This is a awesome store. But just don't borrow money from the guys out front unless you fully intend to pay it and the vig fast. Listen just keep your ears shut. Don't make me come over there You guys are still famous 15 years after the show ended....

Centanni’s was not open when I visited that day - but Centanni’s, and the home where The Sopranos family lived, were both featured in the pilot. I was determined to see them both on the day I drove over from a nursing assignment on Long Island. I did, on May 18 of this year.

The inspiration behind Satriale's meat market, the original meeting place of Tony Soprano and his crew in the 1st episode of Season 1. Very nice staff and helpful. Bought some Jersey style peppers. The meat selection was also awesome. 👌

Yelp
Great sausages and hamburgers, if you're going for steaks, make sure to know how thick you want it cut.

Yelp
Love the place! Great service, nice guys and always helpful. They know how to treat customers and understand the importance of listening. I call ahead and have never had a problem with my order. I have asked for specially items and they have always come through. I grew up in Elizabeth and now live in Metuchen. I go back just for the meat shopping. And as a side note, I have been going to them since before the Sopranos episode. Remember to always drink responsibly Crazy Cubano Out.

Yelp
I arrived as they were closing and yet they greeted me in. And attended my boyfriend and I so pleasantly. Considering it's Saturday and 83°f, im pretty sure they wanted to get home and enjoy there weekend too. Snd yet they had the patience to allow us to pick the best t-bone steaks and look at this skirt steak that they had available. They were also great with recommending a seafood market right around the corner. I definitely time to stop by more and during the summer time when I'm barbecuing. Their meats are best on the grill! And the great thing is that they tell you exactly how to cook it if you ask.

Yelp
My husband going to Elizabeth mainly because we heard of DiCosmo's Italian Ices, we should have known better because they only take cash. So we went to the ATM to get cash out and passing my husband almost passed out saying "OMG that's a real Italian meat store, we need to go there". We turned around and dwhen my husband goes in the older gentleman said nicely, we're closed but he said Hurry Hurry (nicely) tell me what you want. We got the homemade sausage and the fresh provolone. When we got home we cut a little bit to taste it and OMG, it was out of this world delicious. The provolone was so soft and had a nice sharp kick to it and the sweet Italian sausage with it together, melted in our mouths. It's worth the ride, you gotta go there plus I hear this was home to The Sopranos. They took care of us, great place!!

Yelp
Awesome place! Been coming here since I was a kid with my father! (30 plus years!) My family loves their homemade sausages and Gino always specially made them for my father before he passed. Being a semi truck driver, I wish they had truck parking and that they shipped down south where my mother lives now so I could have them shipped to her!
