So here is the thing. Great value for many items. Crispy, delicious food and treats. It's the summer seafood shack vibe. Hamburger was ok, nothing special. Hammock sandwhich, great price, and pretty good as well! Next time, I'll ask for more tartar sauce. Spicy fries were not spicy but flavored, and they were crispy and yummy. Onion rings we very good. Tap water was even great and cold! The soft serve was fun and good, plenty of jimmies on it. I got the hazelnut, and it tasted like it was vanilla with a few pumps of hazelnut coffee syrup in it, so it was ok flavor, but consistency was great! I think they need a menu that's a little easier to read. There is a parking lot which is a luxury in these parts. Outside and inside tables. It's pretty clean, always busy. We are returning to try other things! Update: I tried the meatball calzone. It was really good, but not amazing. I liked the dough the best, meatballs were not the best quality, cheese was good and I loved the maranara sauce they gave to dip it in. The calzone itself I felt like needed some garlic. I got it to go I would have loved some packets of red pepper and parm.

One bite of my sandwich and it was thrown directly into the garbage, where it belongs. Inedible stale bread packed with mortadella and soggy vegetables. $14.00 for a disgusting abomination.

Great atmosphere, vibe, and food. My friends got ice cream and pepperoni and pineapple pizza and I got two slices of cheese pizza. It was very delicious after a moderately paced group bike ride. The outdoor seating was very pleasant. The owner offered me iced water which was extremely nice. They have many flavors of soft and hard ice creams and their price is very cheap for the portions. A lovely place for group gathering and oh hey there they have fried clams.

I took my grandson for ice cream. For 2 kiddie cones I spent over $12. Was it worth the price? Maybe. Definitely worth seeing my grandson enjoy the ice cream.

Very good services. Fast and well organized. Try the best ice cream and seafood combos in this town. Must try for seafood lovers. Strategic location and many lots of parking. Good protocols to prevent covid-19. Recommended.

I know it’s everyone’s favorite, and it’s my first time trying it, but java berry today tastes weird, i even had a friend taste it for she confirmed it. Something is off, i think it’s the raspberry part, coffee tastes fine. I’m very sorry i had to put it in trash, it was not good

Great food - good variety from wraps to burgers to salads. Great fries and ice cream!

Went there for whole belly clams and they were sold out. Got the scallop plate. It was just ok, no taste. Not worth the $$$.

Excellent soft serve. Make sure to check the hours on their website. They close right after Labor Day. Parking is really tight. Park around the corner just in case.

Celebrity Pizza & Dairy Bar - A Classic That Misses the Mark This place has been around for a long time, and every year I find myself hoping it's improved... but sadly, it's always the same: a big menu full of blandness. They boast 32 flavors of soft serve--and as a soft serve lover, that should be a dream. But in reality? It's more like 32 shades of disappointment. The flavor just doesn't land--tastes muted, flat, and leaves you wishing it lived up to the hype. I pop in once a year, holding out hope for something better... but every time, I walk away let down. I respect the nostalgia and the neighborhood history, but flavor-wise, Celebrity Pizza hasn't hit the high note yet. Soft serve fan, still searching for "the one"

One of my favorite spots in Watertown! This place is a must go to during the opening summer season. They have a variety of dishes such as pizzas, burgers, fried clams, subs and calzones. Not only is their food delicious they also have amazing soft serve ice cream! It is always a treat to dine in and then get soft serve to go. You can add sprinkles to your soft serve and they have a variety of flavors. There is nice outdoor seating to enjoy outdoor dining during the summer time but there is also a couple of indoor tables to dine in. The service is always great and the food comes out nice and hot. My bf and I almost always like to share their clams plate because the portions are huge! The clams are very good and they pile them on top of yummy fries. Its perfect to share but if you are very hungry it will easily satisfy you. I really also enjoy their coleslaw, it taste very refreshing and it has a hint of lemon juice and its not runny or watered down. Its always a treat to stop by Celebrity!

Hot summer day? Sweating like crazy? Need something for your sweet tooth? No need to fear. A soft serve ice cream from Celebrity's will save the day. Their soft serve ice cream always tastes so creamy, refreshing, and as crazy as it sounds... they're sprinkles always taste fresh! You know how sometimes you order an ice cream with sprinkles and you either can't taste the sprinkles at all, or you can taste the sprinkles, but they taste expired as if they've been sitting on a shelf for years? Well at Celebrity's, there's always a fresh taste to their sprinkles and I just love it. I almost always order sprinkles on any ice cream order and I gotta say, Celebrity's sprinkles are top tier elite in my book. They sell food here too, which I hear good stuff about. I will say that I only come for the ice cream though! There's plenty of seating inside and outside, every time I go I experience very quick service, they have super friendly and hardworking staff, but one thing to keep in mind: parking. They have a small lot in front but it can get really packed, fast. You might have to park at a close-by side street with 1 hour parking signs and then walk. Just FYI. Celebrity's is closed in the winter (sad) so it's definitely a go-to spot in the summer!!

Best pizza and ice cream in greater Boston! Crust is crunchy. Soft serve ice cream comes in lots of flavors. Fried shrimp is bomb too!

There are not many things that I get from here and that I like so overall I'm going to say it's not my favorite to order from. However my friend loves this place and we're constantly getting food here, and today I had the chicken soup. The noodles in it was kind of weird I guess but it was all right, it was flavorless which was weird so I added some chicken powder and a little bit of salt and that made it really good. The tiny pieces of chicken I feel like they come out of the can, I was expecting like shredded chicken or even if it was trunk to be like real chicken.

Yelp hours are wrong!!!! Got there when closing 8:56- so machine were acting up and we couldn't get any sprinkles because they already put them away. It would be nice to know that they were closing when we walked in because yelp says they're open till 10 o'clock and we would've gone somewhere else. They were kind of mad that we were even there, but when I told them that yelp told us they were open, they understood. I hope they treat their customers better when they're open. They could've easily sent us away and recommended another place! My first ice cream for the summer and it had ice crystals in it! And it was soft serve!!! I give them another shot, but just a little feedback it's OK to say no!

Last 3 times we've gone here have been a massive disappointment. The soft serve had little to no flavor other than a hint of vanilla. Yesterday I sent back the key lime pie and reported so. The cashier told me they add syrup to a vanilla base and not enough syrup was added. They gave me another key lime pie that had as little flavor as the first. After 3 failures, I won't be going back.

Great down home food. House made onion rings are delicious. Oreo shake was great. Fun place for quick in and out.

Ice cream is a definite 10/10! Soft serves are creamy, decedant, not too sweet and a good price for the quantity. Our large javaberry was 7 dollars and then 80 cents for a waffle cone, and it was huge! Enough for 2 people and definitely recommend. Pizza was alright, but not great for the prize. Crust was a bit crispy and not really memorable, but was still the best part of the pizza. Sauce was without character and cheese was a thin layer on top. Spicy fries were subpar. Not spicy and not salted. Very nicely crispy though. The restaurant doesn't have salt bottles or packets laying around and the fries and pizza definitely needed it. Will come back for ice cream!... just not anything else. Good service, and the ambience of the shop was a small mom and pop shop, with booths to sit. Not too crowded, comfy and homey feel.

I really love this place. I'm heart broken that they're closed for the winter now. Probably the best priced and best tasting subs in the area. I've gotten Italian and Tuna subs mostly from there. It's near my work and I'm bummed it won't be open until the spring. Give me another reason to hate winter! Good variety on ice cream. Very friendly people working and attentive. Cute area outside with tables and benches. Has indoor chairs as well. The clam chowder was pretty terrible but I don't have the heart to take off a star.

I get the ice cream here. The coffee Oreo with chocolate sprinkles is amazing. Real chocolate sprinkles.

Excellent soft-serve, and even better: have chocolate-dipped option that is the BEST way to eat such a cone! (the creamsicle chocolate dipped cone is the way to go!) A good cheap lunch is the $5 hamburger, yet to try their pizza.

I think this is good as an ice cream place but not as a pizza place. Service is quick and there is parking. I would come back for the soft serve. There are a bunch of other pizza places nearby with much better pizza. The pizza dough leaves a lot to be desired. Also tried the spicy fries which would be more appropriately named seasoned fries as they're not spicy at all. They were also overcooked and not salty.

This place is so good! I am not sure when they opened but I personally have been going here since 2012. It's so yummy. Their pizza is delicious. Stuffed shells too, everything is amazing. I don't know why they are temporarily closed at the moment but I really hope this is not a long term thing! I need their food again soon. Oh and the people that work here are so friendly! They've had the same delivery driver for over ten years, he's so nice. I miss seeing him bring me my deliveries. It's a very nice, tight knit, family atmosphere!

Inferior processed food. This is where you go if you're in training to get diabetes. Ice cream is same as anything you can get anywhere. Lots of Gwar gum and preservatives.

This place needs to have a business coach come in and review how they treat and handle customers. They are rude and abrupt. For a place that charges a small fortune for a soft serve, they should be nicer... Its understandable that people call in their orders more often these days, but attending to people who actually took the time to come in to order their sundaes, they should do it better. Taking multiple orders in between making a persons sundae, causing it to melt, then telling the customer " what's wrong with you?? Cant you wait?? This is how we do things..." This is seriously the rudest place. They literally took 5 phone calls, left my sundae in the corner as it melted without batting an eye-lash. Then complained that I had the nerve to get upset. Unbelievable. Would not go backward

Highly recommend the Oreo Coffee ice cream, it has huge chunks of cookies (way bigger than the regular oreo flavor!) and has a rich coffee flavor to match. The pizza is a good size and cheesy, and the fried seafood is pretty decent if you're into that. My favorite thing to order is a customized Buffalo chicken sub, it hits every time. Cute and friendly mom and pop spot

So happy to see these guys open again They have the best soft serve I don't think they're all the same some are creamier than others and theirs is the best .. Fried seafood and pizza is amazing too They have made a few changes to accommodate the new regulations One way in , one way out and a big window for the purpose of picking up takeout ..That part was a little confusing at least for me ...I waited at the takeout window for a few minutes when I finally asked and the explanation was simple The owner is always right there elbow to elbow with his hard working younger staff that is really on the ball which is great because it appears BUSINESS IS BOOMING !!!! Welcome back guys

Things I have tried and are incredible: Onion Rings French Fries Pizza Pizzetta (one of my favorite things) Root Beer Floats Frappes (especially java berry and creamcicle) Chicken fingers Mediterranean Wrap Raspberry Lime Ricky (the best one I've found so far in New England) Also, they have lovely outdoor seating.

Great fried clams and fried seafood platter. The soft serve ice cream is delicious too. I haven't tried the pizza yet, but have heard that's really good as well. Seating is limited, but there is some outdoor seating. The parking lot is tiny and it can be difficult to find a space, but lots of people do takeout so spaces open up fairly quickly.

I've only come here for a seafood platter once and soft serve ice cream twice. If I recall correctly, the seafood platter was fine, nothing extraordinary or unpleasant about it. Tonight, I remembered to get the javaberry (coffee and raspberry twist) soft serve. Yelpers rave about this flavor. Wow, it's definitely the thing to get here! I enjoyed the combination and would certainly return now to get that again and to give the other food here a try.

Really interesting place! We stopped by because we were so intrigued by the "PIZZA SEAFOOD ICE CREAM" sign out front, and it seemed to be pretty popular. I'm also a sucker for soft serve, so we came by for dessert. They do have a ton of different flavors, though it seems like most of them are just syrups they mix into vanilla soft serve. That being said, the butter pecan came out pretty tasty! And you get a lot of ice cream for the price.

Overrated Super expensive Trash !!! Ordered Lg cheese pizza , still doughy cheese was almost none existent and flavorless. Sauce was strait out of a can with also no flavor. Pizza coulda defiantly used another 5 minutes or so in the oven. Next up chicken finger sub bread was definitely not fresh there was 2 maybe a 3rd little piece of chicken to make up the sandwich which was ok nothing special. Fries were cooked to long and crunchy. Overall total disappointment for 40$ or so I woulda been better off at McDonald's at least I woulda known ahead of time the food was gonna be trash !!!

Perfect neighborhood ice cream spot. The line moves quickly and there are tons of flavors to choose from.

Love the place, but the owner needs to teach the counter women some manner about waiting on people! She needs people skills or to be let go to do something she is more suited to do.

I have been here four times, and three of my experiences have been a complete disaster. Their staff is slow and disengaged. The owner hired his daughter and her friends to save money, so they really have no concept of customer service. I have been ignored more than once at the register. They once forgot my order for take-out, and when I came by to pick it up they pretended they didn't and said "the grilled cheeses are taking longer than usual today." I waited 15 minutes in line for an ice cream cone, and when it got to be my turn the server walked away to go rinse out ice cream scoopers. I proceeded to speak up about being ignored, and the cheapskate owner attempted to lecture me on "calling ahead next time." Who calls ahead for a f*cking ice cream? Avoid the headache and go somewhere else.

Celebrity just opened up for the warm season! They are like a first taste of Summer, w/ beach shack style food and soft serve ice cream. They typically have decent sized portions. EX: The Clam Strip Platter ~$19 and Javaberry Soft Serve Ice Cream Cone ~$5 are each fine for two people. The Cole slaw is lemony and delicious. The onion rings are skinny "shoe string" style. Be aware that they are closed on Sundays. Take-out or Outside picnic table dining only. There are also a few other tables at the small child's playground next door. Lot parking space is limited and cramped at ~12 spots, there's a little bit more street parking a block away.

Super good for a quick and yummy pizza on the lower price end. I'm also a fried food junky so their mozzarella sticks were amaaaazazing.

This is a good fast food restaurant. I think the food quality and variety leaves this place at 3/5 stars. HOWEVER, they ALSO have a huuuuge amount of ice creams to choose from. Among my favorite flavors are strawberry and piña colada (which I have never encountered anywhere else). I recommend this place for a filling and fulfilling experience.

the food here is good! great fried sea food and calzones/pizzas. I got the pepperoni mushroom cheese calzone, and it was really big and filling. for fried seafood, I recommend getting 2 choices of seafood instead of the combination platter. everyone comes here for the ice cream though. non stop people are coming through the doors, and I understand why. the soft serve is really creamy and their portions are HUGE. I got a small soft serve on a cone, and they give a lot. a lot of people come here for the Java berry (coffee and berry swirl soft serve) and it is good! I wouldn't get it again because it's not my type of flavor combination but the berry part is good!

Wow! I hadn't been here in about 10 years and it's still GREAT! They're celebrating 30 years! Had the seafood platter, pepperoni pizza and root beer float. Plenty of ice cream in the root beer float so there wasn't a problem adding more soda to the drink. A great local place!

When I was a newlywed, I lived around the corner from this place and loved it. Soft serve ice cream screams summer and it was so nice to have it year round. AND they have the chocolate that hardens and then you have to rush and eat it before it all melts. Ah, good times. Then one day, my sister-in-law brings over a zazza - the waters parted and the gods sung on high. It is their special pizza (they have regular pizza too) that has an amazing fresh base and then you add to it. I think I have to head over there ... oh wait, they deliver on orders of $10 and over and that includes the ice cream.

Nice staff. One of the only places around to get soft serve. Other great options for ice cream, and there's a playground next door so you can let the kids have ice cream outside and play at the playground on warmer evenings. Fried clams are amazing. Food is excellent. Plentiful seating, including outdoor. Fast service. Only downside is NO BATHROOM. The Mobile station or the CVS have bathrooms nearby and sometimes the playground has portable ones. Go here, it's worth it.

I really love this place for soft serve ice-cream. Have not had any other food or drinks. My favorite is German Chocolate, which I used to get all the time over the years, and I loved it. However, the last two times I got it (after a few years of not coming to this place because I moved away), I got an overpowering flavor of coffee instead. For those who don't know, German Chocolate is supposed to taste a little bit of coconut. I still ate it because a small size of serve serve cone will cost you five bucks. But I'm not a big fan of coffee flavor and I'm guessing they just didn't wash the machine or whatever implements they use to mix the more unique flavors. Last time I went I got the chocolate and vanilla twist and it was absolutely delicious and just right. The price is very high. But since this is one of the only places around that I know that has soft-serve, I'm going to continue going there... just not for German Chocolate.

I had a great experience with their new Covid ordering and pickup system. I called in my order ahead of time and it was ready exactly when they said it would be. At the pickup window they had sanitized pens for signing my receipt. And all my food was packed up in a short cardboard box which made it really easy to bring back to my car. I ordered both hot food and soft serve and wasn't sure how they were going to handle the latter. They made my dipped cone ahead of time and had it ready to go in the ice cream freezer. They're the only place I know of around here that has javaberry and it's so good!

i love this place especially their slushees and ricky limes in the summer time. the cheese pizza is magic so are the shoe string fries, mediterranean wrap and tenders. 32 flavors of ice cream and overall great place ... I just wish they would deliver down the street to cambridge. we need ya over here

This is my absolute go-to place for the most delicious and inexpensive cheeseburger. Any season. Every season. And they also deliver! Great vibe. Young kids wait on you , eagerly piling toppings on your old fashioned soft serve , sherbert , or scooped ice creams. The owners are brothers and work there all the time. Wonderful guys. Don't miss the fries!

Celebrity is the best place I've ever gone they have the best seafood the best burgers the best pizzas not mentioning soft serve and real ice cream the staff is very friendly the owners go out of their way to please and have conversations with the customer to make sure everything is what they asked for I have lived in Watertown for 39 years from day one they open I always go there I recommend the food and the ice cream to everyone

Got a clam plate, side of onion rings, and a raspberry lime rickey for the staggering price of almost 50 bucks. The fries were overcooked, onion rings weren't great, the clams weren't awesome, and the raspberry lime rickey's soda tasted like the machine hadn't been cleaned in a while. Tasted pretty stale and gross. Was in Watertown working, thought it might be good, but it wasn't at all. Felt pretty ripped off, actually. A co- worker got a wrap which he said wasn't good and the clam chowder he said was extremely watered down. If you want good clams, fries, and onion rings go to Tony's Clam Shoppe on Wollaston Beach. That's the real deal.

THIS PLACE IS GREAT. We had Sicilian pizza with sweet sausages and peppers. Delicious. Gave us plates, forks, and knives without us even having to ask. THERE IS A PATIO OUTSIDE! With plenty of tables and umbrellas that light up at night! Cool spot. They had a girl in training at the register and he was very patient with her. The manager (or owner maybe?) is a very sweet guy. Doesn't mind kids. The staff appears to all be friendly. The place was consistently busy and they did a phenomenal job moving people in and out. THEN WE HAD ICE CREAM AT THE SAME PLACE! Awesome soft serve! Tons and tons of flavors and swirl options. They made everything exactly how we asked for it. Everything is made to order. Nothing is just sitting around in a heat lamp out front. BONUS: there's a kids playground, basketball court, full baseball field for kids RIGHT NEXT DOOR! We highly recommend this place for anyone and their families. They didn't even mind people bringing their dogs out back to eat with them. A+ for this place. Really good impression for our first visit.

I grew up in New York City, in the very wonderful borough of Queens, home to the Ice King, frio frio carts, Italian icee vendors, and an abundance of Mr. Softee trucks. I got all of my soft-serve ice cream growing up from Mr. Softee, whose sweet jingle forced me out of my house...and gave me the best exercise ever. I used to chase that truck for blocks until it stopped for me. Anyway, Celebrity Pizza & Dairy is reminiscent of my youth. I have only ever come here for ice cream. Growing up, I would get vanilla with rainbow sprinkles in a cone, and now that I have celiac disease, I have ditched the cone for a cup, and I find myself yelp-ing the places that can accommodate my ice cream desires. This is by far my favorite soft service ice-cream in the Greater Boston Area. The servings `are large and generous and the pricing is very affordable. Also, while I haven't had any of their greasy items, I've noticed that those servings are also quite large and decently priced. It's a nice place to go on a summer day. It reminds me of the tiny ice cream shops along the Boardwalk in Queens and Brooklyn. I definitely recommend this to anyone wanting ice cream in West Cambridge, Watertown, and Belmont. Parking right outside with a few spots available and ample outdoor seating for its size.

It's ok. Maybe it's because I had too high of expectations. It's so hard to find soft serve in this area, and I was hoping this place would be a fun substitute for the classic beach snack-shack soft serve. My vanilla dip soft serve cone was creamy but bland. No flavor at all. The onion rings were also very bland, tasted like they were bought from the freezer aisle. Not awful, it's a good location next to a playground so it's great for kids, but I was hoping for more flavorful food.

I've tried everything from their place and ordered both delivery and in-person. I highly recommend the scallops, fried chicken wings, fried chicken sandwich, clam chowder, and strawberry shortcake sundae. TRY THE CREAMSICLE AND JAVABERRY.. Chocolate dipped... If you don't like to eat off a cone, they can flip it into a cup for you after being dipped. Do it. Now. Honestly, even with delivery, the food never came soggy. All the fried food was still piping hot and crispy. I've ordered almost every day for about two months (yes I like to eat my feelings) and they've delivered perfect, excellent food 99% of the time. I leave that 1 percent for weekends when it's absolutely insane over there. Delivery is super fast as well. I am so damn impressed with them - ! Best service and excellence in their niche. So glad they're in the neighborhood!

Wish I could give this place ZERO stars. Went it and waited in line. Had my less than ten pound dog with me (who apparently went unnoticed the entire time) . Incompetent staff (some young mousey girl) tells me as I finally get to the counter that she refuses to serve me because I can't have my dog in the "restaurant" with me (didn't realize an ice cream shack was a restaurant). Tells me to "tie my dog outside"... lol real nice. The best part is that when we were arriving a woman and her much larger dog were walking out. The mouse behind the counter had nothing to say about that. I'm so happy I didn't get the chance to give this dirty "restaurant" my money. Have already told my friends not to bother with this place anymore. Perhaps you should train your preteen staff on customer service or make it clear that you don't allow ALL dogs in your shack.

We are from out of town and searched everywhere for a pizza shop that was open on Sunday evening. We came across Celebrity, the food was great, service was friendly and quick! Thanks!

Okay so I had a craving for pizza and Celebrity is just around the corner. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza to go and it was piping hot and full of cheesy goodness like me! The crust was perfect - - crisp yet chewy. And a big slice was only $2.15. The pizza wasn't greasy like Upper Crust's pizza can be. Now I see how they got the "pizza" in their name. :)
