You have GOT to check this place out if you’re looking for GREAT vegan Mexican food. These folks do it right. The proteins are all amazing, but you know a place hits it out of the park if you’re wishing your burrito had more beans/rice than asada. Cena, if you’re reading this don’t change your portioning! This is just a testament to how great your beans and rice are. The price is super affordable too, especially compared to the other pop-ups on the block and you get a lot more for your buck. Just beware that if you get your meal “spicy” it will be very very spicy. One time I cried through the entire meal. So I’d recommend going mild or medium (coming from someone who loves spice).

The nacho boats at Cena vegan are both delicious and plentiful! Like seriously, order to share if you’re having anything else with your nachos because they give you a TON for your money! The guac is fresh and creamy and the plant-based Al Pastor and Carne Asada are so so yummy! Also, say yes to that crema sauce, because it adds a great flavor to the nachos! Be careful when they ask you how spicy you’re looking for! They know what they’re doing lol

I love eating street food but never found any vegan ones. This place has super tasty mexican street style vegan food which even non vegans will love! It had the longest queue of people waiting to order the food which I have ever saw for a street food joint. I ordered the taco boat and it was really flavorful with pico de gallo and Chipotle cashew cream on top. Will definitely come here on my next LA trip!!

I was honestly very skeptical but it was the best burrito I ever had, so amazingly delicious, I want it again! Wish they were located in Hollywood

I had a vegan burrito tasted better than anything I had before. If you crave for tacos or burritos this is the place to experience the best.
