Google
Cerveceria del Callejon is an awesome small brewery in old town. They generally have 7 or 8 of their beers on tap which they brew from a 3 barrel system. On my stop they had a French lager, saison noir, classic saison, wheat, IPA, hazy IPA, sour, and an American Strong ale. I really enjoyed all theirs beers with the hazy and strong as my favorites. It's not a super fancy place, but i really liked it. The service was super nice, it has chill atmosphere with games available to play while you enjoy their food and beer. It is a little hidden down a small alley but definitely worth the stop.

Walked by this place, wasn’t hungry but the smell pulled us in. We had to try the burger (OG Burger)

Google
It's such a great find. We love craft beer and beer on tap, so this place was excellent. We each got a different beer to try and enjoyed them all. It has a relaxed, chill vibe and is a great place to hang out and play some board/card games. If you're a fan of breweries, you'll like this place. 🍻

Google
Cute little bar with great staff, location, and local beers. We had a flight and tried all their beers, which was fun. We also enjoyed their chicken skewers with guava sauce. Jenga, dominos, and a few other games are available for guests to enjoy while visiting. Great stop if you are in old San Juan and would like to try some local brews.

Google
Tasty brews and friendly service in the heart of Old San Juan (tucked away in an alley but not hard to find). Super chill vibes (and, speaking of chill, great A/C—definitely a plus on any hot and muggy PR day) with almost a dozen different beer options, from dark stouts to classic blondes and lagers to a couple different IPAs (both hazy and non). Highly recommend for any beer lover who finds themself on the Isleta de San Juan.

Google
Awesome place with great food and drinks. We had a beer flight to try their home made beers and they were all great! The spicy korean wings and dumplings were surprisingly delicious (my husband said they were one of the best things he ate while in PR). The staff is so friendly and welcoming! Also board games available!

The beers were good and the atmosphere felt right at home.

Google
This place was such a hidden gem. The beer list was great (we got Hazy IPAs) and the food was exceptional. We got fried rice, Korean fried chicken, and dumplings. All of the food was incredible and great compliments to one another.

Yelp
Small craft brewery off an alley, easy to miss! I think this is the only craft brewery in Old San Juan.

Yelp
Great little hole in the wall brewery! Super friendly people willing to share knowledge of the beers as well as the area and other beers! Happy to have stumbled upon it! Small beer selection but it is a small brewer so to be expected.. great place definitely recommend stopping in!

Yelp
Perfect spot after a long touristy day. They brew some of their own beer. Delicious! Not much for food options, but I ordered the chicken pinchos. Woah! Delicious. Chill vibe in here. Board games for playing. Service. Great. Steps from our hotel, I wish I had found here sooner! Recommend!

Yelp
Really cool brewery located within walking distance of cruise port in Old San Juan. We stopped in after our long walk of exploring and shopping and appreciated the cold beer! the owner allowed us to try a new sour that wasnt on the tap list yet - it was delicious! My husband had a great time trying their local brews. Inside it is very clean with games available and a fun vibe. both restrooms were very clean and staff was friendly and efficient! we went in December 2023 and have recommended this brewery to two friends already who went and they loved it too!

Yelp
Really, really, really great beer! The bartender and the owner were there the first time we came in and they were so friendly. The owner gave my husband a tour of the brewing area and talked beer with him for 20 minutes. We only discovered this place on the day before leaving but we still managed to stop by two times. We didn't have any food so I can't comment on that.

Yelp
a rare find in this touristed part of san juan - a hazy i.p.a. i know - what? an actual hazy? yep. you walk about 1/3 way down this dark, cool blue cobblestone alley to a rickety, small set of stairs. up and in you go... cool dudes chatting up the patrons, knowledgeable about their wares. serving it up frosty cold with a smile. i had a 6.4 hazy - topnotes of pepper and a nice little grapefruit roll to follow check it out!

Yelp
Only 11 & 16oz pours. 5 beers on tap. Very welcoming. Initiated the conversation in spanish then switched to english when i became lost. lol. Food & beer available. I ordered the stout. Water was brought to me, w/o my asking. Halway through I was given a sample of the belgian amber as a possible follow-up & it just so happens that I was going to have that next. Then he brought out a sample of the saison & i was going to have that next also!

Yelp

Yelp
Still solid. This time I stuck with the Brebaje Exotérmico, a Belgian IPA. Last time we were here we left our son with a sitter. This time we brought him. He was entertained with all the games thhey had, like jenga, connect four, chutes and ladders, dominoes, etc... definitely kid friendly place. One thing that changed since my last update is the kitchen. The original chef left; now it's another guy. Also, the kitchen has its own name. It's called Envielto. They have their own IG page and also a Yelp page. The menu is still the same - Asian fusion. And it's still good. The only complaint I had this time around was the heat. They have A/C but our table was close to the kitchen and it was a night evening. So it got hot. We never had this issue before because it was never this busy before. Next time, if it's busy, we'll sit away from the kitchen.

Yelp
5 Stars for the staff at Cerveceria del Callejon! Friendly and hospitable! After chatting them up for awhile, they sent us packing with a handwritten list of places to try in the area. Appreciate that! The lemonade- best I have ever had! Fresh squeezed each morning with a little guava. My husband stated the beer was ok. The inside isn't much to look at. I like their attempt with some graffiti but they could do more decor wise. My kids loved the piano. They do stream football games on Sundays.

Yelp
Returned with my husband on our anniversary. We had a wonderful time. We left our son with his grandparents. It was so relaxing without a kid. We were able to enjoy our beers, eat some wings, and play a full game of scrabble. Loved it. The servers were very attentive and friendly, just like last time. This time we got the spicy wings, instead of the sweeter wings. They were good, but I preferred the sweeter ones.

Yelp
Great beer and people! Came across The spot when walking around in old San Juan I'm glad we did! Stopped in to have a couple of drinks and quality beer brewed in house! Tucked away down a road, it's a hidden gem. We ended up going with the callejon healer and the planeador pale ale. Both delicious! Santiago was so helpful and really did serve up some solid recs! Cute atmosphere and decor. Would recommend and come back next time in PR

Yelp
Amazing people and all brewed in house! Server was knowledgeable and understanding. I would definitely suggest going here if you're a beer drinker

Yelp
If you're looking for a craft brewery in Old San Juan make sure you stop by. I looked on Yelp for good beer spots and decided to give it a try. Great beer brewed in Old San Juan and a friendly staff. The Hazy IPA is awesome!! They are tucked away on an alley, but worth the find!!

Yelp
I'm so happy we found this place. Such a good vibe. The beer is amazing and the food was perfect to pair.

Yelp
One of the stops on our cruise was in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I work at a brewery back home in Nashville and my husband is an avid craft beer aficionado, so of course we had to check out this local brewery. The brewer and staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. We talked beer for a bit with them and they gave us stickers to take home with us! The beer is of course great but the food is incredible as well! Highly recommend the sausage and pretzel plate as well as the pork sandwich with fries. We devoured all of it! Very chill, low key vibe that made us feel at ease. We are on our honeymoon and are so happy we stumbled upon Cerveceria del Callejon!

Yelp
Came on a Sunday afternoon... they opened at 2:20pm (odd). We ordered a flight of all 7 beers on tap. Yum! Great service... and... KFC and fries were amazing! Shout out to Cana, Tashi and Alex! We'll be back!!!

Yelp
The beer here isn't bad. I sat outside which is nice but it's so warm in PR that sitting outside warmed up my beers too quickly. Def need to come back and sit inside.

Luis R.

Yelp
Super cool. El ambiente relax. Variada de cervezas artesanal. Los chicos que nos atendieron súper amable y conocedor de sus productos. Me gustó mucho la Casteño.

Yelp
A solid selection of beers for most beer-lovers and a nicely spacious eating area should be all you'd ask for. I think we were a little mislead by the images of great-looking food online only to find out that the kitchen closed pretty early and we were stuck with french fries to hold us over until we could find more sustenance. But the staff was helpful and they have a cohort of locals that were quick to provide their recommendations, which is always a nice indication of the quality of a place.

Yelp
It was great to find a place in Old San Juan with vegan options. The food was fantastic (veggie mandu, cucumber salad with tofu), and the beer was really good. I particularly liked the Saison Dinámica Fluida. The staff also was welcoming and friendly.

Jon B.

Yelp
Shhhh. It's a secret. This is a locals place. Hidden in an alley off San Francisco, only come here if you're from Old San Juan. Its one of the few restaurants that I can usually avoid long lines. This is not a chain restaurant. This is the cool hip locals place that only locals that have been here for a while divulge the secret. Not a huge menu, seemingly ever item selected to be outstanding. Add some good local craft beer and this place is a winner. It's a Puerto Rican bar with non-Puerto Rican food. I recommend Korean BBQ wings. Get the spicy ones. Outstanding. For beer, I like the saison. Delicious

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! We stumbled upon this place by following a rather shady sign that said "Beer and Food" and were amazed. The beer was very good, the food was spectacular, and the staff/service the very best. I would put this on my list of the top 3 places I'll come back to when I'm back in San Juan. All that being said, you may want to know that the place is small and the beer and food selection is limited (but VERY good). If you're a fan of Mandu (Korean dumplings), these are way better than anything I ever had when I lived in Korea.
google avatar

Dino S.

Yelp
No other way to describe the food but just f****** good. You should come here and bring your friends that you like.

Monica V.

Yelp
Love it. Lazy beach Sunday vibe with the music (think, light reggae - Marley fam) . Friendly staff, earth conscious (no plastic). 5 locally brewed beers. All great, but of course that depends from person to person. They have a short selection of food, but what we ordered was awesome tasting. Cucumber Salad, was yummy yummy in my tummy. The dumplings were ok and the french fries with the spicy mayo were kids approved. Go and give them a try.

Albeyra R.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Local beers and business beer is their specialty. Try the KFC, Tuna Tartare and home fries. They also have a beer sampler, so you don't miss what you'll like to order later. Recommended.

Yelp
Great service, food, and craft beers. On a busy night in Old San Juan with few other options, stumbling upon Cervecería del Callejón was an unexpected treat. Our server was so friendly and had excellent recommendations. The food was an eclectic and creative blend of asian-inspired cuisine with vegetarian-friendly options. They were accomodating to our toddler and the environment was relaxed, fun, and memorable. We'll be back!

Harsh B.

Yelp
Waited over 2 hours for food, was told the kitchen lost our ticket and that they'd try to throw something together, which after 30 minutes they said they weren't doing and weren't sure how long our food would take. Terrible service

Miguel R.

Yelp
A very good selection of Artisan beers and outstanding food entries prepared a la carte.

Viking G.

Yelp
Best Brewery in town. Great service, awesome beer and local food. Great to catch a game.

Yelp
Food was fantastic. Unique flavors and creative offerings. Service was super friendly and the atmosphere nice.

Yelp
I'm giving 2 stars because they were friendly and open on New Years Day (hardly anything was). However, this is one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. They said the wait would be 30 mins, but it was closer to an hour. There were 3 of us eating - we ordered pork dumplings, veggie dumplings, 2 KFC, and 2 fried rice. They brought out the items one dish at a time with a significant wait between dishes. My friend walked over by the kitchen to see what was taking so long and they were hand cutting items and prepping as they went. The dumplings should have been prepped way earlier in the day. The organization was majorly off. This should have taken about 20-30 mins not the 2 hours it took. The dumplings were small and burnt. The KFC was disgusting. They were dark meat (menu didn't mention this) and the chicken had not been trimmed of fat so they were grisly. The flavor was nonexistent. I ate one and was so disgusted I couldn't eat any others. The fried rice was not cooked properly. Once again it seemed like they were making the rice as people ordered. It was crunchy and not cooked all the way. Also, it had some kind of sweet sauce that it was swimming it. It was nasty. I was starved so I ate some of it, but the meal over all was horrendous. I used the restroom and it was dirty. They also did not have any soap. Would not recommend and will never go back when in San Juan.

Cindy H.

Yelp
My favorite brewery. The owner/brewer Antonio and all of the staff are friendly, engaging and fun. The beer and food just can't be:beat.
