The 19 Best Restaurants In Buenos Aires 2024

"Once you walk into Centro Asturiano, you’ll feel like you’re in an old tavern in northern Spain with wine bottles, vintage photos, and antiques everywhere. Come for lunch after you tour the Barolo Palace and Parliament Square, order one of their ridiculously large tortilla españolas, and add on some gambas al ajillo that’s served sizzling in the traditional clay pot. Close out your lunch with a cup of custard." - martin chavesta, annie bacher

I have gone frequently to this restaurant for the last year because I like their food quality and good value. The atmosphere is very casual and family oriented but I think needs an upgrade. It is not a fancy place if that’s what you are looking for but the food is great.

Traditional spanish restaurant in old club, very friendly and professional waiters, dated but comfortable decoration and setting, prices are moderate and portions are medium sized, tasty tortilla and filled peppers. Typical Spanish Argentine cuisine and desserts.

Entrance to the place is a mess. Nobody receives the guests so people with reservation is waiting along the people without reservation and nobody alerts you. Of course I can't speak about all the waiters but the one serving us was extremely rude and showed he was annoyed with our questions, and was not ready to help or explain neither about the ingredients or portion size. You need to be ready to wait your food for a long time. Also can be related to your good or bad luck with the waiter. Portions are big.

Really good Spanish food reasonably priced and abundant servings.

This is not a touristy place. This is located in one of the traditional Spanish clubs of Buenos Aires, no sign outside, you get in and into the 3rd floor, where the restaurant is. Not fancy, but as local as it gets. Great Spanish food, abundant portions and attentive staff. Prices are reasonable, and food is great. If you want a different experience, this is a great place to try.

My wife and I have eaten here twice with my fellow English teachers. Once to celebrate our TEFL certification and once for our 15th wedding anniversary. Both occasions have been a complete delight. The Basque cuisine is simply incredible, the service is always impeccable, and the atmosphere is straight out of a classic golden age Hollywood film. An amazing experience, one of which we will continue to enjoy as long as we are in this beautiful city.

Local restaurant on top floor ofbthe Asturian society of buenos aires. By far best paella and seafood in town in a traditional neighborhood ambience. Don’t expect anything fancy, but top notch spanish food.

The food its good but not incredible The servers are fully disrespectful with all members of the table. They decide the order they want with your food. If i want to have dessert, then my food and then fingerfood im the client!!! We had half the table eating TWO hours later cause our server "couldnt ask the kitchen to run the entrees and main at the same time" He was rude with the 80 year old b-day grandpa who wanted to.blow.the candles with the grandkids. And he keep taking jokes to far and leaving the serving of dishes half done. The restaurant has high ceilings, so its loud with echo and noises from all the customers. We left with a 50k bill and disappointed with the whole evening
