"Rare, pricey-but-worth-it vintage is what comes to mind when we think of Century Girl. Jewelry from the eighteenth century, exquisite cocktail attire, and precious trinkets fill the store. It can get expensive in here, but the cost reflects the quality and careful curation behind each piece. There are no duds here. "

Customer service is amazing! All of the pieces are beautiful and unique, and I would highly recommend stopping by if you’re ever in New Orleans

Google
This place is beyond words. Very special and stunning vintage designer pieces with fair prices. Very warm and welcoming owner who puts an incredible effort to source these gorgeous pieces. I’ve been to many vintage stores in the US and in Europe, this one is hands down the most exciting store I’ve been to. Must must must.

This little gem of a store is completely magical! I found my wedding purse, an ostrich feather shawl and multiple gifts for my family. Love visiting them whenever I'm in Nola.

Daniela

Google
Stunning high end vintage store. I could not believe the pieces they had. Very well curated and displayed.

Summer Liu

Google
Stunning and well-curated high-end designer vintage store, even to the NYC standard from a vintage-lover’s eyes. Though the pieces are mostly $300 higher for dresses and may seem high, actually very fair for their rareness and condition in the vintage designer market. If you are shopping for special pieces, this store is a must-check. Also the store interior design is beautiful and fun! Not even mention that Bethany is beautiful and very helpful and knowledgeable on the pieces. LOVE LOVE the store.

Google
Amazing vintage store! Spectacular curated treasures from the Victorian era up to the modern day. Thanks so much to Victoria for her help finding a beautiful coral party dress that I am absolutely in love with! A must-visit when you're in New Orleans.

Yelp
Fairytale shop come to life! The sweet shopkeeper, Vincent, was friendly greeting us. The shop is full of costume jewelry, vintage costumes, and shoes. My favorite is the display only 1890s House of Worth gown in the back.

Yelp
This is just a MUST STOP every time I'm in New Orleans! Such a special little boutique with the most exquisite choices - my daughter falls in love here (21) and my mother has too! (82) And there's something new to see every single visit

Yelp
Walking along Magazine Street, the most magnificent window will catch your eye... a mannequin dressed in vintage couture looking clothes, and antique hand mirrors hanging from the ceiling, all at different lengths. What a lovely gem this vintage boutique is... so many vintage stores are edgy or gaudy, but not this one. Century Girl is as elegant, classy, and timeless as can be. Filled with extravagant costume jewelry, or sparkly jaguar earrings, and even some fine jewelry (I loved a snake ring they had). Their bags are funky yet stylish, and the clothes.... holy moly. I'm not even a fur person but I was gushing over the fur coats. If you ever need a dress to wear to a wedding or a Gatsy party, this is your place. My friend pointed out this crown ring to me, and I just had to make it mine. It's such a statement piece and you bet I'll be rocking it on a daily basis. One of the things I loved too about this shop was how kind the 2 women were working there, and also the displays, visual merchandising, and lighting choices were gorgeous. IT's a very beautiful store and was DEF one of my fave shops. If you love beautiful clothing and unique off the cuff jewelry, then make sure you stop here!

Yelp
Ding, dong--champagne please!! If you're looking to be transported back to vintage romance, look no further than this SUPER chic vintage store on Magazine street in NOLA. My girlfriends and I did a mini bachelorette trip for me in Nola and knew that we HAD to make it a point to visit Magazine Street. Finding Century Girl and soon after, following the shop on insta/social media was the hit of the day. We had so much fun taking photos with all of the lovely items in the store, pressing the champagne button, and actually shopping! One of my girlfriends came away with the most precious black and white vintage pea coat. One of my fav things about this place is that everything they sell is certified vintage and has been beautifully restored to be usable. I love keeping up with them on insta still and will always be back every time I find myself on Magazine Street.

Yelp
Best vintage store in New Orleans! I collect vintage hats and Leah always has something to tempt me to add to my collection. Century Girl is a finely curated shop that has the most wonderful items. You're sure to find something you can't live without here.

Yelp
This vintage shop feels like you've walked into a 1920s dream. You can tell that every single piece here has been chosen with great care. There is everything from clothing, jewelry, head pieces, bags, and even ball gowns. I found a clutch that I loved but didn't buy while I was in store. I messaged the store on Instagram and they arranged to ship it to me. I truly wish I lived near this store so I could visit it all the time. Century Girl Vintage is a must for vintage lovers and non-vintage lovers alike.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this gem of a shop in late March and will never forget it! My (now) husband and I had just secured our marriage license. We decided a celebratory coffee was in order, so we headed over to Magazine Street. We parked in front of Century Girl. While I paid for parking, he wandered in. He quickly came out and told me, "You have to go in here!" The ambiance of the shop was delightful. Everywhere you looked there were beautiful dresses, head pieces and jewelry. My coterie quickly encouraged me to try on a 70's era Studio 54 inspired gown that we found in the wedding area. So long polka dot blue dress!! Everyone assured me that this was the dress, and as I looked at it, I knew it truly was! My mother-in-law spied this gorgeous handmade wax crown that complimented the gown beautifully. Right then my husband-to-be asked me to try a ring on. He slipped on a gorgeous wedding band with 11 beautiful diamonds that somehow miraculously matched beautifully with my engagement ring! This was all in the span of 40 minutes! I never knew what I was missing, but this little shop helped me figure it out right quick!!! I felt so beautiful wearing my dress, crown and ring from Century Girl. I look at my ring everyday and am so grateful for the kismet that life had in store that day that brought me to this wonderful shop! Thank you Century Girl!

Yelp
This shop is absolutely beautiful. If you're looking for a special gift for yourself or another vintage lover, Century Girl can't be beat. The service is so lovely as well! I'll be keeping my eye on their Instagram for anything I can't go without - they do ship!

Yelp
Our favorite source for well curated vintage in perfect condition. Leah is a sweet confection whose vast knowledge of vintage fashion means she knows how to source and recommend the best statement pieces for your wardrobe. The interiors are bright and beautifully appointed and the displays are a work of art. Transport yourself to a magical works every time you visit!

Yelp
If you're a true vintage junkie, this is the place for you. Century Girl is a store filled with carefully crafted vintage clothing hand-selected by the owner. The store itself is like walking into a pastel and rhinestone paradise. I stopped in here with a friend and we had fun glancing through the wares and trying on some of the hats for sale. These clothes aren't "vintage" in the sense that the clothing was popular in the early 1990s. Century Girl specializes in clothing from the 20s-70s. I spotted several vintage Chanel pieces, and more! They also have a beautiful selection of kimonos and satin dress robes perfect for reliving your best "Pillow Talk" fantasy. For truly unique and exquisite vintage pieces, the prices are extremely reasonable and the owner was even willing to give my friend a discount for a brooch she was wanting.

Yelp
Century Girl is a store that brings vintage to the next level. Not only will you find clothing from the 40's and 50's, but I think this is one of the few spots in town where you will find dresses from the 20's and 30's. The clothing here has been so well preserved and cared for and the love really shows. Everything in the store is organized nearly on racks and everything is really easy to find. I really like that they have frilly Easter egg colored 50's prom dresses here- I feel like they are perfect for anyone dressing for a special occasion with the desire to be a little different. They also carry vintage jewelry and brooches, so that you can complete your look. I was able to find a beautiful brooch that I can't wait to wear with my next ensemble. This shop is a real treasure to the New Orleans vintage scene. You are sure to find something here that suits you.

Yelp
This might be my favorite vintage store in America. They have an exquisite collection of rare pieces in a lovely, easy-to-browse space. Alongside the gorgeous clothes, hats and jewelry, the service here really sets the store apart. They are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, without being pushy or snobby. They even managed a group of very drunk shoppers with elegance and grace. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a shopping experience more. And they shipped the two gowns I bought back to LA for me. When the elaborate dresses arrived in a small box, they weren't even wrinkled! I was so happy they made it safely home. Obviously LA has excellent vintage, but Century Girl is truly exceptional.

Yelp
At first I loved this store until I realized everything is overpriced by at least 300%.... if your looking for great vintage for these prices, try Manhattan, LA or downtown French Quarter vintage finds. Don't waste your money here. Owner doesn't know much about the product or value of the products she is selling. After trying to purchase some vintage chanel earrings and ready to. She realized they were worth more and soon they were gone. I've tried to buy things multiple times but they all fall through. I will never shop here or recommend it. The Better Business Bureau will be getting a call today. Ciao!

Robin K.

Yelp
I am in LOVE with this shop. Specially curated items that are so chic and high fashion and repurposed. Run don't walk!!! New merchandise every week. My absolute new favorite NOLA boutique.

Yelp
I have been living in New Orleans for the year and heard about Century Girl even before I arrived. It's reputation got me quite excited to visit- and I have to say, even with all the hype, it lived up to my expectations! The pieces are unique and beautiful, many one-of-a-kind, and all pretty reasonable in terms of price. There are unworn designer items for fractions of their original tagged prices, but also many antique and vintage items. There are many fancier items that I (and I'm guessing many others) wouldn't have an occasion to purchase- but if I were going to be in a wedding or was looking for a formal gown, I would come here first without a doubt. Why buy a formal gown from a department store when you can save money, and wear something one of a kind with an interesting history behind it? I didn't go in expecting to purchase anything, but I spotted a really cute "mushroom beret" navy wool hat with buttons and gold studs. I tried it on and lo and behold- it looked good on! I left but couldn't stop thinking about it so I ran back and bought it before the store closed. The wool is thick and bendable so it holds whatever shape you mold it into- feels very sturdy and good quality. The band is also finished with a thick ribbon material that looks nice. The woman working the shop was super friendly. This store is a do not miss!

Yelp
I love it here! Century Girl is a vintage boutique primarily specializing in clothing and jewelry. There are pieces of history in this shop! Century Girl (Leah) shares space with Bambi Deville. She finds local pieces that tell the story of New Orleans. The shop currently has a rhinestone bra that belonged to a recently deceased burlesque dancer as well as Zandra Rhodes tops that belonged to Mickey Easterling. (She was a New Orleans socialite who recently passed away and had a funeral where she was embalmed sitting up with a glass of champagne in one hand and a cigarette in another --a New Orleans legend). There are furs, dresses, earrings, hats, shoes, everything. It's amazing!
google avatar

Marianna W.

Yelp
Oh, my stars!! What a special shop full of treasures, vintage and reproduction. Leah has a great eye for quality and curates this collection of wearable art featuring furs, hats, jewelry, a bit of bridal, some haute couture (like the D&G silk chiffon cape covered in roses i fell in love with), handbags and more. If you love vintage, bring your style and your credit card!

Annabelle Z.

Yelp
I have been a collector and wearer of vintage clothing for many years, and always appreciate the curated experience a well-designed vintage shop holds. Century Girl is all of that, and more. Her eye for designing a beautiful space is obvious, as well as her clear point-of-view buying unique and well-made pieces for her boutique. The staff is delightful, and this is a definite must-see when you're shopping on Magazine Street!
google avatar

Kiki A.

Yelp
One of the best vintage clothing shops I have ever been in. Leah, the owner, has a eye for beautiful and unique pieces that are reasonably priced and in great condition. Great customer service as well. I'll definitely be a loyal customer:)

Monique A.

Yelp
Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful! Glamorous. Casual. High-end. Accessible. Unique finds for many occasions. A selective array of distinguished pieces adorn this boutique that makes you feel like you've just walked through a couple centuries of style. Wait- you did. Charming staff and wonderful styling. A must-see, vintage and designer pieces galore. Enjoy being a Century Girl!

Yelp
Beautiful store with unique items. The longer we stayed the more we saw and bought and tried on. Still dreaming of the gorgeous white tiered robe. FELLOW COSTUME DESIGNERS, they area very film friendly.

Yelp
This is THE BEST vintage shop in New Orleans. They always have the cutest clothing, jewelry, and accessories!

Yelp
Such a lovely shop and so welcoming. I really enjoyed finding my little treasure to take home a bit of glamour. Very much enjoyed my experience.

Yelp
Oh my. Lovely. Elegant. Divine. Feels like you are stepping into the closet of your favorite starlet! Shop owner is personable and warm and eager to assist :)

Yelp
Walking into Leah's store instantly transports you into another time period. Her gorgeously curated garments, beautifully displayed jewelry and vintage soundtrack let you step back in time. I go to every vintage store possible both when at home and traveling abroad and I've never seen anything like her selection. Leah couldn't be sweeter and more helpful and is so knowledgeable about each piece. Her passion shines through in this MUST SEE vintage store in New Orleans.
google avatar

Gretchen B.

Yelp
Century Girl is the most beautifully curated vintage shop I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The shop feels like you're in the private closet of a movie star or Marie Antoinette! Leah and her staff are always friendly and helpful, and you may spy a famous face or two while you're in the shop! This shop is a must see if you're in New Orleans.
google avatar

Rebecca T.

Yelp
I love this shop! I enjoy the 20's fashions, & this shop offers a small, but very elegantly selection, appropriate for a special evening out, or even for the boudoir.
google avatar

Abby B.

Yelp
I've shopped for vintage all over the world and Leah has the most beautiful store I've ever seen. Equal parts museum and fantasy closet, Leah has cultivated a gala of remarkable dress, jewelry and accessories for the vintage obsessed lady. What's really remarkable is she carries fashion dating back to the 1800s and everything is in amazing condition. Don't think you'll fit into the tiny clothes? No problem she carries sizes from 0-12! I was so impressed and now I'm a lifetime loyal customer. I have to stay away or else I'd buy the whole store!
google avatar

Bree J.

Yelp
This place is amazing. It's perfectly curated, with great prices. They have higher end pieces, but definitely worth it. For example I saw a beautiful Alexander McQueen 90s blouse, with its $1400 tag still attached for under $200. Items are on the dressier side, but it just made me wish I went to more events to dress up. The beautiful pieces she had a great mix of decades too! They had 1920s-1970s mostly. I will definitely be going back the next time I'm in New Orleans! (I even followed them on Instagram in hopes of catching some items on there in the meantime).
google avatar

Loren O.

Yelp
Very cute shop with a lovely owner and adorable little dog. (There is a tiny dog so be prepared if you have allergies. Personally the puppy was a huge bonus for me, but I understand some people might have issues.) Leah had lots of amazing vintage things and her store was so much fun to explore. She was very accommodating and we felt so welcome there. We'd definitely go again!
google avatar

Kate F.

Yelp
Absolutely stunning jewel of a vintage store! You can peruse the racks and uncover vintage gems from storied fashion houses of past and present, not to mention the lux collection of embroidered silk kimonos in a swirling pastel rainbow of colors: you know, the stuff dreams are made of. There's plenty of whimsical accessories to dazzle and delight as well. The atmosphere is light, bright, curated and friendly; the shop owner and shop girls are all absolute delights. A must stop for serious lovers/collectors of fashion and fashion history!
google avatar

Naomi W.

Yelp
I went to this store because it was recommended to me by the girl working at Box Paper Scissors (a stationary store). I've never been to a vintage clothing store before I thought they meant like 90s or early 2000s clothes but when I went inside, I realized it was all stuff ranging from the 1920s to the 1960s. Their clothes are a little more expensive but are super nice quality. They had a lot of interesting jewelry and I ended up getting a brooch. The girl was super nice and I hope to go back to get more unique jewelry.

Estefani L.

Yelp
If you need a good vintage piece this is the place to go! My husband bought me a vintage reworked Chanel button ring. It has been a couple of months and it's still in perfect condition. I love reworked vintage pieces! Leah was amazing and received great customer service and the detail on the packaging was amazing.
google avatar

Dana S.

Yelp
This store is an absolutely treasure. The pieces curated within reflect the impeccable aesthetics of it's owner, Leah.
google avatar

Gwendolyn M.

Yelp
Leah has the most incredible taste and her beautiful shop proves it. She has high standards for quality and customer service, making time spent at Century Girl a true luxury. She has a wealth of knowledge and stories about both the designers and the garments, and makes it a priority to give people an opportunity to share a second (or third or tenth) life with each piece!
google avatar

Sarah E.

Yelp
This store is absolutely beautiful. I've never really been in a nice vintage store before so I was really pleased. The owner was really sweet and helpful. The clothing was wonderfully preserved and I liked that each tag had dates and information about the piece. I wish that I could get all of the pretties in her store. Definitely go check it out.
google avatar

Aubrey H.

Yelp
I've seen very few other vintage stores curated to such absolute perfection. Everything in the shop was brand specific to the Jane Mansfield Barbie doll every vintage enthusiast dreams of being. Not only was the selection beautiful but Leah Blake, the shop keep and owner was a peach to talk to. I'm glad I stopped in, and I look forward to shopping off of her instagram, @centurygirlvintage
google avatar

Shawna E.

Yelp
Beautiful shop impeccably well-curated. Every item is unique and in exceptional condition. Love my hat from the '40s.

Briana H.

Yelp
Leah was so helpful in her boutique! It's ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE, from her Instagram to every corner of her store, it'll just make you feel like a princess! Her customer service was so great and I can't wait to return!!

Katherine W.

Yelp
Saw this store on social media (YouTube). I was so excited to come in and walked into such a beautiful inviting place with such sweet workers. I was then very disappointed with the extremely unreasonable pricing of the clothing, accessories, and specifically, jewelry. My friend and I bought matching Chanel button rings for my 18th birthday for $120 after tax and by the first day of wear my very expensive ring was falling apart and turning our fingers green. The button was just glued onto a cheap post of a ring and I was so extremely disappointed in that. The shop seemed so beautiful but I was very sad about the rings. The sales associate was so sweet to refund us our rings and I wish I remembered her name because she was an angel and made the experience way less painless than it could have been. It is a beautiful store but the quality was very disappointing:(
google avatar

Natalie W.

Yelp
As a vintage fashion nerd, my radar went off the charts walking into Century Girl. To see such exquisite pieces in such perfect condition is indeed a rare treat. The prices are fair and reflect the value of each piece accurately. That's hard to find in a vintage shop as beautiful as this! Every detail has been carefully considered with love and dedication. Customer Service was perfectly en pointe and effortless. Truly a Gem of a shop--a destination in itself!

Fernando P.

Yelp
Stunning collection, the real deal, no junk here . If you are serious about high end vintage dresses visit this lovely shop you won't regret it !

Laurel C.

Yelp
I came into Century Girl for a book event they were hosting and bought a great vintage brooch for my mom's birthday, a gorgeous and strange snake necklace for myself, plus a miniature by L. Delaney. Leah is incredibly nice and helpful, and the shop is just a beautiful space to browse... and maybe buy! I will be back.

Ayla F.

Yelp
My favorite vintage shop in New Orleans. Anytime I am on Magazine Street I have to stop to see what lovely treasures Leah has found in her travels. My favorite piece from there is a designer reproduction flapper dress that I wore for New Years Eve. I received so many compliments on its beauty. I have also found several fine jewelry pieces there, my now husband even bought my engagement ring from Leah!!

Betty D.

Yelp
This is a gem. My daughter found some pieces. I jus wish they had more for my size and age range. Worth a visit.
google avatar

Sara L.

Yelp
This place is a temple of gowns, tops, coats, and lingerie from the 1920's-1960's. In over a decade of working in vint have I can honestly say this is one of the best citations I've seen. Head up to the second floor balcony to find this delightful shop. Everything is in exquisite condition and very original and unique pieces. There are also hats, purses, and a fair amount of estate jewelry to drool over. The shop owner is a devotee to restoration and preservation and she's super nice to boot :)

Sandy G.

Yelp
I was lucky enough to visit Century Girl on a recent trip to N'Awlins. The inventory is top-notch, lots of variety, and I felt like I had stepped into the closet of a Hollywood celebrity. Lots of glamorous pieces, beautifully displayed. Very friendly and helpful staff. I know I will make it a point to check out Century Girl the next time I'm in New Orleans!!

Yelp
Beautiful vintage pieces. Nice neat little shop, friendly service. Pricey but quality goods, you are getting what you pay for.
