I visited Central Perk Coffee Co. on Newbury Street for the first time today, and I was thoroughly impressed. The aesthetic of the place is stunning—beautifully designed with an ultra-modern vibe that makes it a welcoming and stylish spot to enjoy a coffee. I had the pleasure of trying their soft chocolate chip cookies, and they were absolutely delicious—warm, gooey, and perfectly sweet. I also ordered a hot vanilla latte with skim milk, and it was superb. The balance of flavors was just right, making it a delightful treat. Although we didn’t stay to relax, as we were on the go, I had the opportunity to interact with Gloria, the cashier. Her customer service was exceptional—friendly, efficient, and genuinely warm. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and contributes significantly to the positive atmosphere at Central Perk. Overall, my experience at Central Perk Coffee Co. was fantastic. The modern ambiance, delicious treats, and excellent customer service make it a standout spot. Keep up the great work, Gloria, and I look forward to returning for more!

Google
Boston bucket list item, check! Came to visit Boston for a few days with family and we ate at Central Perk before flying out on Monday. Such a pretty cafe, the latte with Friends' art designs are so cute!!!! And the tomato soup came in a Large coffee cup, was so delicious. My sister loved her avocado toast. Great service overall :). Hope they open one in South FL!

I thought for sure it was gonna be all aesthetic and theme, and no good coffee but I was pleasantly surprised. I got an Egg Nog Latte which I recommend. The place is super cool inside and a ton of Friends themed stuff and Easter eggs etc. Definitely check it out if you’re nearby.

Great spot for coffee and bites! If you’re a Friends fan this place is a must visit! Nostalgic and full of little details that friends fan would find it so joyful and heartwarming! Loved the decorations, merchandise and the food labels on the menu! With all this amazing stuff food and coffee were great! Central prek sandwich was so delicious and the brioche bread gave it a unique twist to regular egg and cheese. The light roasted coffee was so good. Overall a great spot in Newbury street!

Everyone here is so kind, especially Shak. He goes above and beyond what customers expect from a coffee shop. Just an absolute ray of sunshine! And this place is perfect for fans of Friends. So cute!

Here's a review based on your request: --- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As a New Yorker visiting Boston, I was both intrigued and slightly skeptical when I stumbled upon Central Perk Coffee Co. on Newbury Street. The idea of recreating the iconic Central Perk from "Friends" felt like a bold move, but I'm happy to say that they pulled it off with style! The interior is spot on, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that instantly brings you back to the beloved New York café from the show. The attention to detail is impressive, from the decor to the layout, making it a perfect homage to the original. It's clear that they didn’t just copy the idea—they took inspiration and added a unique Boston twist that makes it feel fresh and authentic. The coffee and food were top-notch as well, and the service was friendly and efficient. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, and almost expect to see Ross, Rachel, and the gang walk through the door. Kudos to the team for not only borrowing an idea from NYC but for executing it so well that it feels like its own special spot in Boston. Definitely worth a visit for "Friends" fans or anyone looking for a charming coffee spot with a great vibe!

Google
Central Perk Coffee is a charming coffeehouse and café concept that offers a delightful experience for visitors and fans of the TV series, Friends. Great coffee, delicious soup, and a lovely nod to the TV series! The decor is a standout feature, highlighted by the iconic Friends Orange Central Perk Sofa, coffee cup lights, and an array of seating options that provide a cozy and welcoming setting! Fans can explore a variety of Friends-themed merchandise, including drinkware, apparel, hats, magnets, keychains, and pens. The café also boasts a unique coffee blend aptly named "How You Doin'," from Joey's famous line from the show. As a cafe, their menu features a selection of beverages and an all-day food offering. The Soup of the Day, which was Chicken Noodle Soup served with a slice of bread was delicious and hearty, while the Iced Mocha from the drinks menu was equally satisfying. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their menu offerings. For those looking to work remotely, Central Perk Coffee provides ample seating and space to set up shop. While numerous outlets are available for charging devices, they can be somewhat difficult to navigate. The café tends to attract many tourists, particularly Friends fans, which can lead to a noisy environment near the front order desk and cashier. Additionally, there are a few outdoor seats and a mini patio with limited seating.

My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - "A Good Cup in a Great Spot" Prompt and Pleasant Service: 🙋‍♂️ The service at Central Perk was exactly what you'd expect at a bustling cafe—efficient and straightforward. The staff were friendly enough, ensuring a smooth experience from order to pickup. Unexpectedly Stunning Decor: 🎨 Despite having no personal nostalgia for the "Friends" theme, I was taken aback by how visually appealing the cafe is. The vibrant color scheme of orange and green brought a lively, energetic vibe that's both study-friendly and perfect for social gatherings. The neon signs and thoughtful layout make it an Instagram-worthy destination, regardless of its TV show inspiration. Standard Fare with a Gourmet Flair: 🍽️ While the lattes were pretty standard, they were well-executed. Though not groundbreaking, the coffee provided a solid, enjoyable experience. It's the kind of consistency you'd want for a daily coffee run. Reflecting on the Central Perk Experience: 🤔 This cafe beautifully balances theme with taste. While the food and drink may not be revolutionary, the environment and service elevate the ordinary to something much more enjoyable. Final Thoughts and Recommendations: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - "Good Vibes, Good Coffee!" "Central Perk Coffee Co isn't just a nod to nostalgia; it's a genuinely charming spot that stands on its own merits. Perfect for fans and newcomers alike, it's a must-visit when you're in Boston's Back Bay." Whether you're looking to relive a bit of '90s nostalgia or simply in search of a cozy spot to unwind, Central Perk Coffee Co offers a memorable escape with every visit. ☕🍂

Yelp
Coffee and pastries were surprisingly good and the chairs were comfortable, but if you're going here to read or work be prepared for very loud music blasting over their speakers that made it feel more like a bar. Had to put my headphones in on noise cancelling mode to focus on my book over the music.

Yelp
I've been here a few times and it does get quite crowded in the later afternoons even though there are a lot of seats. I recommend coming in earlier to snag a seat. The ambiance is really nice though, it's a great place to chat with a small group of friends. A lot of cute photo opps to match the Friends' Set. The menu items also have cute names reminiscent of the show. I've tried some of the coffee specials like the red velvet one, but I thought it was pretty ordinary and pretty pricey. I do think the food is really great! I tried one of the Thanksgiving sandwiches and it was AMAZING! I was surprised just cause the coffee was okay, so I wasn't expecting the food to be good. I definitely want to try their other food items and maybe some of the pastries as well.

Angelina R.

Yelp
In general, I thought the cafe had great, energetic vibes. It's a must see for any die-hard Friends fan. Some might wonder if a place like this though is simply a tourist trap, and I would say yes and no. The prices are fair compared to any other cafe you'll find in the city and the food is decent! However, from my experience, the matcha left something to be desired. It did not seem like ceremonial grade and it had an odd, "manufactured" flavor to it. Though it was admittedly smooth and had a strong matcha flavor, I would not recommend it due to its off-putting aftertaste. Honestly, I feel customers might be better off getting their food or pastries than their drinks, however, I would give it a try yourself as they did seem to have some fun seasonal flavors! On the other hand, the sandwich was filling and satisfying for a fair price. The croissant was soft and buttery, the bacon was cooked well and the addition of the jam adds a nice surprising sweetness. I recommend getting the B.E.C. on any of their bun options; it's a great way to start the morning! As for the service, the workers were quick, friendly, and helpful making the overall experience run smoothly. Though somewhat crowded, the lines were not too long and I was able to find seating quickly. Additionally, the decor was true to the show and created a pleasant atmosphere for socializing. Overall, for the vibes and some pretty good food, this is the place to go! But I don't personally think it would be the best cafe for regulars or people trying to get work done due to its busy nature and non hand crafted offerings.

Yelp
Central Perk Café is an absolute gem for any Friends fan! Walking in, it feels like you've been transported straight to the iconic coffee shop from the show--cue the "I'll be there for you" theme song! From the couch to the signage, every detail is like a love letter to the show, and it's as cozy as the cast made it look. The ambiance is just as lovely as you'd hope. The staff? Friendly enough to give Phoebe's charm a run for its money! Service is prompt and warm; they make you feel right at home, like you're about to meet the gang for coffee and endless sarcasm. I was mostly there for the vibes and a chance to pretend I was the "seventh friend", but I couldn't resist picking up an almond croissant. It was delicious--could it BE any tastier? Whether you're a Friends fanatic or just looking for a unique, fun café experience, Central Perk Café doesn't disappoint. They'll have you pivot-ing back in no time!

Aruna K.

Yelp
I want to give 100 ! Friends fans ?! this IS the place to relive it. You can buy Phoebe's grandma's cookies, Rachael's salad, Gunther espresso, Ross's sandwich with the moist maker.... everything.... and the orange is prominent all over the store- couch Ofcourse, then the cups and plates.... its all there, so well done that I realized I missed Chandler :(. The girl who helped us out was as excited as me to meet someone who knew Friends series. It was an accidental find and we had already had dinner or would have got more than Phoebe's cookie and a chocolate croissant- both were soo good and steeped in nostalgia, which nade them even softer and tastier. Ambiance is great. Prices are reasonable. Cafe has free wife and a huge student crowd was there busy on their laptops sipping coffee and crunching away some numbers or details.... soo not how the 'Friends' intended..... Lol.. Hopefully I can go back there with my own laptop and sip coffee while I wait for my friends to turn up....

Kasey H.

Yelp
They got me! I just love Friends - big sentimental vibes. And the orange couch! So good. They've got themed drinks, which I thought were yum and reasonably priced! Seemed like a lot of people were working there, so it's got a lovely fun but quiet working cafe vibe. Highly recommend for the tourist aspect, a spot to catch up with friends, or a place to plug in and churn out some work.

Mahsa N.

Yelp
Nice spot! Their marble cake was very good and their coffee is on point. It's just a bit loud inside so not ideal if you're trying to read / get work done, but a nice spot to catch up with folks!

Whitney D.

Yelp
If you are a friends lover you will like this coffee shop alot. It has plenty of seating and the vibe is obviously from the show friends. I did not have anything to eat here but I did have a cappuccino which was ok but think it gave me a little stomach ache. But besides that this place has a cozy vibe to it. Great place to meet friends for coffee or do work from. There is outdoor seating here as well. They also have an area towards the back where they sell alot of different merch. Sweatshirts, shirts, mugs, coffee. And if you see in my pictures the coffee is named after funny sayings that was in the show.

Natalia J.

Yelp
OH. MY. GAWWWD. Could this BE any more cute? The menu - hilarious. The decor - spot on. The food - delicious. Ironically the nitro coffee was the low point of the experience, but it was nice to sit and enjoy the decor and the nestlay tulhausa cookie and moist maker. All of the decorations are speckled with references, from the chick and the duck on the hallway door to the purple doors leading to the bathroom. Everything is very well thought out by someone who must've been a big fan. They sell a super cute assortment of Central Perk branded paraphernalia that I'll most definitely have to pick up. Friends fans one and all, come check out this spot!

Ashley D.

Yelp
This was so cute! I loved the little decorations and the menu had nods to some of the show's inside jokes. The coffee itself was okay/pretty good but I think it was worth it. Everyone was so nice and the place was packed with people working on their laptops and hanging out with friends - a really good atmosphere.

Jennie S.

Yelp
This place was super cute friends inspired cafe but it left us disappointed. Food was mediocre and left us unsatisfied. The only thing that our group enjoyed was the ham and cheese croissant and the tomato soup. Grilled cheese was not cooked through and the sandwiches could cut your mouth open, the bread was so hard!! It's a cute experience but I wouldn't expect anything great to come out of it. Service is pay upfront and get your food/drink when it's ready. Was average paced.

Dana B.

Yelp
A fun to do when in the area! Great orange couch and iconic decor on the inside. How can you not lot a Friends themed place?!

Connie L.

Yelp
It's a cute cafe if you're a big fan of Friends. The coffees are all named after phrases & characters from the show so I went with Joey's signature How you Doin coffee. It wasn't bad for black coffee, but not incredibly good as there were no additional notes in there. It was about as standard as coffee could get with a cute name added to it. The interior is similar to what you see in the show so if you want, you can lounge on the same couch the friends did. But the place is always so busy it's hard to snag a good seat. If want to reminisce the show, it's a nice spot to add to your list but be prepared for some mid-priced gimmicky drinks.

Zachary F.

Yelp
As an avid FRIENDS fan we had to stop by Central Perk on our recent trip to Boston. We snagged a coffee and some sandwich's to start the day off. I opted just for the breakfast sandwich, a bacon egg and cheese on brioche. Sandwich was decent, a little too much bread to toppings ratio to me so it was a little underwhelming and dry. My girlfriend got the Moist Maker, a classic from the show, IYKYK. I preferred it over the breakfast sandwich, but overall just ok. This was more of a nostalgia experience if you're a FRIENDS fan in my opinion so the food and coffee was just an extra on top of the overall experience.

Erin W.

Yelp
Sooooo ... I was super excited for this to open and really wanted to love it because I LOVE FRIENDS!!! However, it was very underwhelming. This is a fun coffee shop ... based off FRIENDS the TV show. It is very cute inside and perfect for your Instagram-worthy pix, but I'm a little disappointed in the variety of menu items and their quality. The prices are decent for the area but not worth it for me .... based on the quality and execution of the products. The items on the menu do have some really creative names, which I appreciated it. Regarding the service, it had room for improvement. I came on a Sunday when they were very busy, which could be a contributing factor, but I still would have liked to be greeted with some FRIENDliness ... not irritation and annoyance. All in all ... I'm glad I came here to experience one time. Not sure if I would go back though.

Yelp
I was surprised to see a cafe with friends theme while walking on newbury street. The ambience was pretty nice and they did a give job in giving it the "central perk" vibe with the iconic orange couch. I tried iced mocha which was lovely. My friends ordered hot chocolate and cappuccino and they liked their drinks as well. If you are an avid friends fan then definitely give this cafe a try.

Em B.

Yelp
cute cafe on newbury street with delicious hot drinks. i tried their banana mocha latte and loved it! the cafe was packed so i took it to go, but i'll be back to try more. central perk cafe is one of the better cafes in boston.

Keerthi D.

Yelp
Central Perk Cafe is a F.R.I.E.N.D.S themed coffee shop that's the perfect place for a TV superfan to get a small bite and coffee. This cafe is located on Newbury Street and is easily accessible from the Copley Street Green Line T station. The space itself is pretty big but is usually crowded so make sure to prepare yourself for a wait. There's plenty of insta opportunities but it kinda feels awkward to take pictures with all the people inside. There's also a little bit of outdoor seating for when the weather gets nicer. The menu is super creative and fun - however, it's pretty limited. The prices aren't bad for the area, but I didn't order a drink since I wasn't craving a coffee in the moment. I ordered phoebe's grandma's cookie, which was a decent chocolate chip cookie. Overall, the vibe was cute since I love the show, but if you're looking for a place to actually sit down to eat/drink coffee, there's a lot of other places on Newbury St. to fulfill that.

Kerry H.

Yelp
Excellent counter service! Don't worry about the line as the barristers have it under control and the line moves quickly. Best chai tea!!!

Brooke C.

Yelp
Central perk was great! I was surprised to see how many fun drinks they had as "daily specials". I got a blueberry spritz from the daily special menu (non-alcoholic). It was quite tasty! The interior is of course the cute Friends theme and that part was lovely. There was plenty of seating when I went on a Sunday afternoon. I saw they had some cool cocktail options so I'd be interested in going back and trying out those too!

Alee L.

Yelp
This past Sunday my friend and I went to Central Perk to see what all the hype is. Luckily for us, we were able to find seating when we arrived. The time we were there, we hoped people would leave so we could get a chance to sit on the orange couch for a photo opp. Unfortunately, once we arrived, people started coming in non-stop and the place was packed. It's fine, we figured it would be hard to get a photo opp, plus people were not willing to budge or let others just take a quick pic. We both ordered the breakfast sandwich, and we both agreed it was dry. The breakfast sandwich seemed like the item everyone was ordering if not it was the bagel breakfast sandwich. I got the soup of the day as well and it was chicken noodle and it was nothing to rave about. Overall, I wasn't expecting outstanding food. The place is cute and pays tribute to the Friends TV show. I think because I've done the Friend's Experience in NYC, I think Boston's Central Perk doesn't compare. It's not as elaborate as the NYC one. Central Perk in Boston doesn't give you the exact feel, but it tries. If you are a Friends fanatic, it'll be worth a visit.

Briana V.

Yelp
I don't even watch the show friends and I was just in love with the vibes in this coffee shop. I got a matcha Latte with strawberry that tasted very fresh. The workers at the register were also super friendly persuading me to love to Boston, definitely was considering it after walking into this coffee shop that's right in the Newbury street district. It was also very clean and walking distance to many shops and places to eat: give them a try if you are in the area

Jenny T.

Yelp
Food: The "Chandler's chocolate cold foam latte" was AMAZING. Best iced coffee/chocolate cold foam I have ever had. It was so refreshing, and perfectly sweetened, just the way I like it. Service: The drink was fast at like 10am on a Wednesday. Ambiance: The store was sooo cute inside! Air conditioning was perfect, store was so bright and colorful. Great music, good vibes. Lots of comfortable seating areas.

P M.

Yelp
I live in Back Bay and have been coming to Central Perk since they opened. If possible, it just keeps getting better! Not sure when they added the avocado toasts to their menu but I had both for the first time within the past week or so. I am beyond happy for this perfect breakfast or quick snack option. Note that I'm not a huge siracha fan so I'd suggest asking that they cut down on that if you don't care for it. The version pictured is the version with radishes and red onions. I think it's perfect with no changes!

Carly F.

Yelp
i got an iced mocha latte with banana and hazelnut. it was delicious! very fast service, comfy seating and lovely decor, friends themed of course!

Caitlin S.

Yelp
Very cute cafe! Come here for the vibes of 'Friends'! My party did not indulge in any drinks, however they have a great combination of flavors in teas and coffees. We came to have a quick bite. The meltdown is not so melty. The ham and cheese sandwich was overwhelming with spicy mustard and hardened baguette bread. However the tomato soup was great! The staff were friendly and helpful. However I wouldn't come here again. Much better cafes on Newbury.

Cami C.

Yelp
An absolutely fun place to check out with your FRIENDS! This place does not disappoint. Whether you're a super fan of the show, just starting to watch it, or just someone who appreciates great coffee and funky aesthetics, this place is for you! You walk in and are greeted with a taste of Central Perk from the show. The iconic elements are all there, with the couch, the funky vibes, and a wonderful and welcoming staff. There is actually a lot of indoor seating, but it fills fast. The vibe is definitely a place to catch up with friends, not really to be doing work. It is a bit loud when it is crowded, but overall a really fun environment to be in. The menu is extensive and has all the fan-favorites, from the Moist Maker (sandwich), to Grandma's cookie (Nestle Tollhouse :)), to drip coffee with iconic names like "We were on a coffee break"! This place is a must for any fan! Now for the review of what I had. I went with a classic iced vanilla latte (with almond milk) and it was exactly what I was hoping for! I also got the veggie sandwich, which was delicious and vegan friendly! Would definitely get again! The line was long (pretty much out the door the whole time we were there), but moves efficiently. The wait for drinks isn't that bad, and food takes a bit longer, but I was preparing to wait longer than we did. Likely also depends on whether the order is to dine in or to-go. We took some pictures on the iconic couch and had a 10/10 experience. A great place to bring any super-fan, and even pick up some nice holiday gifts if you so desire with the merch.

Ankita S.

Yelp
I'm a self-proclaimed huge Friends fan so when I saw that there was an official WB-affiliated Central Perk cafe in Boston that opened recently, I knew I had to make it my first stop of our visit to Boston. While I'm glad we came here, I'm not sure I would make a second visit a priority. The idea as a modern take on the popular coffee shop was very cool. The space was large and had decor that was definitely reminiscent of the Friends set, but it was so crowded. Most of the seating was community-style, which was fine but it was still hard to find seating. As for the menu, we had seen that they had breakfast on their website but were not aware that breakfast ended at 11am. When we got there at1 11:30, we were told we had missed breakfast. I tried to get a blended drink and was inexplicably told they couldn't make those either. I ended up getting an iced caramel latte which was very underwhelming and a margherita focaccia which was fine, but I could likely make it at home for much cheaper. The photo op was very cool and for die hard fans, it was worth going, but even if I lived in Boston, I don't think this would be a regular spot for me.

Kristen E.

Yelp
A group of friends chose to caffeinate here because the lattes are so good, especially the iced ones. The staff were friendly, the menu is varied, and everything we ordered was delicious, from the moist coffee cake to the cappuccino. I particularly enjoyed my hot Chai tea latte. There are steps down to enter, but there is a variety of seating in and outside.

Amy B.

Yelp
I watched the TV show Friends a lot when I was younger and of course I came here! When I first entered I looked for the spot where Phoebe did her infamous song "smelly cat" . The service was welcoming when you enter with the cashier greeting us. They had a wide selection of food and drinks. The place was pretty busy, but there were people doing work on their laptops. It was definitely a top place for me to visit in Boston and grab coffee.

Camila N.

Yelp
This Friends inspired cafe has some nice decor. Unfortunately, the coffee is really bad. I couldn't drink the cold brew I ordered because the taste was grassy and sour. If you are a big fan of friends I would still recommend checking it out but avoid coffee drinks.

Kirtana S.

Yelp
Wonderful service, ambiance, and good food. I was able to read a cozy book here with a hot chocolate and it was perfect.

Talha R.

Yelp
Tried on a Friday between 4-6 pm, got their Golden Green tea and the service was quick. They were kind to offer me additional hot water for my tea after my first cup. The crowd was a mix of all ages and most people who came in mostly stayed for max 10 minutes. The place was crowded but it is still good for groups as their large sofa arrangements allow groups to sit together. Know if you are planning to do some work from this cafe, or want to meet someone at this cafe that the two people seating are usually occupied and you have to be real quick to occupy them when one of them frees up!

Frances L.

Yelp
Cute place for Friends fans but just ok for the coffee and ambiance compared to other coffee shops in the area. We wanted to stop by since it's newly opened and my son and I both love the show. I liked the photo ops and decor inside. However, the cafe is loud and busy. I'm happy I stopped by but wouldn't return.

Susan H.

Yelp
My husband and I were in town for the Fenway Home Opener and, as avid FRIENDS fans, we simply HAD to stop for coffee at Central Perk! AMAZING!! We stopped in for coffee on our way to the game. The ambiance is great. Very much like Central Perk, but also their own. The staff were very friendly, and didn't rush us while we looked at the menu to decide which beverages to get. I got an iced mocha and my husband got iced coffee with a little milk. Both drinks were made exactly how we wanted them to be, and my mocha was particularly delicious due to the Monin chocolate sauce they use. We left happy, saying we would definitely be back the next time we're in town. Cut to after the game, and we decided to go back to Central Perk for dinner. We both decided to have the Veggie Sandwich ("Avocado, tomato, cucumber, Alouette cheese on 9-grain bread" for $9.00). Given the ingredients, we assumed it would be the Garlic & Herb Alouette cheese, and we were right. The avocado, tomato, and cucumber were fresh and delicious. The bread was some of the best 9-grain bread I've ever had, and was the perfect compliment to the ingredients. It also came with a bag of chips that were quite tasty. I also got a decaf iced mocha and hubby got a decaf flat white and both were as delicious as our previous coffees. If we hadn't just bought regular and decaf espresso from our usual coffee house we would have bought a bag of each from Central Perk.

Sarah C.

Yelp
cute vibes but smores latte was too sweet and the cup sizes were deceiving. latte was strong enough but we asked for toasted marshmallow flavoring and it was non-existent

循

Yelp
Nice and comfy place with friendly staffs! The blond girl was very helpful. Had a great time there.

Claudia A.

Yelp
Very nice small coffee shop, however VERY small. The food and coffee were good, service is self serve. You go here for the aesthetics. If you're a friends fan, you'll like it.

Grace V.

Yelp
I love the show Friends. So when I heard that there was a coffee shop in Boston based on the coffee shop in Friends? I was in! The coffee shop is cute and quaint. I got the vanilla cream blended drink and it was delicious! I will certainly be back to try their food. The service here was outstanding as well! People were friendly and my drink was made quickly. The only complaint I had was that there was nowhere to sit and enjoy my drink because all of the seats were taken. There needs to be more seating. But I am really glad that I went and I will be back for sure!

James L.

Yelp
I like this place. Good places to sit, a surprising amount of natural light in some parts (considering that it's a "garden level" space a.k.a below ground level"), nice people in spite of being pretty busy. My iced Earl Grey was perfectly brewed (no bitterness), just a slight appropriate astringency), and the mezze plate was gorgeous and only $10! It had the usual suspects (hummus, tiny carrots of many colors, cucumbers, olives, tzatziki, bread) plus a few nice surprises -- radishes, a couple cauliflower florets, nuts, and a small medley of dried fruit. Open later (9 pm weekdays, 10 pm weekends) than most of the others around Newbury Street. The only downside was having to hear the middle aged corporate boys showing off their dealings and wheeling to each other like sharing Hot Wheels. It's just an older more staid version of tech bro talk, hard to tune out because there are too many verbal exclamation points. Or a newer more male version of Chinese moms bragging to each other about their kids' SAT scores. Ultimately meaningless except as a form of social bonding. In any case. A great place to stop for an afternoon break or a check-in with a friend over coffee.

Christine J.

Yelp
Such a cute gem of a cafe! A must visit for Friends fans or anyone who's ever watched the popular series. Despite being busy all the time, the servers/baristas are all friendly. Love all the little details of the cafe, from decors to memorabilia, Wifi PW to coffee roast names, everything ties it back to Friends! Also to our surprise, the coffee and baked goods were actually delicious. If you eat in, make sure to get your coffee in mugs bc they come in GIANT mugs just like the way they did it in the show. Pretty much a bucket of java. Came here for the novelty, will be back for the coffee/ambiance.

Yelp
This place is great for people obsessed with friends. They have nice photo opportunities. However the food and drinks are mediocre and due to its opening week, they were out of almost everything. Definitely not worth the hype.. but again, come here for the photos!

Yelp
I've been waiting for this spot to open for a while now! Although I'm not a die-hard friends fan, the interior is super cute and I love the couch outside. I got the "how you doin" drip coffee, which was pretty good--not too bitter or watery. It's a bit loud and crowded inside, so it's probably not the best place to get work done (but I'm guessing the crowds will die down eventually).

Yelp
This place is quite adorable, especially if you're a huge fan of Friends. I came here to study on a Tuesday and the chairs were comfortable and cold brew pretty good!

Yelp
I don't really care about the Friends show so this review is for those that are simply in it for a coffee shop experience Four black menu boards across the top of ordering counter. Way too spaced apart and visually difficult to make an informed decision as they all have sizeable drawings on them (can we please just stick to menu items and their prices, please?). Therefore, this slows down the ordering experience. Thankfully they have a couple of stands in the entrance area that point you to food items so you can read that before getting in line. Very nicely decorated. They spent time and $ on good quality chair and couch areas. As others have said, music is kind of on the loud side. Pastries and sandwiches and coffee are all overpriced ($6/ croissant) so you are paying for the 'Friends' immersion experience. Ladies at register are nice and helpful.

Yelp
We were a bit confused at first on how to get in, but we figured it out. The entire cafe is garden level. It was very cute and on theme for being a F.R.I.E.N.D.S themed cafe! The food was ok at best. Really lacked flavor, in my opinion but the matcha latte was pretty good. The ladies working the register were also very nice.

Yelp
Delicious coffee. Service was fast. And the vibe is excellent. It gives me a funny happy decor but very classy at the same time

Yelp
The atmosphere, the second you walk in, is so warm and inviting! The staff was incredibly friendly. I am not an avid coffee drinker, so I asked the barista, Charlie what he recommended. He made me the the most spledid chai with oat milk and peppermint! I was so happy to drink what he loved and he was happier to make it! Charlie and Natalie served us so well! The visit and the drink did not disappoint!
