"There was maybe nothing wrong with Cafe Centraal as it stood, but when the local favorite turned 10 years old last year, the Lowlands Group decided it was time for a physical and spiritual upgrade. There’s been a tangible refocusing since the overhaul, and not just because you walk in a different front door. There are now weekday brunches and a more global bent — kebabs sit next to mole on the menu, chili next to hot-and-sour soup. Overall we had quite a pleasant experience. Our server was fantastic and the food and drinks were excellent - I ordered the Asian chicken bowl. Their GF menu was also extensive which is greatly appreciated! The vibe was upbeat and clean and they have loads of outdoor seating if that’s what you prefer!

There are great options to eat in or out! Coffee with happiness, food are always on point. I feel like inside a train station before my departure... staff is attentive and friendly. I'll be back again any chance I get. Poached eggs with salmon are amazing.

I’ve been here many times over the years and have rarely been disappointed. Waitstaff is usually very attentive without being overbearing. The food and drinks are always fantastic. This place seems to always be busy but it never feels crowded or overwhelming. Ingredients are listed for every item. Vegan/Veg and GF options are clearly labeled. I would recommend Centraal for any meal, breakfast through dinner. The brunch cocktails in particular are a standout, as well as the friets with garlic or basil aioli. The outside seating is always lovely and very secluded.

This place looked and felt right coming in! Came in and it was a neat place and had a cool beer menu on a screen. Main reason for the low review is the food. Sat down and the server was very nice and came to help. We ordered a starter of the artichoke dip and it came out cold and wasn’t the best! My black bean smash burger was not good at all, it tasted so funky and the side salad wasn’t even good! The cauliflower masala was not as advertised. There was nothing charred about the tofu and was warm, not hot. My father said his burger warm but mediocre. We went ahead and tried dessert. The brownie was cold and missing something, wasn’t the best! The blue berry cheesecake was also just funky. This is a review of multiple people with many items and spent a lot. I’m a Google reviewer and usually do five stars but it isn’t deserved here unfortunately the server helped bring it up since she was so personable.

So happy to finally try out the street car or the outside tents during this cold season and still had such a brilliant time that is always given at Cafe Central and we got to bring our puppy and that was very fun. Tasty and delicious as always. Cheers!

The "All Around the World in One Flight. " was an interesting combination of international beers. I found the lighter beers to be more refreshing. I ordered the artichoke cheese dip, and although it was tasty, the large pieces of buttered bread were a bit much. Very filling, I will say. The service was great, and the atmosphere has a traveling vibe which makes it feel like a small social hub to eat, drink and be on your way. I love the suitcases on display and the arrival and departure flight boards. Very catch theme for the restaurant, and I am looking forward to going back to try something else.
