Smoky Southern Barbecue Meets Asian Flavors at Seven Beef’s Replacement | Eater Seattle

"After a brief closure and an April announcement, I saw Seven Beef transformed into Central Smoke, an Asian-influenced smokehouse that melds Asian flavors with slow-cooked meats and Southern dishes in the Central District. The menu leans heavily on a new custom-built smoker and includes smoked oysters with kimchi, pork-and-squid sausage with barbecue sauce, green papaya salad with tea-smoked chicken, bavette steak with creamed corn, collard greens with bacon, and cornbread with honey crème fraîche; on Friday and Saturday there’s a limited supply of 20-hour smoked brisket. Mike Whisenhunt, formerly of Brimmer and Heeltap, oversees the menu, and Brandon Addicks teamed with Jon Christiansen to remake a cocktail list that incorporates smoke. The interior is slightly more casual—tablecloths removed and a colorful art installation added—while the restaurant’s large patio remains, and the restaurant is open Monday–Thursday 4–10 p.m. and Friday–Saturday 4–11 p.m., with new dishes being added daily or sometimes hourly." - Megan Hill

This smoke shop is easily one of the best around! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions and help me find exactly what I need. The store is clean, organized, and has an amazing selection—from glass pieces and vapes to all the accessories you could think of. Prices are fair, and they always seem to have the newest products in stock. Every visit feels quick and easy, and I always leave satisfied. Definitely my go-to shop, and I’d recommend it to anyone!

Just visited this place, they have some really cool smoking supplies, nice glass artsy bongs and pipes, from what I can see so far. This is a new smoke shop, they have more unpacking to do. I will visiting again tomorrow so I can see all of what they have to offer. I like what I have seen so far 1. Open late until 12am 2. Clean on the inside, 3. nice glass wear and 4. a decent stock of supplies. tomorrow I will have a much more detail review hopefully with some pictures and to see if they get max stars. Stay Tune😋 definitely deserves max stars ✨ the guy was very nice and attentive. Plus if there is something you want that’s not there let him know and he might just have it on your next visit.

Really pleasant, and interesting experience. I mean, there's stuff in here I had no clue about. These guys have literally EVERYTHING. Prices are decent, staff was polite, knowledgable and most importantly, chill. Definitely coming back!

Have most current things but hard to get coils for original style vape units, but they help you get or find items that you're interested in.

I wouldn't shop at Central Avenue Smoke Shop. I bought a battery for my vape pen and I'm not kidding you when I say that it broke the next day. The Wulf Vape product was very poorly made and I went for a refund/exchange and after spending over 30 dollars, I did not receive not even store credit. The manufacturer also has horrible customer service. I wouldn't buy from Wulf Vape either due to the low quality of their items.
