I recently visited a cheese shop in Cannes that was quite literally the most smelly place I've ever encountered. The strong aroma of cheese hit me as soon as I walked in, and I couldn't help but smile at the sheer variety of fresh cheeses processed right there. The owners were incredible—hospitable and knowledgeable, eager to share their passion for cheese. I was particularly drawn to a basket labeled “one euro cheeses.” When I inquired, they explained that each of these delightful pieces was goat cheese aged for one to two months, offering a perfect balance of flavor. They had an impressive selection, showcasing all four phases of cheese, from the freshest to the most aged. As a cheese lover, I felt like I had stumbled into cheesy heaven. This charming spot is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the rich, diverse world of cheese.
