Cellarman's Pub & Brewery

Great food, especially their pizza and fish tacos! Frindly wait staff. Eclectic pub decor, great place to relax and hang out with family and friends. Indoor and outdoor dining. Local favorite. Great drinks served, including from their own on-site brewery. Parking can be a little crowded. But there are two shopping centers that can handle extra parking needs.

Came because google said it was a dog friendly place. We sat in the patio it had fans and was shaded. Our server greeted us right away and asked if our dog wanted water and brought her a bowl. We ordered ciders and beers. The pretzel and beer cheese along with bbq chicken pizza was delicious. Our friends ordered baked potato and they are huge along with fish the chips but substitute for side salad an order of the pizza fries. Our friend said the fish was a bit too cooked slightly burned. My review is off of my food and own experience and I enjoyed the pretzel which was soft and pretty good size and beer cheese, the bbq chicken was delicious we ordered a personal size to share. My husband and I devoured our meals. Would definitely come again.

What a fun hidden gem! The food is pretty good. Great selection and variety of classic bar food. Brewery is great too! It’s a must try and must stop. Staff was wonderful! We will be back!!!

Love this place! Every time I go to sherman I stop here for brunch/dinner. So far everything on the menu has been great and consistent- I visit a few times and year and have yet to have a bad meal/ experience. The staff is always friendly. I've tried the chicken sandwich, philly cheesesteak, Buffalo wings, fries, fried pickles and mushrooms. They have all been fantastic but my favorite so far is the Buffalo wings. The strawberry alchahol slushie was fantastic, i think it's a daquari. There is so much on the menu that looks great, I will keep coming back to try it all! Thanks to all the staff for what yall do, you add some excitment to my work trips and give me something to look forward to ❤️

They’re a little bit pricey for a pub type restaurant but damn are they good. The atmosphere is great too. Designed in a kind of a split environment/layout type of way to where you can feel safe and welcome whether your a family with kids or some college kids trying to watch a game and turn up. Drinks are strong, food is good, environment is a vibe. You won’t hate it.

Couldn’t believe this happened to… ABSOLUTE WORST experience came in at night restaurant was pretty busy and did not get served for over 30 minutes which is understandable. We moved outside to see if we could get some attention outside but still we were ignored by servers. No one even came to check on us for drinks. Finally after being ignored by 4 servers, we flagged a server down and had to get her attention. She came up to us and was like “did you guys need to order?” At this point we were frustrated and just wanted to order. So we reasoned with “yes, we haven’t got menus and have been waiting for more than 40 minutes”. We put in our orders finally with hopes of finally getting our food it was already about to be 11 PM at that point. We wait for another 10 minutes just sitting no drinks mind you we only ordered waters. The server comes back and apologizes and lets us know that the kitchen is closed and she didn’t know. This was extremely annoying, unprofessional, and frustrating. At this point we were just hungry and annoyed. Everyone else was helped at the restaurant except us and we just so happened to be the only people of color in the restaurant. Honestly very disappointing experience we have been to this pub before and did not have this experience. Would not recommend going here so unprofessional and servers are dishonest. There is no way that servers would not know when the kitchen is closing.

Great atmosphere and service. The fried shrimp was exceptional! The batter was a one-to-one ratio equal part shrimp equal part batter. The Cod was white and Flaky the batter was a good beer batter that was also a good ratio. All of the fried oysters were a good size none of them were very small. The pizza is always good here you cannot go wrong. The Oysters Rockefeller was very cheesy with good size oysters! The calamari included tentacles and heads which was a nice refreshing change and very well battered with good taste.

For a pub, this place has great food! Delicious meals and appetizers. The vibe is great too! Very chill and relaxed. Our favorite beers were Loco Lima, Cowboy breakfast stout, and the caramel one. Loco Lima is one of the best beers I've had in a long time. We enjoyed garlic pwrnesan fries. The fried mushrooms are the crispiest I've ever had. Loved the tandoori chicken salad, goat pizza, and Baja fish tacos. A great experience!

What a cool place! The ambiance is casual-pub fun! Homemade sodas and beers. Great food and service. We started with fried green beans and fried jalapeños. The green beans stole the show. I'd go back simply for those and a Texas pecan beer. We tried the hangover burger, spinach artichoke pizza, crawfish pizza (The Beef g Easy), and fried oysters. Everything was delicious. The pizza crust was amazing. I've never had seafood on pizza, and enjoyed the experience.

Well..... After the third try of sitting on a table and waiting about 15 minutes for anyone to greet me or tell me if I need a little help front. Or getting a money for myself I think i'm given up. My very first time I came in to hear. How about too much ago? Was someone pleasant comma I would see the timely comma given a menu and my order taken period I got my pizza which was pretty good and as well as my flight obears which I found on satisfactory after hard day's work Forward to today, about two months later and three different times I guess I wasn't enough people at the table to be noticed period. So if you are from out of town or have them get more and want to try this place, make sure you are at 1 person by themselves. Because they don't seem to like their tables, take it up. I'm not sure what's going on but sayanara. This is a small town but there's still more and better choices. The parking lot is very cramped/ limited to finding a parking place if you happen to catch the wrong time of the rush and not to mention it's dark, Lot of electricity saved by not having outside lighting.

Been here twice now and it's a must in the area. Ambiance and food are spectacular, haven't had a bad experience with that yet. Staff is busy and running around like crazy so not always the best service but it's great that they are busy! Will definitely be returning in the future for some great drinks and food.

Stopped in here during a storm chasing trip. It was worth the trip down from Durant to check this place out. The menu has a lot of great stuff on it and they have a good number of interesting beers on tap. The bartender (guy with a beard) was very friendly to this out of towner. The chili was excellent. I look forward to going back here the next time I'm in town. Great vibe, friendly folks.

Absolutely delicious!!! The reason service was wonderful was only because we had the lovey quick and very efficient Kaylea. We had the Calamari which was cooked very well and paired with three different sauces. Pizza was custom made to our liking and ingredients were fresh and cooked to perfection. Very good restaurant upscale type bar/pub type food. Must give a try!

Classic good ole pub vibe. Enjoyed the food, wings, brick oven pizza, too many beers on tap to mention. Looking forward to our next visit.

Service was good. She forgot my drink but apologized. Food was hot! And just okay. Chili tasted very acidic.

We visited Cellarman's on the recommendation for someone we will no longer take recommendations from. I had the fish and chips and one of the fish pieces was so over cooked it was inedible, fish jerky with a burnt coating. My wife had a salad which she said was okay. The dining area was kind of dark and the very noisy making to visit. The tables weren't very clean. The men's room was okay other than the trash can was overfilled.

Had lunch at Cellermans yesterday. And was not disappointed. We had some battered and fried green beans and they were fantastic! I had never had them before and they were so good! We also had fried mushrooms and they were great also. I had a cheeseburger and onion rings. The cheeseburger was delicious and the onion rings were some of the best I ever had. The waitress we had was so friendly and she took very good care of us. The service was great! And the restaurant had that laid back feeling and was a place I felt very comfortable in. Great overall experience.

1st time here, and probably the last. We got a pizza and beer and the pizza was over cooked/burnt and not very many toppings. The service was awful. The gal never came back to check on us, and finally when we wanted to leave that took another 15 minutes to try and get her attention. The place inside was ok, freezing cold and the music was way too loud. Way overpriced for what you get.

Not as good as it was. Pizza way underdone drinks just meh. 3rd time I've "given them another chance". Not running back sorry.

Love this place! The staff was amazing and super helpful. We ordered 2 flights so we could sample several beers, and all of them were unique and delicious. The pizza was a nice thin crust, and a personal size was more than enough for 2 to share. Will definitely visit again.

Just driving through, food was absolutely great. We got the fish and chips, cowboy burger, and goat burger, all great. The service was fast and good. The vibe was really cute for a pub. Would recommend to anyone coming through.

This place executes the American pub concept very well. We came here around 7:30pm on a Friday evening and it was very vibrant inside as you would expect a pub to be. The front room can be a bit crowded but there's an outdoor area and a side area that is a little more chill. I tried there cream ale and was quite pleased; very delicious and had that creamy feel you'd expect. I ordered the fish and chips which was a pretty large portion with three filets. It came with tartar sauce and ketchup though I would say not having the malt vinegar served with it made me a little sad; I should have asked if they had it. The coleslaw was good too. I did order the clam chowder too. It was above average, very buttery and well seasoned. I would have preferred a little more clam and potato for texture so it was a little more runny than I'm used to. Will defiantly hit this spot again if I'm in the area.

Been there twice. The focus seems to be more of a bar that happens to have food. Staff is friendly in a way but will let customers overindulge if the tips keep coming. Noisy inside, smokey and drunky on patio. The fish and chips are amazing but is it worth the rest of the crap? The house beer is really good, but again is it worth it? Waitstaff has learned tiny tight shorts = better tips from tippsy guys. Service is slow consistently. I see so much more this place could be than just a bar with food, call Cheddars management and ask for some pointers, clean up the place and quit being so cheap, when I am spending 100 dollars for a table of 4 I expect my extra tartar sauce to not cost more and my refill of Root beer to be included. I really want to like the place but I just can't.

This was my first visit because I graduated from AC in 1994 and it opened in 98. It's a little confusing at first due to the layout, but once inside, you're in for a great time. From what I could understand, the crowd was a mixture of locals and probably some students. Nonetheless, the loaded baked potato was off the charts amazing as was the service. I'm literally still dreaming about that potato right now.

Great food and outstanding beer! So good... it makes you keep wanting to go back and join the club!

5* for food and service 5* atmosphere Growler warning last Buffalo boneless wings were good and such a great portion that a personal pizza was more than enough. We built our own with sausage and mushrooms. Great pizza. A variety of items on their menu, can not wait to be tried. Parking lot seemed full but we got an easy spot. Plenty of room inside so don't be turned off if it seems crowded from the outside, plenty of seats to be found. We took a growler to go but made two mistakes, first being not trying the beer first. Not a favorite by a long shot. The Loco Lima was just too much lime and not enough beer. The second was taking the growler without making sure the lid was closed. I now know to give it a good tightening before laying on the carpet rolled in my sweater. Sweater can be washed, car smelling a little stale.

Fish batter is extremely bland. Good coleslaw, average fries. With tip $20 Best to not get your fish to go, it'll be soggy by the time you get to your destination and ruins the crispy batter you were hoping for

Very cool little hidden gem. This place is a dive bar with amazing food and a huge list of craft beers. We stopped by on a rainy evening, 8 hours into our road trip home from Kansas City. We wanted a quick bite to eat to power through the rest of our drive and this spot was perfect. There was a Stars game on and the place was packed but we were able to find seats at the bar. We were quickly greeted by the friendly bartender who gave us great food and drink recommendations. Everything was delicious. My husband is obsessed with "The Goat" pizza. I loved the appetizer nachos with fried jalapeños. Fish and chips were good but a little underdone (wet batter on the inside). This place still gets 5 stars for environment, food, and service. We live an hour away but will absolutely return.

Bar service was great. Oyster Rockefeller was amazing!! Would have ordered 2 full plates of it as main meals. Just fantastic all around.

We're regulars and love everything on the menu! Avery is our fav server- she never gets it wrong! Josh the cook is the man too! Try the goat cheese crostini's! Nom Nom nom!

Very popular pub. Makes many choice beers and the pizza is awesome... You pay more for being there but it's worth it

Great place, great food, friendly atmosphere! Never been disappointed in my meal! We got the Pizza Fries as an app, and I got the Triple Pepper Italian Sausage pizza, and it was delicious as usual.

As you can read in my other reviews, finding consistently good restaurants in the Sherman/Denison area has been remarkably difficult. But I keep trying, keeping as much away from the chains as I can, really wanting to support local. So when I drove by Cellarman's, I had to look up the menu. It's dubbed an American Pub and the menu is loaded with examples of that. I didn't attend during the weekend, so it wasn't packed like I've read, but the food, the service, the ambiance and the overall experience were better than I've received at most restaurants in this area. All the food was hot, fresh and delicious. The service was very attentive too. At this point, my biggest compliment I can give a Sherman/Denison restaurant is, "I will eat there again." And, believe me, it's been difficult to say that at most restaurants in this area. Cellarman's easily achieved that.

I'm only giving 1 star because of the horrible appetizer. The pizza was delicious, I'd give that 5 stars. But whoever serves chewy dry wrinkles up jalapeños and then burned them should be reprimanded. I want my $10 back!!!!

Service was great, but the place is so noisy, it was hard to enjoy ourselves. The chef salad was good except for the giant chunks of red onions. We ordered a Ruben to share, because friends told us how good they are...well, I disagree, couldn't taste the corned beef, at all. Very disappointed

Food is always consistent and delicious!! It is loud because it is a pub - but the food and beer are always amazing!!

Last time I came in a few months ago and sat at the bar and server came up and I asked for a sample of beer which she gave me then walked off and never bothered to see if I wanted to order it so I got up and saw her gabbing with someone she knows so I walked, there's a definite difference in service in different places in the area .... if they know you and if they don't

Beer was ice cold and the bkue cheese burger was fantastic staff was great we be back soon for more options

What a super cool place!!! Reminds me of a genuine Irish pub. The food menu has a great selection and the drink and beer menu too!! We enjoyed the goat cheese crostini...I enjoyed the sautéed onions, balsamic glaze, honey and of course the goat cheese. I want more goat cheese!!! Haha...my friend and I split the GIGANTIC chicken fried steak. It was the size of the plate. Food was hot, drinks were nice and cold...service was friendly and quick. Bathroom was clean as well. Overall a great place, I would like access to WiFi in order to access the QR code menu easier. But a paper menu was brought out since I couldn't access the QR code, which I would rather a paper menu anyway. It was a good outing and I look forward to going again to try other things on the menu

GREAT FOOD! We ordered the meat eaters pizza and it was AMAZING!!! The only reason for four stars was the noise. Other than that exceptional restaurant!!!

Worst service ever received. Our waitress said my id was fake, when it was not. The manager was also very rude. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Dark pub atmosphere! Good beer selection and yummy food. Enjoyable! Arrive early on game days.

This place is pure chaos--which I'm a fan of. People were crying at the bar, cute, little, old ladies with Kentucky Derby type hats, stinky people that worked outside all day, bartenders getting drunk while on the job, redneck music blaring, and Billy Bob watching NASCAR on the TV. THEY HAD IT ALL. Oh, and the fried green beans were good.

Ordered an extra cheese pizza. Pizza was not good. so plain tasting. Has high hopes - disappointing

We went here Thursday night for dinner. The parking lot was jammed packed which is a good indication of good food and/or drinks. Walk in and seat yourself they do not have a hostess. Shortly after we were seated a waitress came over to welcome us and provide food and drink menus. We had shrimp and chips and fish and chips which were both pretty good! They have plenty of daily drink specials for well and beer drinkers. Next time we're taking a Lyft there so we can both enjoy the drink specials.

Flies everywhere while we were eating. I had to use the menu to fan away the flies the entire meal. Ketchup was weird and vinegary. If there wasn't flies I would have give it a 3 star. Fish and chips was the best. Food and beer was ok.

The food was excellent. Our server Sarah was a blast. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is awesome. We will definitely eat there again.

Stopped by here driving through. Their beer is good they make there themselves I had the Millie vanilla porter which was really good and my wife had the witslayer. Nice customer service and very relaxed environment.

What a great little treasure in Sherman. We went with a local friend and so glad she shared it with us. Pizza flavors were great. Goat cheese appetizer delicious!! Can't wait to come back.

The service was amazing, the beer was buttery the wings were delicious and delectable. I would recommend for a good meal with a good drink. The place was nice and spotless.
