Cerebral Brewing - Aurora Arts

I love Cerebral and it’s a fantastic addition to the Aurora Arts District on East Colfax! They have a great selection of drinks and even something my gluten-free partner can have. Also the space is amazing! It’s so big and bright and airy and they have various events like live music, first Friday, and food trucks. The space is honestly beautiful and great for a big group! I also like that you can bring in outside food from the trucks or local restaurants and enjoy it with a beer :) there is a TON of great food in this area. When it’s warm, Cerebral can open the sides of the building for a fun indoor/outdoor feel. 10/10

Best spot in town. It's the absolutely best. Dog-friendly INDOORS, friendly staff, great spread of beers (mostly on the hoppy side, do be warned). Also a good study spot too if you want good vibes and coffee or a drink (free wifi). High ceilings and ambience make for a great comfortable space any season. You can bring outside food in also. Some solid pinball offerings also. Great takeaway beer options too

Came here this evening for a birthday gathering. Our toddlers were toddlers and the team was more than accommodating. I would not hesitate to come back with a little one, great brews and great environment. Thank you Cerebral team!

Very friendly staff, cool building, HORRIBLE pinball! Seriously, we had an issue with four out of the six machines we tried, and didn’t bother with the other two because if there was an issue they couldn’t refund us. It was a spacious, cool brewery with tasty beer (I had the Rare Trout) and the “Smash Wrap and Roll” food truck had great street tacos. However, if you’re coming for pinball, don’t even bother, you’ll be seriously disappointed and wish you went to 1up instead. Leaving five stars because it isn’t the staff’s fault but believe me, stay for the beer and the atmosphere, play pinball somewhere else!

Outstanding bevs, inclusive, and a gorgeous atmosphere. Truly what I think anyone goes to a brewery “hoping for”. I raved about this place when it had only one location and I can confidently say that I have even more enthusiasm about this new Aurora location. Top 5 Colorado brewery!

So freakin excited that Cerebral opened this new location, on Colfax—ITS HUGE! Beautiful building, amazing beers, and always the best service! They have a few arcade games and a large indoor area—no outdoor and parking can be interesting—I mean, it’s Colfax! Food trucks come as well!

This is in my top three for Denver-area breweries! Every beer I tried, in a variety of styles, was delicious!

Cerebral brewing is my favorite brewery in Denver and when I found out they opened a tap house within walking distance of my home, I was stoked! This tap house has such a cool vibe and I can't wait for the full expansion of the space. An awesome staff works here as well!

The East Colfax location is a great spot to grab a beer before or after a show in the Theater District. Cerebral is within a couple blocks of the Vintage Theater, Aurora Fox & the People's Building. It's an ideal place to meet up with your friends before or after a show. Sometimes you will run into the performers from the show, here. The beer selection is great, similar to the original location & Highlands taproom. Nice variety of styles, but heavy on the IPAs. They also have some small plates and snacks available for food. Parking can be challenging. You'll want to arrive early to hunt for a street spot. It is also a couple blocks from a big transit hub at Colfax & Dayton if you'd prefer to take the bus.

We met up here for our book club. It is nice that there is both street parking as well as a public parking lot nearby. We were told their chiller was having issues so some beers were slightly chilled others were near warm. I had their Kölsch. It had nose and taste of banana esters. Not a chilling issue. My husband's beer was room temperature which isn't great for an IPA. I think it would have been better if they didn't serve the beers that should be cold if they were pouring warm. A stout can handle being under chilled but IPA? The space itself is nice. Lots of seating. They had live music at the other end of the room. The beer tender was pleasant enough.

The food was served by a Cajun food truck and the beer on tap was really good. I would definitely revisit due to the friendly servers and bartenders. The warehouse feel is a cool industrious touch. My visit was for a political function so I also recommend them for group functions.

New spot on Colfax has a spacious interior, friendly staff, plenty of seats for remote working and free wifi. They have a cool section with arcade games which is fun. I will say parking is a challenge and somehow I found street parking. It is Colfax so know what to expect with that. I would recommend carpooling with your friends vs a meet-up. Dragonfruit lager was delicious! I am typically a dark beer person but was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of this lager. Sweet but not too sweet. Their description of the drink within the menu was spot on.

I'd give this new location maybe a 4.5 but 5 will do for now. Points off for kind of tricky parking (some areas around the corner are blocked off at the moment, there was a truly foul garbage smell on the side of the building, and inside the hops smell was kind of unpleasant as well). Other than those little demerits, this new space is huge, clean, and enticing. Also their drink menu is HUGE with their own brews and guest brews. I don't remember the other location's menu being this large. I tried a few samples of their sours and ended up with the BOP (All the Berries) which was actually a lot sweeter than most sours, though that was fine by me (I'd rather sweet/tart, than bitter or hoppy). The beertender (didn't catch his name) was very friendly and let us try a few samples before picking our beer. Prices were generally fair as well and there were a variety of sizes to choose from. Had a nice experience and would come back here with more friends.

A great brewery with a wide selection of beers and drinks. The sours are delicious, as a non beer drinker I was very happy with the options. They do samples which is quite nice! The bartender was very kind and happy to give recommendations. Ordered the lavender lemonade seltzer and was blown away! I don't love seltzers because most of them have a lot of carbonation, but this one was incredible when it came to both the carbonation and the taste (I got two rounds of the same drink!) The layout is spacious and the decor is very cute, the music was also great! They are also dog friendly, which is a nice plus for dog owners.

Attention owners of Cerebral, your employee, Tamara, is an amazing server. There were 32 people in the bar on a Sunday and she was flying solo. There was not a single person who needed service because she took care of everybody beautifully. She was cleaning the counters, cleaning the walls (which I've never, ever witnessed in a brewery), and killing the flies in the store. The bar looks amazing and everybody was happy thanks to her excellent service. She needs a RAISE and everybody reading this review needs to come in and enjoy a couple great beers. They do great collaborations, sell a decent selection of beers, and have clean bathrooms. This brewery is a great example of excellent beer and service, plus it's dog friendly.

I stopped in for a beer and lunch but found out there was just a food truck across the street and didn't want tacos so tried a 10oz Hazy which was delicious and went to lunch somewhere else. It's a large space, clean and if I had brought my own food, I would have stayed.

Cerabral never disappoints!! Beer selection was amazing!! Tried the All Love, No Hate hazy IPA w/ Guava and OMG! It was delicious!Heard about the new location and had to check it out! Tons of indoor seating, super clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly and you just feel very comfortable here! Food truck was also parked right outside for a quick bite! 10/10

I didn't need to know I love beer slushees, but here I am! It tastes like a smoothie, like, how?! Great beer selection on tap and even seltzers. Huge patio. Lovely staff and service. Clean as heck.

Attractive, clean, open space that was easy to find. A great place to relax and enjoy some great beer. Service was efficient and friendly and not at all overbearing. Just right.

Cool place to hang out and have a delicious brew! If you set high standards for your brewery beer, you will not be disappointed.

I'm from Indianapolis, but every time I visit my son we come here. They are well known for their IPAs and Stouts. I always enjoy their new brews. Kuddos to the staff!!

I came to this location because it was down the street from another brewery I wanted to try. I loved the murals on the outside and I loved the decor of the taproom. The bartender was welcoming and I ordered a flight of four beers. Three out of four hit the spot. That smoked helles lager was wonderful. A good visit overall.

So tasty and Colfaxy! Neon Lite is the best light beer ever concocted. And what a great space to spend time in...the only thing missing is a neon sign.
