Yelp
Central Market -- my weekly Go-To! Start in the produce maze to pick up organic veggies and fruits. The selections are abundant and prices are amazing -- love the prepped veggies and fruits, too! Cold-pressed juices, like kale, pineapple, and ginger as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Next, head through the seafood and meat department. I typically buy seafood as it's always fresh. The meat selections are quite impressive, too. Again, priced very well.
On to the grocery staples isles where you can find every food and food prep item imaginable -- pastas, sauces, pickled veggies, cookies (they have Lady Walton's!), you'll find chips and chocolates and beverages in this area, also.
Around the corner is the frozen section and more staples. Prep some fresh almond butter and pick up dates, apricots, loose teas, and grind some coffee. The frozen selections are plentiful from fruits to veggies, unique ice creams, like Jeni's Skillet Cinnamon Roll, Indian foods, and pizzas (Bola is great).
On to the dairy section. They have low fat kefir and my guilty pleasure, Liberte yogurt. Great selection of butters and kombucha teas.
Head into the bakery with any bread, cookie, tortilla, and cake imaginable. You can find fresh naan here. Around the corner, a plethora of cheeses followed by the deli section. Head to the self-serve bar where you can find everything -- roasted garlic, grilled artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, Kalamata olives ... Love Dip!, hummus, etc. There is also a salad bar and prepped food section with sizable dinners, salads, soups, take and bake pizza, and desserts.
The chef prepared food counter offers some pretty amazing mains and sides, like grilled salmon, lemon rosemary chicken, roasted Brussels sprouts, and steamed veggies. And, a fresh sushi bar. We love their sushi! Grab a lovely bouquet of flowers on your way out.
Central Market is a food paradise! It's easy to get lost with all the enticing foods available.
Tip -- Go during the week and (have a list) to get in and out in 20-30, and still savor the experience.
