Certified café

Take away coffee shop in the passage. One of the best flat whites coffee shops! Also, there roasted coffee bean quality is so good, sometimes I buy their grindered coffee and enjoy at home. So good

Visited Certified cafe for the second time today. True to their sign outside they do the "best flat white in town". Perfect the first time and perfect this time. It's a blessing for this Aussie in Paris. Mostly do take away but they have limited real cups if you ask. There's minimal space inside to drink your coffee but when the restaurant opposite is not open you can use their tables in the Galerie. The barista is top class and everyone's so friendly. They have a wonderful reasonably priced book of 30 Parisian cafes, including Certified, with beautiful water colour illustrations of each. It's on display and I walked out with a souvenir copy.

Honestly, the coffee, the lattes and everything else here is amazing. My favourite ever is the chai latte! The workers are also really nice. Totally recommend.

Certified is a hidden gem in Passage Choiseul. The coffee is truly next level, especially the flat white and dirty chai. Calm vibe, clean design, and super friendly staff. Great place to start your day or take a peaceful coffee break in the heart of Paris.

The moment I saw the sign on the door boldly screaming “Best Flat White in the City,” the little hater in me couldn’t resist and screamed — Sophie, we absolutely have to try this pretentious place! And I have to admit, despite my eye-roll and little giggling it turned out to be one of the most perfectly made flat whites I’ve had in the city.

When I saw the sign that said best flat whites in Paris I had to try, because hey, claims like that usually lead to a cup full of sadness. It really was the best flat white I’d ever had. Period. Full stop. Nice bonus to enjoy it in the historic passages while it rained outside.

Thanks always to Certified. The staff working there is always wonderful and the place in the Passages is extra special. Don’t let me start on the coffee. Don’t let me start. Merci les garçons.

This will be a very positive review. Coffee: I drink straight espresso and while Certified has a reputation for great flat whites, the key to any coffee is the espresso. Full boat strong but not bitter. Perfect. Food: it was the end of the day and what was left was a morning pain de chocolate and a banana bread. A perfect banana bread without nuts and not too sweet. Service: super friendly with me and the other customers present while I sat and enjoyed my snack. Finally, Certified cafe is in one of the Paris passages, which are early malls. This one is mostly first rate food places and stamp collecting shops. What a hoot. Forget Paris, you could just vacation in this passage. Pretty terrific.
