9 Sandwich Spreads That’ll Make Your Lunch Taste Even Better | Eater

"A bottled hoagie spread of chopped hot red and sweet green cherry peppers steeped in tangy vinegar that brings a sweet-and-sour lift to rich Italian meats; it cuts through fatty prosciutto and mortadella and livens up everything from traditional hoagies to simple ham-and-cheese or turkey-club sandwiches." - Eater Staff

Today I received a beautiful brown parcel package that contained olive oil and peppers and some more peppers LOL. I I tried their delivery (38 hours from order taken to front steps!!) service through the website and I seriously must say I am absolutely stunned at the care that they placed on each individual glass bottle. Thoroughly wrappes with both cardboard and bubble wrap they even lined the interior box with bubble wrap it looks like a little shell. The peppers must have been just packed over the last month or so the heat is incredible very tasty will definitely order more products. Great job Cento !

Bought 12 cans of San Marzano tomatoes with a use by date almost 2 years away...6 were for me and 6 for my daughter...I went to use mine and the tomatoes inside stunk and were sitting in a bubbly mess of foam because the tomatoes went bad and the cans were bloated...my daughter was away for the summer but when she came back after Labor Day she checked and her cans were also bloated, one even leaked on a shelf in her pantry leaving dark stains on her shelving from the bottom of the cans...I emailed them initially just asking for a return label so I could send them a few cans back so they can examine the can and contents... 2X with no reply so I decided to call them and got the normal run around blaming employees for not replying but was assured someone would reach out...1 week later and still no reply so on the second phone call trying to get a response I finally told them to stick them where the sun don't shine...sure enough later that day they finally called me back with am attitude. I told her initially I had just asked for a return label so I could send them a few cans back...she seemed like I was annoying her and her company...at almost $4 a can I figured they would be a little more concerned or apologizing...instead she acted like the bloated cans were my fault...I will never buy any Cento product again...their customer service from start to finish WAS THE WORST...there are plenty of other companies selling San Marzano tomatoes that will be my new go to

Disagree with product value. Canned clams smelled like low-tide sea water and I have used other brands that don't smell that way. Their canned artichokes were too tough and inedible. Don't like offering negative reviews but feel their products are not good quality. I keep trying to give this company another chance but for the same price, there are other brands that are consistently better.

Defective cans of "san marzano" tomatoes from Cento. No help from Cento..."the flip cans were manufactured during COVID" was the excuse. The cans are horrendous and a mess. I purchased multiple cases from Costco and was told to return them to Costco. Cento was no help, they wanted proof of purchase (I guess my photos of the hot mess was not proof enough). Not even sure these are the real San Marzano tomatoes (google it). Cento - you should be ashamed. Your customer service is the absolute worst.

7 out of 12 cans of tomatoes were damaged and 2 were open! The box delivered byAmazon was fine. How can I get a refund?

Google
Get Cento Tomato Puree for authentic NJ Italian restaurant pizza/pasta sauce add in 1 small finely diced onion per 28 oz can-just don't add any spice, leave it to your customers to add the garlic salt, basil, oregano, grated Parmesan cheese ,red pepper, or whatever spice at their table for them to season to taste. You can be accused of over spicing, or under spicing, but if you leave the spicing up to the consumer, then it is up to them...

Yelp
Very surprised at their lack of customer service skills. Cento Corporation does not seem to care if a customer has a problem with one of their products. Unresponsive to my complaint? Did nothing to rectify problem?

Yelp
The storm of non-communication ended as the clouds parted and--out of the blue--an email from my Cento distributor stated my delayed product was available for pick-up. Upon pick-up, I inspected product dates (okay), lot codes and country of production (Italy). All seemed good. I moved to the kitchen and the product passed quality and taste. All is good. Still I value communication...perhaps patience is key.

Yelp
The amount of stems in the hot pepper relish is disgusting. You can't eat any of it with out a piece of stem poking into your mouth. Like hard pieces of plastic. I won't ever buy it again.

Yelp
Absolutely, hands down the best tasting tomatoes I've ever had. Makes excellent spaghettini sauce!! Doesn't taste at all like my spaghetti sauce comes from anything but fresh tomatoes. My fiancé grew up absolutely loathing spaghetti sauce. I made my home made sauce using cento crushed and peeled tomatoes and he absolutely loved it. Eats it every single time. The diced petite tomatoes goes amazingly well with any bruschetta recipe or chili recipes. Do yourself a favor. Stop using whatever sauce you are using and buy a can of Cento. I promise you won't be disappointed!!!

Yelp
I am writing a review of the Little Gina's Pizzelle product that Cento sells. I have tried the Vanilla Pizzelle and they are outstanding! Flavorful, crisp and a very good thickness. The size is larger than other brands that I have tried in the past. T

Yelp
They make incredible canned soups. Escarole is my favorite. All their Italian style products are top notch quality.
