Relais & Chateaux - Central Park Voorburg

Those stars I attributed only relate to the lunch we had at the restaurant, as we didn't spend any nights in the hotel. Unfortunately, we didn't have our lunch outside on the terrace, as the weather that day was not really conducive for it. The restaurant's interior is somewhat bland and uninspiringly furnished, which clearly affects the ambiance. However, the seafood courses and the dessert we ordered were certainly nicely prepared and probably worthy of a Michelin star. Also, the young lady waiting on our table was pleasant, attentive and on the ball. Bref, ça vaut le coup de s'arrêter.

Hope to return to this beautiful hotel next year |We had a large suite facing the park very comfortable , was nice to try the Hasten beds they have at the hotel . Loved the bath toiletries from Istanbul a nice touch . Found the staff ultra friendly. A very nice turn down service too . The hotel is in a beautiful town well worth a visit a very up market area . Unfortunately we didn’t dine at the restaurant which was a huge disappointment for me as my husband hadn’t been feeling well but I hope to definitely return to rectify that . I really recommend to book this hotel and visit this beautiful part of Holland .

As a wedding photographer, I’ve worked at many venues, and Central Park in Voorburg is one of those places that instantly feels special. Set in a beautifully restored 18th-century estate, it combines classic Dutch elegance with a calm, intimate atmosphere — just minutes from The Hague, yet it feels like a hidden getaway. The manor house is full of character and light, perfect for getting ready moments and elegant indoor portraits. Outside, the landscaped gardens and the surrounding park create a romantic backdrop for ceremonies, drinks, and sunset photos. Everywhere you turn, there’s another spot that photographs beautifully. The team at Central Park is incredibly professional and welcoming, making sure everything flows effortlessly so couples can truly relax and enjoy their day. If you’re looking for a wedding location that blends history, charm, and a touch of luxury, Central Park Voorburg is a setting that will impress both you and your guests.

Arrived somewhat early in the day, on bicycles, needing to ""dump" our bikes and bags before rushing to Schiphol to meet our daughter, husband and toddler.|Set the tone for the incredible level of service. See what we can do, take a seat, have a coffee, we'll get your room ready in next 15 mins, bikes, yes of course we can store safely.|Had 2 rooms on 3rd floor, beautifully decorated supremely comfortable beds, lovely bathroom and great service.|Lovely breakfast each day. Very convenient for public transport in 3 directions, |What stood out time and time again was really top quality service without it being stiff and formal. All the staff we dealt with were really really excellent.|Had a fabulous meal, which I will review separately.|Almost within and also adjacent to several parks which were lovely.|Thank you from all of us for a super stay.

High quality hotel located in the grounds of beautiful gardens a few minutes walk from the quaint High Street of Voorburg containing a supermarket, bars, restaurant and independent shops. There is a high attention to detail in the rooms. The beds were extremely comfortable. The shower and bath were top quality. The staff were all very helpful and professional and they upgraded one of our rooms which we were very thankful for. The hotel does operate a popular Michelin star restaurant downstairs but it was too pricey for us unfortunately. There is a small car park for guests containing EV chargers. If the spaces aren't occupied by selfish ICE owners you can ask the helpful staff to assist you with a charging fob and they'll put the charges on the room.  If you get the opportunity, visit the food/craft market on Saturday morning. It takes place on the street right outside the hotel.

We had the luxe chef’s menu at the Central Park restaurant and honestly, it was such a great experience. For a place with that kind of grounds and view, the food could’ve been mediocre and they’d still probably get away with it but it just happened to be that the food, service, and setting were all phenomenal. The little radish tart (shaped like a rose, too cute) was one of the first bites and it was so good. The beet gel amuse was insanely flavorful- tiny but packed a punch. Then we had a mussel mousse with the honeycomb crisp on top. Stunning and actually tasted even better- a super well balanced dish. The crab salad was another standout. Apraragus, (ripe) green strawberries, caviar, light sauce… PHENOMMMMM. One of those dishes you randomly think about weeks later. We also had their staple whitefish as a main but I was quite full by this point and not as much in the mood for hot food. The raspberry dessert with the CP stamp looked amazing but was a little too tart/acidic for me. The soufflé though? Unreal. Like, “wake me up in the middle of the night for a bite of that”. I would absolutely go back, no question. It felt special without being stuffy, and there was certainly no bad food here! They earned their star for sure 😊

Without a doubt, one of the best hotels we’ve ever experienced. We travel all over Europe and around the world, but this hotel combines charm, quality service, an exceptional location, highly professional and caring staff, a superb restaurant—it's a human-scale hotel where it's a real pleasure to come and return.
