"Located in the pretty Cathedral Quarter, this intimate restaurant comes with rustic décor, a black and white tiled floor and a buzzy vibe – all wrapped up inside a lovely 19th-century sandstone building. Top Scottish produce features heavily in the consummately seasoned Italian dishes, where pasta takes the lead; do yourself a favour and order the terrific beef fat potato strati as a side if they're available. For drinks, why not opt for their homemade vermouth, limoncello, coffee liqueur or kombucha, then stay overnight in one of the rooms?" - Michelin Inspector

Had an absolutely stunning meal here last night. It’s now my favourite restaurant in Glasgow. The upstairs dining room is so beautiful and has such a wonderful atmosphere - there is nowhere like it in the city. Lovely rustic decor, great background music, and candlelight helps create a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and recommended a lovely white wine. The two pasta dishes we had were the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had - just an amazing combination of flavours and textures. Lots of options for vegetarians and pescatarians. A really special place and perfect for a romantic date or to celebrate a special occasion.

Popped in for lunch on a Sunday while exploring the cathedral. The price felt a little steep for a two course meal (it was a fixed price menu on sundays) but the food really blew us away. It was beautiful and delicious. Have recommended to our Glasgow guide. One of our best dining experiences in Scotland!

Just left from a family meal and from making the reservation over the phone until paying the bill, the service was simply phenomenal. The gent who waited our table this evening (we didn’t catch his name unfortunately) was absolutely 1st class, exceptionally friendly and had a really lovely nature. The food was absolutely exceptional and after multiple rounds of various cocktails, the bar staff deserve a big shoutout as well! A great choice if you’re looking for something a little different from your average flavour pairings, would highly recommend!

We came across this place while we were looking around the cathedral. We thought it was an Italian restaurant and so it will have Italian dishes along with good service and well dressed staff. But in reality it was totally opposite. The menu was very different and barely had any Italian touch and dishes. We went on Sunday and they had a set menu which was not really an English menu nor Italian. Atmosphere was posh with a candle lit on every table but some of the staff were in shorts which I find very unusual. We ordered vegetarian pasta which was tasty and different. However the overall experience didn't meet the expectation. Plus if you are not an Italian restaurant then don't name it as an Italian restaurant.

Amazing Italian cuisine with a twist by a South African.chef. Great experience from antipasti to desserts. Eva is an impeccable host and Dave a great cocktail mixer, Dirty Martini not to be missed.

We had a glorious dinner here. The place has such a cozy, buzzy vibe, tucked away in the beautiful Cathedral Quarter — the old sandstone building just adds to the charm. The food was incredible. You can tell they use top-quality Scottish produce, and the pasta was honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time. If you can, definitely order the beef fat potato strati — it’s insanely good.

Wow. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in years. The quality of the food and service is just excellent. The menu is smart and sophisticated. The service is charming, knowledgeable and efficient and all this comes together to create a wonderful dining experience. I loved the building too. Congratulations to a clearly very talented team. Will return for sure and soon.

Celentano’s is a lovely place to stay & eat, well worth the walk from Central station. It’s quiet, comfortable & thoughtfully designed to be relaxing. My room was large & bright with everything I needed for a relaxing stay, including a delicious breakfast. At the last minute I decided to have supper at the restaurant (this was a Friday night) & staff found me a table straightaway, although they were clearly busy. The food was next level. The memory of the Kimchi Doughnuts lives on in me & the dessert (Rye Choux Bun - Strawberry - Cherry Blossom - Black Olive - White Chocolate Cream) was indescribably delicious & served to me by the man who made it. I wish I hadn’t been alone, solely because I couldn’t quite justify a bottle of wine & none of the by the glass offerings were quite to my taste. A superb meal in a lovely restaurant, just steps from a comfortable bed. I slept super-well. Many thanks to all concerned. I felt welcomed & well-treated.
