This was my first time here the service was nice and food was excellent. This was near my hotel and the place was very clean.

Google
Grrrrrreat food and great unpretentious service. Authentic Peruvian food at a local restaurant in our backyard! If you want to impress your date, there are a ton of places in Brickell, but if you care about good food, here is the place. I went there once to take a friend who wanted ceviche and now it has become my favorite restaurant. Strongly recommended!

I ordered the Pollo a La Plancha and it was great! Only thing was they didn’t have black beans and I got white beans 🤔😂 but they were actually yummy!

Google
Best Authentic Peruvian restaurant. Will definitely come back to this amazing place. Owner is the chef. I had Aji de Gallina, ceviche and lomo saltado.

Google
Grate experience, good food, good service. No complains . Will definitely recommend

Google
Regular homemade food. Well priced for lunch specials. Great presentation. Some recomendations: Service can be a bit friendly. A clean wall decor will makes a better place to eat and chat. Switch music genre and increase lighting will make such a difference in the environment.

Google
This is my close to home go to Peruvian place. The quality of the food is top notch. My dish of choice is the lomo saltado but have tried other plates here. The chicha morada is great and made in house. Also the suspiro limeño dessert is really delicious. Definite must have for someone with a super sweet tooth. There is free parking in the rear although limited depending of the time of day. The restaurant ambience is relaxing.

Yelp
I just came back from a long road trip (14+ hr) with my dad and we were in the mood for Peruvian food. We're visiting family nearby and we managed to find this place and decided to try it. It's lunch time so I'm assuming lunch menu and so forth, the norm for restaurants of this type. We come in and the restaurant looks like your typical modern joint, nothing to differentiate it other than some minimal Peruvian photography. It's just a cut and dry looking atmosphere. Anyways, we're here for the food. We are approached by a waiter who passes us the menu. My dad and I start asking about some items and it seems like they were out of stock on the items in particular we wanted. He then went on to describe over half the menu being out of stock currently at lunch. This being our first time at this restaurant, that's pretty depressing. The prices for the area are already surprising on their own but we're hungry. We go ahead and order. I forgot to add a small side of a sauce and unfortunately since debit/credit minimum is $10, I can't even get a side of hot sauce to go with my plate. That's so bizarre, and the portion sizes vs the cost is blown out of proportion. What the hell is wrong with Miami now a days Overall, I'm unsatisfied with the way I can't get that sauce, the pricing on the food vs portion size, the environment. I suggest find better cuisine by little Havana or farther but not this place!

Yelp
This is a local place, nothing really fancy, but I found the food here to be absolutely delicious. The ceviche was fresh and a large portion.

Yelp
Food is good but overpriced. And then they bring you the bill with a 20% tip automatically added. Thanks but no thanks, you're not that good.

Ines S.

Yelp
Excelente!!! El lomo saltado delicioso la carne suave el sabor muy rico y El seco Seniorial suave el cordero y el sabor esquizito. La verdad un 5 se lo merece el chef. El ambiente acogedor y limpio.

Scarlette G.

Yelp
Best lomo saltado I've ever had. Great Peruvian food, bit pricey but worth it. Tried a few Peruvian beers, waiter was really nice and recommending plates. An overall good meal and experience.

Yelp
So my overall experience is worthy of 3 stars for now. I will go back and give the place another shot as the food was really good, but the 3 star experience comes from the service. Now I know we were big party, but it took over an hour to get our food. Not even the soup that comes with the lunch special had come out. Service was disappointing. Now the food was great! When it finally came out I dove into a wonderful lunch special of two selections of ceviche and arroz de Marisco. Both were really good! Everything fresh and it was a lot too. Their menu has Peruvian food covered hence why I'll give this place a shot again.

Yelp
la mejor comida que probé les recomiendo todo es muy delicioso le recomiendo los ceviches las carnes y casi todo los platos son muy ricos

Yelp
We stopped by here because it has free parking out back and we love Peruvian cuisine. The tiradito was was tasty and great presentation. The tacu tacu de lomos presentation was nice, the tacu tacu was delicious, however the meat was a little chewy for our taste. The suspiro was tasty but was too cold to enjoy the full taste. Overall the service was okay. We'll have to stop by another time for another try.

Yelp
Can't believe this place doesn't have 5 stars! It is well deserved!! I ordered the lomo saltado and arroz chaufa de marisco and wowww !! The lomo was so tender and full of flavor and the arroz chaufa de marisco was unbelievable! Beautiful presentation. Homey comfort food. Definitely coming back!!

Yelp
We live one block from this restaurant and we always said we were going to try it but we always see it empty so we were always doubting. I love ceviche to be honest so when some friends were there we decided to meet them and give it a try. We ordered the mixed ceviche and the shrimp soup... We hate to say that none of them were good. The ceviche looked it was prepared minutes before bringing to the table because the fish was completely hard to eat. I wish they would have tell me they didn't have it available I would have ordered something else. I was ashamed to return it since our friends said their rice and potatoes were good and it was the first time going out with them. My stomach was hurting for hours afterwards. The shrimp soup was imposible to eat. The shrimp were not peeled so we have to grab them with our hands and un peeled them and put them back in the soup. Not enjoyable at all. Plus the shrimps were over cooked/really hard to chew. Service was good but unfortunately the food is a no no. Sorry guys :(

Yelp
Las chicas que atienden son de buena atención pero el dueño es un atorrante y mal educado, no vuelvo más

Alexandra A.

Yelp

Yelp
First time in this Restaurant,Food it's good, customer service not good at all, if you don't like your work do something else. They include the Tip 18% for 4 person including my baby. We ordered 3 full plates . By Law you cannot include Tip counting a baby.

Yelp
there is legit no better peruvian food in miami than this place! this is a hidden gem! The quinoa chaufa, the octopus appetizer and the ceviche are a must try! dont let the appearance of this place fool you, this should be on your top 5 restaurants in miami!

Yelp
I drive past this location weekly, and have never stopped in until a colleague mentioned the same thing. Then we made it a point to come here last Friday for lunch! We were out within an hour and change, so not exactly quick, but a good place to have a business lunch by the looks of most of the tables dining near us. There is a shared parking lot behind the restaurant, though there are a few street parking spots in front of and to the side of this place. I really liked the lunch menu, which offered two (smaller than standard) dishes for a flat $16 rate. I was able to try a ceviche and a seafood chaufa, and the portions did not disappoint - my colleague went home with leftovers, though I chose instead to shovel it all down and drink my ceviche's lime juice. 'nough said, the food was worth it! Bonus: they brought out two sauces, green and red (I don't know what they're called, but the red one was spicier so likely rocoto-based) that went really well with the ceviche! Service was otherwise a little slow, and waters were not refilled the entire meal, but the restaurant was clean, and from where I sat, I could see into the window of the kitchen and it was awesome to see the bustle.

Yelp
The food used to be much better, now the quality has gone down, the prices went up & the service isn't as good anymore. I used to come here all the time. I recently went and they charged $15 extra to have causa with white fish. The lady said the corvina fish is $15 extra on top of the price of the causa and swai fish is no charge so we said the one with no charge. She ended up giving us the more expensive one and charged us the extra $15 and then we said we didn't want that but she said we asked for that and I had to fight her that we did not. Also the fish tasted like swai anyways, did not taste like the more expensive corvina. I had ceviche with swai and it was the same fish as the causa so I knew she lied about the fish. And now they also charge extra fees, I had to pay to get a to go box??? Why am I paying extra for a plastic box to get my food to go?? Never going back and hope no one gets the same experience I did

Yelp
Good traditional Peruvian food, always order more than necessary it's worth it. Convenient parking

Yelp
The food is not all that. If I can post 0 stars, I would. We only finished because we were starving. The service sucked. The waitress couldn't even suggest anything. I was asking her for recommendations but she wasn't having it. It was empty, for a Friday. That should have been a hint but we wanted to give it a chance. Asked for a high chair, never bRought it. Overall, place sucked! Never coming back!

Yelp
Very good food. Fresh and well prepared.Lomo saltado is very good and I love that the restaurant is never super crowded. Plates are big. Their pasta plates are also good, I ordered the lomo fettuccine and it was very good as well. Ceviche is fresh and tastes good. Only improvement is the service which is kinda slow.

David B.

Yelp
I call and order and (ají de gallina) one of the most popular dishes and they told me it was going to take 25 minutes; when i arrived my order wasn't ready and 25 minutes ended on 45 minutes and the staff was a little be rude; I don't feel welcome at all... Food is good but no customer service whatsoever.

Alisa M.

Yelp
We went to this place twice and won't come back never again! The 1st time the service was terrible, the waitress had horrible attitude and it was impossible to communicate with her. The food was fine. Today we decided to give this place a 2nd chance and it was the biggest mistake. The server was nice, but the food was really bad. We ordered causa con pollo, 2 papas a la huancaina, aji de gallina, and 3 ceviches pescado. We waited for the food over 45min, for ceviche more than an hour and the restaurant was complete empty. All food didn't have any flavor, especially I was disappointed with ceviche. The fish was just cut and put into the lemon sauce, it was just not ready, it was hard to chew and on top of that I got fish bones in the first piece I bite and of course didn't have any desire to continue eat the dish like that. We tried to return at least this one ceviche, but didn't have the luck. We heard how owner was screaming at the waitress at the kitchen when she asked him about possibility to return. We head him screaming many times bad words during our dinner here! And it's absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional!! There are 100 Peruvian restaurants in Miami, I totally recommend NEVER to go here! It's expensive, the food is terrible and the place itself is horrible. P.s after all I checked my bill and noticed that they overcharged me for ceviches, it was $16.99 in the menu, but they charged me more than $20, they also charge me for the plastic containers‍

El R.

Yelp
Take out order? Not ready when you arrive if not paid ahead of time so don't bother calling ahead of your arrival
google avatar

Ryan V.

Yelp
Have seen how the restaurant have change since their beginnings. Food always has been really good. Is authentic Peruvian food, flavorful and really tasty, it's a mom and pops. Not your typical new Peruvian restaurants that change the flavors to the miami taste. Service has to improve but they are doing a great job
google avatar

Carlos F.

Yelp
I've been coming to this place for countless years. The food and service is consistently good and the parking is easy, which is a rarity and refreshing this close to Brickell. Everyone I have introduced to the restaurant becomes a repeat customer. It's my go-to when in the area and craving honest down to earth Peruvian soul food.
google avatar

Caroline C.

Yelp
This place's customer service is non existent... Don't bother!!! Too many other good Peruvian restaurants in Miami... when they learn that you are also paying for service when you buy food at any restaurant they will do themselves a favor. I never, ever give bad reviews because being in customer service myself I understand anyone can have a bad day. But the staff at this place has been consistently rude which will cost them customers that would have returned if they had at least acceptable customer service.
google avatar

Jackie M.

Yelp
this is a little gem right outside of downtown/brickell/gables vicinity. looks like a whole in the wall from the outside, but inside, it greats you w a warm, cozy, family ambiance...ive eaten here many times and it's never overcrowded or loud. i normally get the lomo saltado, which never ever fails to satisfy, both in taste and potion size...i've had the chaufa de pollo, ceviche tradicional & causa de pollo, which are always delicious as well. the food hear has never, ever disappointed...service is attentive and speedy and price point is beyond reasonable...they will have my patronage for years to come.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
I ate at the restaurant and ordered delivery. The food is delicious! The lomo salteado and the ceviche de pescado is amazing. I also loveee there green hot sauce.
google avatar

Veronica M.

Yelp
Been coming here since they opened. I love their traditional menu, elevated presentation and just plain delicious food! If you're looking for a down to earth , family owned and operated Peruvian restaurant, try El Señorial. I recommend the causa sampler and any of the ceviches.
google avatar

Erica M.

Yelp
Hands-down the best ceviche in Miami. This is our go to spot, and it never disappoints! It is a total hole in the wall spot, but very nice looking inside and always quiet.
google avatar

Jose G.

Yelp
We were in the area and found this place on Yelp! The reviews were good, so we decided to try it for lunch. It did not disappoint! We had the fish ceviche and the ceviche mixto - they were both tasty and definitely fresh. I was in Lima recently, and this ceviche had a taste of authenticity to it - tasted just like Lima ceviche! The good kind, too! We also had a side of tostones, which was right on point - not too crisp, not too soft. It wasn't real busy, so the service was great; our waitress was attentive and stayed on top of things at all her tables. Definitely recommend if you live in or visit that area of Miami, and are craving authentic Peruvian ceviche! Tip - the parking lot is behind the restaurant! No need to pay street meter at $3 an hour. Cheers!

Joaquin D.

Yelp
We ordered some food and we never received. The manager didn't resolve the issue and said it wasn't his fault. Incredible answer., they didn't try to solve our problem
google avatar

Virginia S.

Yelp
Great food! The location is not ideal so I'm sure that's why it only has 34 reviews and 3 stars! Don't let that stop you. We had the ceviche norteño and it was tasty! The price is comparable to other Peruvian restaurants but the portion was HUGE and the fish was FRESH!

Charlie A.

Yelp
I have been a long time client of this place but my experience in the past 6 months has been horrible. 1. The girl who takes your order has the worst possible attitude in the planet! How can people like this get away working in the service industry. 2. All of my last 3 orders- just normal ceviche and lono salteado have take about 1 hour and 25 min. 3. Today I wanted to give it one more chance, I order and the same sh1tty attitude lady tells me it wil be ready in 30 min. I show up 40 min later, she says there oven not working if I could give them 20 more minutes--not even an apology , just basically "take it ir leave it". U say fine and go put gas in my car. I come back and she basically laughs at me and says "its not ready yet, i need another 20 minutes." I immediately cancelled my ordered, she shrugged her shoulders and said "ok" HORRIBLE SERVICE! You would think that with all the brand new ceviche places this place would strive for better service. On the contrary, it gets worst everytime. Its official, this place has lost a 14 year old costumer. I want to reiterate the NASTY Attitude of the lady who takes your orders. Horrible!

Tatiana R.

Yelp
Food is horrible! I tried tallarín saltado with bistec. And I couldn't even eat the bistec it was really bad! And the worst part is that the server didn't even care ! Please do yourself a favor and avoid going to this place!

Yelp
Just drove all the way over here for dinner and it's closed til August 6th. Should update hours.

Yelp
Great Peruvian food! Very good service and they have a great promotion through Yelp! Enjoy!
google avatar

Andrés D.

Yelp
One of the best Peruvian places in Miami, and definitely the most authentic one. Service is excellent, and the food was perfect, particularly the Ají de gallina. Lomo saltado is also highly recommended.

Lynette R.

Yelp
Very great food. My waitress was attentive she even tried to save me money by telling me that it was a huge portion n me and my friend should eat it together .
google avatar

Tezla V.

Yelp
Why advertise that you have delivery when you actually don't have delivery. My order was canceled, now I have to wait 5 to 10 days to see my money back.
google avatar

Rocio P.

Yelp
This place is great. Simple, inexpensive, yummy and quick service. I consider it a gem. The food isn't the best Peruvian food I've had but it does the trick and the portions are absolutely perfect for lunch. The waitstaff is always friendly and you can be in and out in under an hour. I guess I'd knock off a star because you can definitely get better Peruvian food elsewhere.

Alisha G.

Yelp
Very good food and good portion sizes. We have ordered multiple times and they don't disappoint. Will keep ordering from them.

Yelp
I love anticucho but everything taste good. Peruvian beer cusquena my favorite also available and there is parking at the back and Main Street. Quiet place and fast service.

Yelp
To Whom It May Concern: I placed an order for delivery on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 and it was a complete disappointment. The restaurant is located within 4.5 miles of us and it took you an hour and a half to arrive with cold food. The churrasco was spicy for some reason, to the point that it was inedible. We ordered two lomo saltados, both of which were on the salty side. The food was horrible! In attempting to contact management for a refund, I was told that the manager on the floor was busy... cooking...? Is this how you run a restaurant? There's no manager to deal with customer service issues? Fine... I asked the hostess to please convey my urgency in getting this resolved and I had the displeasure of speaking with a rude, unprofessional manager: Edgar Parra. He hardly let me finish a sentence and was completely belligerent over the phone. All Mr. Parra heard was that my delivery was an hour and a half late; he heard nothing about the food being terrible, despite my best efforts to communicate this. He blamed the delivery company for my disappointment and said they would be responsible for issuing a refund. Frankly, I don't care who issues the refund, as long as I get my money back and promptly. In my opinion, this was solely the restaurant's responsibility because the food was bad. Waiting an hour and a half for great food isn't ideal but I would not be disputing the bill. Waiting an hour and a half for bad food is unacceptable and the basis of my refund request. UPDATE: I got in contact with Mr. Edgar Parra at around 3 p.m. this afternoon, March 26th and he informed me that I should be ashamed of myself for seeking reimbursement on a terrible meal, followed-up with the worst customer service. Can you believe this guy threatened to call the cops on me when I informed him that I would be disputing the charges with my bank? GREAT way to treat a first-time customer, right?... Never again!... Yelp
4/2010 update - what is up with the service lately? It's bad enough it went from warm bread to crackers a while back, but don't let me down. Still has the best jalea in town and ceviche..but PLEASE, don't let me down anymore!! I don't want to think that great big heart and passion that gave us great service and outstanding food when you first opened is fizzling away. Remember how you started, and why you are where you are now. __________________________________ Been coming here since before they had tables and chairs. Good Ceviche and Tiradito. Nice portioned Jalea, Pescado a lo Macho, a la Chorrillana and decent lunch specials. I've met the family who runs the restaurant on several occasions for many years, since we live close by and frequent it every now and then. They're very kind people and always courteous enough to take the time to come out and say hello -- even if we haven't eaten there in months!
google avatar

Andres N.

Yelp
The worst food and service ever. I will never go back to this place. They wanted to charge $3 for a little cup of canchita... And when I go to Ceviche 105 you can get as much as you want at no cost. The manager was very rude. This place was definitely the worst experience ever.
google avatar

Al P.

Yelp
Average food, the classic Peruvian dishes and decent prices. That makes it worth 3 stars. Service is rude, two girls with no experience, not interested in making a good tip, careless and deserves no stars. Also, the place charges tip in your bill, but the credit card slip comes with a field for tip and not for "Additional Tip", imagine that they don't deserve the mandatory tip, I would never leave an additional one. Be careful with that.
google avatar

Kiki L.

Yelp
I wish I could do NO star! Arghhh Since we live close and wanted to have a low key night we decided to try this place because we always drive by. Anyhoo, worst decision ever!! Food was bad, service was even worse. They acted like we were bothering them! The quality of the seafood was decent, but I really wasn't crazy about the sauces except for the ones on the table.
