Drink Your Way Down the River at These 3 D.C. Area Tubing Locations | Eater DC

"When driving up I-95 toward Fredericksburg, I note Central Park as a fast-casual mecca and convenient pit stop on the way." - Missy Frederick

Google
Central Park shouldn't be confused with an indoor mall. Rather, it's an area of shops. That said, there's a little bit of everything from Lowe's to Best Buy and everything in between.

It might just be me but everytime I'm in that store the staff seem like they really don't want to help me especially in the firearms section. I can be standing at the counter for 15 minutes and maybe be asked for help and really not helpful! Makes me feel like I'm in the wrong store.

Great selection of stores and places to eat if you like franchise restaurants. The traffic is crazy though, it takes forever to get out of there on the weekends.

Talk about a one-stop-shop! This is my go-to for all roadtrips, Christmas shopping, or just meeting up with friends for dinner and drinks. This shopping center truly has it all, and they have new restaurants and stores opening up which means even more variety!

Not from the area and just wanted some Krispy Kreme. What the heck is this place?? It's massive and has every store I've ever heard of! Unreal to drive through there. Looked high-end too.

Great place to get state and emissions test done. No appointment needed, just sign up and wait or drop off and pick up later.

It's a big mall. Walmart is really huge. So much to see. So many places to shop.

Went to Funland of Fredericksburg, a great place with a variety of games for all ages. They have 6 private rooms that can be reserved for functions. Although, with the go-karting they let 13 people race at a time, but keep stopping the race every time someone crashes into the tires or each other. If two people are riding together, the person who will be driving has to have a driver's license.

Yelp
I wish I could recommend this place. In my opinion, it absolutely destroyed the pleasant city of Fredericksburg. Are there lots of stores and restaurants to choose from? Yes there are. Yet getting in and out of here, it's simply not worth it anymore. What was once a concept is a mess. Located off of 95 and route 3, do bring aspirin with you. This was originally a community center platform, but it's grown exponentially. That has caused this to be masses everywhere, and do be careful if you decide to drive in here. I do like the bookstore, but I don't want to go in here anymore. I'm glad the suburban folks have this, but I miss the days where this community, was far more laid back. Central Park is a mess.

Yelp
Central Park is a large area with too many stores to mention. In addition It has a many restaurants, car repairs, vehicle cleaning, an ABC store, oofice supplies, Banks, Petmart, etc... I prefer inside malls, but there would never be a way to enclose this massive shopping center.

Yelp
Fredericksburg is limited to things you can do... I don't even know how people find entertainment or joy liveing in Fredericksburg...everything just sucks... Well, Fredericksburg does not have a lot of variety when it comes to culture......they try to make everything old fashion and not up to date...You have both the open spaces and the big spread of trees everywhere...the locals seems to find the area as a weekend fun day or running there once a week errands a bit hard consider stores closes early here ... Aspect for Walmart... Walmart is 24/7... This is the only area in Fredericksburg where there stuff to do which kinda sucks... You basically have to drive 45 minutes here to shop/eat/dine/play... Who wants to even drive all the way up here... The stores are tacky... the area is not fun..restaurants suckssss...majority of the restaurants are chain...usually chain restaurants have mediocre food... The mall here looks haunted... So many shops in the mall are are closed down...Does not have as many shoppers as there should be for a mall.. Even on the weekends! There are plenty of parking around the whole Central Park area... So don't worry about parking!

Yelp
If you're ever in the Fredericksburg area and looking for something or somewhere to go, just head to Central Park. It has everything....EVERYTHING ! Shops, stores, and restaurants galore! I love coming here and seeing all the places and deciding where to eat or shop. Gamestop, Five Below, Sushi, Target, Hair salons, Chuck E Cheese, Old Navy, Funland, Olive Garden---this shopping district has a little something for everyone. I never get bored when I'm here and I do notice that the stores change every so often which helps find something new each time I visit. While it's not conveniently located it's definitely something that could be made into a day trip.

Yelp
Always traffic now matter how early or late it is!! Getting out your car lookin at a strip and then getting back in to find something else's is quite annoying wish they had a all in one.

Yelp
I got a under cooked breakfast sandwich at this location. I was on my way up 95 and was too far to go back. I stopped the next day and told the manager about the problem and he wouldn't refund my money without a receipt. Who wants another sandwich that was under cooked. They would rather loose an everyday customer over the price of one sandwich. There are too many other places to get a breakfast sandwich in Central Park. Don't spend your money at a place that doesn't offer good customer service.
