With modern art it's most of the time "there is always something interesting" but here I found that hard to find. Why should I be interested in family photos and various scribblings of an artist? I have enough of those at home myself. And the other "art" was typical 1970s stuff that was en vogue in those days. Ok, call it flash backs. And the gallery assistants were more nerves then they needed to be, following me around all the time Maybe the nicest part was the scale model of the real thing in Paris designed by architects Richard Rogers and Renzo Piano.

This building is incredible both from outside and also inside with the light playing while it’s sunset The collection is inspiring, art is healing ❤️‍🩹 I was very lucky to have no queue on a Sunday for a free entry after 16:00 The museum shop has the moat beautiful souvenirs and the best collection of books art, philosophy and reflecting books.

Google
A great place to visit if you love modern and contemporary art. The ticket on the official website costs €7, while some third-party sites sell it for around €9, so it’s definitely better to buy directly. The museum also has convenient parking nearby, which makes the visit easy. The colorful cube outside is iconic, and the exhibitions inside are well-curated and inspiring. Highly recommended for art lovers visiting Málaga!

A very beautiful centre of contemporary art. An inspiring building that tries to keep the connections with the original centre in Paris. Inspiring exhibitions and a very interesting architectural elements of the building.

We visited on a Sunday after 4pm which it’s free, even for the Kandinsky exhibit. Lovely displays of work. Very hot inside still. The gift shop I feel could be a bit better as it’s very small.

Interesting museum. But you need to have a taste for modern art in order to fully enjoy the visit.
