Casual food truck with covered outdoor seating dishing up seafood and cocktails.
"You might not expect to find some of the city’s best seafood in a dusty lot just south of the airport, but stepping into the semi-enclosed patio feels like a portal to somewhere more tropical than Austin. The Sinaloan-style ceviche is bright, tart, and packed full of fresh seafood, and it works especially well when added to an order of freshly shucked oysters. Show up for the oysters preparados, but you can’t go wrong with shrimp cocktail, aguachiles, and excellent fish tacos. " - nicolai mccrary
"A small part of us is glad that Ceviche Love isn’t closer to central Austin, because if it were we’d probably eat their lime-dressed Sinaloan style ceviche for about 50% of our meals—it’s bright, tart, and packed full of fresh seafood. Another 25% of our meals would probably be spent with their oyster preparados—raw gulf oysters topped with ceviche—and we’d reserve the last quarter eating nuts and fruits to help bring our mouths back to a suitable PH. Instead, we’ll have to save those delicious moments for when we find ourselves out near COTA, because we haven’t successfully made a trip out there without a Ceviche Love pit stop. "Unless you live near the COTA racetrack, you’ll likely need to make a little trek to get to Ceviche Love. This is among the best ceviche in town, and it’s best enjoyed over a crispy tostada or in an order of oysters preparados, where the crispy corn base gets replaced with a dozen fresh-shucked Gulf oysters. It’s worth the trip, and once you’re finally there, you’ll find yourself in a large, covered patio away from everything else, making the whole experience feel like dining in a tiny tropical oasis. "Ceviche Love is located near the Circuit of the Americas track, meaning that anyone who lives in South, Central, or North Austin is probably not going to pass this trailer on their way home from work. It’s worth the detour.
"Ceviche Love is a seafood-focused food trailer located in a lot out near the ABIA South Terminal. They do ceviche, of course, but they also have a variety of aguachiles, seafood tacos, and oysters. You can get the ceviches on their own or in tostada form, but either choice ends with you and a small mountain of fresh seafood—the portions are huge. We’re also big fans of the oysters preparados here. They come covered in shrimp ceviche and salsa verde, in what just might be our new favorite way to eat oysters." - raphael brion, adele hazan, nicolai mccrary
