As its name suggests, Centra was conveniently located at the center of the casino. It was not busy despite it being a Friday night. We were able to just walk in and seat ourselves at a table. The seats were comfortable and offered a relatively nice and elevated view of the casino floor. A server materialized promptly and took our order. Drinks were ok. I'd go here if I needed a quick drink, but it's not really anything I'd go out of my way for. Luckily, the best thing about this place is its convenient location.

Whoever the one man band was on Friday May 2nd was really, really good. I wasn't as impressed with the band on Saturday, but the Friday night guy was incredible. Brynna was also a phenomenal waitress. Give the band guy more stage time, and give Brynna a huge raise.

Theres a lot of mixed reviews over this lounge so I'll share my experience. Drinks are a little overpriced but when you're at a lounge with a live DJ playing the vibes, you don't even care. This place can make your night 10x better if you go during the right time

So amazing to find such quality drinks in a place like the Luxor but wow, these bartenders really know what they're doing. If you're unfortunate enough to be staying at this hotel, this is where you should be getting your drinks. Great place to watch the games too.

Visited Centra 5 out of the 6 nights I was at the Luxor. Katie and Myra are awesome! Great service!!! Stop by after a show or while in the casino. I highly recommend Centra!

To summarize: Rude staff, poor service, and overpriced drinks. Their drinks and food are nothing special either. We were told that getting food was obligatory, even though we just wanted to get drinks. So we ended up with gross, overpriced popcorn. The Aperol spritz I ordered was disgusting and not worth what they charged me for it. My friend ended up paying $80 for one drink and was sneered at by our snobby waitress when he dared to question it. This was the same waitress who took ages to even bother taking our order (when it was not that busy). This same waitress also scolded my friend for vaping there and told her it was a “no smoking” bar. I’m not even a smoker and I found it absurd, as the bar is literally inside of the casino (where smoking is allowed) and the only thing separating them is a circular railing, so you are breathing the same air either way. In conclusion, I would not recommend Centra at all. There are plenty of other places to get a drink in Las Vegas that would have been better than this.

Although I don’t want this review to reflect on the resort as a whole, which is fairly great, my experience at the Centra was pretty bad. I can’t say anything about their drinks because I didn’t get one. Around noon I checked out of my room at the Luxor and my flight wasn’t until later that night so I wanted to sit in the lobby and repack my bag and gather myself. After about 30 minutes or so a young lady walked up to me who I assumed was the server but because there were only about 5 other people in the lounge and none of them were drinking I don’t know who she was serving. She then rudely requested to see my ID, I said I wasn’t looking to drink I just wanted to sit down for a bit and wait for my flight. She then said “Ok let me see your ID.” I responded you need to see my ID to sit here? She said yeah this is a bar. Dumbfounded I showed her my ID and she looked at it intently under a flashlight before handing it back and walking away. Shortly afterwards I watched a grown man sit down and berate his teenage daughter across from me but apparently she didn’t need to check her ID as well. After about another 20 minutes I saw the server with another server, or maybe a manager, pointing me out, who then walked up to me and asked if she could help me. I told her no I’m leaving and got my things and went to the food court to sit. I’ve worked Food and Beverage for 10 years. I am and have been a bartender for 6 of those. So I could understand if the place was packed and they needed the seating but there were about 50 lounge chairs and 5 other people there. Or even if it was an enclosed building that had a door. But it’s in the middle of the casino with no walls and no clear dedicated space. So I knew she was just harassing me for the sake of doing so. If you want a drink there’s many other bars in the resort that don’t treat the guests like garbage.

We come here at least once a month and we are so excited when Chad is our bartender. Chad is an amazing bartender. It's just a shame that we cant come just visit him as he is a covering bartender. He is a lot better than some of the regular bartenders at the other bars. Would love to see him as a more fill time.

Ron and Chad at the centra bar are awesome. They are very friendly and personable. My wife and I stay at the Luxor a few times a year and we look forward to hanging out with Ron and Chad at the bar when we are there. I would highly recommend visiting them sometime.

I hit up this bar after seeing Blue Man Group Sunday night. I wanted another drink & wanted to gamble a little. I had this super nice bartender take care of me the whole time I was here named Mike. He was very kind, got me my drinks as I ordered them and we had some small talk here & there. I was able to play for awhile on my machine but didn't walk away as a big winner. A girl had sat down next to me & played the slot game on the machine & won a couple hundred dollars from it. She was there with her married friends. We all started to get to chatting and they were visiting from out of town. A little later there was an older married couple near me at the bar who were staying @ the Luxor who I chit chatted with briefly. Its always nice to run into friendly, nice people. But even better when you have a nice, attentive bartender taking care of ya!! Thanks Mike!! :-)

Cinco de Mayo weekend. Let's have some fun together. It's time to let the hair down. Cheers My colleagues and I had fun dancing thru the night. Music was a bomb. The DJ delivered music that lured people into his way. From a few people in the beginning to jam packed after he amped his music. I had 2 beers that lasted me thru the night. After having those hard drinks I needed something light so that I won't be so wasted and less hang over the next day.

Here for Xmas 2023. Had checked this place out coz my bf dj's this spot once in a while. Nice bar. Nice bartenders. Love the guy who actually carded me complimenting me saying, "Miss, you look too young to be here. May I see your ID?*. I'm like, really?!? Ok, here it is. That makes me feel good that I still look younger than my 40s. Anyway, I love the ceiling lights. Very Moroccan style. The bar is a big square. They have chaise lounges and chairs with gazebo like feel. This place only opens until 145-2a. If you're in Vegas and staying in a nearby hotel and want to go drink, here in Luxor, FLIGHT is open 24/7. U can also get free drinks if you're gambling at the bar or floor.

THE BARTENDERS ARE SO...NOT NICE. BUT THE DRINKS ARE BOMB AND THE LOUNGE IS VERY SOCIAL MEDIA PIC WORTHY!! What's vacation without a drink or 3? While staying at Luxor, we decided to stop at the bar. We were ignored for a real long time, then a man finally came over: Customer service:1/5 Ah, I hate to say it, but the service here was some of the worst I've ever experienced on vacation. However, it was only this specific lounge, and not the actual casino. We waited for a very long time for the bartender to take our order, then when he finally did, he had the worst attitude about it. I asked what kind of margaritas they had and he snapped and said "well what do you want???" I wanted a watermelon margarita blended, he said they didn't offer that...obviously, that's why I asked WHAT KIND THERE IS. Make it make sense. The second time around- was a bit better (a Mexican older gentleman) and because of him, I'll give this place 3 stars of 5. Drinks: 5/5 The drinks were out of this world good. I'm a blended margarita type of girl; BUT they only had on the rocks but oddly it worked out! My boyfriends adios really set things off! That damn thing will sneak up on you if you don't relax hahaha it's so good, sweet, and strong! 10/10 these drinks were amazing. Price: 4/5 WHEW. They're a bit expensive, but what else can you really expect in Las Vegas. Each drink was $14.00 ea and it was pretty small. I'd say regularly they're worth a $7/$8.00 drink maybe even less. Buuut, when in Rome, right? All around: 3.5/5 The customer service needs massive help, I think his name was Steven? Dear Steven, be nice to people!!!! lol. Anywho- I'd come again. I cannot control everyone's mood at work- but something tells me if Steven was nice and in an upbeat mood- I would've had such a different experience & better rated review. .but it is what it is. I wish more places understood that spending our hard earned money feels better when you're treated with respect. Maybe next time!

This bar is always a great vibe! Great drinks and amazing service. Robin and Mike are the best bartenders. We never leave Vegas without stopping here to chill. Good music and we always have the best luck on the machines!

Definitely not the best margarita. Ok, better than what they give you at the machines, but still not the best. Cheap mixer? Cheap tequila? I don't know, I expected better. Hold on to that $15 and head to Diablo's.

have been to centra many times over the years. will never step foot in there again. bartenders are good. but a couple of asshole waitresses have killed the vibe. still stay there religiously because of the people. just never again at centra. i steer as many people away from there as i can. just get cocktails from the wonderful group of casino servers or at flight or at play or at Mandalay.

Drinks. Great. No food. Games here. Electronic at the bar. Great service. These bartenders served you right. However full of ice. They served it right. Kind of pricey for Luxor at $9.50 per drink. It was a gin and tonic. A very stable drink that requires no mixing. No additives. Well it was great and tasty and did the job of relaxing and cooling down from the Las Vegas heatwave. Easy access to get to. Between the towers. Dead center of the access to all the towers. Tons of seating. Clean bar.

Cute bar located about the center of the Casino floor in Luxor. Love the chairs! Throne style and in gold. Then you have some that look like bird cages. Absolutely adorable for photos...of course! And it's all open seating. Huge bar in the center of the lounge. No boogie "reservations" needed! The ceiling lamps are colored brightly, which adds to the cheery atmosphere. Great little gem on the strip.

This is the best bar for excellent ambiance and service! Ron is the most amazing bartender who will make recommendations or mix up something to your liking. He went above and beyond to take care of all of us at a busy bar and made it feel like we had known him for years.

"I want to go here! It looks like we smoked whatever the worm did in Alice in Wonderland!" Centra is a step up from Aurora, another bar in Luxor, with a nice Moroccan vibe. Drinks are reasonably priced and the high-back chairs look fun. The couches we were sitting on could use some pillows as I'm hella vertically challenge and leaning back would mean I'm pretty much slouching in my seat. Hey! I'm old and I need that lumbar support, okay? It was a pretty busy night when we stopped by on a rainy Saturday night so our waitress was pretty much never around. The drinks were okay and the prices were decent. I wouldn't mind stopping by Centra but my heart stays true to another lounge at another MGM property! Will travel for my favorite bartender!

Ron is the bartender to go to. He is an excellent bartender: friendly, innovate with drinks, the BEST. He know what to make if you not sure and he will make anything you ask for. Managers: this is the type of bartender you want.

A very large casino bar in the middle of all the pyramid-related action. The only negatives are that it takes a long time for the few staff to check up on everyone. And that they do not open until I believe 5 pm, so it's closed afternoons. The bar staff is very professional and friendly. And they make a strong drink here. If you're playing the screen-based games at the bar, of course your drinks are comped. No food here, but all around the drinks are as creative as you can be, and it's central to all the action. Bravo.

Great bar inside the casino with a large cocktail menu. I really liked the peachy mule and had several. The x-rated was good but very sweet. Good spot for a drink

What an absolute pleasure to be a guest at this bar inside Luxor Hotel/Casino. Beautiful decor and lots of comfortable seating options. I loved the 'Diva' chairs, fit for a Queen! I spoke with the bartender 'David' who I had known 25 years ago when I danced in the show "Winds of the Gods" He was the showroom bartender in 1994 and we had great memories to share. Small world and great memories. So fun to reconnect. I will definitely go back and enjoy being a guest in one of the most fabulous hotels built on the strip. Highly Recommend. Located on Las Vegas Blvd between the Excalibur and Mandalay Bay. Self Park is $8 for up to 4 hours, good deal!

This bar has comfortable seating and is pretty spacious. There was a good bit of music/other noise, as it's in the middle of the Luxor, but you could have an intelligible conversation without shouting. The price list on the drinks was a little steep, but the cocktails were well made and, overall, I had a great experience. Service was great (fast and friendly), so I'd definitely recommend you give this a try if you're looking for a place to bring a group to chill and catch up.

How do you review a bar where you order 1 beer and then go? I'm really not sure, which is why it has taken me over a month to write this guy. Centra is located in the dilapidated luxor hotel. They offer a wide range of beverages, essentially amounting to a full bar. With all of those options available, I, in my infinite wisdom, opted for a bud light. Essentially the Prince of beers. The quickness and precision that the bottled was opened was inspiring. The cold beverage was handed to me, and I immediately brought it to my lips. As the light amber colored liquid rushed past my lips and down my throat, i only thought about the hundreds of times this has happened before. I must say, the Bud Light in Vegas tasted just like the Bud Light everywhere else. That was an odd tangent. The bartender was friendly enough. We chatted for awhile until I decided it was time to move from the bar back to the casino floor. Best of luck in Vegas!

I found myself here several times a day during my 5 day stay at Luxor in May. Service at the bar was usually prompt, and seating was plentiful. A few times, when there was a group of us, we enjoyed the seating surrounding the bar, or even the high-top tables, but, I never encountered any wait staff. Prices were reasonable, for Las Vegas. And I think they have some drink specials, but I didn't try any of those offerings. My very first visit was on a Sunday evening during NHL playoffs, and I was delighted to see the Lightning game on one of their TVs. A very helpful bartender tried to put it on another TV for me, but for some reason, she couldn't get the channel to load. So I watched from a seat at the end of the bar where the game was already displayed. An older gentleman was my bartender on this & several other occasions, and I enjoyed excellent mixed drinks from him every single time. On a couple of mornings (hey, its Vegas!), I simply ordered a shot of Bailey's for my coffee. But usually, I had a cocktail of cranberry & vodka.

Older bartender with gray hair and a ponytail is a total A-hole I asked him a question and he came at me hot and started yelling at me. Then proceeded to talk shit about me to the people at the bar. This place is not worth it unless you want a average drink with a side of attitude.

The lemon drop martini was amazingggggg and the waitress was super attentive and sweet! She even brought me a water on the side because she knew the alcohol would hit hard.

Upon checking in at the Luxor, we were presented with a booklet of coupons that included several free drink tickets. Centra appeared to be the best option with trendy decor and blasting party hit music video mash-ups. I definitely enjoyed the energy, though mostly fueled by my excitement to be in Vegas paired with drinks and party hits... Centra feels slightly separated from the casino by a platform and frosted glass border. I appreciated those features because it gives drunk bridesmaids an obstacle to overcome before they bump into my back and scream at the bartender for water. I can't get over how fun the party hit music video mash-ups were! I'm docking one star because we passed time at Centra pre-flight Sunday night and sports were on every television. Borrrrring.

Asked the bartender to turn the Red Wings game on and was met with a resounding "no.", not "hey, someone's watching this game, let me put it on over here, is that ok?" Just "no." Poor form Luxor. This isn't what Vegas is all about.

We stopped here while walking through Luxor for a drink. Not a bad little bar...we were the only ones there. Bartender was nice...paid 15 bucks for a drink...drink was reallllly strong but good.

This is the best bar we went to in the entirety of Vegas. We went after the Criss Angel show, and we were not disappointed. There is an older gentleman behind the bar that I swear makes the best drinks I've ever had. The staff here is really great as well, very attentive. There was a DJ the night we were there, so the music was poppin' and it's right in the middle of the Casino - perfect for people watching. Lots of places to sit, couches and chairs and very nicely decorated.

This review is strictly for Mike, the best bartender at Centra, and he is really the only saving grace for the Luxor anymore. He is a wealth of knowledge and great to talk to if he isn't busy running his butt off for all of the thirsty patrons (especially on the horrible DJ/Video nights, ugh). The bar is cool, right in the middle of the gaming floor, and I love all of the lighting around it and it's central location (hence the name). This is our usual hang if we aren't headed off of the Strip, but only if Mike is working! Otherwise we will head elsewhere, and I'm not kidding.

I would have loved to give this bar a higher rating... If they even gave me service or an opportunity to try their drinks. My boyfriend and I took four or five minutes to take a look at the menu. After none of the servers came to us, I walked over to the group of three chatting by the registers. They asked if we would be taking our order in or around the bar. We said around and they quipped, "you'll have to order directly with the bartenders then." and refused to help us place an order. I was thrown off but tried to be patient. We waited for twenty minutes trying to flag down one of the four bartenders. The only response we got at the fifteen minute mark was one guy who smirked and gave me the "wait a minute" finger. So yeah, you'll have to forgive me if I decided to strut off after another five minutes. Screw this bar and all the awful workers. It's not like Vegas is lacking alcohol. Don't waste your time and money here... They won't even notice you walked away.

My friends and I were staying at the Luxor and were looking for a TV to watch the Cubs game the night we flew in. Centra was an easy find and had a ton of TVs on, so we decided to check it out. The bar has a Moroccan feel to it with some lounge type seats surrounding the bar which has some cool lights hanging around it. It's in the middle of the gambling floor which puts you in the middle of the action. They typically have a DJ playing some top 40 mixes which I personally enjoyed a lot. Music isn't overly loud so you'll still able to easily talk with friends. Drinks are moderately priced for Vegas and they do have some specials for a good price. We took advantage of the deal with the shots which were a good size. Mainly I wanted to write this review to rave about a waitress we had multiple times over the course of our stay, Takara. Takara took care of us three times we stopped by Centra and she was amazing. Not too overbearing but still checked in at a good pace. We had a different waitress one night and she was rude and inattentive. Each time we got Takara though we were happy with our service. I'd keep coming back to Centra if I knew Takara would be our server, so really these five stars are for her.

Pre-gamed before the Blue Man show last Friday. Centra is located on the casino floor and is conveniently near the elevator to the Atrium level. Bartender was stiff but professional and made a good drink. Ordered 2 Negronis and a Manhattan at regular price. $50 before tip. Drinks were excellent, but I should have waited 10 minutes. Happy hour starts at 6:30 pm. The next 5 drinks came out to $48. Much better deal.

I stayed at the luxor and happened to come during happy hour...4 peach palmers made by Henry (Shep) and I was in heaven!!! Very friendly atmosphere and the bartenders are awesome! I actually stayed in Luxor for a week and I've came to centra 3 times since I filled my 100 oz guitar in between! Gotta check him out!!! Has been the go to bartender all week.

Smack dab in the middle of the Luxor Casino is Centra. Friendly bartenders, excellent service at the tables. Great background music as you look over the casino (and dancers). Yay!

Stopped in here to take advantage of the 2 free drinks that Luxor included as part of their resort fee (I'm not sure if that's a special I got, or if that's just what everyone gets). It's a nice bar - the layout is very open and inviting. Dark interior colors and plush couches make it ideal as a late night spot to post up and relax a bit while you have a nightcap or two. Our free drinks tickets were limited in their use, like I pretty much expected, so when we ordered 2 Red Bull and vodkas the bartender said we could only get a Sobe Adrenaline and vodka. Sure, whatever... just make it a good pour. Which he didn't. Drink was decent enough. Good spot to relax at, but nothing more. Most cocktails are so overpriced that I wouldn't say a casual stop here is worth it unless you're taking advantage of Luxor's offer.

In the midst of the gambling floor, the lounge has a view of many slot machines and over the gambling tables. Plenty of lounge seating on comfy couches or at the bar top. All the bartenders are fast and so friendly. Our favorite was Rafa, he was the best bartender in Vegas during our stay!

Really interesting bar in the middle of the Luxor Casino. The arrangement of lights is very alluring, and they had a great DJ on set while we were sitting and having one last drink for the night. Our service was okay, but the area was definitely perfect to sit, relax, and do some good people watching.

Was in Vegas for my 21st birthday in September, and I liked the looks of this bar and decided I wanted to get my first legal drink at Centra. I could have gotten a free drink in the casino, but I wanted that full first time bar experience for my first drink. I went up to the bar right at midnight excited to order my strawberry daiquiri, and the guy didn't even card me. I have the face of a 12 year old, but if I knew I wasn't going to be carded anyways, I wouldn't have spent my first day in Vegas sober. After my mom and I paid for our drinks, we weren't even offered change.

Favorite bar in the luxor. Great bartenders! Our favorites are Jullian and Steve! Play the machines in the bar for cocktails for tips as you would on the casino floor!

This was such a nice welcoming lounge after suffering through an expensive bad meal elsewhere. The service was excellent, the drinks were awesome! Get a champagne mojito! We enjoyed the music and watching the videos. The vibe was fun! We would definitely come hang out there again!

For the many, many, many casino/resort bars in Vegas, this one was perfect. It in the middle of the Luxor (not exactly center strip), but they had a live DJ, cool interactive flat screens that played music vids with the DJ. Drink prices are amazing for a hotel bar and you can get tipsy pretty fast, just order the doubles. The elevated bar gives you a view of all the people standing in line for LAX at the Luxor, so its a bit of people watching place. No cover and friendly service. It was a nice surprise while the wife and I stayed there.

I'm so sad because I really like this bar they have cool yummy drinks and its just easy and relaxed. But The service here was annoyingly slow. Our waitress was too involved in her coworkers to pay any mind to her customers. We finished our first drinks, the waitress walked by us a dozen times totally ignoring our empty glasses. Finally makes eye contact with me "oh u ready?" No shit Sherlock. Finally got our second round, again the drinks r Delish but by this time I was too annoyed to enjoy it. Then she finally sees were done again, we ask for our bill and wait another 10-15 mins. I'm pissed now so I got up and asked her about it, Apparently it takes the bartender 20 mins to discount a bill with a coupon the hotel gave me!! wtf?! After 4 miserable days in Vegas of nothing going right all I wanted was to enjoy my fav spot and home girl killed it!

Drinks are strong and reasonably priced for Vegas. Bartenders and waitresses are friendly. Nice place to sit and relax. Just wish there was a little more livelihood!
