"This unabashedly dog-friendly wine pop-up is a favorite among dog owners throughout the city. Once a stand-alone wine bar, Cellar Dog now pops up regularly on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at Sellwood’s Plural Collective, with frequent special events like daytime small dog mimosa socials. Wine is sold by the bottle as well as by the glass, from a fun assortment of mostly North American wineries. And even in a dog-loving town like Portland, Cellar Dog may take the cake — er, biscuit — by offering dog walking services." - Michelle DeVona, Nathan Williams, Eater Staff

"It’s honestly surprising it took Portland as long as it did to open a dog-focused wine bar, but Cellar Dog is just that. The stylish, industrial dining room and patio cater to dog owners and dog enthusiasts, and the glass menu is small but distinctive, highlighting primarily Oregonian and Californian producers. With its Wines That Align initiative, each glass purchase gives back in some way or another, whether it’s donating to LGBTQ+ organizations or benefitting endangered animal conservation. Diners can drink to a good cause while letting their four-legged friends get some fresh air." - Alex Frane, Zoe Baillargeon

Super cute little wine bar in Sellwood! Easy to miss as it's tucked behind Relish. The owner was so nice and sweet. Dog friendly as they get - barking allowed! Wine was priced well and delicious plus she supports different causes and gives back a portion of her proceeds.

We really enjoyed our afternoon at Cellar Dog! It felt like old times before COVID. Jenn, the owner, went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and warm, even though we were outside following all the social distance guidelines. The tent she set up sheltered us from any wind and/or rain, and she set up a heating lamp too:). Also, we were able comfortably social distance from another couple and their two dogs. Not-to-mention the wine was fabulous and supports so many wonderful-local causes!

Yelp
Came here to meet up with my dogs sibling and get some wine. First off this place is CUTE! It's tucked off the street so it feels private and also safe if you have a dog that might bolt. It's dog friendly, and I mean it's a place built for dogs, by dog people. The staff are amazing, hold great conversations and even better serve great wine!!

Yelp
The owner, Jenn is super cool and friendly. They offer a good selection of unique wines that support different causes AND I mean they allow dogs inside!! Finding a place where I can chill with my fur baby *inside* and enjoy a glass of wine is rare and this places checks all the boxes.

Yelp
I was out on my evening walk with my dog dreaming about what kind of wine I was going to enjoy this evening and I stumbled upon CellarDOG! Such great fate! CellarDOG has been open for about a month and is beyond cool! Their wine selection is extensive and they have partnered with winemakers in the region affordable price points. The owner, Jenn & Brad are extremely personable and engaging. They are clearly genuine dog lovers. They donate a portions of the proceeds to some of my favorite nonprofits. Pixie Project is one of the nonprofit they support. In addition to wines, they also sell dog collars and toys that are made locally, dog treats made by Jenn, dog beds and other gifts Bring your dog and friends and support this beautiful wine experience You can find them on Instagram, Facebook and of course, on Yelp! https://www.cellardogwoof.com

Yelp
Super friendly and nice wine selection. Enjoyable patio off the Main Street. We enjoyed our time and will be back.

Yelp
I was walking by on the weekend in Feb '21 when Portland was covered in snow. I saw their, "Wine + Dogs" sign and thought, "I gotta check this out." The couple behind the counter were fantastic: welcoming, knowledgeable about their wines, and really just all you'd want when looking to have a glass of wine with friends. The fact that ALL of their wines give back to great causes puts this lovely little place over the top. Now, they're easy to miss because the shop is not immediately on the street. It's worth the extra second or two to find them, though, and I've now found a locally-owned place where I can get nice wines that are doing nice things. - Oh, and puppies/dogs/woof! Seriously, what's not to love?

Yelp
We were looking for a dog friendly wine bar and we found exactly what we envisioned. This local wine shop is perfect for you if you crave friendly owners, great charitable wine purchases, and just over all chill vibes! Would recommend to anyone even those without fur babies.
