"The Hood River tasting room of this Columbia Gorge winery focuses on not just chardonnay, tempranillo, and pinot noir, but also a fun collection of small-lot varietals like a floral, smoky Nebbiolo or a 2016 Sangiovese ideal for cookouts. Cerulean is open to walk-in tasters, but also takes reservations for groups larger than six." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Great little tasting room that felt welcoming! Super friendly down to earth girl helping us today. And a great variety of wines to try that were delicious!

Google
Their wine is fantastic, and we’ve enjoyed coming here for a long time. Make sure you call the day you want to come in - they were not open during regular hours on Saturday even after we called earlier in the week to plan our trip. That said, we love their wine - it’s consistently great, and the tasting room is cute and cozy.

Google
What a nice place. Very good service. Nice, fresh tasting wines, with both delicious reds and whites. Really liked their Chardonnay but truly enjoyed it all. Our server made the experience quite enjoyable. Professional and not pretentious. She even taught us one interesting wine facts I’d never heard before. Recommend this place.

The associate running the store on Friday, 8/28 was awful. He clearly didn't want myself and my girlfriend in the store. Most of his time we were in the shop he spent playing around on his laptop and phone. We expressed an interest in learning about the wines and vineyards that they work with, and received a distracted, half-hearted spiel that did not make us want to purchase any wine. Would not return.

We went to their little place in Hood River post Covid and sat outside. The wine was good and it was fun to be outdoors with the dogs and people sitting around. They have a few outdoor tables try to get them too.

Went on a Saturday afternoon, our second winery of the day. We left with several bottles and enjoyed visiting with the tasting staff. Only disappointment was that we couldn't taste the 2010 Temperanillo listed on the website.

Had a great experience today, someone was covering who used to work there. She was super knowlegable, and we had a very fun experience.. Unfortunately our palette wasn't on par with what they offered. But give them a try. Defiantly reccomending to my friends.

Excellent atmosphere and the wine was amazing. Would go back in a heartbeat. The dark haired girl working was both beautiful and funny as well. Double bonus

Yelp
Really good wine but tasting room not open at posted times. Showed up at 1:45 on a Friday and no one in sight or answering the phone. Luckily I have wine at home :) can't rate them too low because the wine is just that good, but wish we could have visited today.

Yelp
Had a great bottle of Pinot Noir on a Friday afternoon before shopping. Our hostess, Jade, was very knowledgeable about all of their wines and a great conversationalist! Tiny tasting room, but nicely decorated and welcoming. We will be back!

Yelp
I'm so happy this tasting room is able to operate during Covid. They added outdoor seating near the fountain, which provides plenty of space outside and even inside there's plenty of room. The wines are second to none. The woman working there is so pleasant and incredibly knowledgeable about wines. I always walk away having learned so much whenever I stop in.

Yelp
I've been a club member for almost two years and I highly recommend! Not only are their club memberships affordable but their wine is absolutely delicious! Their Tempranillo Rose, White Blend, Nebbiolo and Riesling are my favorites! I wish they still have their Portland tasting location but don't mind taking a trip a couple times a year to Hood River!

Yelp
Nice tasting room, nice wine, hostess was friendly. But... Do not buy/order wine for delivery! Told us card wouldn't be charged until shipped; was told they ship in the fall when weather/temps get milder, so the wine doesn't spoil; well my card was charged that same day... and then the wine was NEVER delivered. Had to dispute it with my card company to get my money back. Dishonest business.

Yelp
A really nice selection and some tasty wines at very reasonable prices! Nice tasting room with a knowledgeable and friendly host!

Yelp
If I could give this place 10 stars I would Phenomenal staff and scenery. The best winery in all of Hood River. Jesus turned all the water into this wine I want to buy this winery bc it is absurdly good. If you don't come here then don't come to Hood River We came here with 8 friends and all left extremely satisfied

Yelp
Nice little tasting room next to a beautiful fountain. Delicious wine and a fun atmosphere. We tasted a few wines and bought a bottle quite a fun time. The wines are a bit pricey but they will waive the $10 tasting fee if you buy. We both had a tasting for a total of $20, so they charged us $15 for a $35 bottle of wine. Not too bad. I figured they would just give us $10 off one bottle but the entire $20 off for the two tastings was a great deal. I'll be back to this place.

Yelp
Delicious. Amazing tastings. Every wine was fresh and smooth. The woman working there was delightful. I bought two bottles.

Yelp
We visited over the weekend for the Hood River Wine Walk. The tasting room is small, but was adequate. The girl working on Saturday was super nice and friendly and everything we tasted was great. We bought a bottle of the Red Sky Blend-delicious and affordable!

Conrad B.

Yelp
Really nice hostess. She even lent us a corkscrew for a different bottle of wine that we may have planned on illicitly enjoying down by the river. :) Good location, and a well-kept tasting room. Some nice crisp whites were nice after a gigantic brunch. Worth a stop if you're in town - you'll be treated real well if the [South Carolina native] hostess who took care of us is in.

Yelp
Had a great tasting here as part of the columbia gorge passport weekend. Went to 7 wineries and enjoyed this entire flight the most. They paired with a wonderful little charcuterie plate and he even gave us extra when we gobbled it all up before we got to the reds. Nice location right downtown to pop into.

Yelp
I came once before a year ago. I bought a bottle of Gewürztraminer then. Since my hubby had not come to this wine tasting room, and we were hanging around town, I suggested we make a stop. I know my hubby was going to like their whites, they are on the sweet side. The place is small, but very clean. There was a trio of ladies from Tennessee enjoying some wines. We pull up next to them since the space is fairly small. They were very nice and a little cooky. In sort of a girls gone wild trip AARP version. We tasted our wines and as expected my hubby really liked the 2010 Gewürztraminer. The tasting is only $5 for a flight of 5 wines which is waived with the purchase of the wine. We bought a bottle of the 2010 Gewurz, since the 2009 is a little too sweet even for my hubby. The thing I am noticing this year is that the people at the tasting rooms seem to be just part time employees who don't know anything about wine, or even care to comment. In previous years we could chat and talk about the different grapes and locations. It feels a little hurried now. Oh well, I'll go drink my wine and shut up.

Yelp
Tim was an awesome host, and the wine was my favorite winery of the day! First time to Hood River, and was glad we included it on our trip.

Anthony M.

Yelp
Not really my thing. A little pricey, OK wine, friendly enough staff. They really play up the organic fruit side of their wine. I'm sure some people dig this place, but not for me.
