"Like any good speakeasy-themed bar, the door to Cellar 65 is easy to miss, hidden under stairs near its small parking lot. Downstairs from its mother restaurant, Miki and Kamal Bekkari’s Blissful Spoon, Cellar 65’s black walls are painted with Art Deco murals of a bygone era. Here, Kamal pairs his Moroccan dishes with creative cocktails in vintage-vibed glassware — dishes like warm olives with harissa and tangerine sweetness, or braised saffron chicken tagine that is juicy, tender, and served in the traditional namesake pot. Kamal’s version of Bastilla, a typical dish in the Mahgreb, wraps egg and chicken in a flaky phyllo dough burrito with a light dusting of cinnamon and sugar. Finish the meal with pavlova, crispy meringue encasing a light lemon curd with a generous serving of berries on top." - Barb Gonzalez

We went to the monthly special Moroccan dinner with wine pairings. What a fabulous evening. The food was amazing, and the wine pairings on point. The chef was available all evening to talk to, such a joy. The winery rep was so knowledgeable and personable. We can't wait to go back again.

Stopped in this place last night after having dinner with my wife and wanted a night cap. It was a hidden door around the back of the Blissful Spoon. You had down stairs to a super cute and cozy bar. The menu has a pretty good selection of new and classic cocktails. Didn't try the food but it sounded pretty good. It was pretty quiet but had nice conversation with a couple at the bar and the owner for awhile. Very nice person. The drinks were very tasty especially the Smokey Oaxacan! Will for sure come back and check out next time I'm in town.

This is the next “best kept secret” of Bend. There are plenty of high profile, high energy, high priced places to enjoy in Bend. When you want a chill, speakeasy vibe with wonderfully worldly food offerings, creative cocktails and Mocktails and a wine list to match your desires, this is the place. Tapas inspired offerings daily with a once monthly special dinner focused on a specific country. Past countries have been Morocco and Spain, upcoming towards the end of the month is France. For sure put this in your list of cool places to go when the high-energy, high-price vibe is not on your mind. Perfect for couples, small groups, private parties. Like I said - Bends Best Kept Secret and likely will stay super chill as finding it takes intent. Just below Blissful Spoon on Greenwood, very near the east side of the Newport Ave bridge. On the backside of Bend Brewing Co., same parking lot as Sen Hot Pot. Just use your map app to get there and look for the door under the stairs. Not for kids, not for wheelchairs. Yes for delicious.

Wow! Best meal, cocktail and dessert that I have had in Bend! Get here before everyone else discovers this gem. Outstanding customer service and cool speakeasy vibe. Bonus that they have a nice selection of nonalcoholic cocktails too. Thank you!

Great addition to the Bend scene. We loved our tapas and the creative cocktails. Cool atmosphere that would be good for a date or just a night out.

Fun out of the way spot for a date night or to catch up with friends. The food and drinks are attractive and delicious. It’s not the best speakeasy I’ve ever been to, but it’s a great addition to Bend.

The best dining experience I've had in in Bend. The Moroccan dinner tonight was exemplary. The wine pairing was on par with the food. The overall experience was totally delightful. Our hosts, delightful and truly know their passions.

I was visiting a friend in Bend, she had heard about a hidden gem,Cellar 65. Such a cute place, very inviting. I had an expresso martini and their hummus, both delicious! The owner was so friendly ,his daughter painted the 2 ladies on the wall, really nice. I will definitely go again.

Yelp
So first of all....how fun to sneak around a corner and find a little place to walk into!? I must say though, it was difficult to find the front door! Once we did, it was a cute little cubby down under another restaurant. It felt like going into a speakeasy. Kind of fun! We ordered the Ricotta & Romesco and the Burrata to share. The Ricotta was nothing yo write home about. Kind of plain with crusty baguette. However the shaved fennel was seasoned deliciously and I could've eaten a mountain of that. The Burrata was fantastic. Creamy, garlicky, the tomatoes were perfect and the arugula added a nice pepper to everything. We went to Cellar specifically because they had Mocktails on the menu and the one my friend wanted they didn't have the ingredients for. That was disappointing, but she ordered the Summertime and she said it was "nice", but "nothing special". I had a glass of La Griveliere and I would describe it the same way. Ha. Lastly, we ordered the Death by Chocolate and the Sticky Date Pudding. They were both dry and very blasé. Kind of a bummer way to end your meal. All and all, it was a cute little spot, but I don't know that I will return. To me, it was all to run of the mill for me to spend my money on.

Yelp
Cute romantic place and good for getting away from busy Friday night in Downtown Bend! They have cocktails and mocktails for the same price. The food here is excellent. We shared Saffron chicken tajine. The chicken is tender and goes so well with aromatic herbs. Don't forget to try sticky date pudding. It is tasty with caramel sauce.

Yelp
I've never given a poor review, but... Service: meh... a good start should have been a friendly greeting, not "what are you drinking". Never bring the entre while guests are only half way through eating the appetizer. Food: Chicken tagine was very good. Everything else was barely edible. Drinks: my Old fashioned was barely average, and overpriced... Dear Irene's is far better for far less. Ambiance: half the room is darkened as it should be, while the other half is well lit... weird. It felt like dining in an unfinished basement rather than a speakeasy. No need to return with so many better choices in Bend.

Yelp
My wife got the "midnight in Marrakesh" - sweet but not too sweet! And I got the "Bootlegger" - amazing and not sweet at all! Cellar 65 for the win! Great vibes and friendly staff!

Yelp
We went there last night to celebrate a friend's 80th birthday. The ambiance is excellent. As you descent the stairs look at the interesting lightwork on the ceiling. The artwork on the walls was done by the owner's 11 and 14 year old daughters--they are spectacular. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Drinks were excellent. What more can I say. And they have mocktails if that's in your repertoire. We will definitely return.

Yelp
Blissful Spoon upstairs, evening cocktails at Cellar 65. No real reason to leave this is an authentic place run with passion and care. It is a *must visit* in downtown Bend.

Yelp
This is a great new place in Bend. Cool speakeasy vibe. Cocktails that are beautiful and delicious, with some great top shelf items to sample. Small but carefully curated menu meticulously crafted by the owner. I really love this place.

Yelp
Try the Midnight in Marrakesh. You won't be disappointed. Amazing atmosphere and drinks.

Yelp
Cozy, hidden vibe. Great cocktails, friendly staff. And gf food options. Only wish the place was a tiny bit bigger with more seating.
