Not going to lie, everything was excellent except for when I was being rung at the register before I received the service. I was asked, "would you like to tip," and I noticed the tip jar.
I know this divides people, but it really got me thinking. Is the register tip jar for the person ringing me up? Does this person also help with the actual laundry? Is the money from the tip jar also being shared with others in the back? Are they not getting a living wage? This all goes back to- "where do we draw the line with tips?"
They left out a pair of shorts, which I was lucky to catch. The same register person said, "is that all that's missing?" I said, "yes," because I honestly don't keep track of what I dropped off, and I just happened to remember the shorts.
The shorts were found right away and delivered, so I really appreciate that.
The clothes came back great, turn around time impressive. Call me cheap, but that tip comment just really turned me off, since I was dropping off and picking up myself. I was looking forward to dropping off my quilt regularly, but now I'm a bit hesitant. Maybe I'm just a grumpy millennial.
