Great pizza! Everything is fresh and flavorful. It is thin crust, so it does get soggy. But that’s to be expected. The rusticci is a great “secret menu” item. Baked Cheese and bread (and your choice of meat) served with pizza sauce.

Google
Amazing little pizza joint!! They do NOT take reservations so bring your appetite and patience. I would recommend trying one of their in house brewed beers with your pizza to complete the experience. Save some room for dessert and walk around back to their Storico cafe and order a cannoli. You’re welcome

If you're going to visit this place, please make a reservation! Parking is difficult also. if not in the rear parking, then side streets and a local parking lot up the street. Front of location is severely limited to space, and rear dining area is a very impersonal experience. In addition, the heaters on a such cold day didn't work too well. The front dining area had a wonderful feel, rustic, out if time, with an open air oven and food prep. The best experience was eating the delicious pizza. 3 of us required at least 2 to 3 pizzas, as the pizzas were small ti medium size. There's beer wine and sodas , plus other good entrees . Veggie and meat lovers are available. The only problem with this local is time management. People have no regard for waiting patrons. People just sat there; 1 to 2 hrs after they ate just chit chatting. And though the service people were trying to seat us, the location is only built to seat so many. So please make a reservation and get there 45 min early to be seated... if not, come later in the night or visit a different location. The best part, of course, was the food and the decor. For this, i give them a strong 3.

My wife and I came for lunch on a Friday just as they opened. We sat on the back patio. First off, quite a deal on the 1/2 litre of house wine. A perfect amount for lunch. We both ordered pizzas and they just hit the spot. So after the 1/2 L of wine, we ordered a dessert, which was probably not needed but just delicious. Ice cream, cherry, chocolate. What is not to like? The vibe was very relaxed and we so enjoyed the food. For a lazy Frisay, just a perfect setting.

Google
Delicious take on Italian pizza. The waiter was pleasant. The pizzas delicious. Bread with oil and vinegar $3. This was our second time here and always dog friendly outside. We had the Arugula limone salad with the margarita pizza and burrata pizza. Perfect little spot for a good dinner. Wish they wete open between the 2-5pm time 😅

Google
Great restaurant with super attentive staff. The appetizers, the caprese salad, and the pizza were amazing. We ordered the pizza with buffalo mozzarella. The quality and presentation of everything was excellent. The interior and exterior were great. The vibe was very warm and inviting. The only minor item was that the calculated tip on the receipt is based off of post-tax amounts which is common, but I still prefer the pre-tax calculation method.

Google
Great little Italian spot in downtown Tustin. Really adds to the revival of the town. They have a brick oven for amazing pizzas, really fresh ingredients, their own brewery (I'd recommend the honey cream ale) and a cute Lil garden patio outback. Stands out as an authentic Italian restaurant with modern flare. Highly recommended.

Google
Hidden GEM. Do not tell your friends, do not tell your family about this place. I want to keep it all for myself. Absolutely charming in the heart of Tustin hotel, Redstone building interior and exterior. Woodland House brewery. Pizza and the panini are both Fuji expect in the alleys are flown not Tustin. However Centro seem to have managed to bring Rome to the heart of Old Town Tustin. I had the social shelter Pizza and my wife had the bruschetta panini. My pizza would be must have chili oil was awesome. And my wife's Panini was the perfect mix of hot and cold, we loved it. Breauna was absolutely the best, knowledgeable and charming. Her recommendations were on the point. I absolutely recommend Centro, for small family gathering, date night or any occasion when you're looking for great food with freshly brewed beer Our ticket was 40 bucks for two people

Yelp
I loved this place! Super cozy, really friendly staff but not overbearing, and tbe food is simple and good. Such a great treat! We sat outside and it just felt like siting in your backyard. Absolutely delightful. I love small places-this restaurant is one of those place. I will be back!

Yelp
I love local spots. Unfortunately, this didn't do it for me. Located in Old Town Tustin, the location and vibe is very quaint and charming. But that's about as special as it gets here. We ordered two salads, and a pizza. Everything was just very underwhelming. The service was slow. Nothing memorable. The salads were huge but all green. Very stingy with other toppings and ingredients. If I want a rustic pizza and bite after bite delicious salad, Centro is not it.

Yelp
Absolutely adorable little establishment. We arrived right at 5 o'clock at opening and we're lucky we did because within 10 minutes It was swamped. Menu consists of Panini's and pizzas all cooked in the Woodfire oven, which was amazing. Our server was Israel and he was a 20 of 10. Really made you feel welcome, friendly, educated, explain things well, and never made you feel rushed despite being the only server in the entire place Order a salad to start and it could've used some seasoning which was an ongoing theme. But the arugula is Chris and it was a pretty nice balance overall once you added salt. We did the half order and was plenty for two of us to share. Ordered pizzas. I did the mushroom, my husband did the pepperoni and sausage which was not on the menu, but they were happy to accommodate and both of my kids got cheese pizza. All of the pizzas came out on a very nice crust. They obviously use double zero flour because it was late and still crispy. The cheese is certainly not from a bag and delivered by Sysco. It was a little watery but light and stringy. my mushroom pizza also came with ham on it. The mushrooms were just like white mushrooms that were sliced up. And the ham was very flavorful, but I would've preferred some caramelization or something mushrooms that disappointment. Sausage and pepperoni pizza pepperoni were spicy and we really liked them. The kids loved their pizza as well. Overall place with a great atmosphere. The only deduction was because all of our pizzas really needed salt as did the salad and I wasn't thrilled with the mushroom selection on mine. I would definitely go again and just try to eat something different or stick with the pepperoni.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. We have been coming here for quite some time. You can't go wrong with any of their food. We love their pizzas, salads and appetizers. We always get great service when we come here. The place has a two family style tables and about 4 two seater tables inside and then they have some more tables outside in the back of the restaurant. Tonight we ordered the caprese salad as an appetizer and my husband ordered the Capriciosa pizza and I ordered the Prosciutto pizza. Everything was delicious. Love this place!

Celine S.

Yelp
We had a pretty good pizza here the last few times. It's a cute and cozy little pizzeria with a few nice outdoor tables in the back of the shop. Service is always very good and the pizza is pretty good too, the crust gets a little soggy in the middle but I think that's pretty standard for Neapolitan style. We will be back.

Arlene H.

Yelp
Israel was quite literally the best waiter I've ever had. He has the perfect demeanor and energy. Atmosphere is intimate but casual. food and wine were delish!

Yelp
Centro in Tustin! Another one of our favorite haunts! Our go to on the menu... the Calzone and the Scamorza! May I have a Peroni please? Centro is a Restaurant, a Winery and a Micro Brewery. Shout out to Rene for the awesome service! Let's support local and family owned businesses! Yelp
I believe the food here is very good! The price is a little high for what you get, but they use quality ingredients. They have a $30 carry out minimum, and if this wasn't there I would order more from them personally. I have only ever had their pizzas so I can't speak for their beer.

Sue V.

Yelp
It eould be great if they would support the local community. They used to but do not. It's unfortunate.

Ching L.

Yelp
Love the wine sampler! It is such a cool concept! Wish more places had these for indecisive, analysis paralysis folks like me. Unfortunately, because I can't MATH, I thought one wine sampler (8oz) = 1 glass of wine (5oz) and that is how I got wasted on a weekday night. If you still trust my alcohol-tinted opinion, here it is: Vegetariana: loved all the veggies on this, especially the arugula. Was debating whether to get a salad + pizza or two pizzas so I'm glad this was basically a hybrid. Tasty and you get your greens! Scamorza: hubby and I got them to hold the pancetta on half the pizza so I could have it without. It was interesting with the rosemary but it wasn't very flavorful otherwise. My guess is that modifying it to be vegetarian took the flavor out. The place is small and casual. Very friendly staff. My only ask is please please have more vegetarian pizza options, especially on the white pizzas! We'd love to come back!

Valerie C.

Yelp
After taking a pottery class nearby, we decided to have dinner at Centro. The restaurant is small inside and casual, and they also have a few tables out in the back for outdoor seatings. Staff is very friendly. Food was excellent, so was their wine selection. We got everything in half portion, and it was just enough for a light dinner for 2. We got the Cesar salad. I loved how the lettuces were crisp and not drenched in dressing, and it came with an actual anchovy. The pizza was great too- artisan style, with chewy crust and airy dough. Quality food and definitely worth every penny.

Patrick M.

Yelp
Amazing experience. The pizza is a napoleon Style brick oven pizza. Fresh ingredients. The bruschetta appetizer was refreshing. The pizza was absolutely amazing. One of the better Napoleon style pizzas I've had. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and good outside seating. Very small restaurant so wouldn't recommend parties bigger than 4. They had great wine and a good IPA. 5 stars. Bookmarked and saved!

Matt H.

Yelp
I had been eyeing this place for ages, but for one reason or another, wasn't able to convince my various dining partners to go. So... I popped in for a solo late afternoon bite. It was happy hour, so I got a small discount on a glass of wine and enjoyed a very nice margherita pizza. The place is small and cozy, with a nice vibe, and the service was friendly. I wish I had not taken so long to try it, but I think I will be back again, even if it just for me.

Jessica R.

Yelp
This was my first time here and came with co workers around 6pm on a Friday. We got here just in time because as we were leaving it was super busy. The place was super cute, and the music gave it a chill vibe. Super good pizza, and gives a cute, Italian ambience. Here's what we ordered and I loved all of it: * Arugula Limone Salad * Hummus Appetizer with veggies * Scamorza pizza and pancetta (which it comes with, or the option of speck). I asked them to add ricotta cheese and mushrooms as extras. This pizza is a pizza Bianca so it had white sauce just how I like it. Only bad thing about this place is looking for parking. Other than that, I loved it! Also they don't take reservations so plan accordingly.

Archie S.

Yelp
You will find Centro at the old town Tustin area. Parking can sometimes get a little tricky but on the weekdays it shouldn't be hard to park. Now this is a tiny little restaurant with a lot of personality. It has maybe 4 tables inside and some outdoor seating but no one will be crazy to sit there during the summer so pack in to the community tables. The serve artisan hand tossed pizzas that have really nice flavor to it. You can start off with a bunch of appetizers or salads and then get into the pizzas. The pizzas are personal size so usually a pizza is served for one person. I got to try the Salsiccia and the pepperoni pizzas. They come out quick since they are thin and cooked in high temperature! I loved the sausage (salsiccia) as it comes with basil which adds a nice aroma to it. Good, high quality pizzas served here. Service was good too as everyone helps eachother and are attentive.

Rebecca N.

Yelp
Such a cute little spot! Pizza was standard Neopolitan style. Ceasar salad was excellent. My favorite thing about this place was the large selection of imported wines. Outside patio was lovely as well. Nice ambiance & great service. Definitely will come back.

Elena L.

Yelp
Centro is a fabulous restaurant!!! The pizza is great, and the service is fabulous. I've been 3 times now and wanting to try the families own wine but they've been out all three times now. Excited for my next trip and will hopefully be able to try their own wines

Corina G.

Yelp
Centro is the new UVA bar! Cece took care of us and made us feel like we were at home. A perfect place to go to take a much needed break from a day at Disney! We will be back!

Jeff M.

Yelp
I loved the food and atmosphere here. We went on a weekday and enjoyed the lunch specials. It was salad and half pizza. We ordered pizzas with meat on them (I can't recall the name). We were most certainly satisfied. The variety of pizzas is great and arrived at our tables in a timely manner. The crust was divine. We sat in the back patio. It felt as though we were at a winery. There are flowers and grapevines growing in the back. I can't wait to come back and try more pizzas.

Tejal K.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years now and it's literally my favorite pizza place! The quality is always consistent and delicious. The have a great selection of wines and pizzas. I always recommend this place to friends when they're in the OC area! I love that it's family owned, so you get greeted with a familiar face every time you go. I always get the vegetarian pizza even though I eat meat. It's sooo good. I love that they top it off with fresh arugula. Helps me get my greens in lol My bf always orders the salami - it's delicious as well. It's a really great date night spot because of the intimate setting. Or if you're looking to catch up with friends over wine or even just watch a game as they have tvs inside. I've tried many pizza places, but nothing has been able to beat the quality, service and value at CENTRO!

Carmen M.

Yelp
This quaint neighborhood place is a go-to when I'm in the mood for some decent italian. Pasta is good but sometimes a little too al dente for me. Good wine and service. There's a combo coffee/Gelato cafe next door to sit and enjoy or sit outside in the patio. If you go down a couple doors you'll find their sister restaurant serving up tasty brick oven pizza.

Lauren C.

Yelp
This place was super crowded on a Friday night. We ultimately decided to leave and dine somewhere else. We did come back a week later but we placed a phone order for pick up instead of dining in. I'm not sure if I was just expecting more but I was disappointed with my pizza. I was hoping for a delicious and yummy pie but the pizza just lacked flavor. Maybe it was an off night but it was bland and as if they forgot to season every single ingredient. I do want to come back to try another pizza, perhaps maybe I'll dine in for this experience but I was not wowed the first time around.

Bhumika S.

Yelp
My parents are vegetarian + no egg and this restaurant was so accommodating with vegetarian options for us. We got their vegetariana pizza and an eggplant pizza which they both liked. Personally, the food tasted like there was something missing (not sure if it was a little bit of spice or what), but not bad overall. There was good music playing and some exposed brick so my parents loved the vibes (mission accomplished! I managed to find something that checked all of their boxes). Calzone was huge but pretty good :)

Yelp
wow. just treated absolutely horribly at one of our favorite restaurants. we were two people tonight. there was a 40 minute wait list. we were paying our dues standing outside waiting to be seated and things were moving along a little quicker than quoted, but when it looked like it was our turn they seated a group of three where two had just gotten up. the group of three had just signed in - and had their seats within about 5 minutes after they joined the list and 20 minutes after we joined the list. another twenty minutes later looking in from the sidewalk i go in to inquire about when we would get seated and why the party of three jumped before us, and we were told they have to seat larger parties where they can fit them when they can, which is why the group of three were seated before us even though they signed in for a table long after we signed in. i called it out how uncool it is that they think it's okay for a party of three to jump a party of two like that, and they couldn't have cared less. i explained that we have a long history supporting their business and that we didn't like how we were treated and that we were leaving to never come back and her response was 'okay.'. she is one of the owners. terrible. they know us too - we are regulars. which makes this experience so upsetting. years of goodwill going both ways can be ruined in minutes. and that is what they chose to do. their strategy to maximize checks will waste the time of their clients and that will not work well for them when it turns away people who have supported them for years. hope that one extra check that made the party of three more important to seat than the party of two and the callous 'who cares' attitude when called out was worth losing an entire family of loyal customers who have been with you for years and years.

Kate T.

Yelp
The pizzas and salads are all delicious! We have a great time every time we come here. They do need to work on their carry out system and I will update my review if this changes. I can never order the day of but have to place my order a day in advance. Personally if I'm ordering pizza, I don't think of it until the day of. If you call the restaurant, they will answer but leave you on hold until you hang up.

Valerie F.

Yelp
Pizza + Salad + Wine and Beer = A perfect evening with friends. How have we missed this place until just a few weeks ago. Shop and dine local!!!!!!

BigEd R.

Yelp
Artisan, rustic, authentic, are a few words that come to mind after my outing to Centro. You have some patio seating in the back entrance for Al Fresco dining and a small dining room on the inside. On the inside, you have the option to sit on a shareable high-top table or there's a couple 2 seaters if you get lucky. Was hoping to try their house beer but they were tapped out. In addition, the wait for the pizza was a bit too long (and I was patient). Other than these hic-ups, we loved our lunch date here. Pizza was made in their wood fired oven. It was thin, light, and the ingredients tasted of good quality. We opted for the lunch special which consisted of half a pizza and a house salad (mixed greens/balsamic dressing). Cost for this lunch special was $12 bucks a pop and it was proportionate for 1 person. If you're a good eater, you may not be completely satisfied. Their house beers were $7 bucks a pop but since they were out, we had a couple of their guest beers (hazy's and hef's) @ 9 bucks a pop. Extra notes: - My female server and the gentleman assisting were pleasant to talk to. - Parking was easy in the back lot. - They do offer a weekday Happy Hour but it would be nice to include weekends. Try them out!

Arce E.

Yelp
Service great! Food delicious! Wine yummy!! Great spot in downtown Tustin. We came at 1pm on Sunday and it got busy shortly after we sat down. Perfect timing!

Rosana M.

Yelp
Was amazing. Low key .. very cozy , the salads are delicious as well the fresh baked Napolitana pizza the beers are great . The service perfect . We have being there few times , just found by accident. Is great ! Don't forget the dessert and a great wine , you can also seat outside .

Valerie T.

Yelp
Whoever was making the pizza and calzone was the best yet! The prices are very reasonable. The owner served us and I don't know how she does it because she's always present and you can tell she really cares about this place. The ambiance is very warm and cozy and the food and the ambiance are the two biggest pluses of this place.

Alan S.

Yelp
If you enjoy thin crust Neapolitan-style pizza as much as I do, then Centro is a must try! I dare say it's one of my most favorite pizza joints in the entire OC. Located off of Main Street in Old Town Tustin, it also sits adjacent to its sister restaurant - Centro Storico. At one point in time, Centro was a hidden gem but word has def gotten out so you can expect the restaurant to be busy. Their space isn't all that big, so I'd recommend arriving early or you might have to wait. Centro is a family-run business that also produces their own wines from their vineyard in Paso Robles and brews their own craft beer on-site. The family has a passion for good Italian food, wine and beer and this passion shows through in everything they offer and make. You can't go wrong in choosing a Pizze off their menu. I've personally tried the Salsiccia and the Funghi (pictured in this review) and both were squisito! If you fancy an adult beverage with your meal, I'd also recommend sampling a glass of beer or wine because everything that comes out of their kitchen is delizioso and spettacolare!

Caitlin V.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Centro every since I tried Storico months ago, which I love and have come back many, many times. However, every time I wanted to come here, it happens to be a Monday, which is their only day when it is closed. I finally got to eat here tonight for dinner with my family. 1. Pizza Funghi - 9/10 - I got the large and it was cut in four pieces. It's more like a personal pizza than what you would think a large would be. Nevertheless, my pizza was delicious. It had Italian tomatoes, mushrooms, Italian cotto ham, and fresh mozzarella cheese. 2. Pizza Calzone - I couldn't rank this because I didn't try it, but my husband said that it was good. 3. Bambini Pizza Formaggio - 8/10 - My 18-month old enjoyed it and almost ate an entire piece by herself. 4. Bomba - 10/10 - A must try. It was Italian gelato in a chocolate shell. I mean, you had me at Italian gelato, but having it in a chocolate shell was the cherry on top. I'll definitely be adding this to the rotation of restaurants we go to again.

Michael W.

Yelp
What a great little spot! We have a friend who goes there regularly and we got a bunch of his friends to go there and invite him to a surprise birthday celebration. I was very impressed by the quality and taste of the wood fired oven pizza they serve there and the bruschetta was probably the best I've ever had! I paired it all with a glass of their Pinot Noir, from their own winery, which was delicious! I also found out they are going to open another location in Old Towne Orange (closer to where I live) with an expanded menu to include pasta dishes! I am really excited about that! we will be regulars there for sure, when they open!

Javier R.

Yelp
Best pizza around , I had the Melanzane, the eggplant taste mixed with basil was sweet and delicious, garlic wasn't over powering, even the crust was good. The ambiance is great along with the music selection. Customer service was genuine, and servers made sure we always had water

Christina G.

Yelp
Pizza is delicious!! That's spicy chili oil they provided was so so good! Family friendly environment and good service.

Christina K.

Yelp
Wine Sampler: The wine sampler was so nice! Our server chooses what wine goes in the sampler. 2 reds and 2 whites. Loved the presentation of this and the price was really good as well! Total of 4 small glasses of the server's choice. Wine Taster: The glasses were a little bigger and we had the luxury of choosing our own wine for the wine taster. Total of 3 glasses of your choice. Formaggio: A board filled with cheese, bread, grapes, fig jam, and olives. There's 2 sizes you can choose from and we chose the smaller one. Was really delicious! Scamorza Pizza: THE STAR OF THE SHOW! Or well, personally my favorite dish of the night. You have a choice of Pancetta meat or Speck Meat. I was initially interested because of pancetta but our server recommended we get Speck. I'm so glad we did because the Speck meat was absolutely delicious and had a perfect texture. It added some crisp like thin bacon and had a nice flavor profile. Pancetta would've been much softer so for texture, speck was a winner. The pizza also came with a side of chili oil which also went super well with this pizza. This pizza was also very thin so if you like pizza thin, this one is perfect.

Robert G.

Yelp
This is the best pizza I've had in Orange County, authentic Neapolitan is my favorite and they crush it here. Love the service and the staff, always in a great mood. My wife and I always say it feels like Italy when we sit on the back patio then go get gelato next door. Their sister restaurant is also amazing.

Diana G.

Yelp
First time coming here. It was surprisingly good. Ordered a wine flight and a beer flight. I liked the beer flight more than the wine flight, but that's my personal opinion. The service was a little slow to begin but it's understandable since we got there when it first opened. This place seemed a little crammed if you ask me. Definitely not enough room if you order a lot of food so definitely be mindful of that. Overall there was nice atmosphere. You can see the guy hand tossing the pizza dough up in the air towards the back. I tried their hummus as an appetizer and it was really good. I had a pepperoni pizza as well and honestly the pizza looked like the kind of pizza that could use some really good ranch on it (since I'm a ranch type of person) but it was quite tasty without it. I do recommend it.

Gregory G.

Yelp
The pizza here is fantastic imho - 5 stars, but ordering takeout is hit or miss. Just now I called in to place a takeout order and the person answering the phone tells me that they are not accepting takeout orders because their ordering system is down. So I reply that's fine I'm just across the street I'll come in and place my order in person. He replies we're just really busy and not taking takeout orders right now. So to summarize: The person who answered the phone is a liar. Their ordering system is fine. They just don't want my business. Eating in the restaurant or getting takeout is all the same thing: You're making pizzas for hungry people and apparently I am buying my pizza elsewhere now.

Iberia T.

Yelp
This is a very good place for us delicious small restaurants but great service and very flavorful food. Celebrated a birthday for our daughter good wine and the ice cream dessert was great.

Jessica K.

Yelp
This pizzeria fails to disappoint. Been here so far 5 times. You can taste the freshness and quality of ingredients. The pizza dough is superb! Great salads and selection of drinks. Prices are not too bad as well.

Jeffrey S.

Yelp
Best pizza in the OC The Misto (cheese and meats board) is excellent Salame Pizza Love this place Perfect date on patio

Jen C.

Yelp
My friend brought me here. It's her favorite place for pizza. I like my pizza thick so I got a panini instead. It was huge and so good! I got the turkey pesto panini. The only thing that could make it better would be serving it with chips! The garbanzo bean salad was just ok. Needed more seasoning and/or dressing. I love garbanzo beans but I'd pass on this salad next time.

Janelle D.

Yelp
Probably the best NY style pizza in Orange County! If you come during lunch hour (thursday through Sunday 11-3 I believe) you can get the half pizza and half salad deal for $12 which is such a steal for the quality! I got the lunch deal with margherita pizza and paired it with their rotating amber ale which was equally AMAZING. Great food. Great deals. Speedy service. I can't wait to come back to try their (made in house) beer and wine flights. Definitely a somewhat hidden gem in historic Tustin.

Shivani P.

Yelp
Yummmyyyy! Everything tastes great! Love the pesto and arrabiata pasta dishes. The gelato is also great. It does get noisy due to the size of the space.

Adrian V.

Yelp
I mean its alright I guesss, the cesar salad is made with a dressing that is thicc like mayonaise the crutons are too big to poke or put on your fork, the salame pizza is aight the dough is aight, ill come back maybe

Tracyhong X.

Yelp
I had a disappointing experience due to an inattentive and unfriendly Asian server. They took too long to take our order, served cold food, and seemed annoyed by our questions. This poor service really impacted our visit negatively.

Yelp
Hi Everyone happy Sunday had the chance to check out @centrotustin in #tustin and checked out this small hole in the wall brewery and pizza joint. Really chill and laid back to just come a have a drink and share a pizza. Had the flight of beer and flight of wine yum . The pizza was off the hook with the great taste of tomatoes and huge slices of pepperoni. The staff are really nice and fast with your food. Come visit them if you are in the area. #pizza #tustin #foodie #blog #eats #eddie #wine #brewery #flight #chill #pepperoni
