Google
Great location and it goes downhill from there. I couldn't believe the brunch drink prices, $15+ each, so I opted for beer which was also at a premium. The menu was not very extensive and after having the meal, seemed like the location really adds to the prices. The deviled eggs presentation was great but the taste was very bland. If it wasn't for the sweet pepper garnishes, it would have been tasteless. We also got the truffle fries and they were the bomb. Definitely my favorite item, so good. For my main item,, I ordered the Egg Sammie which looked delicious but by the time it came out, it was cold and didn't have much sauce so much of the taste came from the bread which was tasty. My wife ordered the French toast which was very delicious looking. The taste, however, was extremely rich and too much. The French toast itself, was very good and the perfect fluff. If there is a next time, we are going to go with the dark cherry sauce because the roasted pear tasted a bit odd. My friend got the shrimp and grits but didn't comment on it so not sure how it was but attached a pic. The service was subpar to say the least. I think the waiter was having a bad day because we all felt that we were inconviencing him asking for another drink or not being ready and quick to order. The location is right on SoCo and right under a hotel so there is a lot of foot traffic in and out. Not sure we will be back but it looked popular so check it out.

Good food and great service! I wish the draft beer selection list was a bit more extensive, but they do have some good choices. Smoked nuts as an appetizer and then I ordered a sloppy veggie 🍔 with fries. Wife got a side salad 🥗. The COVID menu is a limited but I love the nice cool vibe of the outside patio.

Google
Amazing option for brunch. One of my top picks in Austin. Their brunch options are very tasty with the prime hash being my favourite! The place looks really nice both inside and outside. They also have pastries. Unfortunately I am giving 3 stars because of two reasons: service was very slow and when we got charged the prices were completely different than in the menu and on their online menu. When we told the server he just deducted the overprice from the check instead of making a new one with the accurate prices. It was a little sketchy specially because the price difference on the dish was $4 which is a lot considering that it was a $14 dish.

Google
My favorite dishes were the oysters and the Banoffee tres leches dessert. The entrees we ordered were the Prime Rib and the Market Fish. The Prime Rib was cooked perfectly, paired nicely with the horseradish cream sauce and had a nice crust. The issue I had with it was that they put a sauce on top of the prime rib which I felt was overkill. A simple aus jus would have worked. The potatoes and brussels sprouts that came with it were great. The Market Fish was Black Drum fish which was a nice tasting white fish and came with green beans, peppers and cashews. It was decent tasting, but it's not amazing and I probably wouldn't order again. The fries were nothing out of the ordinary, but the fry sauce was great and was Dijon mustard based. Overall, it was a decent dining experience, but I wouldn't order the same meal again.

Google
We had a great brunch on the patio at Central Standard! Incredible food, good oysters, big menu with something for everyone. We had excellent service and an all around great time. Deviled eggs are the best! So good!

First time visit Central Stanard. Visited on a Saturday for brunch and did not need a reservation luckily. There is a parking garage close by making it easy to park. The location is right on South Congress and from there you can walk to the different shops. The interior was very nice and they were able to sit us by the window so we could look out. The menu looked delicious and I decided to order the Maple Bourbon Donut and the Standard Dip with a mimosa. The pricing is a bit high and I personally would not have put a mimosa at $8 when it is in a small champagne glass. Portion size was fairly big and I would have had leftovers, but I was hungry. For the maple donut, you can order a small side of bourbon to go with the donut, which we did. Watch out because the bourbon is strong at least for us it was. The only thing I would say about the meal was that I did not care for the au jus. It was just there for me.

Google
Excellent experience! Very convenient location on S Congress, which is great for walking up and down. The menu is a bit all over the place but my party of 5 really enjoyed the food. They even have octopus on the menu! It’s not your typical Texas BBQ but is welcome to a wide variety of foodies. They do not have your typical Mac-n-cheese and chicken fingers so I wouldn’t recommend for picky kiddos. Overall, 9/10 would recommend.

Google
Wow!!!!! The prime rib hash for brunch was the best thing I’ve had in a while. Nothing special but the way it was prepared and seasoned was so well done I couldn’t stop raving throughout the meal. So happy we went here!

Yelp
Went on a Sunday and sat outside which was very nice. Service was fast, kind and attentive. The vibe of the restaurant is bright and sitting outside on a nice day on Soco is fantastic. As for the theme of the restaurant I felt it seemed a little bland and didn't match the menu. Food was a bit expensive for the portions given and frankly the options were all over the place. I love a creative menu but there were not that many options for brunch entrees and the options that did exist were more unique ones. My breakfast was good with the highlights being the sausage and everything else being solid but nothing to write home about. The location and what I saw the rest of my table get is definitely inflating my review to keep it at 4 stars.

Maral C.

Yelp
Adorable restaurant with healthy food options in a bustling area! Here's what we ordered: -Crispy Mushroom Bowl: This light and delicious dish was even better with the added poached egg! The crispy mushrooms were fantastic! - Warm Quinoa Bowl: My friend liked it but said she should have ordered the mushroom bowl as well :) The service is neither too slow nor super fast, so plan your time accordingly!

Arriel N.

Yelp
*First Timer* I came with a group of 10 and the waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. Salmon Burger and fries were great. I would def return.

Erin D.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! The chai was very delicious, would've liked it hotter but great flavor! The yogurt and fruit were so delicious the fruit was ripe and the granola was a great touch! Enjoyed the breakfast sandwich a bit too much pesto for my liking but overall great! The service was great, very attentive. Although a little larger it gave a great coffee shop ambiance and right off 6th street so perfect!

Olgert B.

Yelp
Great service and ambiance. The ingredients were fresh and the flavor was delicious. There's no parking for the restaurant but plenty of street parking (paid) in front and in the back of the restaurant. The prices were reasonable as well.

Lianna T.

Yelp
Perfect brunch place - offerings are varied and delicious, service is kind and welcoming, ideally located on South Congress. We ordered the cafe scramble with roasted wild mushrooms, arugula, pepper and spinach as well as the kimchi has with pork belly and onions. Coffee was surprisingly tasty as well.

Valerie H.

Yelp
We've been wanting to try this place for a bit and decided to get a table on the shaded patio so my dog could join too. They had the menu posted in front of the entrance and immediately a few dishes had sparked interest. I ended up ordering the breakfast sandwich ($17) but with the added good stuff (the bacon and avocado) it added $10 to the sandwich. Yeesh right? But it was totally worth it. They didn't skimp out on the extras and it made the dish incredibly flavorful and filling. As for the cowboy breakfast, I picked on the sausage, beans and roasted tomatoes. The sausage definitely stole the show though. It was smokey and crisp, making it a perfect pairing for the beans. Food was delightful, the waitress was attentive, and the pastry chef had offered my pup a specially-curated treat. Although this was a pricier brunch, the food definitely lived up to it.

Yelp
Came here for brunch with my friends while we were visiting Austin and we were kind of disappointed :(( The place was super aesthetic, the food looked really good, and the staff was nice. Since we had a party of 7, the only place to sit was outside which was quite hot but there was a fan going near us. Some of my friends ordered the mimosas and iced coffee and they said it wasn't good at all :( I got the Cafe Scramble and I will say that it looked soo good and I was really excited to try it. However, the ricotta just had a weird taste, there was too much of it, and the entire dish was just overall bland. No seasoning whatsoever so I was let down by that. My friends got the buttermilk hotcakes, smoked salmon bagel, avocado toast, kimchi hash, and the ham & cheese croissant. The consensus for their food were as follows: -Buttermilk hotcakes were wayyy too sweet, candied lemons/lemon curd did not work, and hurt to bite into with all the sugar -Smoked salmon bagel was not bad but not worth $19. -Avocado toast was good but then again it's just avocado on toast with an egg. -Kimchi has was the best item out of the whole group, actually pretty flavorful, seasoned well, and not too spicy. -Ham and cheese croissant- well you can't really mess that up. Overall, I am pretty disappointed with our experience because the food should reflect the aesthetic of the place. I thought that everything was way overpriced for what it actually tasted like and I do not think that we will be returning the next time we are in Austin :(

Yelp
Café No Sé really delivered! We arrived around 9:45 a.m. and were fortunate to snag an indoor table just before the brunch rush. The menu had several irresistible options; I couldn't pass up the honey golden milk and the kale salad, which closely resembled one I make at home. I was also tempted by the beet falafel burger and ultimately decided to get one on the side--a decision I'm very glad I made. Everything was delicious, and the service was quick. It's a super cute spot with great menu items.

Christine W.

Yelp
Highly recommend making a reservation! They are always pretty busy when I go and for good reason. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and space to move around so it doesn't feel claustrophobic even at peak service. Service was fantastic as always. There was a small mixup while we walked to our table and it was not a big deal to my group but the manager was extremely apologetic and even offered an app on the house (which she totally did not have to do, but def. speaks volumes to their hospitality) Food was delish! We got pancakes for the table (of course). The no se'viche to share, and we got the smoked bagel lox, cafe scramble and avocado toast. Everything was great and good portions for brunch.

Priscilla L.

Yelp
Definitely one of my favorite brunch spots in Austin. All employees are super friendly and service is really fast! The inside of the restaurant is really cute and there's a lot more to do on South Congress. Best lox bagel I've had in Austin for sure. All our plates were really filling and every dish had really different flavors. Parking in the South Congress Hotel Garage is validated up to 3 hours and is on the same block, you just have to ask staff for a validation sticker when you leave the restaurant.

Ally C.

Yelp
3.5 In the middle of South Congress, we decided to get brunch here. There was surprisingly no wait on a Saturday afternoon and the people there were super nice! The food was good but nothing too special. We sat on the patio which was nice since it was a really nice day outside. I wouldn't say anything too special about this place. I wouldn't go out of my way to go again but maybe if I was in the area.

Mahima U.

Yelp
Beautiful place with delicious flavors and fresh ingredients. Went for a Saturday brunch, the place was packed. Tried their seasonal tartini, quinoa bowl, and fries....really nice with fresh and refreshing flavours. The mimosa tasted nice too. I would love to try more dishes in the future.

Unbiased R.

Yelp
Ridiculously over priced, mediocre breakfast items. I just had one breakfast bacon sandwich, nothing else, tap water for the drink. Came out to nearly $30 with a 20% tip. Rip off!

Maggie J.

Yelp
Popped in around 12:30 for lunch last weekend while we were shopping on South Congress. There were only a few other diners seated when we arrived so we have no problem getting a table. Service was quick and I quite enjoyed my greenhouse lettuce salad (with added chicken). $5 for a topo chico seems a little nuts but it hit the spot. Would go back.

Emily K.

Yelp
Honestly, 3.5 but will bump up to four.Good food. Pricey as expected attached to South Congress Hotel. Very cute inside and a nice little patio. Solid if you are hungry and not on a budget. Standard brunch food done well. No complaints.

Bethany A.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my time at Café No Sé! It's got a cute aesthetic, both inside and outside, with some comfy seating. Café No Sé offers a little bit of everything and is an excellent choice for coffee, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Food: The service was solid and the food was a pleasant surprise! I opted for the Cowboy Breakfast. It's a no frills plate, but was bursting with flavor and full of nice textures. I love when a place can do what's simple, but do it really well. I enjoyed the dish and am curious about the other menu items. Takeaway: I'm surprised I don't hear about this restaurant more. The menu is on the pricey side, but I had a solid experience, enjoyed my food, and will definitely be back soon. I'd recommend you stop in and give it a try!

Melissa I.

Yelp
I stopped in for lunch one day and the service was good! Very pleasant servers and very quick. I will say I ordered the burger, it was okay, honestly very underwhelming for the price. The mimosa was extremely expensive for such a small glass too. Very cute atmosphere but I wouldn't say it is anything spectacular.

Megan Y.

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy, but we came with a reservation and were seated very quickly. It's located right next to the Kendra Scott flagship store and nearby a retail parking garage. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte, the avocado bowl, and one of the pastries. The strawberry matcha was good but the flavors didn't mix well so I only got mouthfuls of matcha. The pastry was too sweet for me, but very warm and fresh! I loved the different textures in the avocado bowl but wish it had been seasoned more. Finally, I love that the restaurant is on a corner and provides ample people-watching opportunities. The service was also very good.

Michelle G.

Yelp
Overpriced for tourists. Wouldn't need to come back but it was good. Our server seemed new and nervous, but she was nice. Salmon bagel 8/10 Kimchi Hash 7.5/10 Loaded BLT 8/10

Erin L.

Yelp
I absolutely love coming here for data nights and brunch with the girls! This restaurant has the cutest and coziest vibes and has plenty of seating for larger parties as well. My favorite dish ever is the cafe spread (which is a hummus dip with pita bread) as an appetizer and the salmon burger! I would absolutely recommend this place if you want to take cute pictures and eat some good food! Food: 9/10 Service: 8/10 Ambiance: 10/10

Kayla B.

Yelp
Really liked the vibe here- it's in a very good area, prices are reasonable and service is attentive. They do self include tip for larger parties but most places do. The burger was excellent and the bottle champagne for mimosa was definitely enough for at least 3 people! Everyone really loved their meal but the burger was a standout for me. Would come again for a reliable brunch spot but nothing I would travel distances for

Ann Price B.

Yelp
I got the smoked salmon bagel and a butterscotch latte & it was all amazing! Hari was our server and he was fantastic as well.

Evelyn D.

Yelp
The food was really good, everything was made perfectly. The only thing that was done wrong was the customer service. Waiter did NOT come to checkup on us only when she was taking away the plates. My friend was in the middle of eating her sandwich when the second waiter comes to take away the plate and gets an attitude when we told him that she was still eating, he even did a petty hand gesture. We wanted to order more food but we were not asked if we wanted anything more not once, not for refills, for food, and ect. We were the only Hispanics in there i don't know if this was discrimination but it felt awful! This was my sisters birthday brunch as well!!

M T.

Yelp
Coffee was great, let's start with that. Service was mid, I had to wait for my food for about 20 mins and when I saw that someone else that came ten mins after who ordered the same thing got their food first it raised concern but didn't want to really bring anything up as mine had one extra item that they didn't order so I figured it was taking longer. Waited for another 5 mins and I had a work call so I just asked for it To Go. The server said that they were packing it up now. Then she went to the table that for the order after me and told them that they accidentally gave them the wrong order (aka mine which explained why it was late) and brought him his real order. To which I never got any apology they just dropped it off at my table and I was on my way. I feel like it was really unfair. Won't be coming back to dine in but may get coffee from them again as it was good as mentioned.

Max K.

Yelp
Wonderful cuisine, service, ambiance. Felt Mid-Century modern, with a fresh twist on menu. Great cocktail selection. Reasonably priced. Well worth it!

Bella G.

Yelp
order- butter croissant and a bowl of creamy tomato basil soup Look at how beautiful that croissant is!!!! She is gorgalicious. Crisp, flakey, buttery goodness. I have definitely said this before but I am a soup girl through and through. I am so much of a soup girl I ordered this tomato basil soup in the MIDDLE OF THE TEXAS SUMMER FOR LUNCH OUTSIDE - psycho energy tbh. Was it worth it? Yes. Am I judging myself for my order? A little bit. Nothing beats a hot cup of creamy soup on a hot ass day in May

Dominique E.

Yelp
I've had the chance to dine in for breakfast and dinner and both were exceptional meals. The location is just perfect being on South Congress and I appreciate the option for inside or outside. For dinner I had the Brussel sprouts and steak, and then for breakfast it was the chick pea poached egg bowl. They both were pretty tasty and I was satisfied. If you have friends or family visiting you, this place is a great spot to bring your people to just so you can then walk to the nearby shops or get Amy's ice cream!

Brianna G.

Yelp
Wonderful food! Great portions. The iced coffee was amazing I got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. Our server was Hari, he was so polite and provided excellent service! Was very helpful with recommending menu items and very attentive. The restaurant itself was very cute and great set up! We came on a Saturday and had a reservation we were sat immediately and even had the option to change to inside even though our reservation was for outside. Highly recommend!

Stacy A.

Yelp
So good 10/10.. I got the granola and it was HUGE.. and so good. The avocado toast was good too just a little pricy.

Holly D.

Yelp
I had a nice time at Cafe No Se, but the jury's still out on whether I'd go back. I had a large party which they seemed to easily be able to accommodate. We had pastries while we waited to place our food order, and food came out pretty quickly after it was placed. I got the pancakes with lemon curd and hibiscus syrup, and the syrup tasted straight up spicy. Was not a fan. I ended up eating the pancakes plain, with regular syrup, which I could've easily had at home. The pastries, particularly the croissants, were burnt as well. Next time I would try something more lunch-like than breakfast-like. The place itself is obviously beautiful and has amazing light. I wish the food I got had been better, but I'm definitely willing to try again.

Mason S.

Yelp
There was indoor and outdoor seating. Our waitress took her time so everything we ordered was correct but it did take a lot longer than we anticipated. The shaken iced latte was delicious. If you are a fan of carmel flavoring they did not have that but they did have butterscotch and vanilla. The kimchi hash in my opinion was soooo good. The BLT sandwich was a hit at my table as well.

Aditi R.

Yelp
Overall I had a very positive experience at Café No Sé! The chai latte was one of the best I have had in a long time! I got the Café Scramble and it was also quite tasty. I wish the toast came with butter but when I asked the server he brought it out no problems! Our server was very nice and the food came out very quickly. We stayed for a bit after and just chatted and did not feel a rush to leave at all. The decor is very cute and fits the "Austin aesthetic" perfectly. I would definitely go back!

Rhonda P.

Yelp
Food is delicious here! Our server was welcoming & funny. Whenever we visit Austin, we'll always try to stop in!

Daisy L.

Yelp
Food: I had the kimchi something, BUT IT WAS SO GOOD. The best dish only thing is it has pork belly if you are someone who doesn't eat pork I would try any of their breakfast sandwiches Service: very fast and nice Ambiance: I went on a rainy day so it was extra chill but surprisingly still busy

Stephanie W.

Yelp
Solid 3.9-4 stars. This is a light, open, airy cafe on a corner in a fun part of south Congress with lots of shops and areas to walk. The food is really good and there are a pretty solid number of options including vegetarian plates as options. We got the pancakes with lemon curd/hibiscus syrup and the cafe scramble - both were lovely. We were too full for dessert after but I was very curious about the chai pear cake. The service was overall decent; the hostess was friendly enough and our server was very polite. For whatever reason I did have this sensation of being a little of an "afterthought," like we were just seated and then had radio silence for a bit before being asked by a waiter if we had been helped yet. In fairness though the place was poppin at the time (lunch time in a Friday) and the waiter was very quick and helpful after that point. Overall I would come here again if invited to try some other things on the menu.

Connor B.

Yelp
The service and the atmosphere was great! However, the food was lowkey mid. Probs wouldn't recommend. There are wayyy better places in Austin. Sooooo just skip guys. :)

Rebecca L.

Yelp
Cafe No Se was delicious. I would recommend this place to large or small groups looking for a tasty bite. The service was relatively quick. We wanted to sit on the patio, there were not tables available, so we were placed on a virtual waitlist. I received a text when our table was ready. This allowed us to walk dow the street and grab coffee, while we waited. The menu had a good mix of healthy and more naughty items. I ordered the lemon ricotta hotcakes. They were delicious, light and fluffy, but there was no lemon flavor at all. The breakfast sandwich was nice. The break was toasted to perfection. I would highly recommend it. Located between Kendra Scott and Maie Day.m, on South Congress. Parking can be an issue. There is free 2 hour street parking, some paid parking garages, or you can valet for this restaurant. We will be back another time.

Eileen B.

Yelp
Service was great and the salmon burger was a revelation. Finished with the paleta which was so good and refreshing!

Tina P.

Yelp
Came for dinner at 6pm on a Friday night and there was plenty of seating! No need to worry for reservation. I've come during lunch before and prefer the lunch over the dinner menu. I was a bit disappointed by the taste of the food but what can i expect when it sounded a bit gentrified. The restaurant seemed to have a spin off of a few ethnic dishes and it did not satisfy any cravings for me. I ordered the ceviche and was surprised that the taste of the coconut rice was so overpowering and made this dish a bit odd. I ordered the Tigre Del Mar which was a new item on the menu and seemed to be a version of the viet vermicelli bowl. I admit the coconut sauce it came with made the dish very bland and the portion was very small as well. My friend ordered the pasta and it was filling however not very flavorful either. Overall i would come back for lunch but not dinner in the future. This place definitely has a great vibe and a convenient location if you're trying to walk around South congress after a quick meal!

Tracey Z.

Yelp
Was very excited to eat here but honestly kind of underwhelming. The place was really pretty but it was packed. Kind of loud. I got the Red Quinoa bowl - it was really pretty when it came out but it was kind of flavorless. It was warm and the toppings honestly didn't really add much. Pretty pricey for just this bowl.

Deanna J.

Yelp
Excellent for brunch and indoor or outdoor seating. Nice wait staff- Prime location too!

Cathy L.

Yelp
This is a beautiful cafe on South Congress. The insides are stunning with wicker chairs and lovely wood tones throughout. There are almost three different sections all with different decor and vibe. It's just a nice restaurant I would bring friends and family to. Being on South Congress parking can be tough. We were able to be seated without any reservation or wait. I tried the charred octopus on sourdough but thought the combination was a little bit weird. The octopus was a little tough to chew and I was not a big fan of the capery tomato sauce they used. It didn't seem to elevate the octopus. My partner got the loaded blt and it seemed like a regular sandwich and salad. I'm not that impressed with the flavors of the food. I feel like you could get it anywhere. The portions are a little on the small side and very casual. This place might be better suited for a quick lunch than any fancy dinner.

E.J. Z.

Yelp
Service was good, food was excellent and my guests and I sampled each others dishes . So good . I don't go to soco much but I would def come back here. Exceptionally I'd note the miso noodle dish my husband ordered was really good and different which means : not bbq and texmex ; it had a nice umami balance and the gazpacho was refreshing .

Raquel M.

Yelp
Let me start from the obvious, parking in that area is horrific. Now, the food is decent, the French toast is my favorite thing on the menu. Service was ok first time I visited, this last time it was poor. I had to ask for water three times, he failed to come to the table - super long delay and the restaurant wasn't even that busy...and it can get super busy at times. Items are overpriced. The venue is nice with indoor and outdoor seats and this location is historically relevant, with some street vendors of handmade crafts, arts, and numerous restaurants and stores nearby. Overall, I will give an approximate of 4stars because the French toast is what gets me to come back. They should improve services - considerably. Oh, I also had the salmon bagel, which is "blah" . The bread is not fresh and although the presentation was ok, it was not flavorful. Portions are small, and, again, very overpriced for the quality. I recommend Abba or Perlas nearby, if you are looking for a great experience: great food, good/great services, same price range.

Madison T.

Yelp
Amazing experience! Hari was our waiter and he was so kind, helpful, and great! Hari made our experience perfect and was so personable yet professional! Will be asking for him every time we visit Café No Sé! Food was great! I got the kimchi hash and I would eat it every single day! Atmosphere was quiet and aesthetic. We were celebrating a birthday and Hari brought us out the best macaroons we have ever had with a candle! Definitely recommend Café No Sé and asking for Hari!

Sara P.

Yelp
Good food, great coffee. I've probably visited 5+ times now. Top Picks - Breakfast Sandwich - Smoked Salmon Bagel Cafe No Se is connected to the South Congress hotel so you can even grab a coffee to go and take into the hotel lobby to enjoy.

Nancy R.

Yelp
Great food. Fresh ingredients. Attentive wait staff. Great spot to eat in the heart of the city.

Candice N.

Yelp
There was about a 30 minute wait during Sunday brunch but this place did not disappoint! The food was delicious! Music is a little loud, it's a lively atmosphere inside for sure. Staff is helpful and friendly. Will go back soon because so many other dishes coming out of the kitchen looked amazing!
