn’t taste well.
