My family and I have been looking for a decent pizza place in our area for a while now. This is about 40 minutes from us and soooo worth the trip. Everyone from my husband to my toddlers loved this pizza!! Definitely will return.

This is our go-to spot for pizza in Havertown. We've tried a lot of places in the area and Cenzos is by far our favorite for a traditional style pizza. The price is also very reasonable for a cheese pie, around $15-16. Try this place, you won't regret it

Family favorite. I don’t live in havertown anymore so it’s a must have when I’m home! Pizza, cheesesteaks, hoagies, and herrs chip collection are always on point. Owners are awesome (pretty sure they are the same as 20 years ago). Fries and onion rings are always yummy Pictures are from a big order we had over thanksgiving 2021 weekend for a kids birthday party. Plating was done manually, delivery packaging was standard - hoagies, cheesesteaks individually wrapped. Fries are sent in a bag unless they are cheese fries, which come in the aluminum tin

Had a great experience. Just dropped in for a couple of slices for a late lunch. Gentleman who waited on me was very friendly, pizza was great! Can’t ask for more.

Their food is really good. I went there after work once last week (my workplace is just two doors down from them) and called them for delivery twice in the last week. Their prices are pretty competitive, I think, in comparison to other places. They used to be dine in, which I do miss having as an option (there's one table with 3 chairs, I think, but I wouldn't want to bet that people could really eat their food there).

Discovered Cenzos pizza when a friend had at their party. It’s delicious! What I liked about this pizza was it was not greasy. Very fresh and staff was nice.

This is my favorite pizza shop in delco! Their pepperoni pizza never disappoints and their buffalo chicken pizza is our second favorite. My family doesn't mind waiting the long pick up times just for this pizza!

This is where we usually order Pizza from. I have tried all of them in Havertown at this point and Cenzos is our favorite based off pizza quality alone. It's a NY style which is what I prefer to the Greek style at Havertown Pizza down the road. They unfortunately have not had inside seating ever since Covid so this is take out only. The price is reasonable. They have a huge menu with hoagies, cheesesteaks, salads etc. But, we only ever get the pizza which is great.

I have been going to Cenzos since I was in High School, but, today, they got it wrong! I ordered a Chocken Ceasar wrap with no dressing, it came dripping with dressing, and also had onions. Since when are onions part of a chicken caesar wrap? I am disappointed.

We ordered for 6:20 and they arrived at 7:00 although that happened the food was very good and warm definitely recommend, but do pick up

We ordered a couple of cheesesteaks which is not what they are known for. We were pleasantly surprised how well they were prepared and tasted, plus how fast the food was prepared. Definitely going to be are go to cheesesteak place.

Good pizza, a bit salty, but still pretty good. Make sure to order well ahead of time on Fridays. You will have to wait at least an hour. That's how good this place is.

Cenzo's is the best,,most consistent pizza in Havertown. The pies are thinner crust, and when given time to fully cook,are crunchy and at their peak. The sauce is NOT sweet, thankfully, and is bright and flavorful. The cheese does not pool oil like those that use cheap cheese. On weekends and durin Friday Lent order really early! This is an old school, store front pizzeria that is more row home than strip mall. Right out of a movie set, front window with advertisements for team car washes, pre made pizza boxes stacked, kids working the counter, molded booths with 8 middle school kids packed in......

Solid, local pizza joint in Havertown. The Sicilian upside down was tasty. Looking forward to trying their other varieties.

I love this pizza spot. All the classics you can want from your local shop are available at a really great price point. Service is prompt and accurate, the shop is close to the center of Havertown and the interior is simple yet clean and modern. I highly recommend the barbecue wings!

Food: 4 Out of 5 I've been told this place is the go to for Sicilian style pizza. My partner's family orders from here religiously, I've had this place at least five times already. My thoughts? Pretty darn good. Their crust is superior and can hold all that sauce and the toppings. Personally this style of pizza isn't as great the day after, crust becomes more glutenous. Obviously pizza is it's best form when fresh and piping hot. They always order two large Sicilian styles, one plain cheese and the other pepperoni and mushroom. Environment: N/A COVID-19 still around so take out only. Service: 5 Out of 5 Friendly folks always serving us. Order ahead of time and they'll be ready in about 45 minutes Overall: 4.25 Out of 5 Simple ingredients done well, that's the mark of great place. Be aware I don't have another Sicilian style place to compare it to. With that said other Sicilians style places have some big shoes to fill, their pizza is top notch.

Solid place for a quick bite. Especially popular with students from the middle school and high school due to its location. Nothing fancy, but hits the spot! Would recommend

I give it a 5 for the upside-down pizza alone. It is perfect with some pepperoni! I ordered it once and never went back. I have never had anything like it. I cannot find it anywhere else. I moved away from Havertown and had to go back to get it multiple times. - It is a quintessential pizza place. No frills. Bunch of kids working the place (always have been well mannered when I have gone). - Go for the upside-down pizza if nothing else. You will go back! What they are not.... This is not a great place to sit down and eat unless you are a teenager.... Takeout. Love it. Go back.... That is my recommendation. Ugh my mouth is watering now....

Pizza wars in Havertown! By my count there are 16 combatants. Coupons are flying in every direction. Pizza spies are ordering the competitions pizza, and weighing and dissecting the ingredients to a degree you can't imagine. Treacherous delivery drivers are changing allegiances for substantial deposits in off-shore accounts. If these folks could order air strikes I believe they would do it! So who is going to win the Havertown Pizza wars? After living here for 18 years I believe it come down to three, 3 1/2 star operations. I've patronized all three many, many times. BTW; each of them gets four stars from me. * Cenzo's * Hoopty's * Paisano's You can't go wrong with any of them. As this is a Cenzo's update I'll focus on them. They are a venerable Havertown institution and are incredibly popular. The staff is always friendly. Most importantly the pies are never greasy. As many have said, their chicken cheesesteak is to die for. I'll be back again and again for sure. However, parking is a big deal for me. Hoopty's has a huge public lot right next door and a slightly better pie. Paisano's also has a private parking lot. Cenzo's is street parking that is often a pain in the butt. Cenzo's, I'll always love you but the other guys are kicking your butt a little on convenience!

Before I ordered I asked if they accepted credit card, they do not which is a major disappointment in 2014. Had to stop at a Wawa for an ATM before setting forth in your establishment. There pizza is just not good anymore and hasn't been in over 20 years. I remember growing up after school and going in for the after school special which was a slice and a drink for like $1.25. Maybe thats why I liked them so much. Their slices used to be thin and good. Now they are thicker and tasteless. Cenzo's maybe your name in Havertown is what has kept you going for so long, but i do not understand why. Maybe because they are so close to middle school and the High School they get a lot of after class business. There are so many better options within a couple of miles. Look on Yelp you will find a better pizza. Trust me!

The food here is great. It's really just a take out joint as there's no seating inside. I had a cheesesteak and it was really tasty. The staff was friendly and the food was ready when they said it would be. I'll be returning for sure.

2 nights in a row I ordered a calzone and got stromboli. I can't eat red sauce which is why I ordered a calzone. I let the mistake go Thursday but today I called to complain. I was told they had a new system. Well since the receipt said boli, that's not a system error it's a user error. And when I said this to the person on the phone, somebody in the background was mad that I was calling to complain. End result, we'll switch our weekly order of $50+ at another take out place. Yeah, I know my $50 is a drop in the bucket but I won't pay people to treat me like garbage.

This is a solid pizza all around. Pizza is life for me so I can be more critical with it than other foods. I ordered both the large Sicilian plan cheese and large pepperoni pizza when we had some friends over. I liked that the offer the Sicilian bc you don't see that often. It was a good change of pace. Overall the pizza was good. Had a nice crisp crust and soft dough. Would've liked more sauce on it, but that's just a personal preference. I know for next time to ask for it. They also always seemingly have coupons for a buck or two off which is never a bad thing. Overall, solid pizza that I will get again

Pizza was average. Tried a Sicilian margarita and regular pepperoni pizza- Sicilian was a thickener crust - bread like with a light crunch to the crust. Not enough sauce or basil. The pepperoni pizza was okay but would have preferred more sauce.

I need to add their cannoli and tiramisu are excellent. I can't tell if made in store, but so good you are better off buying here than at a local bakery. I have sampled both, for taste, texture and flavor they are above and beyond the local bakeries, perfect topper for your meal and superb price

My favorite pizza place in the whole world. I'm probably biased because it is the pizza from my childhood, but I swear I've never had better. Afraid I was romanticizing the pizza of my youth, I returned to the old stomping grounds to give it another try, and it was just as good as I remembered. It's classic thin crust, but not too hard, and with great oregano-based seasoning. Good pizza for the fold-and-eat move. Large is about $16 now. Make sure to load it up with Parmesan and pepper flakes. God, I wish I had some right now. I honestly think their plain pizza is so good on its own it doesn't need any toppings. Their white pizza is pretty good too. Located between the Haverford Middle School and High School, it is a popular hang out for kids in the afternoon. I used to loiter there myself, back when the after school combo was $1.75 for a soda and huge slice. Anyway, if you're ever in the area, the pizza can't be beat. Plenty of seating in the no-frills establishment. They also used to sell pretty good water ice in the summer.

This is easily the best pizza in Havertown PA (and that's saying something because there are about 1000 pizza places here...) The place is always busy and it's because it's delicious. Enjoy.

Solid Cheesesteak place, I've only gone here a few times now but each time has been well worth it. Never had the pizza but some local friends love it. One thing is clear, the best cheesesteak in Haverford/Ardmore area belongs to these guys. Bread is soft yet slightly crusty. The steak is cheesey and tender. Onions and peppers were cooked very well. Never had any issues with ordering, staff has been friendly. I only ever pick up the steaks, not sure if they deliver. Will update once I've had a chance to try some of the other fare!

Just wanted to add an update in this time of Covid. The employees have been great at wearing masks and dealing with the craziness these past few months. I know they've been incredibly busy but I've never had an order take more than about 20 minutes max. Quality is still the same as it was when I first posted a review 11 years ago. Cenzos continues to be the best in Havertown.

This review is long over due. My family and I have been going here for many years. Their Monday special on pizzas is the best around. Their food is always hot and fresh. Really good pizza!

I love the pizza here. It reminds me of the pizza I ate growing up in Jersey! When I found out they deliver I was stoked. I wish they were on Grubhub, but it's no big deal.

The pizza is generally very liked among my family but the French fries are screwed up every time we go there and usually have to go to another place to get fries. Otherwise their food isn't that bad. Delivery time usually 45-60 minute wait unless you pick it up yourself.

Like a sharp slap to the face, it has just come to my attention that 2009 is the year of my 20th High School Reunion. Its hard to believe that Ive been out of school almost twice as long as I was in school. As many who follow the message boards may know, while my dammned body has aged 2 times over, my mind is still that of the 16 year old that roamed the halls of Haverford High School. Cenzos Pizza was the only nearby place that tolerated and thrived on the masses of High and Middle schoolers who pooled their change together to buy a few slices of pizza. I havent been back in the entire 20 years since graduation but im pretty sure its still there and im pretty sure some sadsack teens are still suffering with burned roof of mouth, unable to quench it with cola because they couldnt afford both pizza and soda. As I remember, the pizza was exceptionally good. Thin and floppy with good cheese and somewhat sweet sauce. We lived in their delivery range and when it was my turn to order pizza, I always went for Cenzos and invariably, the delivery driver was always someone I knew from school trying to pay off their car, and i felt obliged to tip them well. Cenzos was somewhat of a safe-zone, as the owners tolerated normal teenage nonsense but didnt tolerate acts of violence. More than once, I fled to the safety of Cenzos , pursued by kids who meant me harm, to wait out a beating. What can I say, much like a few times here on Yelp, my sass has gotten me into some trouble. Our HS Reunion isnt planned just yet but I hope, on that evening, we can make a trip to Cenzos for old times sake. Who knows, I may piss someone off at the reunion by calling them fat or old and have to make a break for the safety of Cenzos. Ill just have to remember to bring enough for a slice AND a soda.

One major benefit that Cenzo's has over the competition is their location. This place is booming with kids shortly after the final bell at Haverford Middle & High! On the flip side, street parking will have to do for most others. I find the food to be ordinary. I have surveyed cheesesteaks, pizza (including white), fries and wings. Nothing really stands out but then again nothing is terrible. I honestly believe that many grant Cenzo's a bonus point (or star) for nostalgic reasons, given their close proximity to the schools. The fine folks of Havertown remember their fond memories of their school days. On a brighter note, Cenzo's is finally getting with the times and now accepts credit cards for orders over $10. No more walks to the Wawa! Important to note, that I do always find the staff to be pleasant here.

Something is wrong here....I can't pinpoint it but I ordered some pies here when I was back in town last weekend and the food was downright majorly disappointing! I had two pizza's both of which were cold/soggy and not anything like i remember. The place had about 10 people working yet all were standing around and talking. I'm not sure what's going on or if I will be back anytime soon but i need to update this review to let you know that the food has taken a turn for the worse.

Tasty hometown pizza joint. Why do I say this ? I ordered a pizza with mushrooms, and they used fresh, not canned, shrooms. This makes the grade for me, as well as a decent crust. Cenzo's an old time pizza joint not one of these noveau brickoven napoleam thin crust fads

Once again, these guys can't get a simple order right. We called the order in and asked for a large and small pizza. We got two large, when my wife told her that she ordered a small the girl shrugs her shoulders and charges full price. Bye Bye Cenzo's

This is our favorite pizza place and it helps that it's local. Delivery, when sparingly done, is always timely and the food has been fresh. We have had only a few bad pizzas from here (under/over done). The young people in the front are generally friendly. I can't speak for the other fare aside from fries, which they always crisp nicely for me and their delicious zucchini sticks.

The pizza is good compared to other establishments. The service is not, ordering a pizza on a Friday night will be 2 hours for delivery and 90 minutes for pickup. The person who answers the phone brusquely asks you to hold, then comes back to take your order- I get the sense they almost want you to go somewhere else. When I have gone to pick up, there are generally 5-10 workers buzzing around. It would 4-5 stars if they could be more efficient with customer service and shorter pick up times.

The new owners can't compare to the owners from a decade ago. I miss the old cenzos. Even though they aren't that bad now, it's not all too great, just par, at best. Out of all the pizza options, this place is best left to the middle and high schoolers looking to quench after school hunger.

Cenzo's Pizzeria Havertown is a pizza shop right next to the public library. It's a thin and long place that is squished between a dojo and an orthodontist. It's majority a take out place so all that's inside isn't very well put together or clean for that matter. There are about nine booths, 3 fridges, and a rack with chips. The service is quick but with an attitude, almost translating that that person doesn't want to be there. From a sit down customer standpoint, I would more likely recommend to order out of Cenzo's. The delivery is quick and the quality is just a bit better. It's great for get togethers and parties for just a quick bite to eat. All in all, Cenzo's can work on it's decor but they are doing a great job doing what they do and maybe you should try them out if you haven't yet. Cenzo's has very affordable pricing with the highest price being 23 dollars for a specialty pizza. It based all inside and has two cash registers waiting for you to order up. Cenzo's is not very clean, there are stains on the walls and the booths are not always wiped off. It gives off a very scroungy vibe and it just not somewhere you're going to have a sit down meal with your family. The pizza is so greasy it's wet, when you bite into the pizza the grease punches you in the face like a boxer. When you pick it up it folds like a wet piece of paper. Also the spicy fries are not spicy at all, there are just red, crunchy fries.

They don't take credit cards anymore. Remember that. I don't really know why , i know business owners get charged unbelievably when they accept credit cards (Swipe fee, then a percentage taken off the total purchase) but in this day and age you're alienating customers and cenzos does such good business it's hardly draining their finances. Anyway, It's a normal pizza place but something about it...mm. The pizza is nice and thin, definitely something you fold up while eating. The sauce is delicious, i can't explain it. Another staple here I think is their cheese fries, they give you a heaping pile of always cooked perfectly crispy french fries smothered in that cheese sauce we all love, absolutely perfect. I never leave the store without having ordered them. I grew up eating slices of this after school so maybe it's a childhood nostalgia thing but I really think this is the best pizza in the town. Avoid it on a friday or saturday night, the place is swarming with middle school kids, the same for weekdays right when school lets out (2:30). Expect a long wait if you call for pick up or delivery around those times but other than that the service is fine! It's staffed by highschool kids mainly but they avoid those highschool staff pitfalls like rudeness or apathy and the place is always clean. If you're eating in the store and not a lot of people are there, they will bring your food out to your table which is nice, if they're busy then you know gotta pick it up at the counter. Sidenote: I thought I would mention that I was here with my friends about half an hour before they were closing one night and they had left over slices and just gave them to us in a box for free so they didn't go to waste. I thought this was super nice and great in terms of not wasting food!
