"Arrive at the entrance to the multi-purpose Batteriet building and you will be led into an inner courtyard; here, the chefs greet you with welcome snacks, before showing you to your table in front of the open kitchen. Their cooking (and the décor) changes with the seasons and there is precision, balance and superb produce in each dish – epitomised by an immaculate, super fine tartlet filled with a tartare of Swedish beef. In a twist on the drinks pairing format, diners can choose between a wine, cocktail or soft drink at each course." - Michelin Inspector

2 New Three Star Restaurants in The MICHELIN Guide Nordic Countries 2024

"In Stockholm, this One Star kitchen works with great precision in an open setting on a generous tasting menu, offering a choice of wine, cocktail or soft drink pairing with each course." - The MICHELIN Guide Nordic Editorial Team

Amazing experience! The food was incredibly good, and I had one of the best citrus cocktails of my life. Watching the midnight sunset from the stunning rooftop was unforgettable definitely something you shouldn’t miss. Thank you to all the staff for being so friendly!

Oh what a beautiful place..!! In terms of food and service. Food was delicious. Service was outstanding. The servers are so well behaved and polite and the way they explain how each dish is prepared adds so much more to the whole experience. Cocktails were fabulous too. The bartender made it just so nice and chic. Loved every element. We didn’t taste the tasting menu but did alacarte order. Going back definitely to try tasting menu. Definitely going back and definitely recommend for an overall experience

I have mixed feelings I almost would like to keep This joint as a secret for myself. But that would not be fair to the staff or to other potential guests that want an excellent meal. Great menu, perfect precision, lovely taste and boutique wine yard type of wines that are crazy good. And we shouldn’t forget the cocktail bar. Been here twice and the reindeer was mind blowing.

This is a new review based on a more recent visit in November 2024. Not so attentive staff, serving the table with dirty wine glasses. Not folding the napkins when you leave the table. Serving food from the wrong side and placing glasses from the wrong side. Not worthy of a star in the guide. We started off with a Non Dosé Champagne 🥂 from Philipponnat and some amuse-bouches. The pairing of the broth and philipponnat wasn't the best choose in my opinion. Wine, Cocktail or Non alcoholic? The concept of being able to choose what to drink for each dish is a fun twist and as far as I know not so common amongst Michelin Restaurants. Good fun though! Regardless of your choice the drink/food experience was enjoyable and well worth the 3+ hours we got to spend with Celeste's lovely staff. Bottom line, I don't think they really want that star. My choice managing that restaurant would be to stay at a Bib gourmand level and continue to have fun. Photos for first and second dine.

An attractive rooftop bar, complementing the restaurant, which serves inventive and well-balanced cocktails with unique spins on traditional classics. The stunning view enhances the atmosphere, but be mindful that seating might be limited if the weather isn't conducive for outdoor sitting. The clientele tends to be somewhat older compared to other bars in the area. The food offerings, though, could use some improvements in terms of balance, but the drinks are superb.

The food was disappointingly bland and the service was much below expectations, not clearing the table, empty glasses (and very long waits in between dishes with no drinks or snacks on the table) and we were served beverages in dirty and broken glasses. They also forgot the cocktails for our table and the table next to us, so after the food was served on the table we had to ask for the cocktails and wait for them to be made and served a couple of minutes later (in a chipped and sharp glass). We have tried all Michelin restaurants in Stockholm in the last 12 months and this was by far the worst experience. The restroom was a real mess and throughout the evening there was a constant flow of drunk and loud bar goers from the adjacent bar walking past the tables to head to the restrooms. I do not recommend trying this restaurant.

The menu I had was made of 10 incredible dishes with a wonderful non-alcoholic pairing. The only "deception" I had was with how salty the langoustine was. The familiar service is not what you'd expect when you taste the gastronomic food but it creates a really warm and cosy atmosphere. If they put their mind to it, they could definitely get a michelin star!

A mixed experience. The location is amazing with fantastic views of Stockholm in two directions. Food was very nice, although always disappointing spending 1000+ sek and still leaving hungry Sevice was very bad. We received no water until the main course. The pata negro we ordered two of was out or stock, but we were informed only reactively when we asked were it was. Drinks came in random order across the group, often waiting 5+ min. Took us 25 min from arrival until we got to order. Big step up needed here to motivate the price point.
