Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci

It was my first ever visit at Centro Pecci, i was literally mind blowed. It is the second contemporary hub ever opened in Italy, careful it is not a gallery or a museum but it is much more. The general manager, Stefano, gave us a tour showing the different areas of the exhibition that has an insane in-depth study of the details from architecture, lights exposition to setting and last the outstanding selection of artists and works. The tour and the level of the presentation was far above any expectations, emotional and in the same time entertaining product of a very talented and knowledgeable GM. I will surely come back. It is a must see stop / designation for contemporary art enthusiast and collectors as myself. 10/10

Fantastic art gallery with a remarkable collection housed in an incredible building. Easy to catch the bus from Prato or Florence. Nice gallery shop as well. Staff welcoming.

I saw a great exhibition of Massimo Bartolini - Hagoromo. Definitely worth a visit.

One of the most unique Contemporary Art Museum in Italy.

The building itself is very impressive. Maybe I got there on a bad day but the exhibits were seriously dated, spectacularly academic and non visual. The content focused on a set of existentialist conceptual artists. The experience stuck me as though the museum could not afford to mount a real contemporary show & instead had pulled out notes and photos of artists and their work from their library.

Visited the museum on a saturday morning and it was good, I loved Marcon's rooms. But the bistro was the real thing, the guy with glasses was so friendly and made me the best cappuccino I had in Italy. And he told me that his sister lives in Poland as well! Even the sciacciatina was very good. Thank u!

I visited once with my friend. He is in jail now but still has memory !
