An amazing find. From the bread selection and every course there after was faultless. My partner who is vegan was also wonderfully accommodated for which made it extra special as this is not often the case. Pasta cooked to perfection and service friendly and professional. A meal we will remember for a very long time.

Happily, Cenere was right next door to our accommodations, and we made it our last meal of our holiday. What a special meal to go out on. We went for the four-course chef's meal with wine pairing, and it was all fantastic — and so much food! I can't imagine doing the six-course. The service was lovely and the space itself cozy — check out the basement for the "museum" part of it and another dining room.

Visited by accident in 2023 as we happened to be staying on the same street during a visit to Pompeii. We were wandering along the road to find somewhere for supper and came across this place. Just the most wonderful experience for a foodie, these people really get what it takes to create not only great food but also a great experience. The bread selection alone was worth stopping for! Please visit; modern Pompeii is not exactly awash with quality places to eat, so let's keep these folks in business 😁

We ate here on our last night in Pompei and were skeptic’s when we found the restaurant was empty but we left very satisfied. Our server was knowledgeable and professional with setting our table, serving and recommending wines, guiding us through each course. The food was very traditional and delicious with a touch of Pompei. They had great vegetarian options for me. I have eaten eggplant parmigiana all over Italy and this was definitely one of the best. My partner got a pasta which my partner said he felt he was transported too the past. He said it was unique and special.

Who would think the best Italian dining experience would be in Pompeii? Besides the exquisite food offered on the menu, the chef offered several "gift" meals for me to try. Each one was full of amazing, complex flavors. A foodie nerd would love it here! Would give 10 stars if I could.

This was recommended to me as a place where locals eat. The restaurant is very nice and elegant. Everything is homemade, even the bread and tarali. The service was great. The food is good but the portions are pretty small. The bathroom and the whole place is very clean.

Great host, lovely relaxed lunch, lovely space, skilful cooking, traditional and modern dishes, good wine. A really enjoyable and memorable meal a pleasant ten minute walk along the edge of pompeii scavi ruins and therefore same distance from train station
