Me and my son had a wonderful afternoon with our lovely host Roberta. We made three types of pasta and two different sauces. She was very considerate that we cooked what was our preference. I felt like a princesse sitting in her kitchen having this amazing meal. We also made Robesta’s secret Tiramisu recipe and “oh my lord” it was perfect to finish this meal. She introduced us to “Lambrusco” we had never tasted before. All together this cooking class topped our expectations👌🏻Thank you so much🫶🏻

We had a lovely shopping & cooking experience with Maurizio. He met us at the market at 10am and we shopped for cheeses, meat, fruit & bread. Like the cooking shows on tv we chatted with the vendors & got some background on the ingredients we would be using. Then a short walk to Maurizio’s beautiful apartment which was such a treat, he and his partner have such great taste. We made an appetizer , tagliatelle pasta & strawberry/lenon cake. All paired with Pignaletto wine, and then his homemade lemon cello & cherry brandy. Wow-this guy could have his own cooking show. Such modesty & excellent communication skills. His warm teaching style made both me & my partner feel 100% comfortable. I have never really cooked, so this was a first. Who knows I might be hooked? The afternoon was fun , tasty & educational. Mauricio had laid out a lovely 4.5 hour event for us, he had aprons ready for us and both still & sparkling water . What we loved most was all the equipment he had to make the pasta making effortless. We dined on his sun drenched/plant filled terrace under a nice umbrella feeling the summer breeze. We didn’t want to leave but I was looking fwd to a post lunch nap.

Had a great time learning to make a tarte, tagliatelle, and peadina. The only issue I had was with the reservation not showing where I needed to go-we had to go back to the ticket office for information. The actual class was fun and very informative.

Make a dinner reservation with Aurora Perricci, you won't be disappointed. We had a great time making 3 different types of pasta. The wine and bread she served with it was great. Her assistant, Charlotte was fun and entertaining. Make a reservation you won't be disappointed.

As I promised you on the phone, you are getting a real review so people know what they are spending their money on. I chose this activity, being twice the price of others, because I thought it would be smaller, more personable, and more authentic. Was I wrong! After waiting for 15 minutes in the abattoir absolute middle of nowhere, and having to call customer support who were also surprised I'm at a random apartment block at the edge of the city and said it would be a house, we get picked up by the host who makes us wait another 15 minutes stood on the street for the rest of the people who are running late. At this point she tells us, the four people already there that we are expecting another 6... Eventually it clicks that it is eating from our time and she takes us upstairs to her flat where it becomes obvious that space is limited - and cooking becomes one or two people making a tiramisu whilst the others are sat there watching. The pasta making was very much learning to make the dough, which was fun, but even that, how can you give 10 people attention especially when there's barely space? It took ages because it was so many of us, and she was saying oh it says 3h but it always takes longer - thank god no one had plans afterwards. By the time we are we were exhausted and everyone wanted to go. The host was a nice lady, maybe she's also a good cook but I learned very little, felt more like a lecture than a class. But my main disappointment is with how this was handled. I called the office to say this was not what was advertised and they were like oh she's got capacity of 16! Then she tells me oh they sent me 4 extra people. So someone is lying, but everyone is aware that the group is too big. And the location? The booking link shows central Bari, which is why we booked it. After we'd booked she messaged to say can you do this other location? I say no, it's miles out the city, there is no transport on that day and we don't drive. Then she had the audacity to say we're in her flat because of me and she would have taken us to the summer house instead? What. Either advertise the address first time, or make people aware it's not what you photos show so they can make up their mind. Given the profit is €900 maybe you could have even included the transport. It's a tourist trap and I highly recommend you look elsewhere.

We had a cooking class in Verona with Aurora Perricci and her assistant were amazing! The food was so incredible and she taught us how to make pasta. I would highly recommend visiting there place when here in Italy.

This was a scam! We booked a pasta making and tiramisu making class. We showed up to an apartment where the sauces were already made and the “chef” (who was actually an artist) boiled boxed pasta. The final straw was when we saw the tiramisu was already made in the refrigerator. We wanted to learn the things we paid $300 for and learned nothing. We left early due to this and they have denied us a refund despite the fact that this is not at all what we paid for. DON’T BOOK IT Edit to add: the responses from this company are not addressing my main issue: what we booked was a pasta-making and tiramisu-making class. We did not make fresh pasta or tiramisu. The tiramisu was prepped in the fridge when we arrived, and the pasta was dried out of a box. I have tried to reach out multiple times without a response. I just want a refund as we spent a lot of money on this class and it was not what was described. I can't help but also point out that our host is no where on their website, and she told us the owner is her boyfriend. Super unprofessional and terrible customer service.

My husband went to one of these events in Florence and ended up in an efficiency apartment with a woman who was raised in Brooklyn, who only demonstrated how to roll pasta and then ate lunch with him that she also shared with her dog. Didn't receive an apron nor any sort of other souvenir which was promised in the literature. Worst experience ever. And we have done a lot of things in our 70 years. Would love a refund.
