And the cherry on top? The way my car got driven. Whoever test drove it, the a*shole slammed on the brakes and floored the gas REPEATEDLY. 66 in a 35. What is this, "Fast & the Furiously Unemployed"?! Thankfully, I have a tracker on my vehicle (receipts have been attached), which means I got to review the whole thing. If you're going to joyride in a customer's car, maybe don't do it like you're auditioning for Need for Speed. And even better, don't be the dumba*s who doesn't look for a tracker first. Embarrassing.
I called the next day. Surprise--my advisor wasn't in. I asked for a manager to call me. One of the service managers, Randall, reached out, said the main manager was out, and asked me to email everything. I did. He said someone would be following up. It's now June 4th. Guess who still hasn't received a call? MEEEEEEEE !!
Oh, and adding onto this absolutely f*ck of a disaster. When I got my trim finally fixed, I noticed that one of my speakers on my LESS THAN A YR OLD car was blown. I do not max out the speakers, ever. I asked them to look at it and see if I could get it replaced. My service advisor said they ordered a new one and it'd be in by Friday, May 30th. He wanted me to make an appointment right then and there so that when it came on Friday I was there to get it installed. I said absolutely not, I want a phone call when it comes in because if it's on back order, too, I'd be pissed if I come and it's not here. He said ok, he'd call me on Friday, May 30th... Now say it with me guys.. Guess who hasn't received a call?! ME. It's June 6th, NO CALL.
The more all of this builds up, the more pissed off I get. I'm a patient person, I am. But Toyota's employees have disrespected the sh*t out of me and my car, and y'all don't even have the balls to call me and admit fault. I have never had a problem with any of the woman working there, and Im trying real hard not to come off as sexist, but why do the men there not want to do their jobs?? At this point, someone needs to give me new brake pads or some money off of this sh*t show of a car.
The moral of the story, if you're considering taking your car here, ask yourself: "Do I want to overpay for mediocrity, be ignored, lied to, and have my car spiritually violated by a wannabe Vin Diesel?" If yes--Toyota Centennial is the spot for you! If not, take your car and your dignity somewhere that respects you, your car, your patience, and your time. Once again, I recommend Brake Masters on Azure/Tenaya.
P.S. - TOYOTA WINDOW GLASS IS SH*T. I, again, have had my car for less than a year and have had 3 chips/cracks already. I have two Chevy cars I've owned for 3+ years and drive all my cars the same, my Chevy windows have ZERO chips or cracks. Why do y'all's cars chip/crack so easily? Seriously guys (Toyota manufacturers), this is immensely embarrassing for y'all.
Love you guys (the readers who got to the end, NOT Toyota)!
