In general, I thought the cafe had great, energetic vibes. It's a must see for any die-hard Friends fan.
Some might wonder if a place like this though is simply a tourist trap, and I would say yes and no. The prices are fair compared to any other cafe you'll find in the city and the food is decent! However, from my experience, the matcha left something to be desired.
It did not seem like ceremonial grade and it had an odd, "manufactured" flavor to it. Though it was admittedly smooth and had a strong matcha flavor, I would not recommend it due to its off-putting aftertaste. Honestly, I feel customers might be better off getting their food or pastries than their drinks, however, I would give it a try yourself as they did seem to have some fun seasonal flavors!
On the other hand, the sandwich was filling and satisfying for a fair price. The croissant was soft and buttery, the bacon was cooked well and the addition of the jam adds a nice surprising sweetness. I recommend getting the B.E.C. on any of their bun options; it's a great way to start the morning!
As for the service, the workers were quick, friendly, and helpful making the overall experience run smoothly. Though somewhat crowded, the lines were not too long and I was able to find seating quickly. Additionally, the decor was true to the show and created a pleasant atmosphere for socializing.
Overall, for the vibes and some pretty good food, this is the place to go! But I don't personally think it would be the best cafe for regulars or people trying to get work done due to its busy nature and non hand crafted offerings.
