I tried Cha Ca elsewhere but it's nowhere near the taste of the Cha Ca here. It's truly the best. The fish is tender and flavorful. The fish stomach has the right texture to it. The sauce, fish and shrimp, are the right flavors and level - subtle but tasty, not overpowering. Miles and miles away from other Cha Ca places. Too bad their fish rolls were out of stock, we would've loved to try that out. The waiters were very friendly and helpful. Some also know English so it was so easy to order. Will definitely go back.

It was my first time trying Cha Ca and it was absolutely delicious. The fish was so soft and meaty and the spring rolls just melted in my mouth . Restaurant also added into the Michelin guide recommendation.

We were so excited to try this dish when coming to Hanoi for the first time. We ordered the Cha Ca and nothing else, and it did not disappoint! Our server spoke some English and taught us how to eat the dish properly which we really appreciated. The service and food is top notch and we’d recommend to any one who enjoys fresh herbs and fish.

Ambience: The restaurant felt pretty homely and was lively. Generally a relaxing place to have dinner. Food: The herbs and vegetables used were fresh. The fish itself was well seasoned and fresh too, however, the overall dish was very oily. Service: Overall service was great and attentive. Their respond is pretty fast too

Grilled catfish speciality in Hanoi and my family loved it. They have options for fish stomach (rather chewy and similar texture to pig intestines) and also offer side dishes such as cut cucumbers and French fries. I will recommend ordering both the fish and fish stomach for your pan to get the full experience. The restaurant has a family feel and has very attentive service eg. Random waiters will cast the occasional eye on your main dish and then take the initiative to stir up your pan fried fish and greens to prevent them from overcooking.
