CG Burgers

About 10 years ago at lunch time I tried CG Burgers On Military in Jupiter. It took a long time to get a burger and it was unremarkable. I never went back until this week. It was worse. I ordered 2 burgers and 2 orders of onion rings for take out. The onion rings and burger buns were soaking wet with grease. The onions rings were tipped unside down in the bag. See 2 pics. The onion rings look more like glazed donuts instead of crispy onion rings. They tasted as bad as they look. I don't know how they have a 4 star rating. Never again for me.

Chicken fingers had all crust and we're tough to chew. Honey mustard sauce was watery and Parmesan garlic fries were soggy. Very disappointed. Left most of it and will not be back 😱

Tonight I put in a curbside order for 5:45pm for 2 burgers, 1 regular fry, 1 zucchini fry, one chocolate shake, and one strawberry shake. First they never came out and I waited till 6:05 because I figured it was Friday night and they were probably slammed (which they were not they only had two tables inside and both had their orders) and I wasn't doing curbside because I am lazy I am handicapped and carrying all that food is a challenge. So after waiting till 6:05pm I go in, wait in line, and when they get to me and go to grab my food it is sitting on the prep table in the back. I then asked about our shakes and I was told they were backed up a while. By this point it was 6:10 and so I waited another 15 mins to get my shakes. I even said to the kid that was taking orders that by the time my shakes came out my food would cold and he just kind of shrugged. I would've made them remake it, but I had to get back before visiting hours were over. The burger toppings were on the wrong burgers, but the burger had good flavor even cold, the fries were soggy, and the zucchini fries were good even though ice cold. We spent almost $55 dollars for a hot meal and it was terrible. We have come here many times and this was just a waste of money and time.

Kevin is absolutely amazing! I come here to eat weekly and was never previously offered to become a rewards member and my first time I received an $8 reward. He also bragged about other locations and their market which I never knew existed! It’s great to see someone like Kevin in customer service as it is so hard these days to find good help. I have been in the restaurant business for 20 years now. Kevin went above and beyond his job requirement for the guests satisfaction alone. I am truly impressed. The food was delicious as always!

We ordered the burger and the buffalo chicken sandwich. Both were good portions, hot and tasty. The burger was a bit dry to my liking but still good. The fries were hot too. Service was very good and atmosphere enjoyable.

Kevin was absolutely incredible!!! He gave me so much information not only about the restaurant and food but also about their membership program and the market they have near by that is open every day. Without this information I would never know that I could go shopping and earn money back. And it's a decent amount of money back too! I spent $30 and got $5 back. That's amazing! Kevin is so friendly and goes above and beyond to deliver the best hospitality for his guests!! Thank you Kevin!!

Carmine knows burgers!! Always top service, food, and value. The $5 weekday deals are excellent. The salad bar is fantastic, and they have 2 Coca Cola Freestyle machines. Something for everyone; burgers, chicken, fish, salads, and quality draft beer and great wines.

Really enjoyed CG Burgers! Hubby took me here as a surprise (he knows I love burgers) and thought it was cool because CG are my initials. I had a plain jane cheeseburger (that's how I like mine) and a delicious chocolate milkshake. I left CG feeling very satisfied! It's a popular spot so it gets crowded fast - but that's a good thing. Would definitely come back, give CG a try!

Best burgers in town with hand made milkshakes and fries today was national Oreo day so I had Oreo shake! Song comes to mind! Music inside, outdoor seating ample parking. Front desk order taker needs to smile and make eye contact with customers.

Place is a ghost town. A single burger, fries and a drink was $21. The fries are good. The coke was cold. But there's no way that's "prime" meat - it was mealy and still reminds me of Wendy's (and i know, Wendy's is delicious, but it's also like 50% less). No chance this place is making money.

CG Burgers is a really the perfect choice for a great burger. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Everything was cooked perfectly. Give the garlic parm fries a try.

We had a good lunch here as the family wanted burgers... and they were hungry. Everyone ordered something different and liked what they got. It took a bit to get our food but it was 6 of us ordering at once. Plus two other couples that wanders in at the same time. My husband had their farmhouse burger. It had Gorgonzola cheese and onion rings on it; two got the Cuban burger with ham and cheese on it; the breakfast burger with a fried egg; one of the gals had a brie grilled cheese; and I tried their mahi tacos. The fish tacos were quite good. I opted for no cotija cheese. There were 3 large tacos in the order -- each with a nice sized grilled filet of fish and some pico de gallo. I'd order these again. We also tried and liked their sweet potato fries. I heard the zucchini fries were good but didn't try them. Drinks are self serve from the machine. You order and pay at the counter and they bring your food to you. Overall, it was a good option for teenagers who wanted some thing fast but was a step up from the usual fast food.

My first visit at this hip looking burger place. Counter ordered or food sat ourselves and high top table not comfortable at all. classic burger was good, small but good. Side of fries for $7 is ridiculous as is $19 for 8 wings?!! I will not return. Service was attentive and friendly.

What a shame! This place used to be so great! I heard it changed owners and after a failed attempt on a taco bar and then sadly removing what once was a great salad bar, this place hardly stands a chance! I made the mistake of trying to give it another shot after bloodwork today and sadly it will be my last visit! Paper thin burger patty's with way too much topping to make up for the lack of meat, under cooked zucchini fries and HORRIBLE service left me wishing I had my FIFTEEN dollars back to go spend at Five Guys!

The best veggie burger around. Quick service. The portion size is great and the quality even better. I recommend the zucchini fries with ranch.

Unbelievably pricey. For 2 burgers, 2 sides and 2 drinks it cost $49. Exciting looking menu but nothing exceptional about the burgers (size wise or the way they were cooked). Didn't ask how we wanted them done. The counter clerk could have been a robot - not helpful and didn't seem to want to be there. All-in-all money poorly spent.

Got the Cuban burger and Parmesan garlic fries. Totally average, though the Cuban didn't really stand out as a Cuban to me. Couldn't really taste the ham. It was fine, though maybe cause someone bought it for me I had less expectation.

I'm bummed that I can't rate this place higher than 3 stars. The meat on all sandwiches/burgers had such small proportions. There just wasn't enough meat and I left feeling hungry. However the garlic parm and zucchini fries were excellent. The chocolate milkshake was okay...nothing special. I wont be back and I certainly wouldn't recommend coming here if you are hungry.

A nice casual spot for burgers, fries and shakes. Large variety of burgers including turkey and vegetarian, chicken sandwiches and wings. Great fried zucchini and onion rings. Order at counter and they bring you your food.Family-friendly.

Overpriced burgers served by grumpy staff, but ther decor is nice. This place cannot compete with five guys or habit burger. They do have a nice restaurant and serve beer. Onion rings were over-battered, so greasy. Burgers were overcooked (dry) and minimal portions. $40 dinner for two and I had to stand to order. I won't be back.

Walked in and 2 "teens" at the register just stared at me. I asked for the special for Monday, was told there is no special anymore on Monday then I was just stared at again. It was like they were zombies! They had nothing to offer and just were silent and stared at us? We turned around and left It was a terrible experience?!! This place is off the list now!!

This place has a variety of burger items to choose from, I practically love the turkey burger with their fresh cut sweet potato fries or the famous zucchini fries!!! If you are not in the mood for burgers and fries don't worried they have an excellent salad bar, loaded with fresh lettuce, veggies, cheeses, olives and an array of salad dressings. Very laid back restaurant,. Seat yourself, your food is brought to you quickly and freshly made. They have indoor/ outdoor seating with plenty of space for small and large parties. Great location for lunch, dinner and very kid friendly! FYI: they have that cool coke machine with a 1000 different flavors! I totally love that thing! Go ahead stop by! Enjoy!!!

We can't say enough about our Monday night dinners at CG Burgers on Military Trail in Jupiter. $5 fresh, hot juicy burgers on fresh brioche rolls with 2 dozen free toppings to choose from (love their grilled onions) plus $1 extra for the premium toppings. Other nightly specials attached in the photos. The onion rings were really good. Not breaded, but battered and uniquely different. It was like an onion ring met a zeppoli. Sweet and savory. Fries are great! We asked for them hot and crispy. Great happy hour. I think it was 50% off bottled beers. Maybe 3-6pm? Ask for details. The inside was nicely air conditioned and has clean tables and bathrooms. Employees still wore masks as of 5/24/21. We chose to sit outside. But the main reason we come back is because of the staff. Brothers Taylor and Justin are just about the nicest and hardest working 20-somethings we've met in a long time. And no, we are not related to them. Just really good young adults. Great place for us for weekday dinners. Consistently good. Enjoy!

Strange place... when you walk in and see booths and a bar you expect there might be some level of service? I would say the service is abysmal, but that really is not accurate. It just doesn't exist. My wife and I sat at the bar there last night, put in an order for 2 burgers and I ordered a draft beer. The guy at the bar asked if it was for here or to go? I said, "for here". I realize now that everything here is treated like a to go order. They brought out our burgers and set them in front of us, along with my pint, and then to my surprise they already rang up the order and put the bill in front of me too. My plan was to sit at the bar and have a few drinks, but apparently that's not their plan. They have lots of folks standing around with black Carmine's hats on, but apparently all they know how to do is take orders (mostly phone orders) and put food/bills in front of people. There appears to be no actual bartender working the bar. There's a guy standing around doing nothing over at the Taco bar though! The burgers that we ordered medium were overcooked. I'm afraid if I tried something medium-rare or rare, it might come out raw. The ingredients are great, but the cooking staff seems to have no clue on how long to cook things? While I was at the bar I noticed some chicken wings brought out that looked dark brown to black, so I guess the "overcook everything" cook was on duty this Friday night. The burgers weren't cheap, like 8-9 bucks and came with no sides at all? I was expecting at least some fries or chips, but fries are like a $4-5 side order add-on. I asked a manger-looking lady if we could order from a taco bar they had just setup in the front, and apparently if sitting at the bar or a table you have to walk over to this extra area and pay separately to assemble a taco? It's a shame, because I really want to like this place... but they don't know how to cook their food (others complain well-done comes out rare) their restaurant has a sports-bar type look and feel when you walk in, but the service is on par with what you could expect at any fast food restaurant. They have a salad bar and a taco bar, not even sure how you buy a salad... you have to pay at a separate register for the taco bar. I mean I may give it one more shot in a month or two... just to see if they have corrected anything regarding service, how to cook food (the ingredients and recipes do seem good!), and maybe decided what type of restaurant they actually want to be. This is the goofiest business model I have seen in operation at a... I don't even know what you call it: burger bar / taco bar / salad bar / fast food chain / sports bar?

Our group ordered burgers and fries and we agreed that the quality of products was not what we expected. We have been going to this place for many years when my mother was getting treated at the medical office nearby. We returned and the burgers were priced too high for what we received. The only thing that seemed better was renovation. The people taking our order were very courteous too. Hopefully, management can send "secret shoppers" to get their opinion.

Local contractor who enjoys a good served lunch once a week or so. Today they Served me a rubber chic sand for lunch. I took one bite and spit it out. Sweet pot fries were food. Staff are bunch of entitled millennials. Who act like I'm bothering them the last two times I went in. Didn't offer me my $ back from sand. When I asked it took forever to give me back my cash$. Not debit. Again like I was bothering them. They jumped the shark in my book. Tooooo many other restos in the area for this kind of service and attitude. You were good for a while now it's time for me to take my appetite elsewhere. Posting pix to verify they actually charged me for my fries after the rubber sandwich debacle.

Stopped in right as they opened for lunch. Burgers are great and staff was extremely friendly! Highly recommend! Fries could be a bit more seasoned but overall 4/5 burger place with a great atmosphere.

My Family and I went here. They have delicious burgers, and great fries. We weren't to fond of the shakes though, they were very thin. But great service and people are friendly. But bathrooms, and outside aren't clean.

We love this place! Their original oven roasted wings are so tasty & crispy that we have only tried them & some sides. The fries & onion rings are delicious & the milk shakes are too. I would recommend that people try this place & I think that they will love it too.

We love CG! The Brie grilled cheese is my absolute favorite when we go! So much flavor the Brie and bacon with the relish and arugula make for the perfect mouth watering sandwich! The sweet potato fries are the best! I always end up having to bring some home because you get so many, they are just as good reheated in the oven! This was the first time my bf ordered the farmhouse burger and it was really good, lots of flavor, a little over cooked but that's a simple mistake. The milkshakes at cg are good but I think a little overpriced for the amount you get. The Philly is also good, but again the grilled cheese is the actual best!

3.5 A perfectly acceptable spot if you need a burger fix. The kitchen is nothing special, but gets the job done. Friendly and helpful staff. Salad bar is also perfectly acceptable. Outdoor seating (by the back) on a nice day is an improvement over the cavernous, air conditioned dining room.

This place is quick and easy and inexpensive. Great burgers and sides. The desserts are really fun too!

Wow. Wow. Wow. I don't even know where to begin and it's a shame I didn't take any pictures. I've never been to a place that was more military friendly than this restaurant. I'm utterly shocked at how friendly everyone was and how delicious the food is. Grass fed beef and turkey burgers and zucchini fries ?!?' Just so many options!! The owner robin even reached out to my group and I to see how we enjoyed the food and to thank us for our service. I am definitely bringing my employees here next Friday!

Usually don't take time to write reviews, but I'm so angry....I live in the area; I pass CG burgers everyday. I'm 53, a school teacher. I work full time, and live alone. Just to give you an idea of my profile. Tonight I decided to try CG Burgers. From the moment I walked in, I wished I hadn't. It was a slow night-Tuesday. I sat at the bar for 10 minutes waiting to be noticed and watched 3 servers floundering around. One of them was picking his nose! I ordered a Farmhouse Burger; . The server approached me from behind, reached around me and slapped my food down on the bar. It was startling. (I'm not making this up, the couple next to me commented on it). The burger was very very average. The service was so bad it was amusing. There was a woman manager who seemed to be filling in and training staff. She asked me, "Do you need help?" (my wine glass was empty...btw the wine sux). What sounds more pleasant: "Would you like another glass of wine?" or, "Do you need help?" The couple sitting next to me was cracking up. They asked me, "Are you choking?" Don't waste your time or $$ to try this place out. It's a LOSER. There is an AMAZING RESTAURANT and bar: NITROGEN Bar and Grill in Jupiter at 6779 Indiantown Road ; very special, and well worth a few extra dollars. See you there!

My name is Samantha and when I went there I got awesome food awesome food and I was at a trampoline park for my birthday party and after dinner I went there and they got me food and yeah and I had just my birthday party dinner there and it was really fun it's just a really great place to eat dinner

While I love the food here, it is beyond aggravating that they are always out of fountain drinks. I'm diabetic and am limited to sugar free options and for the 3rd time, they've run out- poor management.

Ate here for lunch had the Thursday special - philly cheesecake for $5. It was pretty good! And the sweet potato fries were excellent. Really favorable and light. Had a vanilla milkshake for dessert with Oreos and Reese's. Decedent and highly recommend. Service was fast but the restaurant wasn't crowded. Would definitely come back for lunch.

I go there often and I've never had issues. I got the farmhouse burger, no onion ring, no bun, add grilled onion. I work about 10 min from the store. When I got back to work I opened the order and see there is no blue cheese. I called the store to complain and seek a resolution. Not only did they not apologise for the burger being made incorrect, they said "we don't know what we can do. But mention this next time and we'll give you, I don't know, an extra side of blue cheese" What's upsetting me is that they did not apologise for the mistake, and their resolution sounded made up on the spot. It's like $1 to add blue cheese to your order, I feel like the LEAST they could've done is offer me $1 my next time there. But oh well, whatever I guess.

CG Burgers were so kind and helpful to us about our food allergy needs. The manager went out of her way to accommodate us. It was such a great experience and the burgers were delicious!

I love CG Burgers! Service is great, food is great! I always order a burger but their Salad Bar looks fantastic, will try it next time. Their prices are reasonable, it will average almost $15 per person if ordering a complete meal (side and drink)

Ordered take out, out of hot dogs and couldn't get my order right, repeated multiple times. Waited over 15 minutes from when my food was put under the heat lamp to when it was given to me. My shakes were up right away so they were water by the time I got the food. Disappointing

I love this place. I haven't found a better burger place around. Priced very well and the salad bar is on point. Burger are the perfect size and you won't leave on an empty stomach.

This was my favorite burger place in Jupiter but more recently the quality of meat has gone downhill. I would go as far as to say it is no longer the fresh chopped meat from a special ranch that they headlined for so long. All my burgees came back well. Perfectly shaped horribly tasting patties and the fries are soggy grease sticks. Not worth $26 for two burgers and fries.

CG Burgers is a difficult place to rate without some real qualifying footnotes. As the name implies, the restaurant specializes in hamburgers but offers wings, chicken, hot dogs, and has a very nice salad bar loaded with items. More on the salad bar later. The food at CG Burgers is very good. The basic single or Wagyu Beef are terrific. In my opinion, they are significantly better than say, a Duffy's Draft House for comparison. CG's french fries are also way up at the top of my rating chart, as they are cooked brown and crispy the way that I like them. There are some beers on tap, and there is a really neat Coke machine which dispenses virtually every Coca-cola product with the push of a button. Prices are a little high, but considering the quality of the food, another couple of dollars vs some other burger places, it is a not big deal. CG Burger's offers a $7.00 milkshake which made me laugh as I remembered "Vincent's" (John Travolta) line from Pulp Fiction: "I gotta know what a five dollar shake tastes like." So, food wise going to CG Burger's is a solid choice. The rub with this place begins with attitude. I realize that not every employee is thrilled to be there, while others (I'm sure) really do care. It all begins with the way you are greeted. I noticed that the last time I was there, no smile, and barely an indication that she was ready for me to order. "Mechanical" you might say. When I paid for the food, I was told in a flat tone "Here you go" while handing me change. There was no "Thank you." no, "We'll bring your order right out" comment. That's Sales Courtesy 101. Even for a $10 order, at least act like it matters to you. Before I could tell her that she had given me a dollar too much, she had turned her back to me to speak with another employee. I left the dollar on the counter for her to figure out. It was still lunch time when I visited last. There were three remaining open booths and all of them had mostly consumed food waiting to be bused. I chose the cleanest of the three, and assumed that someone would be around soon to wipe it down. Never happened. Also, the floor around the salad bar looked terrible with lettuce and salad dressing on the floor mat in front. They must have been busy, and I can live with that except that I watched two different employees step over and around the food on the floor without coming back to sweep it up. I do not know where the manager was, but ignoring the spillage is pathetic. If it were possible to split the rating, I would give the restaurant a 4-star rating for food quality, and a single star for cleanliness and indifferent attitude. I would recommend getting food to go over dining in, especially during the busiest times.

I ordered a caprice pizza with extra pepperoni and this is what I got!! The crust doesn't even taste the same anymore!!! $3 more for one pepperoni...They just lost a customer for life.

Terrible. 3rd time here and 2nd problem!! Ordered online and charged and received email confirmation. When arrived for pickup, claimed did not get order. No apology!! Will never go back

South Florida seems to have an abundance of burger places and I was looking forward to seeing what this local place was all about. The decor was cool and I liked that you could see the cooks making your food. The salad bar looked decent and the staff was nice, hence the extra star. The burger, however, was somehow both super greasy and super dry at the same time. Im talking dripping grease but yet I could barely get it down. Not sure if they just overcooked the hell out of the meat or what, but I doubt I'd come back again with so many other burger joints to try.

Great salad bar with lots of organic greens. Gelato shake is awesome too! Burgers are very good, especially for the price!

Really tasty burger, I had the Cuban 8oz. They have 6-7 beers on tap and wine, not quite a full bar. Great parking and they are open for lunch.

Can't go wrong. The burgers are all amazing, the chicken tenders are amazing, the pizza by the slice is delicious! The buffalo chicken sandwich might be my favorite, with a side of garlic parm fries! Tons of options and a huge salad bar. The milk shakes are amazing! Try adding espresso to the cookies and cream! So good!!!

CG Burgers is an interesting burger joint oddly mixed in with an Italian place next door and across the parking lot from Leftovers at the intersection of Military Trail and University in Jupiter. They offer an interesting mix of burgers, sandwiches, wings and a salad bar. There's, literally, something for everyone on the ample menu, including vegetarians. Even though I'm a meat eater, I always consider accommodating vegetarians to be bonus point territory for a burger joint. They also offer zucchini fries as an alternative to french fries, another bonus. Approaching the menu the first time is a bit confusing and a little overwhelming and I found myself wishing for a simpler ordering process. Some pictures of their more popular combinations would have been nice instead of the wall-of-text menu on that dingy yellow background. Ordering turned out to be the weak point in our visit to CG Burgers. It was annoyingly painful to watch the people in front of me in line slog through their order, almost item by item. Find a way to speed that up, even if you have to trim your menu to do it. I got the six ounce Napa Burger with zucchini fries and my wife got the grilled chicken breast sandwich with french fries. My burger was cooked exactly the way fresh beef should be cooked, which appears undercooked to the untrained eye. My wife's sandwich was also cooked properly and overall, I think she got the better deal. Both the zucchini and french fries were overcooked to the point they were physically dry. I give CG's high marks for taste and preparation, except for the fries. The other low mark they get was for presentation. We got our sandwiches to go and they both looked sloppy, soggy and wilted when we opened them. I cut them some slack there because it's hard to be fresh, hot and wrapped without doing some damage to the presentation. With a few minor tweaks I could easily put CG Burgers in the same class as Burger Fi but they're not quite there. They need to speed up the painfully slow ordering process and work on the presentation and consistency of their side orders. It would be great if there was some way to improve the to-go presentation, maybe with boxes instead of wraps? We spent $26 for lunch for two and that seemed steep for a couple to-go sandwiches and overcooked fries. All the same, I found CG Burgers likable and I hope they can tweak their ordering process, presentation and consistency. We'll probably go back but we won't be in a hurry to get there.
