Celtic Conch Public House

This place was a lot of fun. We just had to visit because my husband's a huge Philadelphia Eagle's fan. We went to watch the AFC playoff game between the Bronco's and the Patriot's. I thoroughly enjoyed the Philly and fries. We also had the conch fritters while we were here. Everything was really good and served hot. The server and bartender are both from Philly so that just added to the experience. We will certainly come back again.

Decided to try Celtic Conch since it was right across the street from where we were staying (Even though they are an Eagles bar and we are Giants and Jets fans haha we don’t discriminate!) We were so pleasantly surprised with this place!! The food was excellent. Try the Colcannon Balls & the Philly Cheesesteak fully loaded with wiz. The bartenders were also amazing, Steph and Phoebe were super friendly and made us feel very welcome and always checked on us. Definitely recommend and we will be back!

A busy place but our server was great. One artist was outstanding and the second was way too loud and snarky when asked to turned down volume

We stopped in for a quick snack and were pleasantly surprised. The portions are generous and the food is quite tasty. The buffalo cauliflower bites were perfect! The service was friendly and fast. We’ll definitely stop in again the next time we’re in town. Great spot to get a snack and a drink.

The shepherds pie was very good, but wow, the service was appalling! There was only one other couple at the bar during Happy Hour and there could not have been a worse bartender serving me. She didn’t bring me the regular menu, only the Happy Hour menu, which is not a big deal, but it was an omen of what was to come. All she would talk about for 15 minutes while I waited for my food was the gory details of how sick she was-that she’d slept 14 hours the day before, that she was going to CVS to get sick supplies after work and she complained about how stuffy her nose was. There was no other bartender so I was forced to watch her take out (and contaminate) all of the glassware from the dishwasher, as she shoved her whole hand in it to polish it. She said she was going to have the French dip with au jus after work so, unfamiliar with the dish I asked her what it was. Her snide response was “it’s on the menu”. There was no description so I asked if the French dip was a sauce, she said it was a sandwich. I was going to ask her describe the au jus but she seemed bothered by my first question so I changed my mind. Another customer then asked if the rooftop bar was open. There was a large chalk board sign in front of the stairs that said “open” but rather than just politely responding with “yes” she said “there’s a sign right there.” The man looked uncomfortable then apologized. My bartender kept complaining about how late her relief worker was to me, while I prayed he would show up sooner rather than later. When she brought me a to go container she opened it by putting her hand inside. This was the icing on the cake. I can only describe the service as a horrible cocktail of rude, incompetent and gross. Despite the good food I will not be back. I hope the owner reads this and encourages his workers to call out when sick, or at least practice good food sanitation and not discuss their sickness with their customers 🤮

This Irish bar is a great representation of a solid bar experience in the Keys. We came in to watch a football game and sat at the bar. The place was packed downstairs and the one bartender was fighting for her life, but she made it look easy despite the circumstances. We had dinner seated at the bar and then joined some other friends upstairs for another drink and to finish watching the game (yes the rooftop also has TVs and a great view of all the action on the streets below.) We were delighted to find out they have live music on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. And the performer on Saturday night not only had a great voice but a catalog of hilarious songs so quintessentially Key West one could not help smile and sway. The food served all looked amazing. My chicken parmigiana was hearty and delicious.

Key West has so many great restaurants, so it's hard to pick a favorite. The food here is good, but I would have to say the beer sets it aside. You can get it served with a dark and light in the same glass. My wife loved her wings, and I had a large salad. The tables are lined up along the open windows, so you can people watch, though it's not on Duval Street, so it's fairly quiet.

Nice Irish style bar. Philly fans will be happy here. I got the Yellowtail Reuben sandwich and a Crazy Lady Blond Ale, a local brew. Reuben was delicious! Crispy bread with flaky fish and cole slaw and Swiss. Great place for lunch or dinner!

Sat on rooftop bar which was great. They have a bar up there. There's also a bar area, plenty of seating, and entertainment downstairs as well. Staff were SUPER friendly and attentive. They were able to answer questions about their menu, and were very attentive. The menu was typical pub food, as were the drinks. Boneless wings were good (lemon pepper), calamari was okay (wouldn't order again), and the cheesesteak egg rolls were good. They have interesting drinks with various combinations you may not have put together on your own. It was great trying them. The location is great and it's a nice place to grab a drink or a some bar food.

Just happened to come across this place while in Key West. I love a good Irish pub, and boy was this a good one. They had love music when we went, and the stage was behind the bar, which was super cool. I only had a beverage, but the black and tan was on point! Easily one of the best I've ever had. Service was good, but the server seemed to not be very knowledgeable about what they had there. However the bartender made up for it. This must be a local hangout for the crew of the Sebago, and they were so friendly. They offered us to come aboard the next day, but sadly we were flying out and couldn't. Everyone there was super friendly! I would definitely go back to try the food next time I'm there

Out new favorite KW bar. Annette is fricken awesome....great happy hour! Don't skip this place :)

Went to this bar to watch the Eagles game. The place was packed. Two minutes after walking in my friend and I were shoved and cursed out by a disgusting, foul mouthed female server who told us to "get the F out of her way".. completely caught us off guard. We located the manager/owner who could have cared less. Mid conversation, the server walked up interrupting our conversion.. she asked me if I wanted to go outside (fight?) and denied ever cursing at us. Pretty insane. We chose not to spend a single cent at this establishment and don't recommend it to anyone who is traveling into the area. There are a lot of options, don't waste your time unless you enjoy being cursed out by a trashy server who has obvious issues with the truth.

Stopped in for college football. Annette greated right away , introduced herself, asked me my name, and took my drink order. Sat at the bar. Other football fans greeted me despite being for Ohio State! I wanted a fish sandwich and was offered 3 types fish and 3 ways to cook it. I chose blackened mahi. Finally a proper fish sandwich in. Key West. A full fillet bigger than the bun with lettuce, tomato, and grilled onions. It was great. Annette called me by name and entertained with singing and dancing to the music. I'm putting this pub on my list to visit again!

Food is great, we had excellent service, a great Irish Pub in downtown Key West. Has the look and feel of the old style Irish Pub.

Great selection of Irish whiskeys and a great pour on Guinness. Miss Annette Foley, It was a great conversation and talk about Ireland. Come by for a good pour and their Shepards Pie made with lamb.

Stopped in to watch some football but they did not play game audio. It was not busy. Bartender took our orders at the table and food came out quick. Tried the egg rolls appetizer and a couple seltzers. A little pricey for what we ate/drank. Left to go watch the games somewhere else!

We walked in here with friends planning to grab just one drink at the bar. We ended up being there for over 4 hours! The bartender, Annette, was amazing! So funny and super friendly. We ended up finding out she was from the same town in Ireland as my mother-in-law and that really kicked off our time! It was our favorite experience on our trip! She joked around with us and was busting chops all in good fun (just like our family in Ireland)! We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to come back to see Annette! We also had cheesesteak egg rolls and potato skins which were really good. The entire atmosphere and experience was wonderful. Our group comes every year to Key West and this was our first time at Celtic Conch. We cannot wait to come back next year to see our favorite bartender! Thank you Annette for making us feel so comfortable and treating us like family!

Offered a Cider that they didn't have Made concessions with a poor substitute (some Irish Cider called Maguires(?) We split apps - very tasty (over priced) ....but it's the Keys so... 2 apps and one $7 yucky Cider + 20% = $39 Suggestions don't get the Cider Positive notes: waitstaff was friendly

Cute Irish pub with windows that open to the street for people-watching. Ordered a cider, which was Magners. It had no flavor We split the pretzel bites and loaded tots, both were very good. Pepsi products. Played mostly 70s and disco music. Happy hour they have half-priced appetizers.

Cool spot, especially if you're from Philly, but do NOT order car bombs here. They're $18 a pop for about 4oz liquid TOTAL. Not very Philly of them at all. Really disappointed about that. For more clarification, it's 3oz Guinness, and a shot glass that's 2/3 Carolans (not even baileys), 1/3 Jameson. Get a car bomb in Philly you'll pay $8 and get a full pint of Guinness with it. Still enjoy it here but wanted to let yas know! $$$$

So fun and festive restaurant. Loved the live rooster checking things out ... when in Rome - go with the flow. The menu was huge. The food and drinks were okay. I cane for the vibe and it didn't disappoint.

One of our favorites off Duval. Friendly staff and owners. If Mylo is playing you HAVE to go! Great musician!

We had a large group and got wonderful, PERSONAL, service! Our server was great and Annette added the personal touch. Live music was awesome. Can't wait to come back!

Friday afternoon I was at the downstairs bar. Cold draft beers with a buddy. Solid atmosphere. Clean and well maintained. But oddly, the bartender (female, short short blonde hair) was having a bad day. Kind of ruined the vibe. Then she started swearing at someone down towards the end of the bar. Whole place witnessed it. Rather awkward. Looked like a couple that walked in and then immediately left. Regardless. Great place to grab one drink and head somewhere else.

Food-has improved each time i visit Service- downstairs service is much better than upstairs. The Irish bartender Annette is a hoot! She knows her alcohol, makes exquisite drinks, and attentive. Hard working bartender for sure. Ambiance-you can get any more Irish than Celtic Conch. Irish bartender Irish music by Milo and Irish food. Just a cool place to stop in and feel like a local. One minor complaint though, get some Guiness Zero and Liquid Death water in your place for those of us who like to take a break from alcohol.

Service not great, food so-so...loud. Part bar, part restaurant/pub. Limited menu, mainly just to get people to buy booze. Too bad because it could be so much more.

The day bartender was fantastic super knowledgeable fun to talk to. We're going to Ireland this summer and she gave us lots of great tips really had a lot of fun but Guinness is amazing. Must stop in Key West. We didn't eat, but everyone around us said the food was Top notch Air conditioning was great and upstairs is fun.

Was drawn to this place cause I heard an ad on the radio advertising World Cup game watching specials. When I stopped in for a 2pm game I found it to be a bit quiet. Turns out they just opened about a month ago so it may take some time and word of mouth to get this place going. The problem was that they are extremely short staffed. There was one bartender and one cook for the entire bar. That's it. Further, the bartender was overworked and stressed out. I noticed he had a hard time from refraining from making snarky comments to his customers. Not good. One of the positives was that I ordered food and it was pretty tasty! I got the chicken Caesar wrap with fries $12. They need to get their act together though if they want to compete in Key West with so many other bars to choose from.

Such a great time! When Milo is playing, it's a must! He was fantastic! Great beers. Great vibes.

We didn't order any food, but the Celtic Conch has a great happy hour! 1/2 if Tito's, Espolon and a few other liquors. There are also many apps they are 1/2 off, but we weren't quite hungry yet. The bartender was friendly and took care of everyone in a prompt manner. The best part of Celtic Conch was the fun 70s music they were playing! I could listen to that type of music all night.

Your tender Annette was aggressive, disrespectful, and rude. We walked in on vacation, with smiles on our face, and were immediately greeted with an attitude. After checking out the reviews, sounds like we weren't the only ones to have an issue with her. The Keys are filled with pleasant people, I'm sure there's a better choice out there.

Worst service ever. The bar tender didn't take drink order in half crowded bar for 10 minutes. Then she tried to charge at end of shift 80 dollars for 3 beers. When I said it wasn't right she complained it was end of shift and she ran it. When I complained she tried to give 10 dollars from the till. I didn't take it. Very unprofessional. I am an eagles and Phillies fan so was excited to be there as the owners are great fans. I will never come back after the harsh treatment by this bartender. Recommend others seek other establishments.

Nice stop on your bar tour. Very pleasant in all ways. Friendly staff, not to loud, reasonable prices. Did not eat.

Disrespectful service by bartender Annette. After I paid my tab she confronted me about her tip and when I told her I'd plan on tipping her in cash instead of my card she kept arguing with me. She gave sass to every person in my party making everyone uncomfortable. We wanted to order more drinks but her disrespect towards everyone made that impossible. I'm a local who enjoyed going to trivia here every week but Annette told me to never come back. I'll never understand why she treated my group and I with such anger but reading through other review sites she has the same issues in the past with other guests.

I do genuinely love coming here. Good draft options and friendly bartenders, make for a pleasant experience at the bar. The food is excellent, really recommend the wings, so sitting at a table is a good choice too! I liked the music when I first started coming it was very upbeat but the past couple of times it's been oldies which I don't find contributes to the environment as well. Still a frequent place I stop, for good food, good beer, and good service. Love Phoebe and Trigger!

Nice live music on a Thursday night in the Keys. Walked in to roof top seating for a party of 3, orders were taken promptly. Typical Irish Bar food but gets the job done whether you want wings or burgers or something a little more Irish. A reliable pit stop for any of your greasy needs.

Stopped in on Wednesday, December 27th, for a quick dinner. What a pleasant surprise, too! We figured it would have a basic pub menu, which was fine, because we weren't looking for anything fancy. The food specials were really surprising and GOOD! Our server recommended the London broil. It's a good thing she said it was enough for two people because the portions were very generous, and it was only $26. Great service, food was excellent, and the musician playing that night was delightful. It's definitely worth a visit.

Stopped by for a beer and dinner since the place didn't seem very full. We understand why it wasn't full. I tend to think they were understaffed because some tables had leftover food and dishes. Service was slow and the food was less than desirable. It is a very loud place. It's our fault for not leaving when the place looked so disheveled. We would not go back again.

Great spot just off Duval. Irish Bar with a sports background. Lots of Irish sports flags and memorabilia. Great service and they have every Philly sports game on live. Eagles games are an event with tons of Eagles fans for games. Just had their Bar food stuff it is was good as well.

Nice place. Normally stop in for a bite or two if we are hanging out downtown. Annette's the best always takes excellent care of us. She always makes our visits fun!

Stopped here for lunch. Amazing bbq wings, lots of meat on wings and very tasty bbq sauce. The chicken Cesar salad had lots of chicken. I had a pub burger perfectly cooked and juicy with petite salad. Just know there are lots of thin sliced red onion on burger and salad. Service at bar was good, friendly bartender. Lots of tvs if you want to watch sports.

Delicious real fish and chips! It was worth the drive. They even had live music. Perfect for St. Patrick's Day vibes.

We were a very large crowd but the service was great considering it was a large party with no reservations. We were seated within a couple of minutes. Drinks were good!

Living in Key West I have a choice of 20 + bars at happy hour and I choose Celtic Conch . It has great happy hour food and fantastic happy hour drink specials . My ONLY regret is the ATTITUDE of one female bartender .She has consistently made me feel uncomfortable due to her rude and abrasive manner. I come to chill, NOT to be told off. I DO recommend the grill chick wings as well as other food and especially t.he welcoming attitude of other employees .I wish Celtic Conch a long life in KW. E...A....G....L...E...S

What a find. From what I hear they opened oct of 2022. Good happy hour, from 4-7, 50% off. Music was great an Annette our bartender was a hoot!! A must stop in. Food looked good also.

Great atmosphere right by Mallory Square away from the hustle and bustle of Duval Street. Server was really nice and gave fun recommendations on the best key lime pie in the area too! We got conch fritters and mozzarella sticks; conch may not be our thing, but they were really good!

Stopped by for an Irish Coffee... not the Buena Vista in SF, but Gabriel Donahue was amazing! Wonderful guitar player and singer!

Great food! Had the Phili Cheese steak quesadilla. Very tasty. Good selection of Irish and English beers. The bartender, Annette, takes this place to the next level. She is fun and personable.

We had the fish and chips and fried shrimp. We both loved our meals. I used to live in England and I can truly say the fish and chips taste amazing. I am mostly writing this review to commend our fabulous waitress Michele. She was covering the entire restaurant and still didn't miss any opportunity to check on us and get whatever we needed. Her manager was also very attentive. I watched the bartender, Annette, she was zooming around making sure everyone was happy and had a good beverage in hand. The service here is phenomenal!

Updating review because owner is sending me private messaged to never come back & the fake "server" claims we walked out on our tab when we never stayed in this establishment long enough to be greeted. I will never support a business who doesn't let us post our reviews without being threatened over private message and then replies to our reviews with blatant lies

Solid food, drinks, atmosphere and staff. Great location and well worth the trip over for a cold Guinness or Irish Whiskey!

Happy we were walking by and decided to go in. Friendly bar staff. Nice place. It was Wednesday and it was half price whiskeys. We definitely recommend.

If your a Philadelphia sports fan than this is a must stop. Food was good and the atmosphere was great for watching the Phillies and Eagles. I advice not to go to the roof top due to a noisy ac unit that ruins the vibe.
