Google
10/10 for atmosphere! This place is absolutely adorable and has gorgeous natural lighting. The staff were kind and there were several pastry options available. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the prices were far too high for a Sioux Falls coffee shop in my opinion. I paid $6 for a small iced tea which was not that yummy. Also, I would recommend that CH Patisserie purchase some cute glassware to match their adorable vibe instead of using cheap disposable cups. Overall a lovely little place!

Google
I purchased a mushroom based latte and pictured strawberry cheesecake croissant. Both were beyond great. Friendly and quick service too. If attention to detail matters to you, this is your place.

Google
What a lovely shop. Let’s start with the important part—these are world class pastries. The shop itself is bright and spacious. It feels inviting, overall a nice spot to linger with some coffees and delicious treats. We tried a small assortment and got some macarons for the road. Everything was wonderful, the strawberry cheesecake croissant had lovely balances of flavors between the laminated dough pastry and the fillings, the kouign amann had lovely caramelized sugar flavors paired with the excellent laminated dough work, and the tropical getaway pastry was a fun journey of flavors and textures with the most lovely squeeze of passionfruit sauce that instantly transports your to the beach. The macarons were wonderfully done, the shell itself remained soft without cracking and crumbing, with a moist interior. The fillings were lovely flavors, the mint mojito macaron was a standout. The shop is accessible with plenty of room for wheelchair access, the restrooms are tucked away a bit in the ‘backstage’ area of the building. This is worth the stop and produces pastries that are top in the region.

Google
Loved it so much we came back to the city on our way home to visit again. Macaroons are absolutely incredible, easily on par with Paris bakeries. Lemon was phenomenal. Good service. Coffee excellent. Would return any time we are in the area.

Google
I can always find something gluten free here and when all I'm in the mood for a sweet treat, the macarons are the best! My out of state family always hopes I will bring them some when I come visit. Today I went in for the Chicken Bacon Ranch Quiche and husband got the Brioche Au Caramel. We were both very happy with our choices and as always, we intend to go back!

Google
This place never fails to impress. We have been here several times. Today, we stopped in for a coffee and to grab a few macaroons to go. We ordered a Large French Press was easily 3 tall cups of coffee. They have regular cream as well as Almond and Oat milk for dairy alternatives. The coffee was great and the macaroons are always amazing. They have lots of other pastries as well. We will definitely be back here again.

Let’s update our hours online instead of putting on the door so we don’t waste our time going downtown, paying for parking, and finding out you’re closed. Also, your croissants should not be crunchy when heated up, they should be warm and soft. When you toast them as much as you are, they flake apart. Thanks

Google
This was a real treat, the cappuccino and the strawberry cheesecake was delicious !!! My friend ordered an almond croissant and after trying both It was hard to decide which one I enjoyed because both were delightful, I highly recommend this Patisserie, when you get inside your eyes will pop looking at all the delicious treats !

Patty M.

Yelp
On a busy day, Valentines, they were well staffed and continued to restock. The 8 macarons in a heart-shaped box was perfect and oh so delicious.

Adriana G.

Yelp
Cute spot to have something sweet and a warm drink. Ch has really good macaroons of many flavors! My personal favorite is pistachio, I recommend if you ever stop by. I've had a tea here in the past, it was good. I noticed they're now serving spyhouse coffee which is one of my favs in MN! Only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because I feel like they could really work on the take-out presentation of macaroons. My friend ordered a dozen and she was given two cubed brown boxes with the macaroons stacked up on each other. This was not a good look. Usually, it is not a good idea to stack them as they could break. I was expecting a long thin type of to-go box in which the macaroons would be lined up and maybe even a clear window. Just a suggestion!

Yelp
You Fancy huh?! Ch was my most anticipated reason for visiting Sioux Falls. I was super excited to try this award winning chef's creations and experience why Sioux Falls?! I still don't really know why Sioux Falls (but hey he is a big fish in a small pond- plays out well when people are visiting they will or should flock here.) But I did try the food and I can share- it's pretty good! First off super nice, young girl working., Unfortunately she didn't know a lot. I'm sorry- but I have questions. Sheik environment (but if you have to sue the bathroom you are in the back depths of the building.) I went with a croissant, strawberry rhubarb cheesecake and got the kids some

Yelp
Super cute and trendy little store. They sell macarons, pastries, little cakes, and drinks! I got the Getaway which was a coconut lime cake with a vanilla bean white chocolate mousse and a passionfruit filling, covered in a chocolate crunch layer to look like a little coconut. It was soo good the tangy passionfruit was a perfect balance with the sweetness of the cake. It was not too sweet which I loved. I also got their seasonal lemonade which they told me was lychee melon flavored. It was super refreshing and yummy as well. My friend got their almond croissant which I had a bite of. It was also really good it had a nice filling and it was crunchy on the outside! I would recommend all three! The ladies working were also very friendly. If you're in the area, I really recommend stopping by!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious coffee and pastries!!! This is a must stop in Sioux Falls. My husband and I were visiting from Kansas City and this place was my favorite place we tried through the whole visit so I made it a point to come back every day. The coffee is out of this world. The vanilla bean latte has real vanilla bean in it. It is the most delicious coffee I've ever tasted. My husband had the mocha and he said it was next level with a rich depth of chocolate flavor that you don't find with a lot of mochas. My husband has to eat gluten free so I loved that there were gluten free options with the chocolate dream dome and the tropical dessert. They were delicious. I especially enjoyed the chocolate dream. It's amazing. I don't have to be gluten free so I also tried the strawberry cheesecake because I noticed it kept selling out everyday. It was not only beautiful but also delicious. Now about the macarons, oh my goodness I did not like these pastries anywhere else that I tried them in the past but Chef Chris Hanmer converted me and made me a believer. Wow!!!! I tried a bunch of different kinds as I came back each day so here is how I would rank them in order of preference (however they were all good) vanilla bean, coffee caramel, red velvet, Nutella, strawberry cheesecake, and cake frosting. They were all pretty and delicious. They pair perfectly with the coffee. If I had more time in Sioux Falls I would have tried every flavor. Even though I have already seen the Falls now I want to come back just for this place. Also, the ambiance and the way the place is decorated is super cute. It's such a treasure!

Teresa A.

Yelp
Strawberry cheesecake and cake batter macaroons were so delicious! Macaroons are one of my favorite guilty pleasures! When I stopped in, it was close to closing time so there wasn't much to purchase and the worker apologized she didn't have much. She was so sweet and friendly but it was no bother at all. It was nice to at least get a glimpse of what fancy desserts were left and try a couple macaroons. Cute Lil dessert shop. If you want more dessert options go early!

Tina J.

Yelp
A group of us bought a variety of pastries to try out, and they were all fantastic. Chocolate dream is a popular one, I recommend that to fans of chocolate mousse. Tried a coconut tropical one, raspberry donut pastry, caramel pastry and a cheesecake flavored one. Tried some macaroons too, they were good, but the pastries stood out the most. Cute little shop, but the service was iffy.

Christina E.

Yelp
I recently purchased both the almond croissant and rhubarb cheesecake. The beauty of all the desserts, including the macarons, are unbeatable. Their almond croissant was flaky, buttery, and loaded with almond flavor. Absolute perfection! The cheesecake was delicious as well. I really don't think you can go wrong here! They also serve coffee drinks. Its a bright location with a beautiful pastry case. The service was fast and friendly.

Jesse S.

Yelp
Get here ASAP! Love the interior of this space. Clean and bright and airy. Everything is very minimal, as the focus is on the wonderfully done pastries and coffee. The seasonal coffee cake was a delight. To be honest, I wouldn't have ordered it myself but I'm glad I did. It was fresh and light and packed full of berries. The kouign-amann was also perfectly done. Crispy coated outside and beautiful soft layers on the inside. To be honest I wish I had tried more. Paired the pastries with the chagaccino latte because of the sign out front. I didn't know what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's the basically an amazing mocha with a light sweet and more rounded flavor. I would have never guessed it had mushrooms inside.

Shradha A.

Yelp
Delicious desserts! They had a couple of gluten free options too. I tried the chocolate dream - a mousse with glaze and liked it. The macarons were perfection.

Cathy S.

Yelp
Wow! This place is so adorable and so welcoming! We were greeted with a smile by one of the owners. He was so sweet and very helpful. We were visiting Sioux Falls for my husband's job. One day, our son and I were out walking and stopped in to see what they had. The service, atmosphere, pastries, and drinks were so good! We were so impressed with the selection of pastries. They had several different types of pastries to choose from. From Macarons, Forager, Quiche, Croissants, and more! We ordered 6 Macarons ($2.25 each), Chagaccino ($6.10), and a Peach Iced Tea ($3.00) it all came to $27.17. Everything was so fresh and so tasty!! We definitely recommend this place and will be back!

Maylee W.

Yelp
Cutest bakery in downtown Sioux Falls. Ordered the beignets and salted caramel brioche - both delicious. Not too sweet. The display case was filled with macarons- I'll have to go back and try other items.

Stephanie B.

Yelp
Whoa. Seriously beautiful and delicious fresh pastries! This very unassuming spot might be missed unless you are looking for it and you SHOULD look for it! Gorgeous fresh croissants, extreme cupcakes and truffles but we came for the fresh macarons! Our favorite flavors were Caramel Latte and Puppy Chow but the teal green with sprinkles Birthday Cake was fun too! Skip the desserts at the other places and grab something here then take home croissants for breakfast

Kathy D.

Yelp
Cute little bakery shop with macarons which is my absolute favorite treat to get! I also got some of their croissants! Everything here is delicious, you can taste quality in their pastries, prices are a little high. The presentation and taste is 10/10! Definitely will come here again!

Susie M.

Yelp
Wow! Best croissant I have had in a long time!!! The Churro Croissant was amazing!! The Salted Carmel Latte fabulous as well with the cute logo transfer on top! If I am ever back in SF, I will be back!!

Jake P.

Yelp
We were walking around downtown and spotted this little place. It looked fancy and we decided to pop in! It's beautiful and all the pastries looked amazing. My wife loves macaroons so we snagged two of them for a total of about $5. With my first bite I wasn't too impressed, but the second.. phenomenal. The salted caramel macaroon from Ch Patisserie will be my favorite for all time. Best I have ever had! We'll be sure to stop in on our next visit and the fancier and more expensive desserts!

Mark O.

Yelp
Was told about this by some colleagues. Had some time on my business trip, so I went. Some very beautiful and very delicious pastries and good espresso! The Chocolate Bomb was exactly that. Delicious!! Will come again when I visit next.

Mitchell M.

Yelp
I don't see the hype on this place. The pastries were average at best. I tasted a brioche with caramel and the caramel was a bit bitter. I think the quality is off and maybe it was an off day but for the price it needs to be better I believe. The people were truly amazing though and lovely store for sure. It made everything look real high class but they just need to work harder on quality.

Deborah B.

Yelp
One of our favorite date places. Love the wonderful pastries and coffees. We continue to celebrate anniversaries- Valentine Day- and just our time together. Wonderful food and memories.

Gt B.

Yelp
Award winning pastry chef. Beautiful, delicious pastries and macarons. The coffee and latte were very, very good. Not powder out of a machine. Here a year ago and back today. Definitely worth a visit. We are returning tomorrow for breakfast again. Date of visit: July 2023

Brianna J.

Yelp
Found this place because of a tiktok! Me and my partner loved the experience. 5 stars the girls were so nice and helpful! The desserts were beautiful and tasted great. And the inside was small and cute! Would go again

Anthony K.

Yelp
Excellent desserts and service has always been wonderful. Prices are high though. For a dessert stop their hours are strange as they close at 7 pm, so plan to have dessert before dinner or have an early dinner to make it before they close.

George E.

Yelp
After seeing everyone else's pictures, my wife & I wanted to try this place but didn't manage to make it to there until 6pm on a Saturday evening. We were a little disappointed in the few non-macaroon desserts that were still left, but we still enjoyed the hell out of the Chocolate Dream & the Getaway! Weekend morning sleeping-in be damned, we're going A LOT earlier next time!

Julie N.

Yelp
This is such a treat to have a high quality French Patisserie place in town. I always take out of town guests here for a treat.

Mayra R.

Yelp
I absolutely loved the pastries here. I would definitely recommend this to any foodies out there that want to try new food like me! The staff were really friendly! The total vibe of the shop is so comforting. I will be coming back soon for sure!

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Went here when we visited South Dakota during 4th of July weekend! I went overboard coz we are from Chicago and won't be back. I had their vanilla latte, almond croissant, and the churro croissant my kids loved coz it was something different. The hazelnut macaron didn't taste like hazelnut though.

Sioux Falls F.

Yelp
I'd love to meet the crazy person who gives this place any rating under 5 stars. Gordon Ramsay himself would 5 star this place. We ordered several desserts and 6 macaroons and split it amongst 3 people. I lived in Tampa for 2 decades and always thought the best macaroons were there. Until I walked in this place. So amazing!! Brownie was delicious and the Strawberry Rhubarb Panna Cotta was so good I about fell out of my chair. I will be a weekly customer.

Jada L.

Yelp
Really love the fancy confections. Feel spoiled whenever I have a taste. Reminds me that I gotta go get some.

Jessica H.

Yelp
Holy cow I'm so excited a fellow Yelper messaged me when she heard I would be in Sioux Falls. I was going to a wedding and knew I'd be sad watching everyone eat cake because I loooove cake but I can't eat gluten. This place has BEAUTIFUL gluten-free desserts!! I picked the gf passionfruit cheesecake. Yowza. I had the prettiest dessert at this wedding by far and I bet it tasted the best too. I definitely didn't feel like I was missing out on the wedding cake and people kept admiring what I brought! Thank you so much!!

Robin V.

Yelp
Stuck in SD for the winter due to broken agreement by a local Pastor. Heartbroken, all alone for Thanksgiving and Christmas with horrible breathing issues from mold and environmental toxicity poisoning in the house he wouldn't allow us to inspect! ... needed FRESH AIR. Someone suggested CH Patisserie! It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Actually forgot about the pain for an hour! Not a fan of sugary stuff but their selection was "off the chain" and the staff was so patient and kind, explaining several of the "art pieces of dessert". I settled for this fantabulous lemon blossom.... everyone raved about the macaroons but I will always go back for this one!

Allison Z.

Yelp
Visiting Sioux Fall and was very excited about the shop, food wasn't bad, but one of the waitresses obviously wasn't in the mood to serve anyone that day. We ordered 2 pastries and 3 drinks. Only 2 drinks came out, and as I questioned about the 3rd one, she blatantly lied that I didn't order it. I didn't have the receipt on me but did the math and was SURE that she shorted me on my peach ice tea. Went back in line again and another girl took care of it, great attitude and no question. Overheard the girl complaining about work to her friends. You did not need to be here if you feel under appreciated or under paid. Find a better job. It's too bad it ruined our experience with all the cute cakes we had.

Ronit M.

Yelp
Visited here with my bestie and she loves the macarons! That's all subjective, right?! (some were a tad too sweet for my buds) ^_^ Cute little shop with ample amounts of seating and fun sweet treats to give a taste! We tried almost everything there during the course of our week in the area. The peach iced tea (unsweetened) was my favorite drink. The cappuccino was sour tasting. Eek! We tried the lemon cake, and the tiramisu cake and the one that looks like a crunch bar (that last one was my fave of the cakes). We also tried half of each macaron (split them down the middle). I won't spoil the flavors for you, but my bestie and I both highly recommend the snickerdoodle macaron! Flavors were spot on. Tables were relatively clean. They don't disinfect between use - so if you want to be extra cautious, bring a wipe or grab a damp paper towel from the restroom. That's why 4*, but otherwise this place is top notch! Pastries are a bit pricy but worth the splurge for the flavors to ensue. There were some other sweet treats I wanted to try, but I was sweeted out by the end. Happy Eats!

Mikhail V.

Yelp
As some would say: In the backwaters of America (Hmmmmm). Finding a place like this would be a great treat for anyone. The menu wasn't that expansive but that may be because we were there around 5pm, where most bakeries are selling mostly at the open. But the selection of Macarons was amazing and all of them not soggy like you might find most places. Filling fresh and very aromatic and tasty. The pastries (those that were left) looked absolutely amazing and tasted even better then they looked.

Zechariah S.

Yelp
A quaint place with not much seating but the service and desserts are wonderful! Pro Tip: If you're in the dog house, bring home some treats from here.

Ke P.

Yelp
Clean ingredients - I usually have allergy symptoms if the sugar or ingredients are fake. I had six or seven pieces yesterday but no symptoms today. My favorites include lemon, puppy chow, and strawberry cheesecake.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
I visited CH Patisserie after watching a YouTube video of "things to do in Sioux Falls". I am not much of a sweets eater, but I wanted to try it out because I had never had a macaroon and I heard they won a TV baking show competition. The macaroons were fabulous. A couple were too sweet for me, but again I am not a sweets eater. I actually LOVED the Brioche au Carmel. It was DELICIOUS! I wanted to try the Key Lime Raspberry Petit Gateau, but they didn't have any available. I would go back for the Brioche au Carmel!

Kris S.

Yelp
This place is a wonderful little gem downtown Sioux Falls. From their small cakes to the macaroons and coffee....everything is wonderful. I recommend stopping by and treating yourself.

Denise Z.

Yelp
The macaroons were delicious! Good feet, a light and airy texture. And a pretty visually! The chocolate croissant was not my favorite - too flaky. The latte was the best I had while in Sioux Falls. Service was cheerful and friendly. This is a great place for a meeting, reading that book on a coffee break or afternoon tea with friends and family.

Mitch B.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic. May be one of the best foods I've ever eaten in my entire life. Putting a cheesecake inside a strawberry croissant. Absolutely brilliant. Only $4! I would have paid $10 in any restaurant.

Harley D.

Yelp
Wow, the lemon meringue croissant was incredible. It was great. I really loved all of the socially detached techniques that were being used, as well as the excellent customer service that was being provided. If I find myself in Sioux Falls again, you can be sure that I'll pay you another visit!

Lianna N.

Yelp
Grabbed a couple of treats to go on a visit to SF- and man this place rocks. The owner and head chef/baker is well trained and even has some gloat for being featured on a popular Bravo competition cooking show. Straight from the website: "World Champion Pastry Chef Chris Hanmer's creatively crafted confections to downtown Sioux Falls,SD. These European-style delights exude elegance and possess a unique flair all their own." I can't agree more, highly suggest the Croissants, and his spin on stuffed Beignets!

Angelica M.

Yelp
All the dessert is just so perfect and so on point. The food looks so pretty as well There was no food I ordered that I didn't like Staff was also very nice which added to the experience! I dream about this bakery! I will definitely come back once I fly again to this area.

Allie S.

Yelp
Yum!! I love downtown Sioux Falls, and when I get some extra time, I like to visit Sioux Falls, and walk around the adorable downtown. The CH Patisserie is always first on my list of places to visit. Everything I have tried is absolutely to die for, and so! Good! Seriously. Check this place out! You won't regret it!

Reaston M.

Yelp
Wonderful atmosphere and delicious treats. Coming in on a hot day after walking around downtown hitting the shops is absolutely the move.

Amanda L.

Yelp
This place is super cute in the inside and seems like a chill spot to do some homework or just relax. The woman at the counter was friendly and the location was clean. All of the desserts looked delicious and the macarons did not disappoint. They were soft and flavorful, all around delicious.

Chris K.

Yelp
So limited on bakery goodies! Really surprised. Waiting for my latte and watched many come in and look at bakery case and turn around and walk out. I felt the same! Expensive too!!!

Ashley G.

Yelp
Why haven't you been here yet? This place has great desserts made well, and they are French in quality. The macaroons are better quality and fresher than Laduree in Paris. They're soft, but crunchy, and taste very fresh, with the correct flavoring of whatever you choose to try. The other pastries are quite good, but not a palate favorite mine. I feel like they should broaden their work to bring a larger crowd and start on bread. I know many who love the French bread and cheese V selection and would be stunned to have this also available. :) Over all, I'll continue to visit here and will stay a loyal fan until either the business goes or I. ;) Thanks so much for the great food!!

Kyra C.

Yelp
This is such a cute little shop--the pastries look amazing, and I got probably the best mocha I've had in Sioux Falls. I definitely will be stopping by more often.

Amy S.

Yelp
Ten stars! The favorite was actually the brownie! High quality heaven. Lemon cake had a shot of tart lemon with the creamy goodness. Spectacular!!!!
