Best Cocktail Bars to Check Out in Tijuana, Mexico - Eater San Diego

"A casual bar by Coyote Projects, a collective of retail and hospitality businesses in TJ, Cereus Bar sits close to the San Ysidro border. Seasonal festivities will take place on the terrace in the coming weeks, including summer pop-ups with beer pong, tiki nights, arcade machines, corn hole, and other games, offered alongside bar bites like burgers and hot dogs." - Roxana Becerril

Smoky Passion cocktail is my favorite, meseros fantásticos y buen ambiente. Los papas fritas también estaban bien. Recent edit: there must have been a change in management or something, just came here for the first time since January and there’s negative changes. Bad service, I had to ask the server to bring me the water I initially asked for when I ordered 10 minutes ago, it took at least 18 minutes to get our drinks. The food changed, it’s just not good anymore. My favorite drinks also changed, my wife and I just took a couple sips and asked for the check. I’m really disappointed, this was my favorite bar in TJ.

Terrible! It’s a shame, few yrs ago they had a respectable cocktail and beer bar. Definitely not worth the pit stop before diving into TJ. Last night I had return my gin & tonic because it had no fizz, as in it had gone flat, lime peel was old, brown and bitter. No menu selection for drinks, except some bottled beer and 1 tap, they have spritz listed, but they’re unavailable, just ask for whatever you wanna drink said the bartender as he proceeded to serve me a mediocre gin & tonic for 10dls, still drank it while I waited for my Uber lol🥲 🙈Try ARUBA or MINIMAL cocktail bars, they’re awesomely delicious and around the same price range.

This is an amazing place with an energetic staff and welcoming atmosphere! The Spicy Pork Patacones was phenomenal! But the highlights for me were the cocktails. The American Troubadour and The Prince of Edinia were the highlight of the visit. The cocktails are beyond amazing and well balanced. Grab a drink and enjoy the vibe! Cheers!

I base a good bar on how good their old fashiones are, pretty damn good, not as fancy as other bars in the US but pretty great all things considered, 4 star based on they missed the cherry on the old fashioned and the glass they used for the beer it's all relative but none the less good chill bar as soon as you cross the boarder, 5 min from crossing, good prices

Excellent cocktail and craft beer offerings. We had a nice pizza too. Chill atmosphere with very nice servers. Highly recommended.

Chill place to drink, eat, and enjoy music I'll need to add pictures late. Near the border, right near Simsa hospital and walking distance from crossing back to s.d.

It was a table for 2. We got seated in the perimeter of the area as the patio was full which is totally understandable it’s a Friday night. After being sat we waited approximately 10-15 for a server to attend us. We requested to change tables as their was a foul smell around our table and plus we wanted to be seated in the patio. Server said yeah no problem when a table cleared we would be moved, told us he would be back to take our drink orders 8 to 10 mins went by server never came back. I understand it was a busy night and there was only like 2-3 servers for a big crowd. But other people sat after us already had drinks and food on their tables. We just got up and left.
