For what it sets out to do, it does it very well. A bombardment of colours and an overload of sugar, displaying a wide variety of cereal boxes, happy blond ladies and nostalgic props everywhere you look. Tried the fruity milkshake which was an experience! A bit too sweet for my liking, but that was to be expected. The location is super, in middle of Brick lane, surrounded by nice eateries, art projects and Street art.

Have always wanted to come here from the first moment I heard of them! And they did not disappoint in the slightest! First off the people working here are all friendly and helpful and offer great choices and help you around the menu very well too! Secondly the decor inside is freaking awesome!! It's the biggest nostalgia trip you could probably ever make without actually time travelling! Cassette tapes as used to hold salt and pepper and your table number. The walls are decorated with stuff I remember so well from my childhood, cabinets full of old toys & memorabilia, a few old televisions showing old cartoons surrounded by the old milk crates you would always see back then, even cereal boxes that were out at the time! To top it off the seating is really cool! At the back of the restaurant you will find a single bed with some bedding from the 90's which is used as a seat for one of the tables! Its awesome!! Now to the food! The food was great! I ordered a Nutter Butter Milkshake, which was great! They even use cereal milk. Which just makes it taste better! And then I had some Golden Nuggets coated chicken nuggets! They were great! Perfectly cooked and every unique flavour. But it works! And to top off the whole experience your bill comes to you in a old VHS box! So if your looking for a unique but amazing dining experience you need to come here! Its brilliant!

A great chance to try out various cereals that are not usually available in this country, or really indulge yourself with their special blends, stacked milkshakes, or ice cream laden bowls of cereal. Not to mention a selection of cereal themed burgers! We tried the variety pack, which allowed us to sample eight different cereals for £12. Unfortunately not all cereals on display or in the menu are available for this. When we asked for clarification the waiters contradicted each other meaning we are still not sure! The venue is currently decorated for Halloween and looks great, the original 80s theme combines well, making me think of all those wonderful 80s horror movies. The giant portrait of Hannibal Lector enhanced this vibe! However there were a few issues, which considering how quiet it was when we were there is quite surprising. -first the confusion mentioned above -Service in the back section was poor, with the staff loitering in the front leaving half the bar unattended. -display cabinets and decorations were often fitted low enough to risk banging your head (I did a number of times and I'm short!) -unfortunately at least one waiter had quite strong BO which was very off putting when we were eating It can be expensive, but this is central London and you're paying for a unique experience. I will definitely return with some insulin shots and take on one of those amazing looking stacked shakes one day!

Google
Well are truly rare and iconic part of London. This is a great pit stop for any traveller to visit something unique and one of a kind to the quirky streets of Shoreditch. The atmosphere is fun a friendly and the menu is straight forward. There is a new vegan range with is amazing and a great addition while the good old classics still remain strong. The service was warm and friendly with everything being served quickly. The price is a bit expensive yet it kind of feels like the typical London price. Still worth the visit and would gladly recommend.

Took me back to childhood. Great idea. If you love cereal and ice cream this is the place to visit. Amazing combinations of cereal and ice cream. Loved the design looks like a bedroom Some of the seats are kids beds. On the walls they have limited edition cereals. They have a variety of cereals to choose from. We were a party of 4 with a 4 y.o and we all enjoyed our orders. Loved the chocopotomus it was so tasty.

Google
Excellent service, really great atmosphere reminiscent of childhood, it's actually a really quirky place. We ordered milkshakes with our choice of cereals which were decent but not too impressive. I personally find this place a location to be explored and indulge the environment. The pricing altogether was not too bad.

Google
This is actually one of our favorite places that we stopped while we were in London. It’s a little off the beaten path but it sits in a fun little shopping area that has a Haight-Ashbury feel to it. I would say it’s more about the experience than it is about the food. We were adventurous and tried the Fruity Pebble Fried Chicken and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Mozzarella Sticks. We also ordered one of their signature cereal bowls and washed it all down with a Captain Crunch Berry Shake. Each of those items tasted pretty much as good as they sound. If it were just about the food it wouldn’t be worth the stop but it has a cool 80’s / early-90’s vibe to it. They had Spice Girl wallpaper, an old Simpson’s arcade game, and light fixtures made from pop culture cereal bowls. The music they were playing fit perfectly with the atmosphere. All of it was made even better by a super-friendly staff. Go for the experience, stay for the food.

Google
loved this place! Definitely recommend booking a table if you're going at a busy time but it's so worth it, this place is awesome! Highly recommend trying a cocktail, they're super fun and creative but very sweet, beware of the sugar crash a few hours after visiting!

Yelp
Nice place, i went to many cafe around the city, but was not satisifed. One of my friend recommended this cafe and i really find it awesome. https://mynew-office.com/ | http://gomcafee.com/ | https://sortmcafee.com/activate/

Yelp
This place is such a fun concept and is so well done - worth a visit for that alone. However, wasn't super impressed with our shakes. We actually didn't like the lucky charms one at all.

Yelp
So fun! What a great concept. I know there are a few around the London area already. There are many options - some pretty normal ones, like a bowl of cereal with milk. And then others that are more unique, like cereal with cereal milk ice cream. There is even coffee offered with a certain cereal milk. They also have non-cow milk offerings. I ordered a mix of the Reese's and cookie dough "special" bowls with almond milk. Took me right back to my 90s childhood. Literally the decor alone is enough to stop in - 90s cartoons on those old TVs that were super tiny; the menu came in magazine type books - my cover was Sabrina the teenage witch and my friends was Backstreet Boys. Even the seating - there were mainly normal chairs, but 2 tables even had the old beds kids used to have. Just go! It'll be an experience, even if it is just a bowl of cereal. I will say it could be a bit slow but it was jam packed on a Thursday morning.

Yelp
Ahh! I am in love with this place. It's so different and unique! Cereal everything on food and drinks, 90s cartoon on TV (they were playing Arnold), twin beds, a bunch of cereal art, and friendly staff. It doesn't get better than this. My friends and I ordered fruity pebbles fried chicken, grilled cheese, and tater tots plus some of their milkshakes. I honestly wanted to order everything haha. But overall, everything was pretty good. I would love to come here again.

Yelp
Pros: Very large selection of cereals. Nice decor. Beds in the back gave the place a nice touch. The staff was very pleasant. Cons: The cereal was stale, overpriced and took entirely too long to come. Apparently non-breakfast foods were a new and recent thing. They should just stick to cereal. The food was bland and over cooked.

Yelp
I had not eaten a bowl of proper cereal in years. Decades actually. We were strolling down Brick Lane one fine Sunday morning and saw this fun restaurant. It was time! They had tons of choices but I went with something I had never heard of (that wasn't tough!) and added two kinds of fruit, strawberries and blueberries! With whole milk and a double espresso, I was in breakfast heaven! We ate downstairs, while sitting on kids beds watching old cartoons like Ninja Turtles and Thundercats on ancient TV's complete with built in VCR's! This was a strange time warp back to somebody's childhood. I'm sure that was the intent anyway! While enjoying our delicious breakfast, I noticed they had cereal boxes from all sorts of sources, including two with royals on them! Hilarious! We were energized and enjoyed the rest of the stay. Always start your day with a great breakfast!

Yelp
DON'T GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A NUT ALLERGY! (read on for why) I went to Cereal Killer today around 3 PM with a large group (of seven). We didn't get to sit together but they found a smaller table for us in the back (fyi you can prob have six or seven on a longer table+bed in the back if you request/wait). Was surprised when my friends who had come in a group (of six) almost AN HOUR before me still hadn't ordered... After hearing about their 40 minute wait just to order, we quickly flagged down the waitress. It got quite crowded and we ended up waiting over an hour for 2 bowls of cereal and a maltshake. The staff also kept messing up everyone's orders (there were one new employee but still) so there were lots of negative/angry customer vibes. The worst part (even more so than wasting time waiting on an overpriced bowl of cereal) was when one of my friends in the other group had a severe nut allergy and they served her cereal bowl with NUTELLA. My friend had asked and clarified multiple times (like 7) if her cereal had nuts in it. Her server didn't even know exactly what was in the cereals (They have NO INGREDIENTS LIST on their menus). I understand that the cafe was busy when we got there and they tried to do their best to help her after the fact, but I was very disappointed and will not be recommending this location to anyone. In summary, - bad service/wait time to order and to get cereal (how long does this really take like cmon)!! - very crowded and cramped especially in the back - inattentive staff who were not careful enough regarding my friend's NUT ALLERGY (she could have almost died...) - cereal is very subpar, friend's maltshake had foam/no icecream or even milk

Yelp
Cute place, love the concept and the name. It can be a bit overwhelming with all the cereal choices but chances are, whatever your childhood favorite cereal was, they have it. I went with a bowl of fruity pebbles and fruit loops with marshmallows and strawberry milk. Made me feel like a kid again! It was a bit over 4 for the bowl. The place itself is tiny and the line moves slowly but definitely worth checking out if you are in the area. They also have hot chocolate and pop tarts.

Yelp
My friend was showing our mutual friend and I around as it was our first visit to London. She wanted to introduce us to the infamous salt beef at the two beigel stores on brick lane. It was late at night and I, for some reason, decided to just look to my left and there it was, like a calling from the heavens, a restaurant with every cereal box you can ever imagine. "Oh my, I forgot to tell you. This place is known for their cereal and sweet treats," my friend exclaimed. My jaw dropped when I made eye contact with it. I haven't had a bowl of cereal in ages, let alone this specific one. There it was...OREO O'S. Yes. For everyone who doesn't live in South Korea, the only country that still makes them, this is something we haven't seen in about a decade. I wanted to just jump through the window and hold the box because I thought I was hallucinating. They were closing up and I asked if they sold cereal by the box. Unfortunately they don't, especially because the O's are a rarity and very hard to obtain. We were engulfing on the rest of our Eurotrip the next morning and returned to London for the last day. I made it a goal of mine to indulge in a bowl before we headed back to the states. Fast forward 5 days later to the morning of our flight... We were short on time, but my friend and I were on a mission to buy salt beef and Oreo O's respectively. We made it to brick lane with minutes to spare. The line at Cereal Killer was taking forever with only about 5 people in front. Can't blame them because there are so many combinations of cereal, milk, toppings, milkshakes, poptarts, and other sweet delicacies. I, however, knew what I wanted. Simply a large bowl with Oreo O's and regular milk. I wanted to feel like a kid again! My turn was up and I placed my order. The guy at the register was ridiculously kind and told me that they may be opening up shop in my home, NYC! BEST NEWS EVER!!!!! Hopefully it happens. My bowl and milk arrived and I was really childish about it - jumping in my seat and all. 10 years later and I'm finally reunited with an former lover. What made it even more meaningful was that I recieved the second to last serving of O's! It was meant to be! What a romantic story, eh?! They put crumbled oreos in the bowl as well. I'm not complaining! But the first bite was so satisfying. I had to rush through the bowl because we were really short on time. I was happy to say the least. The large bowl of just Oreo O's was 6.95 pounds, I believe. High price because it is rare. Overall the other prices aren't TOO expensive, but for cereal it is. You do get your money's worth and it revives the kid in you. The bowls are small, medium, and large. I am definitely going here a few times during my next trip to London and I highly recommend it to anyone in town. This is a MUST VISIT! Also.. shoutout to the ninja team in Brick Lane! You guys are awesome! Thank you for the service!

Yelp
On a Saturday evening, I patronized this establishment and was waited on by and African American individual who so unpleasant and unorganized. He took our order and refused to add extra juice to my killer shrimp bowl and in the snotty 6 year old attitude replied, "that it doesn't come like that so we can't do that" little does he know it's possible it's done everytime we come which is maybe once a week so it can and is always done. I'm a paying customer why should there be a problem? We wait about 10 minutes for food to come out and it was Luke warm not hot.

Yelp
A whimsy fun and hip place that serves cereal infused drinks and desserts, alcohol is also an option here. The workers here were kind and attentive, nthe interior and music makes it a nice place to unwind in a cool yet colorful setting

Yelp
After researching must visit places before heading to London we found this unique spot. And damn and I'm glad we visited. The inside is walled with hundred of cereals and serial killer art...made of cereal, obviously. I had a bowl of the Lion King and it was so chocolately delicious. Also, a side of pop tarts which took us back to our youth. We finished it off with a peanut butter hot chocolate which finally overdosed us on chocolate. If you're looking for something unique, this place is a must!
google avatar

Lindsay B.

Yelp
This was on my "must visit" list, when visiting London. I'm not going to lie, I felt a little bit overwhelmed knowing I had one bowl to create and all of those cereals to choose from. I would go back here everyday and try new combinations of things, if I could afford it. The bowls are a little pricey, but worth the crazy combinations you can come up with there. I decided to go with my own version of Unicorn Poop: Lucky Charms, Party Rings, Marshmallows, Fluff, Hundreds and Thousands, with Almond Milk. I am extremely sassy that this was never an option for me to eat this in the morning as a child. I would have loved waking up in the mornings before school and my mom would have dreaded the sugar-high.

Yelp
3.5 stars The idea is real cool for everybody with a sweet tooth like me! Definitely gives you the 90s kids vibe! We had an air bnb right above this place (also a great area just to go out, plenty of bars and surrounding hangout spots). Different kiddy cereals and milk combinations win my heart BUT, dont be fooled. You won't be able to finish the large unless you are 1. drunk 2. stoned 3. maybe both. My bf, his brother and I had to roll our selves out of there, we didn't even finish our bowls. The hot chocolate wasn't that impressive tasting, looked great though for all you hard core peeps on the gram. I would love to have a Hey Arnold marathon there. The novelty is definitely worth the try.

Yelp
I came to visit this place while I was traveling. Super cute and unique. Such nostalgic decor all around. Some of the table seating area is actually a twin bed you sit on! They have more than just cereal, they also serve fun cocktails as well. I got the PB and chocolate cereal that was super good and they give you a cute glass of milk with it. I came on a weekday night and there was no line and plenty of seating. Very cool place, I would recommend my friends who are visiting London to go!
google avatar

Erica K.

Yelp
The worst! I think that the bright designs and the air of nostalgia may pump up people's excitement to come here. But, don't. The menu is basically sugar, sugar, dairy, sugar... so it's not "real food" in my opinion. But the service was awful. A host guided us to sit far from everyone and near the door. She immediately tried to take our order before we were even sitting without so much as a proper introduction. Then, she literally never looked at us again. How she was able to successfully ignore us is beyond me. Also, this staff member kept opening the door and leaving it open even though it was FREEZING outside. I would get up to close the door, he would apologize and then just open it up again a minute later.. to which I would get up an close it again.. and again... SO WEIRD! And the staff was half naked, but somehow didn't seem affected by the sub-zero gusts into the building. We left without ordering.

Yelp
I left this place with a stomach full of disappointment and Cinnabon cereal (which, if by the end of this review you still feel compelled to go to this place, I highly recommend). The service here was the absolute WORST. It took an hour to get served, which if I had ordered filet mignon I'd be ok with. But no, I ordered a bowl of cereal. And not even a bowl of cereal and milk because the milk was served on the SIDE! HOW DOES IT TAKE THAT LONG TO PUT CEREAL IN A BOWL?! I wasn't alone in this, the people around me were experiencing the same slow service I was, we were all equally confused as to what could be going on in. Then I had to go to the bathroom (as one does from time to time) and was met with a roll of soggy toilet paper and water all over the floor. It was nauseating. While trying to pay and leave to finally let one of the parties waiting (way too long) in line a table, our waitress was MIA. We had to flag her down ourselves and hand her the money. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars not 1 is because the cereal was tasty, but it was not worth it for the price or for the amount of time that was shed off my life clock waiting for these people to put cereal in a bowl in any kind of timely manner. NOT WORTH IT!! Just go to Sainsbury's. Less time, less money, dry toilet paper.

Yelp
Great concept ! A lot of choice in a hype cosy café. It is hypsterish, but I consider it to be a must see in the Brick Lane's neighborhood... Around £3.50/£4 for a bowl though...
google avatar

Christine S.

Yelp
I'm not going to lie, I first heard about this place on the news, the Daily Mail were outraged that these two hipsters could dare to open up a cafe selling bowls of cereal for £4 in the 'poverty stricken' Tower Hamlets! Also, being from Belfast myself, I wanted to support the two boys from home who had started up this venture. The cafe is super cool and funky in an old fashioned way, with cereals from all over the world available and on display. We went along on a Sunday and despite that, it was still packed! I had the Lion King cereal. It was a small bowl, and it was pure delicious sugary e-number-y goodness, I loved it! My other half had nothing, as he was being a spoilsport and wouldn't pay the money, even though we were 'on holiday'! I enjoyed the experience. I have only taken a star off because I found the service a bit 'faffy' and slower than it should have been.
google avatar

Madeline B.

Yelp
The concept is so simple you'd think it would have been done before. But this place takes it above and beyond. With cereal art on the walls and deliciously flavoured milk, they challenged me to take my cereal more cereasly. (Seriously. Get it?)

Yelp
Updating because I came back today after my first visit over 2 years ago and was disappointed in what a different experience I had. Expecting the same joyful, nostalgic, and somewhat self-aware hipster irony of spending 10 pounds on cereal, I arrived at cereal killer after a walk through the Columbia flower market. The staff were friendly and we were seated quickly and given the choice to pick one of the tables in the (pretty dimly lit) back room. We chose the table with the most light, underneath a wall of vintage cereal boxes. We were enjoying looking at all of the unique cereals until another waitress came and asked us to move because they actually needed to give the table to a larger party. Not a huge deal, and understandable, so we moved to the other table. Our waitress was very helpful in explaining some menu items (the menu has been updated since the last time I went). When our food came, the person who brought it put down our spoons- straight onto the bare table. I realize I'm extremely picky about this kind of thing but I really don't like silverware being put straight onto the surface of the table (which had crumbs from the previous guests still on it) as you never know what someone put on there last! After a few minutes when the waitress passed by, I asked her politely for another spoon. She stared at the spoons we already had and said "sure", never to return with a new one. Only when my friend went to the front counter to ask for spoons did we receive them! Though we had asked for some water which never came, the food itself was delicious as is expected of your favorite childhood cereals! Most of my disappointment came from the atmosphere/experience. They are trying to make it a sit down restaurant and have added savory options, which takes away from the fun simplicity of the idea in my opinion. What used to be such a fun, cute place now felt tired and old, with the cereal art pieces missing large chunks of Cheerios and a beanie baby wall that looked like about a third of them had fallen off. An example of the clientele/mood in the dining room- two girls were sitting at one of the tables taking photos. They had moved from their original table to this one because it had a bed with children's sheets as a bench. When the waitress came to ask them to please move so she could sit a party at that table, they said "one minute" and left the entire party standing there while they posed with cereal in multiple different configurations. Obviously to some extent everyone that goes to a place like this is going for the novelty or to take photos of their cereal creations to show friends how ~trendy~ they are and I am not one to talk on that front! But, i was disappointed in the lackluster experience after having such a great one on my first visit. EDIT: Also, no wifi:( and subpar restroom....

Yelp
The decor was basically like the 90s threw up in the absolutely best way possible. I was constantly discover something that reminded me of my childhood throughout the cafe. The food was extremely yummy and we will definitely come back but if you're looking for a full meal that's more savory than sweet this may not be the spot for you since their savory options are quite limited.

Yelp
My friend and I spent a solid couple of days near London HYPED to try this place out-- the concept sounded so neat and a sweet-breakfast themed place with a vegan menu is an easy sell for me. I think where it fell short for us was in the execution of the food. The aesthetics are so strong, and so on point, that the food would've had to have been really special and exciting to measure up and nothing we had was on that level (we had the OMG bowl, mozzarella sticks, tater tots, and a stacked hot chocolate). I'm also a career bartender and was pretty disappointed by the cocktail selections-- cereal is such a weird niche and there's SO MUCH more you can do with it, other than just a cereal rim on a rum-and-soda that you'll drop 9£ on. It's not all negative: the girl who took care of us was prompt and friendly, the vibe as stated elsewhere is truly unique, and the location is great too. TL; dr: great vibe, great staff, okay food, pricey

Yelp
I'd been wanting to bring my sweet-toothed boyfriend here for months since I saw my friend post a ridiculous picture of her "breakfast". We had looked at the menu online beforehand to get ourselves excited, but I have a rule about not choosing what to eat before you get to somewhere so I decided to wait and see the menu when I arrived. The only issue is there wasn't much of a menu at the actual cafe; they had a blackboard up with lots of combos but unless you knew what you were doing, it was very hard to know all the options. I made a rash decision to go for a ready made combo of the mint chocolate dish with a happy hippo on top just because I could (!) and my boyfriend chose a Lion inspired one. We got a Pop Tart on the side (obviously) and some sugar sweet berry Fanta. By the time we ate it was actually 12 midday, but this is probably a good thing considering the huge intake of sugar that we consumed in such a short period of time! The cafe isn't very big with limited seating so I imagine it gets lretty busy. Luckily we got a seat downstairs, surrounded by all the quirky cereal memorabilia which gives the place such a nice touch. It's very expensive breakfast, but definitely worth it for the experience. My main recommendation is to choose from the online menu beforehand.

Yelp
Came in on a hot day and felt pretty miserable eating because of it. Regardless the service was ok, maybe understaffed. We ordered the cinnamon toast mozzarella sticks and the Lon don done. I thought the mozzarella sticks were delicious and I would highly recommend them if you like mozzarella! The Lon don done was good but nothing special in my opinion. The decor was very fun! Very 90's and it was a flash from the past. And the location is interesting to explore! I wouldn't want to come here on a regular basis but bring my friends to see when they visit because it's a pretty cool idea.

Yelp
Another good visit! This time with bf and his brother. We decided to rock up for an afternoon snack at 4ish on a saturday. There were people in there but it wasn't too busy. Again friendly service. This time I went for blue waffle cocktail which was minion cereal, waffle cereal and blueberries with cinnamon milk. It was delishhhh. I can't get over how much I love this place - cheap dessert, always different and hits the spot for a sweet fix!

Yelp
Ahhh! This place was so nostalgic. From the 90s/2000s music that plays while you enjoy your cereal, the twin bed seating area with 90s/2000s style comforters, to the VHS tape that your bill comes in. I felt like I traveled back into my childhood walking into this cafe. It was such a cool experience! They have a whole wall of cereals for you to mix and match as well as a menu that has combinations for you to choose from with different flavored milks. They also offer a vegan menu with a lot of vegan options! I had a cereal cocktail that had a variety of peanut butter and chocolate cereals and banana milk. So yummy! It's such a unique cafe and is definitely worth a visit if you are in London!

Yelp
The media had a field day when it opened, with their criticism and whatever else. But I really don't understand why. It is a brilliant concept. Who doesn't love eating cereal for dinner?? Don't tell me you've never gotten in from work, put your PJs straight on, and served yourself the biggest bowl of cereal known to man for dinner because you can't be bothered to cook. And now you can enjoy cereal for dinner in a less antisocial kinda way! This place throws you back to the 90s, music and all. The guys that work there are super friendly and easy going. If you love cereal as much as I do then you need to get down there asap. Their list of cereals is extensive. Crazy extensive (and includes a few gluten free choices -yippee!). Then you've got toppings like strawberries, marshmallows, banana, chocolate drops and walnuts. Then you have all the milk (dairy and non-dairy) with the option to flavour your milk with chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and so on. Oh and I forgot to mention, you can mix your cereals!! (We were rarely allowed to do that as kids...it was a treat!) Can you feel my excitement??? I love everything about it! In the end I went for a large bowl of Ricicles with marshmallows and strawberries, topped with strawberry rice milk (I actually got overwhelmed with the toppings and milk choices and forgot that I could mix cereals...nooooo)! No doubt about it, 5 stars. And to the haters? Get a life! (FYI the best way to do this is to start having breakfast for dinner - go on, have some fun).

Christopher T.

Yelp
This place is so quirky and fun, it's worth a trek to Shoreditch. Kids will love cereal combos like Unicorn Poop (real menu option) and the Luckiest Charms (twice the marshmallows) and adults will love the toys from the 80's and 90's. Might need a long walk after to come down from the sugar.

Yelp
I am a fan of this 90's theme cafe! They had 90's memorabilia everywhere you looked: on the walls, in the bathroom, and you had the option to sit on beds ...BEDS! The beds had 90's themed sheets which was something that I had never seen before. As a 90's baby, I felt like I was reliving my childhood dream being surrounded by so much 90's themed items and movies. Also to add to the serial killer theme they have portraits of real serial killers made out of cereals (you'll have to visit to see for yourself). It is about a 20 minute walk from the Liverpool underground. I recommend going either for breakfast because cereal or in the mid-afternoon because it isn't a full-on meal. Depending on what you order you could get a meal or a snack. My friends and I ordered a snack-like meal because we didn't want to have cereal for dinner. I ordered the PEC which is peanut butter chocolate flavored cereal. I will say that for cereal it is slightly expensive, but for the experience of the cafe and the food it is worth it! There is nothing like this were I am from so the atmosphere was something that I had never experienced before which made it 10x times better!

Yelp
Snap, Crackle, and Pop! I'm in love with Cereal Killer Cafe on Brick Lane in Shoreditch. Everything about this place is just pure awesomeness! Not only is it an ultimate hipster heaven with a fun concept, it's also a time capsule to all kinds of good childhood nostalgia. And let's face it the walls of cereal boxes in all the colours of the rainbow just make you smile :) How it works is you start by choosing your cereal from dozens of choices ranging from classics like Captain Crunch, Apple Jacks, Coco Pops etc. to the more peculiar ones like Poppin' Pebbles in either a small, medium or large bowl. Then you choose your milk (there's like 20 different ones to choose from) and finally you choose your toppings. This will set you back about 4 pounds or so. Some people complain it's too expensive, but I say it's totally worth the experience! I ordered Lucky Charms with extra marshmallows and it was everything I wished it would be and more. So sugary and unhealthy and awesome! It was just a fun thing to do and I enjoyed it! On top of everything the staff is great or in the famous words of Tony the Tiger "they're g-r-r-r-e-a-t"!

Yelp
Fancy going somewhere filled with pure ridiculous childhood nostalgia? In the cutural heart of London? Where two can dine for £7..?! Then welcome to cereal killer cafe. Cool hipster setting in Brick Lane. Check. Bubbly but uber chilled ambiance. Check. Poptarts, a mound of international cereal and mini bottles of milk flavours in assorted flavours. Check. I want to be a cereal killer when I grow up...!

Yelp
Couldn't have a better name because what I ate was really a sugar infused heart attack in a bowl! Reasons to go here: it's cool, it's quirky, it's colourful and fun! The cereal cocktails are interestingly put together - although I didn't love the one I chose I still think the concept is great. Reasons not to go here: to have weetabix with skimmed milk. Yes, that's what the person in front of me ordered. Why???? If you're going to spend £3+ on cereal don't be boring!

Yelp
Walking down for brick lane street we found this awesome bar. Is small inside, maybe there's something downstairs...but we stayed in the ground floor. It's not an usual breakfast bar, it's more like what you usually get at home for breakfast!! Milk with cereals! Every kind of cereals you can imagine!! We took a simple cappuccino and believe me, I'm Italian, that cappuccino made me forget the Italian one!!

Yelp
It's an intriguing concept and great to embrace your inner child. They have 120 choices of cereal, from global to American to British, and it can be overwhelming to choose. They do have cereal cocktails though, which you can adjust to your tastes or just leave as is. We got a small Bowlacchino to split, which is Nesquick cereal, Coco Pops, Flake, espresso milk, and cafe curl (we subbed it for Twix mix). It was super, super sweet (like more sugar than I need in a lifetime), but like I said, an interesting experience. Definitely a dessert. Yelp
Cerealously cool.. I absolutely adore this place! Cute, kitschy, nostalgic and oh-so-very-hipster - but in the best kind of way! With around 120 cereals to chose from, you can mix, add and chose til your hearts content what you want in your bowl of amazing-ness that comes with an adorable mini milk bottle to pour in! I really love the whole concept of this place. Cannot wait to come back the next time I'm in London for my bowl of sugary goodness!

Yelp
I love it! Back to the 90's and childhood. They have a large choice of cereals. It gets a little crowded sometimes.

Yelp
We found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try (even though I was still full from breakfast). The place is small, but it has a big variety of cereal, national and imported. They also have their own little concoctions of cereals such as the unicorn poop, which was pretty sweet and colorful, as expected LOL. When I was done, I went downstairs to look for the restroom.. but I only found some more chairs and tables. They do not have a restroom, but they suggested to go to the business next door, which apparently is ok with people to go to the WC there. Cool concept, I just wish they had a restroom.

Yelp
This place is AWESOME!!! As if breakfast for dinner wasn't good enough on its own, this place makes it even better! Dozens of kinds of cereal from the UK, USA, and all around the world combine with 30 kinds of milk for nearly endless combinations of cereal nirvana! If you're feeling adventurous, you can even mix and match cereals into a single bowl. Their professionally-trained cereal engineers have come up with a handful of cereal 'cocktails' with wild combinations of cereal, flavored milk, and sweet toppings. The ensuing rush of sugar and nostalgia are helped along by the retro music and cereal art all over the walls. There's a series of collector's edition cereals (think movie merchandise like Star Wars Cheerios) and some awesome mosaic portraits of famous serial killers Hannibal Lecter and Dexter made entirely out of cereal pieces. Prices were really reasonable, the staff was friendly and helpful (and clearly loved their job), and the ambiance was comfortable. I can't wait to go back again. With so many cereal combinations to try, that's gonna be soon so I can keep experimenting with the perfect blend. Next time I might come in pajamas too (just to complete the childhood breakfast experience)!

Yelp
THIS PLACE IS CEREAL HEAVEN! I experienced Nostalgia at Cereal Killer Cafe! This place is fantastic with a wide selection regarding cereal and anything sweet! I had the frosted flakes and hot chocolate with brownies! The top floor is really cool with all types of cereal hanging on the wall. But the downstairs is even cooler taking it back to the 90's. This place had old Vcr's, animations/music from the 90's & even a throwback posters of Nsync! This place needs 5 STARS because it's iterally the coolest place in Shoreditch!

Yelp
Before I came here I was pretty skeptical because of the obvious question: how good can cereal get? Especially when I'm not usually a fan of cereal...Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised. I came here on a Sunday morning at around 10 am and it seemed like we had just beat the crowd, since the line started getting long after we came. I wanted something light since I would be getting afternoon tea later that day, so I ended up going for a small bowl of Cheerios with almond milk and blueberries. They prepared my bowl right away, and I appreciated how they put the milk in a separate jar - I like pouring in my milk in smaller portions because I'm a slow eater and if I don't, the cereal gets soggy. What I ordered sounds simple enough, but it was surprisingly satisfying. I can't say it was anything special, but it was definitely a solid breakfast. I only wish they put more blueberries, especially since it's an extra cost - I expect to get more than 10 (if I even got that many...). Otherwise, I enjoyed my experience here (both the concept and vibe were awesome) and I recommend a visit here if you're in the area!

Yelp
My 16 year old daughter begged to come her. Admittedly it's a very interesting concept. It was fun inventive and creative. The location is a bit small which makes it feel Bohemian. That may be part of its lure and charm. They do have an extensive selection of cereals. Their mixed recipes are interesting and milkshakes are gorgeous. They look like they were created by Hanna-Barbera. The bottom line: this is a great tourist stop but not likely a regular stop for locals.

Yelp
Went here on a hot/humid afternoon, no a/c means NOT that great. But everything else was awesome, we got the bowloccino and mint choco chipster. Since it was hot, the milk wasnt super ice cold (which i prefer) but the flavor was good. The basement was filled with Thundercats, Ducktales and Clarissa Explains it All. Very fun, Portland/Brooklyn like feel to it, most of Shoreditch is.

Yelp
I lived in London for three months and the Cereal Killer Cafe was recommended to me several times before I left. I knew I had to go and had passed it a few times on the way to work but never really had the desire to walk in since cereal wasn't my top choice for a meal. The vibe of the place was pretty cool but I think the spot is overrated. The employees were very nice but the service was extremely slow and what i thought was going to be an in-and-out turned into a 30 minute wait for a bowl of cereal. I'd say this place is perfect for tourists who have some time to kill, but if you're in a hurry, maybe just come for the pictures. Overall, the restaurant is really cool and definitely Instagram worthy but the cereal wasn't as interesting as I expected it to be. Make sure you have other meals lined up for your day if you choose to eat here!

Yelp
Loved my experience here, but I think the novelty of the place will wear off in a few years I think. Decor is awesome, very instagram worthy. Colorful, filled with cereal boxes, quirky. Service was quite slow though. You can either choose a cereal, milk, and toppings or choose one of their cereal "cocktails", which basically means a mash up of their own creation. I went with the chocopotamous for £4.75. I forget exactly but chocolate with a side of milk. A yummy treat since I haven't eaten cereal in a while but I wouldn't necessarily make my way here again. Fun to visit and a "must try once in your life" but it's just cereal in the end.

Yelp
What: Hot Chocolate for Drinks Where: Grand Central, Birmingham, UK The Dish: Stacked Hot Chocolate [Read more...] Value: £6pp Food Review: To order: Stacked Hot Chocolate The stacked hot chocolate is a childhood dream come true, hot chocolatey milk with a load of extras piled on top such as cream, chocolate pieces etc. Half drinkable, half edible, 100% amazing. It is definitely a sharing drink/dessert. I have had the cereal before but not this time, but is a must for anyone craving hard to find cereals from their childhood and then some. There range includes all the favourites and more. Sober Status: Alcohol is not served on site When I next visit I would have: to try the cereal cocktail, a mix of cereal and drinks such as espresso. Halal: No Internal and External Review: The interior in this branch is amazingly done considering the space on offer, a side section of a corridor. The seating area consists of beds for tables decked out with cartoon covering (there are normal table aswell but you can get those anywhere).television screens playing old cartoon videos from childhood. Along the walls are posters, videos and colourful crates to separate the area and act as a wall. All in all, a fun childlike place for everyone. The Service: The drinks were given quickly and nothing could be faulted when it comes to service. Sum up: Quick drink or cereal. Definitely the novelty factor but sometimes a little light heartened is needed.

Yelp
Hole in the wall, super vintage. The most amazing breakfast. Cookie dough pop tart was a game changer! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Yelp
If you just see it as cereal and perhaps just have a regular bowl of cereal it might be overpriced but the cocktail cereal menu was ok all things considered. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff - one of them offered to help us out the shop with our pram even though there were two of us. I had the marshmallow submarine - who knew a Twinkie would taste nice soggy from milk! Go at an unpopular time of day, I'd say, like we did.

Yelp
Oooh this place gave me the biggest nostalgia hit I've had since finding reruns of Sister Sister on TV a few months ago! Someone must've spent a lifetime collecting all the 80s and 90s memorabilia on the walls - anyone else remember the plastic tiger-shaped bike reflectors from the Frosties packets?! And they even had Clarissa Explains It All showing on TV! And then there's the cereal. The menu reads like a dentist's worst nightmare, each item sweeter than the last. And SO much choice it's overwhelming: 100+ cereals, 20+ toppings, poptarts, toast and just when you think you've cracked it, even 20 types of milk. My inner monologue was in overdrive (do I want something chocolatey? woah is that Cinnabon cereal?! maybe I should get a fruity poptart to be healthy? pah who am I kidding, 'healthy'! hmm is chocolate milk too much?! etc etc). Luckily there's a queue for you to make up your mind, and probably change it ten times with each new cereal box you spot. It moves fairly speedily but took a good half hour for us on a Sunday at 11ish, and was longer when we left. The most amusing part was hearing snatches of everyone else's convo's as they passed the ever expanding queue through Brick Lane Market ('you mean these people are all waiting for CEREAL?!', 'what do you mean it ONLY sells cereal?', '£3.50 a BOWL?! Why don't they go round the corner to Tesco?'). Yes, it's kinda ridiculous. And it's unnecessary, and unhealthy, and completely overhyped. But it's just so fun that I don't care. I had a medium bowl of Reese's Puffs, topped with crumbled Oreo cookies (at the server's suggestion) and semi-skimmed milk, with a blueberry poptart (that I defo didn't need) and a latte. I left feeling like I needed to brush my teeth and praying the sugar crash later wasn't too bad and probably with early onset diabetes - but damned if it didn't put the biggest smile on my face too :-D
